DESCRIPTION
John Styre is a tall, striking man. He has a definite since of presence;
individuals notice when he enters a room in one way or another. He stands
6'2", and weighs 175 lbs. He is of good physical build due to experiences
detailed later in this file. Though always immaculately groomed and dressed
in his duty uniform, Styre's most striking features are his eyes. They are a
very deep, absorbing blue, which sometimes shifts to gray when
certain abilities are used. When one looks into his eyes, one sees much
hidden pain and sorrow; this pain is overwhelming to those not prepared to
see it. Styre is also a great presence mentally, as he is an exceptionally
skilled telepath.
BACKGROUND
John M. Styre, only son of Marcus and Carol Styre, was born on SD 7203.05,
near Chicago, Earth. His father was a Federation freighter captain, and his
mother had no formal occupation at the time of his birth. Styre was a quiet
child; during the period of his schooling he preferred to observe and learn
about the world around him, rather than interact heavily with other young
children. He easily mastered the topics presented to him before his
Academy education, and passed the entrance examinations to SFA almost as
easily.
He studied at the Academy from age 18 to age 21, when he graduated with high
honors. He majored in the field of temporal physics. Classes he took

Styre earned a doctorate in the advanced sciences from the academy upon
graduation for exceptional work. He does not, however, prefer being referred
to as "Doctor Styre." His reason for this is unknown.
Styre also independently studied the theory of dimensional transcendentalism
(bigger inside than out) while in the Academy. He conferred with a small
group of friends on this project.
While in the Academy, Styre was mainly a student. He did have several
personal diversions, however, and was known as quite the fun person around
his fellow science students. He also mastered the art of spoons playing
during his Academy tenure. Another subject studied by Styre was
self-defense, where he achieved a high rating in aikido, a form of unarmed
combat. Styre practices this aikido even today, and is deadly in
hand-to-hand combat. He is
also proficient in the usage of edged weapons, specifically the 14th century
Earth rapier, a light, thin-bladed sword.
After graduating the Academy, Styre's life seemed to be heading on a perfect
heading. It was almost ironic, then, that the night after his graduation,
his parents were killed before his eyes by a group of psychotic criminals.
This destroyed his life as it was at the time, and he became obsessed with
avenging his parents' death. To this end, he joined with a group of
quasi-mercenaries who claimed to be working for the Federation. This group,
who
referred to themselves only as the "Group," actually was working against the
Federation, and committed several lethal terrorist acts. Of course, Styre
did not know this at the time that he joined.
After joining the Group, Styre was genetically modified by them. They
performed dangerous yet successful experiments on him, and enhanced his
agility, perception, and sensitivity. The Group doctor performed a highly
dangerous modification of Styre's temporal lobe, activating the latent
telepathic genes found there in all humans. After these modifications, Styre
was a superhuman, with telepathic powers, heightened senses, and heightened
agility.
He already possessed a staggering intelligence, and already knew lethal
unarmed combat techniques, so he was a virtually unstoppable weapon.
The Group exploited Styre's new abilities for their own benefit. Styre was
used as a weapon, and he was forced to assassinate innocent Starfleet
officers and other Federation citizens. Of course, Styre was told that these
individuals were spies or traitors, and, as such, thought he was doing the
right thing.
After three years working with the Group, Styre discovered evidence that
revealed their true intentions. Appalled at what he had been doing, Styre
immediately contacted Starfleet with information. Unfortunately, Styre was
captured before Starfleet could trace his location. Styre spent the next
year in various prisons, being shipped around by the Group. After about a
year had passed, Styre was released by an unknown person, which allowed him
to
contact Starfleet. Starfleet attacked the Group base, and captured almost
all of the 7 Group members. The leader and one other individual (who Styre
claims was a kindhearted doctor, Lawrence Childs) escaped, and one of the
Group died in the attack. This left Styre and three Group members to be
captured.
After the three Group members were tried and sentenced to life imprisonment,
Styre was brought to trial. Though he had committed crimes worse than any
other Group member (known to Starfleet), Styre was instrumental in their
capture. Seeing both his brilliant mind, and his kind, just spirit, they
acquitted Styre of all charges and sent him on his way.
At age 25, Styre applied for placement aboard a starship. His application
was accepted, and he was assigned as Assistant Science Officer aboard the USS
Lothlorien, NCC-514251.
While aboard the Lothlorien (refitted, now the Lothlorien-A), Styre was
approached by a deity referring to itself as Time, one of the beings that
controls the fabric of the universe. Styre was asked to become a Champion of
Time, because of his just and kind spirit, and because of his drive to
forward the interests of what is right. He was endowed with certain powers
to further this job: a personal time-shield, which deflects any object
composed of
matter if he chooses it; the ability to manipulate an object's age
(timeshock), and the ability to travel through the interstitial gateways of
Time that lie outside our universe. He only uses these powers for serious
purposes when it is necessary. When he uses these powers, his eyes, normally
a deep blue, change to slate gray.
PSYCHOLOGICAL PROFILE
Styre is a studious individual. The most important thing in his life is his
work, as he believes his life is a quest to atone for his past crimes. To
this end, Styre spends all of his free time doing science work or practicing
his self-defense. Occasionally one may find him having a glass of sparkling
apple cider in Sixteen Forward (the USS Lothlorien lounge), but he can
normally be found in the science labs, his office, or his quarters. Styre
is always immaculately dressed in his duty uniform. Rare are the occasions
when one sees him wearing anything else, even during off-duty hours.
Styre is not oblivious to authority, but he is not of the variety of person
that snaps to attention at the very sight of a superior officer. He treats
his superiors with respect, but will not interrupt a vital experiment to
exchange (as he says) needless formalities.
Styre's personality is an enigma. Externally, he appears to be bitter,
sarcastic, and cynical. Though this is not his true attitude towards life,
he uses this form of humor as a way to relieve frustration. Styre is, in
truth, a virtuous and kind person, always willing to sacrifice himself to
forward the causes of justice. He is very strong-willed, and will never bend
to the will of others if he disagrees with them. Due to his past
experiences,
he hates death in any form, and will do everything in his power to prevent
death from occurring in any situation. The years he spent with the Group
severely damaged him emotionally, and one can see his deep inner pain simply
by gazing into his eyes.
His relatively few hobbies include Earth music of the 1960's, aikido

