"Et morietur omne" Part II

The first rule of simming is that real life is more important.
If you need to miss a sim, please inform me so we can plan accordingly.
Thanks!

Background
After the confusion and misunderstanding between the Turians and the Federation on SD1704.25, the Turians informed us that they were in search of a deadly organism, capable of eliminating entire civilizations, originating from Erasta XII. They believed the only way to be sure the organism was eradicated was to destroy everything that came into contact with the planet’s surface.

On SD1705.09, the Hermes completed the Turian quarantine and was ordered to accompany the Turian vessel back to Erasta XII. Starfleet has recommended containment of the lifeform known as Caedem and instillation of safety and quarantine protocols to prevent future hostile engagement from the lifeform.  A detailed species file for the Caedem is available in the Starfleet Database.

Mission Briefing

The Hermes has arrived at Erasta XII and is currently in orbit alongside the Turian ship. Due to the importance of success on this mission, all senior officers have been ordered to join the Turian away team on the planet's surface.

The Hermes will remain in orbit under the command of First Lt. Dorian Micheals under the supervision of the highest ranking officer, Doctor Kayshl Durandus. The Turian away team will be lead by Scientist Vetra Nix and General Nihilus Kryik.

Luckily, thanks to some innovative thinking from the crew, we have come up with a plan that will hopefully neutralize the Caedem. Only a face to face encounter will tell us for sure.

Important Notes
1. This sim takes place 2 days after our last scheduled sim.
2. The away team should be in Transporter Room 1 ready to transport to the surface at sim start.
