Mission Brief 201806.10

Captain's Log, Supplemental:

Things have just happened so quickly, that I think my head is still spinning.  The Breen dreadnought showed its ugly hull and fired on us with out shields down, which we did to make a show of friendship and trust to the Delta Quadrant ship.  Commander Lobren was able to rais the shields in enough time to keep the disruptor blast from doing sever damage to the ship, though the damage was sufficient enough to knock out our warp drive.  In a surprise move a Romulan warbird de-cloaked and opened fire on the dreadnought. Why? I have no idea.  Also, the Delta Quadrant ship opened fire on the dreadnought with a particle beam that, frankly, was scary. I have just been informed the warbird has self destructed and the dreadnought is currently dead in space.  I have  ordered a scan for any surviving Romulans as well as an open channel to the Delta Quadrant ship.

END LOG

For the Sim:

Engineering teams will now have their hands full in effecting the XL's repairs as well as possibly helping the Delta Quadrant ship. We will also be scanning the area for any Romulan survivors, though it seems the Breen made certain there would be none. The ship will be on YELLOW ALERT Status.

IMPORTANT NOTE: It is important to note, unless your character is on the bridge, or otherwise indicated by command, you have no prior knowledge of the alien/menace we face. Also, please, keep your character nick as short as possible so as to not have it take up more than one line.  A good example would be “Ens_Nick, or Ltjg_Nick, etc.  Your character's full name is on the crew roster and is not always required in the chat room. Thank you for these considerations.

Expected Absences:

Dr. Haris, Lt. Commander Wolfe (always possible due to work), Lt. Avatis (L.O.A.)

Respectfully submitted,
Captain Michael Holden
Commanding Office