Roel Jere is a religious man, who believes strongly in his Bajoran heritage
and culture. He was raised in the shadow of the Cardassian occupation of
Aurelia, and has learned to hate Cardassians, and never trust them. His
personal motto is that “Any Cardassians within ten light-years of me are as
good as dead!”
Above everything, however, Roel is dedicated to his duty. He is willing to
sacrifice anything and everything for the greater good. He is very loyal to
the chain of command, and is very respecting of it. He is also strict, and
will punish harshly if his orders or wishes are not followed out exactly.
Roel’s interests are varied, but they include holo-recreations of his home,
as well as of ancient places from many cultures, including the Library of
Alexandria, Atlantis, B’hala, and others. He also enjoys spicy food, and has
a great range of knowledge on ‘spicing up’ food of different races. He
enjoys hunting, as well as acting and what he calls ‘yardwork.’ He is
currently the grounds keeper of the arboretum aboard the Lothlorien.

Korblan. Their marriage resulted in Roel’s brother, a half Klingon, half
human, named Alexander, Son of Gortag. Alexander graduated Starfleet
Academy, and is now posted as Assistant Armoury Officer aboard Starbase 31.

During his posting on the Excalibur, he had to make the decision about
whether or not to turn his father, who was a Maquis rebel, to authorities
during a mission against the Maquis. He finally decided not to, but he would
not make the same decision again. Currently, Jere is on the U.S.S.
Lothlorien, where he is the Chief Tactical Officer and Chief of Security.

