Personal History

Sonja and Robert met on the Mars colony and during the early days of the
Federation, both were
part of the teraforming operations. Robert was second in command while Sonja
was in charge of
the bio-domes food supply.
Their paths crossed daily, mostly due to Roberts love for fresh air and green
land scape that he
missed on Earth. They were introduced by his commanding officer upon Sonja's
arrival and soon
their working relationship turned to friendship that grew to love. They were
married a year later
and made their home on the red planet.
Thomas was born on Mars some years after the Mars atmosphere had been
pronounced
breathable by the head of the teraforming department. Mars was no longer the
"Red Planet", but
now was lush and green and full of life. Thomas grew and learned fast, he
showed an aptitude
with machinery. At the age of 5, his father demanded that he visit his
relatives on Earth so he
would know first hand the history of his family from his Grandmother. Unable
to join in the trip
to Earth, Sonja remained behind to attend to her duties while Robert and
Thomas flew to meet
their destiny.
The trip to Earth was uneventful, and Thomas was fascinated by the
difference of gravity and
the oceans of Earth saying, " We have nothing like this at home, Grammy, and
it's so hard to pick
up my feet." Thomas listened intently as his Grandmother told him of the
history behind Northern
England, the castles, the kings and queens and how his family played a roll
in the ever changing
land scape that was England.
On their way home, Thomas and his father sang ballots that his mother had
taught his son to
while the time away at sublite, they would soon be home. As fate took an ugly
twist, the warp
nacelle exploded due to an undetected imbalance of antimatter in the core
hurling them toward
the sun. Frantically Robert tries to divert their course while he calls for
help, it is too late, the
closest ship though racing for them is too far away. With a glance at his
son, he knows of only
one way to save them. Robert moves his son to the back of the shuttle and
covers him with
blankets as he tells the passengers to protect him. Back at station he
relizes that the shuttle is
flying apart, they have broken the warp 9. He drives the remaining nacelle to
imbalance and sets
it off changing their course enough to sling them around the sun and into the
future . Panels
explode, debri flys, and Robert is killed by a piece of the helm console
striking him in the head.
Remarkably, the hull holds, they emerge 50 years later some 200 light years
away from Sector
001 directly into the path of a star ship.
Quickly assessing the situation and relizing the hull is breaking up,
Captain Rames of the USS
Lexington orders the transporters to lock on to the survivors on board alive
or not and beam them
directly to sickbay saving Thomas's and passengers' lives. As the
transporters engage, the shuttle
implodes. Half crazed with grief, Thomas tells the Doctor his tale. The
Doctor tries to comfort
him, she gives him a sedative and rocks him to sleep.
Looking up Thomas's records from Memory Alpha she finds that his mother is
still alive and
has remarried.

After reporting to the Captain, she contacts his mother and arranges for his
return.
Her new husband, an Admiral of the fleet, orders the Lexington to Sector 001
where it all began,
to return with honors the dead husband of his wife and reunite her with her
lost son.
His time with his mother was short, only 18 years, during which time they
became very close.
Thomas was found of his step-father, he and his mother and step father spent
a great deal of time
at the academy where Thomas became a pilot in his own rite following his
father's foot steps into
space. When his mother died, his step father agreed to his wish to become a
non-commissioned
officer and follow his dream of a command of a star ship. His mother would
never agree to this
for fear that she would only lose him again.
Thomas worked hard as an engineering officer, he got to know his ship well
and was a proven
asset to his shipmates. He applied to the Academy many times after his step
father died and was
finally accepted. He took every course he could and applied himself to every
class he was
allowed to take. During his off time he studied every aspect of star ship
operations. Graduating at
the top of his class, he requested the last thing his professors expected, to
be posted as a
transporter specialist.

