combat training mixe. she blamed the starship's commander for not getting
her brother better medical attention, and she blamed herself for
letting him accept an assignment on a ship in the front lines. She was put
under the care of a respected psychologist who barely was able to keep her
from losing her mind and taught her how to be a counselor and help other
people instead of hating them, but the incident with her brother and her hate
twards the ships commander made her lose all respect for athority but she has
shown that she has a cool additude in a dangerous situation and will not
let her own problems get in the way or her judgement.

swordmaker on Andor. His mother, Tabessa, is a historian of some repute. His
two younger siblings have expressed a desire to enter Starfleet someday.

At an early age, Turvaine took an interest in medicine. He studied at the
planetary government-sponsored Andorian Medical Institute, whose applicants
must pass rigorous and highly competitive tests for admission. He earned his
MD studying under Dr. Tarkis, a leading expert in the treatment of radiation
poisoning. During his residency he participated with Tarkis in groundbreaking
studies involving the use of synthetic variants of hormones found in
species that are highly resistant to radiation. Turvaine finished second in

And to think that only a couple of months ago she could only hadle liquid

too. Just when she's ready to run into a table or other furniture, she
stops, puts her hand on it and turns around. Not once has she bumped her
head. I give her two months tops before she starts walking.

One thing she is fussing about are her gums. I think her teeth are starting

Background-
Anika was raised in Betazed, attended traditional Betazed schools. She
graduated from the university of Betazed. At the age of 19 during a trip with
her parents to the Santora colony, they were attacked be the Borg. Anika was
assimilated into the collective, her father was killed and her mother escaped
with the help f a resistance group. During the attack of a Borg ship that
entered Federation space,
many Borg were found in an escape pod ... most were severely injured and
being cut off from the collective died. Anika alone survived and thanks to
the Medical Staff on Starbase 2 who were able to reverse most of the Borg
assimilation she was able to attend Starfleet Academy. Anika excelled in her
studies at the academy graduating with honors.
While on the Hermes, Anika confronted a species known as the Kronucians.
They changed her DNA, and now she is part Kronucian. They were also the
species that inpregnated her with her daughter, Teena Anijh.

Personal Background

Kennedy is a no nonsense individual with a seriousness that many people took
as arrogance. Erica is extremely down to earth, though when her fears arise,
they can be quite dehabilitating.
Coming from a close knit family who experienced long distance relations,
Erica had no problem leaving her mother's ski resort in Colorado to follow
her brother and father in their pursuits of excitement. Once enrolled in
Starfleet Academy, she applied for and was accepted into the Special
Operations Group.
Two years into the program, a training mission went awry killing all but
three of the team on that mission. Kennedy immediately requested permission
to drop from the program and was granted her request.
Since then she has concentrated in Tactical and Security, achieving the
third highest average in her graduating class. Upon graduation she was
assigned to the USS Darmok where she kept a low profile.
Erica was selected for the Avenger mission for reasons unknown to her. She
regrets the promotion, wondering in some way if her brother, Commander
William Kennedy, had something to do with it.
After the Avenger mission, she was demoted for actions during the mission.
The remaining surviving officers were sworn to secrecy about the Avenger
mission with the threat of lifetime imprisonment.
Life on the Hermes took some adjusting to, but Erica is fitting in well.
Her relationship with Race Mannix is progressing, and she is serving with her
younger brother John Jr.

Cam has led a mostly normal life with both parents and her identical triplet
sisters Sarah and Dana, (both unjoined). They ended up in slightly more