Psychological/Personal Profile:
Roel Jere is a religious man, who believes strongly in his Bajoran heritage
and culture. He was raised in the shadow of the Cardassian occupation of
Aurelia, and has learned to hate Cardassians, and never trust them. His
personal motto is that "Any Cardassians within ten light-years of me are as
good as dead!"
Above everything, however, Roel is dedicated to his duty. He is willing to
sacrifice anything and everything for the greater good. He is very loyal to
the chain of command, and is very respecting of it. He is also strict, and
will punish harshly if his orders or wishes are not followed out exactly.
Roel's interests are varied, but they include holo-recreations of his home,
as well as of ancient places from many cultures, including the Library of
Alexandria, Atlantis, B'hala, and others. He also enjoys spicy food, and has
a great range of knowledge on 'spicing up' food of different races. He
enjoys hunting, as well as what he calls 'yard work.' He is currently the
groundskeeper of the arboretum aboard the Lothlorien.
Family Background:
Aurelia V is one of two habitable planets in the Aurelia system, which is
located in the Alpha quadrant, near the Bajoran system. Aurelia IV and V
were originally unpopulated by humanoids, but the first Bajoran settlers (one
of which was Roel Jere's grandfather) landed there approximately 65 years
ago, seeking to escape from the Cardassian Occupation of Bajor. (Aurelia IV
was not colonized, due to its long winters.) After the Cardassians had
settled themselves in on Bajor, they decided that it was the time to find the
Bajorans who had fled to Aurelia (about thirty years after the Bajoran
Occupation started). The Cardassians soon found Aurelia, and the Aurelian
Occupation began. At about this time, Roel's father was about 25 years old,
and he joined the quick-formed resistance movement on the planet.
About five years into the Aurelian Occupation, Roel's mother was traveling
through the system with her father, who was an explorer. Thinking that their
ship was a Bajoran resistance ship, the Cardassians shot it down. Roel's
father spotted their ship going down, and rushed to their aid. However, when
he arrived, Roel's father found only his future wife to still be alive. He
took her into his care, nursed her back to health, and they were soon
married. Shortly after that, Roel was born.

PRE-ACADEMY BACKGROUND
Born to Drs. John and Kim Kivo, both scientists, Quint was taken, with his
parents to numerous deep-space assignments until age 10, when the trio
returned to Earth and purchased a farm in Rhode Island. They lived there for
5 years, before returning to deep-space. Aboard the U.S.S. Jeffories at age
17, He became apprenticed to the Chief Engineer. The Jeffories was part of
the armada at Wolf 359, and was destroyed. Quint made it to an escape pod
with
the engineering staff, but when the pod was recovered by Starfleet, his
parents were not amongst the survivors. They were pronounced Missing In
Action (MIA), presumed dead. Quint became depressed, and started a barfight
one night two weeks after returning to Earth. The local courts sentenced him
to three days detention and physcological counciling. He was released in the
custody of Counselor Tamara Zekad. Three months later, he went to Utopia
Planatia shipyards for civilian service and became a medical apprentice. Six
months later, on his 18th birthday, he joined Starfleet Academy.

While on the farm, Quint learned alot of botany and science skills. Aboard
the Jeffories, he recieved extensive engineering training. Also, on Utopia
Planatia, he recieved even more extensive medical training.

Summary:
Quint is a good man, except around the anniversary of the Battle of Wolf 359,
he typically has nightmares and is very short tempered. He was a hard worker,
and to my knowledge, has had only one brush with the law. He started a fight
at a bar on Earth after his parents were killed at Wolf 359. He escaped with
the two dozen other survivors from the U.S.S. Jeffories. He spent three days
in a holding cell and was released into the custody of Couselor
Tamara Zekad. He applied to Starfleet academy a year later to study either
engineering or medicine, or both.
Psychological Profile:
Shortly after returning to Earth with the survivors of the Borg incedent at
Wolf 359, Quint became severely depressed and withdrew. He spent the next day
at a bar, staring aimlessly at the same drink. After drinking one shot of
whiskey he punched a waiter and began a barfight. Starfleet security arrested
him. He was charged with disturbing the peace and illegally consuming alcohol
(due to age). The magistrate sentenced him to three days detention and
psychiatric assistance. He was later realeased to my care. Quint is a good
man, and means well, but he get's unnerving and impatient during the
anniversary of the Battle of Wolf 359. He has expressed interest in joining
Starfleet, and I will sponsor his application.

the move to SanDiego, California. They never really told me why, but I liked
the US better. I continued school, and graduated from High School.
Academy Training
I was interested in the Medical Field, and studied it thoroughly in the
Academy. I accelled in the class, finishing it off 2nd in my class. I also
took Advanced Medical, and did just as peachy there. I also studied weaponry
and piloting, but I didn't like it as much. In my weaponry studies, I learned
all about phasers, and managed to purchase a Phaser Level 2 based on what I
learned.