Personal History:
Ehlana was born on the Klingon Homeworld. The only child of Bohkra, son of
Krel and T'liar. Ehlana's mother died shortly after she was born due to
complications from childbirth. Her father decided to raise her as a Klingon
and she wasn't given the oportunity to learn about the Vulcan or Betazed in
her. Ehlana was told that she was Vulcan as well as Betazed becuase she had
the Vulcan ears and her features aren't as harsh as a full blooded Klingon.
A Klingon wise woman helped her father raise her.
Ehlana respected this woman but was always asking her questions about her
mother. Her father had forbade the the woman to speak of her so Ehlana still
doesnt know that much about her. Ehlana grew up resenting her father for not
telling her about her mother and for not allowing her to learn more about
Vulacan and Betazed heritage. That is one reason that Ehlana decided to join
SFA. She didnt want to be in the Klingon Military. She wanted to be where
she could have a chance to study about Vulcans
and Betazeds. Ehlana is higly intellegent and joined SFA at age 19. Her
father doesnt like the fact that she is in Starfleet, but he hasn't disowned
her. During her time in Starfleet Academy she study several things but
decided that she wanted to be a counselor. As you will see from the list at
the bottom, the classes taken at SFA would allow her to be used in almost any
position.

Ehlana fights the warrior side of her. Although on several occasion at SFA
it was evident that she would be a great warrior. Ehlana is very quiet and
keeps to herself most of the time. She has learned more of the Vulcan ways
since she has been in Starfleet and tends to be logical sometimes but the
Klingon and Vulcan blood battle on most occasions.

:::pulls out a PADD and types::: Well here I am still in Sick Bay. I hope
Sandy finds out what is causing this weakness. I have to get back to the Hal
lab and get all the information that the QS and Nef. sensors got while we
were gone. I hope to find out what is out there. Then there was that Sphere
too. Maybe I can get some useful info on that . Oh, there is so much to do.
I'm glad I have help. I will need it now. I just hope.........boy I'm using
"hope" a lot. I must be tired. Maybe I best
just do this log later, when I'm stronger. At this point I feel that will
never happen, but I have faith in Sandy. She is a much better Doc. then I

I am pleased that my crew has exceded all requirements as a standard repair
crew. Under fire, against impossable odds, they performed their duties with
unpresidended speed and agility not only impressing me but the computer with
record repair time and uncomerable stability not only in the control systems
but in the structural integrity of the hull setting new records in repair
times for human maintained repairs in starfleet and in computer
simulation files. Though I am upset, I understand that my excellance in
performance of my duties lies solely on the performance of my crew, their
work is far more important than me own feelings on advancement in starfleet.
Today I was promoted to Chief Ensign, due inpart to my crew, Though I do
not like promotions, I accepted this one on the behalf of my crew.

Alexis was born the second of three children to Adm. Jonathan A. Perry
(retired) and Dr. Catherine Mosely Perry, M.D., British natives transplanted
to the USA. She grew up in Anchorage, Alaska, living for brief periods of
time in London, UK. She and her siblings, older sister Alysson and younger
brother Stephen, have subtle British accents picked up from their parents.
From a very early age Alexis has been fascinated with Science and the
molecular make-up of living things. At the age of 5 she helped her mother in
the lab to design experiments to screen culture samples for pathogens. She
enrolled in Starfleet Academy at 14 to take her mother's example as a healer,
to follow in her father's footsteps as a Starfleet officer, and to fulfill
her own dream of becoming a scientist.
Alexis has a young daughter, Emily Rhiannon, age 3, from a previous
relationship.

Alexis has a keen affinity for the arts and music, having played classical
piano since age 3. Along with her passion for science, she has fostered a

Transportation
There are 3 runabouts available to the USS Halifax. All are equipped
differently, and are tailor made for specific missions. Use of these craft
are restricted to CO's and/or XO's approval. The three Runabouts are:

USS Seine - Standard Runabout
NX Avery - The TICK Project Lead Ship
USS Baton Rouge - Captain's Runabout/Captain's Yacht (This runabout is a
modified runabout, with special docking ports along the lower saucer
section)

There are a total of 25 shuttle craft aboard the USS Halifax. In any given
situation, there are a minimum of 10 shuttles ready for immediate launch,
with another 10 shuttles in Launch Standby. The remaining 5 shuttle craft are
tailored for specific mission types, all of which are still classified.