8. Crystal Jade - Female, the first in her family to join with a symbiont.
After joining, her developing crush on Captain Scott Jeter blossomed into a
love affair that both tried to ignore, but soon became a very stable and
caring relationship. Life was pleasant and normal (for Nigala at any rate)
when Jeter was given command of ship requirign him to leave Nigala. The pair
planned to marry and have Jade transfer to Jeter's command, but the wedding
was interupted by an alien intruder. Further, Jade was seriously injured
during this encounter and was forced to return to Trill for treatment while
Jeter was ordered to begin his new assignment early. It was while Jade was
in a slight depression over her separation with Jeter that she received news
of her sisters' fatal shuttle accident. She plunged further into the
depression, but was finally dragged (screaming) out of it by two dear friends
-
Wil Shade and Ness Collins. Just as she settled in once again, she was
yanked off Nigala by a mandatory transfer to the USS Hermes. En route, Lady
Fate lured her shuttle craft into a plasma storm where she nearly lost her
life, if not for the fortune of Jeter's ship detecting her fading life signs.
After a few short days together, Jeter returned Jade to the Hermes where she
currently serves.

The Scott Family, unrelated to the famous Montgomery Scott (Chief Engineer

Jeff, a middle-child in a large family, spent his early childhood with his

Personal History:
Aido Rixx was born on Bolarus IX, but grew up on one of the planet's
moons. From age 2 and on, Aido and his family lived on various starships due
to his father's career. While his older brother, Kiido, longed to be like
their father and pursue a Starfleet career, Aido expressed interests in
science and archaeology (as did his mother). He and his younger brother,
Telor, moved back to Bolarus IX when she
was accepted a professorship at the Interstellar Sciences Institute.
When Aido was 16, he and his brother Telor were both seriously injured
in an archaeology expedition to Kelos V. Aido eventually recovered, but
Telor did not. As the Bolians have a principle of assisted suicide that
dates back to their middle ages, Telor asked Aido to end his suffering.
Aido, reluctant, obliged and "released" his brother from his physical
suffering.
Aido, convinced that he could have prevented the accident if he had
proper training and knowledge, decided to make a lifestyle/career change that
would provide him with discipline and structure.

Starfleet Academy History:
When he was old enough, he followed his brother Kiido to the Academy but
majored in sciences -- including stellar cartography, astrophysics and
exoarchaeology. He served as an Editor on the Academy Cadet Scientific
Journal, was a member of the Junior Archaeologists Club, was among the first
Academy students to sign up for and (barely) pass the Klingon Mok'bara gym
class and served on the Cadet Holiday Festivities Council two years in a
row.
Rixx spent a half-semester internship aboard the Oberth-class vessel, USS
Sagasu, until it was damaged in a severe ion storm. Though only an intern,
Rixx conceived the idea of running a passive imaging gamma interferometry
scan to help calibrate the navigational array for maneuvering through the
storm. The idea earned him recommendations from the Sagasu's captain and
chief science officer.
Rixx, being somewhat of an introvert, had only one true friend at the
Academy--a fellow classmate and Trill named Ezri Tigan who went on to become
an assistant counselor aboard the USS Destiny. She helped Rixx adjust to
life among humans and deal with the pressures and responsibilities of being a
future Starfleet officer.
As part of his final examinations, Rixx also successfully reproduced an
artificial black hole in the sciences lab.
Upon graduation from the Academy, Rixx's first assignment was aboard the
USS Hermes as a science officer.

Stardate: 9812.17 - first assignment by Commander Teena is to the Terran
Festivities Committee and placed in charge of decorating the lounge's tree

new Hermes. She has been feeling rather peculiar ever since that "visit"
they had on that hell planet.

her parents to the Santora colony, they were attacked be the Borg. Anika was

with the help f a resistance group. During the attack of a Borg ship that
entered Federation space,
many Borg were found in an escape pod ... most were severely injured and
being cut off from the collective died. Anika alone survived and thanks to

While on the Hermes, Anika confronted a species known as the Kronucians.