Personal Background: Born on the planet Trill in 2349. My mother Ezri Khan
was a joined Trill and his father Marek was a half Vulcan and half Trill.
Even though I was born on Trill, my family and I traveled a lot. My father a
freighter captain and my mother his first officer. By a young age I learned
to pilot a ship and by the age of 15 I was a part of my fathers crew as the
helm officer. At the age of 16 I applied at the Vulcan Science
Academy but was turned down and remained on my father's freighter where I
began research on Vulcan physcology and learned to use my telepathic powers.
Once I was 18 I moved back to Trill and lived with my aunt and uncle. Thats
when I decided to enter the Trill Iniate program. I spent two years studying
but was recjected in the final stages.
After being rejected I decided to take up another freighter job delivering
supplies to and from Trill. I was the ship's Cheif Conn officer and spent
the next year doing that until one day we got a Trill symbiont aboard to take
back to Trill. But on the way it became unstable and needed a host or it
would die. I immediatley volunteered, begin the most qualified one there.
Thats when I became the 5th and first male host to the Prax symbiont.
After begin joined I remained on the freighter a couple more months, until I
felt that I needed something more of a challenge. So I applied to Starfleet
Academy and was accepted.
Throughout the Academy, I kept good grades and made plenty of good friends.
I majored in Advanced Security training and minored in Physcology. I had
hopes of graduating first in my class but ended up at graduating 4th. Then
was posted aboard the USS Lothlorien as a Security Officer.

Settar has a slight history of skin problems due to his being
raised under the Sun of Vulcan. It presents no problem to his
ability to perform his duty.
Psychological: Several years ago Settar's biological sister was caught in a
fire(His own home) She was treated, but didn't recover from her burns. The
choice was between putting her in biological suspension (basically she would
be in a deep coma until she died of natural causes) and taking her off the
life support systems. Settar himself, deactivated her systems on Dec. 15. Due
to this he falls into an emotional slump around this time of year
(about one week before and after Dec. 15). Other than that he is highly
mentally able to perform his duty to the fullest
Psionic Abilities: Settar is only part Vulcan, but he does exhibit some minor
psionic abilities. He can for a mind meld with other beings for short periods
of time, he can communicate telepathically only with another full telepathic
being, and he is able to sense minor emotional change within an area (such as
the bridge)
Career: Settar graduated from the academy at the age of 25 after taking

About Settar's life: Settar was born in Chicago on Earth. Shortly after he
was taken to Vulcan. There his Sister T'Lannas was born while he was growing
up. At the age of 15 their house caught on fire due to faulty solar
insulation. T'Lannas was killed in the incident. Settar separated himself
from his family for a long time. He put himself totally into his school work
and joined Starfleet just to deal with the pain. After a while he accepted
his sister's death and moved on. He decided to stay in the academy, but first
he took a vacation home to Vulcan. Then he resumed his studies and graduated.
He is a very competant individual. His only problem is that he has secluded
himself from other people. He can't deal with death very easily.

Specialized missions: On SD 9812.28 Settar was part of a special mission to
recover a specialized Romulan space craft. The ship was armed with a
Quantum-Subspace-Pulse-Emitter (QSPE) that destabilized subspace in a fovused
beam. While onboard the abandoned ship Settar discovered a gravity node that

managed to repair those wounds. The QSPE was destroyed before it fell into
the wrong hands, and the mission was cleared from the ship's

described to be neither curled nor straight, only bodied enough to define her
oval face. Her hair is dark brown with soft highlights that appear from time
to time. Without explanation, Mavelle refuses to let anyone see her
with her hair down. As a result, it is often styled in a tight French twist.
Her eyes are considered strange as no Betazoid has been known to have such a
strange pigment. Deep lilac, her eyes are considered to be her best
features. They have been described to "sparkle" or "twinkle" from time to
time. Though she has excellent vision, Mavelle has been seen wearing
oval-framed style glasses. Mavelle also carries a soft English accent.
Attire: Due to the fact that Mavelle is an officer, she is usually seen in
her medical uniform. Over her uniform, she always wears a white lab coat.
Her breast pocket usually carries her glasses while the other two pockets
often carries her tri-corder and a hypospray of Formazine. Although it is
no longer needed, Mavelle still uses a stethoscope. As she had discovered it
belonged to her father, Mavelle never parts with it. It is often seen