Background
The USS Halifax incorporates several early concepts for the new Nova class
starship. Designed by a team of 62 Starfleet Engineers, the design team spent
17 months in Research and Development before construction began. The team,
headed by Commodore Nathaniel Martak, was composed of some of the most
distinguished research engineers in Starfleet.
Versatile. That describes the Halifax, which can make the transformation
from a scientific research and exploration vessel, to a fully armed,
battleship in approximately 14 hours at starbase, or 26 hours in the field.
Usually though, the Halifax is at a 50/50 split between exploration vessel
and fighter ship. Being more of an R&D ship, because of its versatility and
constant system upgrades, the Halifax is one of the most intricate ships in
the
fleet.
The specific nature of the Halifax's missions vary. Her primary mission is
to work in Bajoran space, attached loosely with DS9 and 10. Her mission
nature is split due to her split design. In cooperation with the Bajoran
Provisional Government, she has been assigned to work with the Bajorans and
the other governments in the area to help explore and chart the Gamma
Quadrant. Long range missions have yet to be established deep into the
Dominion territory, and exploration of the territories through the Wormhole
have been
limited. The Halifax also helps with Maquis situations to try to resolve the
disputes and work with all parties involved to resolve the situation and
return peace to the Bajoran territories

Refit
The USS Halifax was refitted at Starbase Everest beginning on stardate
9706.25. The Research and Development staff at Starbase Everest took the
original specifications and data on the Halifax, and rewrote them into this
knew format. After taking the old information and putting it into a new
form, new technology was added. Most of the technology below were take from
Everest's past R&D projects. Most systems are already in use in other
starships, with the exception of the intercept.

Modified Cloaking Device
This multi-functional cloaking device, which was developed from the
prototype first issued on the USS Excelsior, is one of the Halifax's greatest
defenses. The cloak, which has been developed to operate at more power
continuous levels has 2 modes. Unfortunately, the power drain on the power
reserves, and cloak emitter elements, make some cloaking limited.
Normal Cloak
This is the cloaking mode most common for the Halifax, and the mode at which
she operates at most of the time, even at normal cruise situations.
Phase Cloak
This cloaking device can allow a ship to cloak and conduct a phase shift to
pass through solid matter using the same theories in transporter technology.
The phase cloaking will allow a starship to "hide" within solid matter-be it
an asteroid, moon, or other dead planetoid. While extremely experimental,
this cloaking mode is partially available under certain circumstances and

Intercept
The intercept is a modified torpedo, with all destructive material removed.
It is replaced with a device that detects the small warp field of a torpedo,
and locks on. All torpedoes have a warp field handed off to it by the
launcher. Along with the warp field, the approximate course of the incoming
torpedo is handed off to the torpedo in the form of a warp field data coding,
but is translated into data the intercept can read, much like a
modem. The device which locks on to the warp field will verify the course of
the incoming projectile, and lock on. Once it is locked on, it cannot alter.
If the approximated course was incorrect, the intercept will miss, and may
hit the attacking ship. Since the destructive material is removed to
minimize the explosion, the intercept cannot damage the attacker if it misses
the torpedo.

Ablative Shields
The Halifax is equipped with the new impact-sensitive ablative shielding,
recently upgraded to improve system endurance. This system is comprised of 97
small emitters placed over the outer hull which focus secondary energy at the
point of impact of a foreign object. When a hostile energy burst is detected
approaching an area of the hull, the emitters and sensor systems calculate
the point of impact and focus resistant energy in that location, effectively
increasing shield strength at that point by approximately 175% and
reducing the force of impact by nearly 64%. The system is able to handle up
to 8 simultaneous hits for up to three minutes, after which the system has
shown to loose effectiveness in computer models. The system has shown to be
only partially effective against torpedo-type weapons, reducing the yield of
these weapons to
approximately 78% of maximum.