Facts about Hermats:
Hermats are both gender and enjoy relationships with both males and females
of other species. They can both impregnant a woman, and become pregnant by a
man. Since they are both gender, they use special words for pronouns. Hir
would be equal to her and his. S/he would be equal to he and she. There is
a counsel on the Hermat homeworld that approves of all language used by both
Hermats and used on Hermats. The most recent ruling from the counsel
is that a Hermat is no longer required to be called shir, but can be instead,
be called sir.
Hermats evolved from feline genetics, rather than primate genetics of the
human race. They have many feline traits, such as ears that can move to pick
up sound the best, eyesight that can adjust to the ambient light, keen sense
of smell, hearing, sight. They have retractable claws, keeping about an inch
out at all times, and sharp, preditory teeth. They have HIGHLY developed sex
drives and are VERY fertile. They have great agility, energy, and
strength, but most of that is deceptive because they have very small bones
and slender bodies. They are psi-null but have a racial instinct that some
might consider borderline psi. Given the chance, a Hermat will nap several
times a day, and some have been known to comment about Hermats that just like
a cat, they have that air of independence and that "I'll tolerate you as long

Hermats are not cats, they do not resemble cats as some of the felinoid

notice it. Most humans find Hermats confusing because they are both gender

Currently, s/he is in a highly agitated, but not incoherent, state. The
recent events on the station, and a few coming before docking at the station,
have left hir exhausted and confused. S/he is lacking in sleep, but fears
sleep as that is when attacks happen. In hir mind, s/he is trying to work
out just how all of this could have happened and what s/he can do to stop it.
So far, s/he doesn't have much to go on. And what s/he does, she is
keeping close in hir mind. Other than that, s/he's in fine health both
mentally and physically. In hir own mind, s/he would be doing much better

Personal Back ground Information

Ian was adopted shortly after the death of his parents when he was but five
Terran years of age (Note* every effort was made to find relatives on Romulas
that could care for the boy, none could be found. Little is known about his
real parents other than the fact that the Tal Shiar had been after the
child's father for some years.)
In order to give the child somewhat a normal childhood, Captain Kaill and his
wife Commander Kaill opted to care for the child after a year of Federation
red tape they were given permission to adopt Ian. They renamed him Ian
Michael Kaill, he was sent to some of the finest Schools on Earth. He
Graduated High school with high honors and was later excepted to Starfleet
Academy. He had a bad first year, his mother was given a commission of her
own, and
promoted to Captain, six months into her journey , transmissions from her
ship ceased and young Ian became somewhat withdrawn from his studies, thanks
to a caring Dean the boy graduated with top honors and was assigned to the
USS VENGEANCE.

Fst LTN Ian M. Kaill is charge with theft of a Starfleet shuttle and
disobeying a direct order to stand down. He is also charged with damage to
the inner and outer hull of the shuttle bay on board the USS FALCON.
He was placed under arrest and was given a medical and a psychological
Evaluation.
Medical findings state he was distressed and not in a mental state to make a
calm or rash decision. He had received word his fathers ship was destroyed
and that he was deceased, he asked permission to go on leave and was denied
by his captain. He later that evening overrode the security controls and
proceeded to steal the shuttle. He was detained and is now being charged.

Verdict ***

Reduction in rank to Ensign, confined to quarters unless on duty. No
drinking, no holodeck use and no away team missions.
He will be transferred to the USS Hermes on SD 012301 Under the Command of
Flt Cpt Hawk .

retired officer of Starfleet and trained her and her brothers in the ways of
the clan as well as Starfleet protocal.J'karrall wasn't a bad father but he
did drive his children to hard in pursuits he thought as fitting for a member
of the clan. Due to her fathers studies all three children learned earth
gymnastics as well as some of the martial arts, however he believed that the
Caitian ones were superior. At age 12 her father started grooming Maleen for
Starfleet originally as a Security officer, as most of the clan entered that
area of Starfleet. However the others he sought to help her training saw she
would do well in Engineering as well. She quickly learned and passed the
entrance exam at the age of 13. At the academy she adapted well to
working with humans and aliens. She originally went into security courses
following the footsteps of her father and brothers. She got pushed into
taking Engineering as well after she showed she could fix most anything that
broke in the combat training. She did however get in trouble a lot at the
academy for she was always snooping into stuff and accessing things she
wasn't suppose to..She graduated in the top quarter of her class and was
placed on
the Hermes to receive further training......