Personal History
Mavelle first grew up as Serenity Marie Troi. Believing she was part of the
Troi family, she grew to understand and respect what the responsibilities of
being a Troi. However, due to the traumatic death of her fiancé, Mavelle
decided to join Starfleet Medical, which were very much against Lwaxana's and
Deanna's wishes. While stationed on the USS
Integrity, she discovered that her real identity was erased from her memory
as a child. She returned to Betazed, only to discover that she was the
subject of a secret experiment which left her as a host of the "souls" of an
old race. Feeling the need to connect with her past, Serenity changed her
name to the one given to her at birth. When the USS Integrity picked up a
stray Starfleet Intelligence agent, Lt. Commander Erika Jane Anderson,
Mavelle
took interest and became very good friends with her. Soon after a mission,
Mavelle discovered that Erika was her twin sister. Both are almost
inseparable and often cause extreme mischief if they are together.

Mavelle loves the Fine Arts with a passion. Being most interested in Earth's
early Fine Arts development around the Victorian and Renaissance era, Mavelle
is usually seen in the holodeck taking the time to enjoy the simplicity those
eras displayed in their complex cultural philosophy. One ability she is most
proud of is her voice. Because of her angelic voice, Mavelle can often carry
a tune without a musical instrument as an aide. Many times, as a
cadet, she was asked to be the entertainment for small gatherings and such.
She can also play the flute and the piano. Mavelle also enjoys reading old
Earth classics during her free time. Among her favorites are Cyrano de
Bergerac, Pride and Prejudice, Jane Eyre, and Taming of the Shrew. During
her free time, she often stays in her quarters to read or write.
Nevertheless, she can be seen
mingling with her friends in Ten Forward from time to time.
Mavelle is a complete telepath, being able to communicate with another
powerful telepath less than a lightyear away. Due to changes as a child,
Mavelle has a slightly higher tolerance against pain or telepathic intrusion.
Physcological Profile
Mavelle is considered mentally and emotionally fit for duty. Although she
tends to act like her good friend, Dr. Robert Hopt, Mavelle is a more than
capable doctor who can and will do her duties properly. Because Mavelle is
very dedicated to her work, she can often forget to rest. As a result, her
defenses tend to be weaker, causing her to receive strong
headaches that can be fatal if not treated at once. Mavelle is incredibly
stubborn, debating over issues she feels very passionate about. Because of

DESCRIPTION
John Styre has a definite since of presence; individuals notice when he
enters a room in one way or another. He stands 6'2", and weighs 175 lbs. He
is of good physical build due to experiences detailed later in this file.
Though always immaculately groomed and dressed in his duty uniform, Styre's
most striking features are his eyes. They are a very deep, absorbing blue,
which sometimes shifts to gray when certain abilities are used. When
one looks into his eyes, one sees much hidden pain and sorrow; this pain is
overwhelming to those not prepared to see it. Styre is also a great presence
mentally, as he is an exceptionally skilled telepath.
BACKGROUND
John M. Styre, only son of Marcus and Carol Styre, was born on SD 7203.05,
near Chicago, Earth. His father was a Federation freighter captain, and his
mother had no formal occupation at the time of his birth. Styre was a quiet
child; during the period of his schooling he preferred to observe and learn
about the world around him, rather than interact heavily with other young
children. He easily mastered the topics presented to him before his
Academy education, and passed the entrance examinations to SFA almost as
easily.
He studied at the Academy from age 18 to age 21, when he graduated with high
honors. He majored in the field of temporal physics. Classes he took

