U.S.S. Excelsior

Mission Brief 201902.10

Captain's Log, Stardate 201902.10:

We have finally reached Deep Space Six.  The ship has been limping along on systems that have been tied together and held together with “bubble gum and shoe strings.” Kudos to Lt. Commander Wolfe and his staff as they have been working around the clock to keep things running. Also, extremely helpful, was Mr. Ruwan. He worked as diligently as any regular crew member to get power up and keep the ship running.

Lt. Gar has remained off duty during this entire trip back.  Counselor N'Tazzia has been having regular sessions with the woman, but not a lot of progress has been made to this point.  Still, Commander Carishai, and the counselor, believe the lieutenant's best chances of coming through this would be with her remaining aboard the Excelsior.  Lt. McMillian is expected to return to normal duty soon as well. He has been under therapy with Counselor Zuniga. This past incident has been rough on many of this crew.

END LOG

For the Sim:

Three weeks have passed since the last sim. We will be docking at Deep Space 6 on sim start.  Engineers still have their hands full with ship repairs, but will also get their time at shore leave. We can actually take a breath.

IMPORTANT NOTE: It is important to note, unless your character is on the bridge, or otherwise indicated by command, you have no prior knowledge of the alien/menace we face. Also, please, keep your character nick as short as possible so as to not have it take up more than one line.  A good example would be “Ens_Nick, or Ltjg_Nick, etc.  Your character's full name is on the crew roster and is not always required in the chat room. Thank you for these considerations.

Expected Absences:

Dr. Harris,  Lt. Commander Wolfe (always possible due to work),

Respectfully submitted,
Captain Michael Holden
Commanding Office