Phaser Panels
The phaser panel is a modified hull plate, made up of an 8m x 8m crystal
similar to the ones used in segmented phasers, which is put in place of the
original hull plate.
Targanide crystals (being used for the warp drive), were discovered by
FsLtObrien to have the ability to absorb and release large amounts of energy
faster, and, with the aid of Federation technology, can also contain the
energy longer. They also distribute energy faster than LiCu518 (crystal used
in normal phasers).
Using a tied in system with the targeting computer and 150 small power
distribution nodes, the panel has the ability to fire from every point on the
panel, and on any angle. The distribution nodes are located on the back of
the crystal panel, and determine the best location for the beam to be emitted
from, depending on the target. It also controls the width and strength of
the phaser emitted from that location. The Targanide crystal also has the
same paranygen animide for structional surface protection used by normal
segmented phasers.
The control pad on the tactical panel on the bridge would allow the user to
quickly select the length, power, and strength of the beam. If the situation
arises, the panel can be modified to fire a .75 second burst from the entire
panel (an 8m x 8m beam), called a phaser burst. The downside is it will
burn out the distribution nodes. The upside is the phaser panel is much
easier to repair, since it is comprised of only one piece of crystal,
instead of many segments, and the distribution nodes would have an auto
repair program in place.
Activation/Fire Process
Upon recieving the command to fire, the EPS submaster flow regulator manages
the energetic plasma powering the phaser panel, through the distribution
nodes. Distribution response is time is 0.0075, an improvement of 0.0025.
The magnetic switching gates were taken away because it would be too power
costly to have them coordinate with the fire control of each single
distribution node.

Targanide Warp Drive

The Targanide Warp Coil Assembly uses only two coils instead of the standard
multiple coils. The assembly uses two elliptical coils (port and starboard)
set in a figure eight pattern with a gap of 3.27 meters between them. This
gap is necessary for the correct formation of the warp field. Because this
assembly uses only two coils the overall mass of the drive is reduces by
approximately 68%.
The warp field created by the coils is 52% more compact then the standard
field. This field increases the structural integrity of the ship by 30%. This
will reduce the need of SIF generators being on line during warp flight.
Another advantage is that this drive has a .23 second quicker acceleration
than standard drive. At warp 9 the energy efficiency of the drive is 93%.
While at warp speed the warp field has been shown to absorb sensor reading
thus
reducing the ships' sensor image by 48%.

Targanide Accelerator Core

This core is completely separate from the main warp core and has no contact
with the matter antimatter streams. The Targanide Core is composed of a solid
mass of Targanide crystal with a series of injectors and distribution nodes
to control and redirect the plasma flow. The plasma stream is injected
directly into the core where it is amplified and distributed through out the
ship.

This core has two main functions:

1. When the main warp core is functioning and the Accelerator Core is fully
charged it will provide a 124% increase in energy output.

2. During main core shut down or when it is damaged, the fully charged
Accelerator Core will provide enough power to operate the Targanide drive at
Warp 1 for 45 minutes, or Warp 2 for 15 minutes. It will also provide enough
power to operate all emergency ship system for an equal amount of time at
warp speed, or emergency systems for 3 hours at non-warp speeds.