Styre earned a doctorate in the advanced sciences from the academy upon
graduation for exceptional work. He does not, however, prefer being referred
to as "Doctor Styre." His reason for this is unknown.
Styre also independently studied the theory of dimensional transcendentalism
(bigger inside than out) while in the Academy. He conferred with a small
group of colleagues on this project.
While in the Academy, Styre was mainly a student. He did have several
personal diversions, however, and was known as quite the fun person around
his fellow science students. He also mastered the art of spoons playing
during his Academy tenure. Another subject studied by Styre was
self-defense, where he achieved a high rating in aikido, a form of unarmed
combat. Styre practices this aikido even today, and is deadly in
hand-to-hand combat. He is
also proficient in the usage of edged weapons, specifically the 14th century
Earth rapier, a light, thin-bladed sword.
After graduating the Academy, Styre's life seemed to be heading on a perfect
heading. It was almost ironic, then, that the night after his graduation,
his parents were killed before his eyes by a group of psychotic criminals.
This destroyed his life as it was at the time, and he became obsessed with
avenging his parents' death. To this end, he joined with a group of
quasi-mercenaries who claimed to be working for the Federation. This group,
who
referred to themselves only as the "Group," actually was working against the
Federation, and committed several lethal terrorist acts. Of course, Styre
did not know this at the time that he joined.
After joining the Group, Styre was genetically modified by them. They
performed dangerous yet successful experiments on him, and enhanced his
agility, perception, and sensitivity. The Group doctor performed a highly
dangerous modification of Styre's temporal lobe, activating the latent
telepathic genes found there in all humans. After these modifications, Styre
was a superhuman, with telepathic powers, heightened senses, and heightened
agility.
He already possessed a staggering intelligence, and already knew lethal
unarmed combat techniques, so he was a virtually unstoppable weapon.
The Group exploited Styre's new abilities for their own benefit. Styre was
used as a weapon, and he was forced to assassinate innocent Starfleet
officers and other Federation citizens. Of course, Styre was told that these
individuals were spies or traitors, and, as such, thought he was doing the
right thing.
After three years working with the Group, Styre discovered evidence that
revealed their true intentions. Appalled at what he had been doing, Styre
immediately contacted Starfleet with information. Unfortunately, Styre was
captured before Starfleet could trace his location. Styre spent the next
year in various prisons, being shipped around by the Group. After about a
year had passed, Styre was released by an unknown person, which allowed him
to
contact Starfleet. Starfleet attacked the Group base, and captured almost
all of the 7 Group members. The leader and one other individual (who Styre
claims was a kindhearted doctor, Lawrence Childs) escaped, and one of the
Group died in the attack. This left Styre and three Group members to be
captured.
After the three Group members were tried and sentenced to life imprisonment,
Styre was brought to trial. Though he had committed crimes worse than any
other Group member (known to Starfleet), Styre was instrumental in their
capture. Seeing both his brilliant mind, and his kind, just spirit, they
acquitted Styre of all charges and sent him on his way.
At age 25, Styre applied for placement aboard a starship. His application
was accepted, and he was assigned as Assistant Science Officer aboard the USS
Lothlorien, NCC-514251.
While aboard the Lothlorien (refitted, now the Lothlorien-A), Styre was
approached by a deity referring to itself as Time, one of the beings that
controls the fabric of the universe. Styre was asked to become a Champion of
Time, because of his just and kind spirit, and because of his drive to
forward the interests of what is right. He was endowed with certain powers
to further this job: a personal time-shield, which deflects any
object composed of matter if he chooses it; the ability to manipulate an
object's age (timeshock), and the ability to travel through the interstitial
gateways of Time that lie outside our universe. He only uses these powers
for serious purposes when it is necessary (in other words, I NEVER cheat
in-sim with them). When he uses these powers, his eyes, normally a deep
blue, change to slate gray.
PSYCHOLOGICAL PROFILE
Styre is a studious individual. The most important thing in his life is his
work, as he believes his life is a quest to atone for his past crimes. To
this end, Styre spends all of his free time doing science work or practicing
his self-defense. Occasionally one may find him having a glass of sparkling
apple cider in Sixteen Forward (the USS Lothlorien lounge), but he can
normally be found in the science labs, his office, or his quarters.
Styre is always immaculately dressed in his duty uniform. Rare are the
occasions when one sees him wearing anything else, even during off-duty
hours.
Styre is not oblivious to authority, but he is not of the variety of person
that snaps to attention at the very sight of a superior officer. He treats
his superiors with respect, but will not interrupt a vital experiment to
exchange (as he says) needless formalities.
Styre's personality is an enigma. Externally, he appears to be bitter,
sarcastic, and cynical. Though this is not his true attitude towards life,
he uses this form of humor as a way to relieve frustration. Styre is, in
truth, a virtuous and kind person, always willing to sacrifice himself to
forward the causes of justice. He is very strong-willed, and will never bend
to the will of others if he disagrees with them. Due to his past
experiences,
he hates death in any form, and will do everything in his power to prevent
death from occurring in any situation. The years he spent with the Group
severely damaged him emotionally, and one can see his deep inner pain simply
by gazing into his eyes.
His relatively few hobbies include Earth music of the 1960's, aikido
practice, and playing the spoons.

Settar has a slight history of skin problems due to his being
raised under the Sun of Vulcan. It presents no problem to his
ability to perform his duty.
Psychological: Several years ago Settar's biological sister was caught in a
fire (His own home) She was treated, but didn't recover from her burns. The
choice was between putting her in biological suspension (basically she would
be in a deep coma until she died of natural causes) and taking her off the
life support systems. Settar himself, deactivated her systems on Dec. 15. Due
to this he falls into an emotional slump around this time of
year (about one week before and after Dec. 15). Other than that he is highly
mentally able to perform his duty to the fullest
Psionic Abilities: Settar is only part Vulcan, but he does exhibit some
minor psionic abilities. He can for a mind meld with other beings for short
periods of time, he can communicate telepathically only with another full
telepathic being, and he is able to sense minor emotional change within an

up. At the age of 15 their house caught on fire due to faulty solar
insulation. T'Lannas was killed in the incident. Settar separated himself
from his family for a long time. He put himself totally into his school work
and joined Starfleet just to deal with the pain. After a while he accepted
his sister's death and moved on. He decided to stay in the academy, but first
he took a vacation home to Vulcan. Then he resumed his studies and graduated.
He is a very competent individual. His only problem is that he has secluded
himself from other people. He can't deal with death very easily.

Ken, like his "father" Trex, is a very caring person, but don't underestimate
the power of such a little person. He can get angered, and once that happens,

Biography
Born in Escalon, California, young Anthony Malloy knew Starfleet was for him.
His father is a Starfleet Engineer by the name of John Malloy, who's
stationed on the USS Oregon, and his sister Sara is a biochemical engineer
who works for a sub-facet of the Federation. His mother passed away before he
could remember, and she is rarely spoken of.

Personal Background: Born on the planet Trill in 2349. My mother Ezri Khan
was a joined Trill and his father Marek was a half Vulcan and half Trill.
Even though I was born on Trill, my family and I traveled a lot. My father a
freighter captain and my mother his first officer. By a young age I learned
to pilot a ship and by the age of 15 I was a part of my fathers crew as the
helm officer. At the age of 16 I applied at the Vulcan Science
Academy but was turned down and remained on my father's freighter where I
began research on Vulcan physcology and learned to use my telepathic powers.
Once I was 18 I moved back to Trill and lived with my aunt and uncle. Thats
when I decided to enter the Trill Iniate program. I spent two years studying
but was recjected in the final stages.
After being rejected I decided to take up another freighter job delivering
supplies to and from Trill. I was the ship's Cheif Conn officer and spent
the next year doing that until one day we got a Trill symbiont aboard to take
back to Trill. But on the way it became unstable and needed a host or it
would die. I immediatley volunteered, begin the most qualified one there.
Thats when I became the 5th and first male host to the Prax symbiont.
After begin joined I remained on the freighter a couple more months, until I
felt that I needed something more of a challenge. So I applied to Starfleet
Academy and was accepted.
Throughout the Academy, I kept good grades and made plenty of good friends.
I majored in Advanced Security training and minored in Physcology. I had
hopes of graduating first in my class but ended up at graduating 4th. Then
was posted aboard the USS Lothlorien as a Security Officer. Aftera couple of
months of serving I was promoted to Lieutenant, Jr. Grade and then to Acting
Chief of Security and Tactical.