WISCRS
WISCRS (Wandering Intensified Steller Cartography Research Sensors) are a
network of miniature probes surrounding the Halifax during space travel. Each
probe is warp capable, having a linked navigational computer with the helm
console on the bridge, allowing the WISCRS to travel with the Halifax
wherever it goes.
The WISCRS have the ability to travel at much higher warp speeds using
several miniature tractor beams holding them within the warp field during
warp. During this time, the sensors are deactivated to conserve energy.
When the Halifax drops out of warp, the tractor beams disengage, allowing the
WISCRS to "wonder", within a certain radius. Computerized sensors and
linkage systems prevent the WISCRS from leaving this radius.
The WISCRS use basically the same sensory systems as probes. All data
recieved from the WISCRS are transmitted to Deck 22, where it is compiled and
recorded. The data is then transferred to the science consoles on the
bridge, and is also accessible from Tactical, Helm, and Operations.
Upon the activation of the cloak, the WISCRS automatically travel to a safe
position close to the hull where the cloaking field will effectivelly mask
them. Traveling cloaked at warp is difficult, since the tractor beams must
be engaged, which prevents complete concealment. Due to advanced technology,
the WISCRS have the ability to continue to transmit data to the Halifax
during cloak at impulse, and low warp speeds. Although they sensors aren't
as clear during cloak as the main sensor beam would be, it still provides
better imaging than the secondary sensor array.
The WISCRS transmit data to the starship by sending out tiny bursts of data
instead of a constant stream to the Halifax's sensors, instead of its
communication system.
A small antimatter charge installed in the WISCRS will prevent it from being
captured and analyzed. The charge can be set to detonate by coded signal, at
a preset time, or when a certain event occurs.

All in all, the USS Halifax will prove herself in time to be one of the more
powerful and valuable ships in the fleet. Even though the Halifax has its
drawbacks, it still is powerful, branishing some of the most state of the art
equipment, software, and technology.

PERSONAL HISTORY

Aarek Dakor was born on the Trill Homeworld on the Southern Continent in
the Provence of Galasta. Born to Enid and Gustav Dakor, Aarek was the
youngest of two children, two years younger than his brother, Sarat. Aarek
lived with his family until the age of 12, when, during a Romulan raid as
punishment for the alliance to the Federation, his parents and brother were
killed.
Aarek wandered for three years, living with miscaleaneous relatives
until an arrest at the age of 15 commited Aarek to civil service and
education through the symbiosis commitee as rehabilitationn. Aarek excelled
at the Commitee, and at the age 17, he recieved the Dax-A symbiont, sibling
to the more known Dax-B symbiont (who later the symbionnts name was channged
to Dakor, Aareks former name) who is currently hosted in Jadzia. Based on
over 300
years of experience, Aarek enntered the Academy (Starfleet) and excelled in
studies, graduating in two years.

Aarek had the basic symbiont education at the symbiosis training, and
had recieved the standard education all Trill adolecents recieve when in
their youth. Aarek them moved to the academy, where he spent two years before

CAREER HISTORY

Aarek was posted to his first ship, The USS Stealth, onn SD 9509.00 as
an assistant science officer under the direct comand of Comodore Narik Varel,
LtCdr Josh Knight, and FstLt Foxx. Here, he preformed to expectation, working
over the required ammounts. He designed the TICK project (Can be found in USF
R & D), and on SD 9510.00 was promoted to Lieutenant Junior Grade. He also
recieved the duties of Shuttle Operations manager.
Aarek continued to work at full potential, workingn and constantly
upgrading shuttle and runnabout operationns systems. On SD 9512.00, Aarek was
promoted to full Lieutenant, after exhibiting all the qualities, and for the
system upgrades he made to the Shuttle systems hardware and software.
Aarek worked constantly at his duties, and for exceptional work and
actions above and beyonnd the call of duty, Aarek was promoted to First
Lieutenant on SD 9602.18. He chose to remain on the USS Stealth, becoming the
new Helmsman on the USS Stealth, along with becoming Yeoman on the USS
Stealth. Aarek chose to remain on the USS Stealth at this time, prefering to
remain as helmsman, while turning down a Chief Engineer's posting on the USS
DarkPath.
On SD 9603.19, Aarek was promoted to Lieutenant Commander for actions
above and beyond the call of duty, namely, the delivery of the Current
Stealth Executive Officers Child under adverse connditions. Aarek was given
the duties of Second Officer, after exhibiting all the qualities thereof.
Upon the unnfortunate Death of Commannder Dar Mstrad, Aarek was
considered for the Executive Officers postingn, and on SD 9605.25, after
exhibiting all the qualities of an executive officer, was promoted to First
officer onboard the USS Stealth.