Academy: Joined the Academy in 2321, showed aptitude as a weapons specialist,
some in engineering even though it was expected that he would end up the
other way with his older brother and parents being engineer (Brother was
tranferred to operations during Dominion war), and an even smaller aptitude
in the sciences, good leadership abilities but is willing to watch others be
promoted above him and do the Behind-the-scenes-work. (Which is a good thing
as he has gone 2 yrs without promotion.) Was commisioned early in 2322.
Assignments: Flew in Hawk squad for one month, was promoted to lt jg on the
USS Colombia after he was the only survivor in the first battle of against
the dominion. A new engineer got inot a fight with him and he was
transferred to the Marquesas and he later requested a spot on the Lothlorien
to be able to have more comabt experience which is what according to an add
for more security officers told him would happen.
Currently: He is assistant security and Tactical and is trying to join a
fighter sqaud on the Loth, hopes to make up for losing all but 3 wingmates in
the first battle. (The three who are alive were on shore leave during the
battle.)

Candace was born on Mars Colony to Jonathan and Karen Nehera. Candace
was discovered to have an unusually high IQ at age 2. When Candace was 3 her
sister Julia was born. Julia also turned out to have a high IQ The girls were
close. They helped each other on assignments and did everything together.
Candace never had many friends her age. Most of her older friends
got assignments on ships, when she was just getting into the Academy. Her
sister was her only friend until she met Katrina Myers, Kibby Jelk, and Klarg
Son of Kalar, who were young scholars like herself. They hung around together
and studied. Katrina and Candace even roomed together at the Academy for 2
years.
Candace Darign got her first ship assignment on the U.S.S. Eclipse
under Captain Shodan and Commander Zinnius. Her friend, and superior officer
was Lt. Sidney O'Connor. Her position was in the tactical department.
She decided to transfer to the U.S.S. Roddenberry in December of
9700.00. When she attempted to leave, she was so called "brainwashed" by
fellow crew member Lt. (JG) Jake Vargo. He eventually returned her to the
Roddenberry after holding her hostage for the night. He was sent to a high
security penal colony.
On Stardate 9803.03, Candace Nehera married fellow crew member
Lieutenant Commander Edward Darign. They were married by Captain Stuart
Scully, and she was given away by First Lieutenant Sidney O'Connor.
Candace was promoted in 9804 to First Lieutenant and was given the
post of the Chief Tactical Officer.
Candace and Ed's twin sons, D'Artagnan and Gattaca, were born on
Deep Space Nine on Stardate 9807.14.
On Stardate 9807.16, Candace Darign and her husband Lt. Commander
Edward Darign were hand picked to join an experimental ship and crew. The
ship was the U.S.S. Redemption NCC-980716 . Edward was given the position of
Captain, and Candace, Commander. They underwent two weeks of training with
the rest of the hand picked crew to prepare for dangerous missions dealing
with the Dominion war.
However, in the midst of the war, the Darigns' former enemy, Jake
Vargo, was sprung from prison and hired by the Dominion to take over the
Redemption. Somehow Jake and a Vorta (accompanied but a few hidden Dominion
ships) overtook the Redemption, and Gattaca Darign was killed.
After the incident was under control, and the Redemption freed
itself from it's captors, Candace became bitter and resentful. Her marriage
was on the rocks, and her hate for the Jem Hadar soldier that killed her
child was building. Edward Darign ordered Candace not to leave the ship, in
fear she would take matters into her own hands. She did. In fact, Commander
Candace Darign stole a shuttle and tracked down the Vorta in charge and the
Jem
Hadar soldier. She killed him, the Vorta and 3 other Jem Hadar before being
caught.
Candace was not freed until Kira Nerys and Garak freed Cardassia
(where Candace was being held) from the Dominion. During her imprisonment,
Candace gave birth to Eva Marie Darign.
When she was finally back in Starfleet custody, she was put on
trial for her disobedience of orders and stealing a shuttle. She was also
accused of attacking Edward Darign when it was revealed he had filed the
report about her disobeying orders.
Candace Darign was found guilty. She immediately divorced Edward,
and took her child, Eva back to Mars while she awaited reassignment. Candace
was soon demoted from Commander to First Lieutenant and reassigned to the
U.S.S. Lothlorien under long time friend, Quint Kivo*
* Special Note: It is rumored that Candace Darign introduced Doctor Mavelle
K. Rand and Quint Kivo at her own wedding to Edward Darign, and was a large
part of getting them together ;)