PERSONALITY INFORMATION

Aarek is fun loving, and adventerous, yet cautious. Being a Trill, the
combined feelings of a 27 year old vivrant young individual, with the
experiences and feelings of over 300 years of experience. He enjoys music,
theater and literature of all species, physical sports of outdoor nature, and
adventerous sports.
Aarek gets along well with others, he is personable, and has no problems
relating to others. Aarek is very quiet and reserved at times, but can show
his outspoken, straightforward side at any moment. Aarek's last physcological
prophile reveals that he is of sound mind. He is very intelectual, but
prefers to live life on the basis of 300 years of experience. Very rarely
does he rely on facts or starfleet "by the book" living. He has two severe
fears, snakes and other reptillian and obsidial creatures, and heights.

OTHER INFORMATION

During a mission of the Stealth around SD 9601.00, Aarek Dakor was
involved in an accident while the USS Stealth was dementional shifting
through a worm hole. Aarek Dakor's mind and feelings were trannsfered to the
Body Of Counselor Tyven Mihalje Blake. Mr. Blake was a more than gifted
telepath, and while his minnd and essence were in Aarek's body, began to
attempt to use his telepathic abilities. This devloped some long dormant
brain functions
in Mr. Dakor, and upon return to their prespective bodies, Aarek was left
with minimal telepathy, which has been devloping ever since. At last test on
SD 9605.07, he had almost full telepathic abilities, with uncontroled
attempts of teleconesis.
During mission activities on the USS Halifax around stardate 9705.00,
Captain Aarek Dakor was abducted by the Founders in the Gamma quadrant and
was held in captivity for two months. During this time, his Symbiont was
removed for four days, and joined with the great link and other Founders
(shapeshifters). During this time, the Founders made it possible to keep
Dakor alive (Usually, hosts die without the symbiont in a matter of a few
hours).
This encounter left sever emotional and psychological scars on him, which
have been since resolved during a three month leave of absence on Trill.

Personal History:
Tabor Solo was born on earth as the first El-Aurian/ Human born child. His
birth was very celebrated by his fathers people as one of great Joy. This
birth signified the continuation of the El-Aurian people after the Borg
holocaust. His father was a refuge aboard the Lakoul a freighter saved by
Captain James T. Kirk. When the freighter docked at Starbase 150, Solon met
his future wife right as he came through the airlock. Lieutenant Christina
Harrison was working temporary assignment to Starfleet Medical on the
Starbase to aid in the refuge placement program. They met there and were
married within 6 months. Tabor Solo was their first child and the firstborn
offspring of an El-Aurian and a Human. After having 9 children together
Christina, then a Lt. Commander, was reported dead at her posting on the USS
Enterprise, NCC-1701-C. His father was a large influence on his life and
tried to help
him through many rough times in his adolescence. At age 18 he left home and
became a wanderer. His first place of venture was to the newly opened Klingon
Empire. He became one of the first Terrans ever to be allowed to live on
Qo’onos. His first month on the Klingon Homeworld was very difficult. He was
harassed and attacked on many occasions. One night he was walking home when
he saw five Kilngons attacking a female. There were several bodyguards
strewn across the pavement that had already fallen trying to rescue the
woman. Solo jumped into the fight and killed four of the five assailants. The
fifth he let live to send a message to whomever it was who had the cowardice
to send 5 klingons to kill a woman. Solo then found out that he had saved the
Madame Chancellor of the High Council, the Daughter of the Legendary Gorkin,
founder of the Khitomer Peace Treaty. Because of his bravery the Lady
Gorkin inducted him within her own family and had him taught by the best
tutors of the Empire the way of the Klingon Warrior. He became an expert in
all forms of Klingon Combat. His name among the Klingons was T’Kar. With the
slow demise of the family of Gorkin, Solo a.k.a. T’Kar, is one of the only
members of the house of Gorkin left within the Empire. According to law he
will someday be able to sit on the Klingon High Council but at the current
time that is still debatable considering the opposition that will exist. It
is rumored, however, that Solo possesses the Battleth of Gorkin, one of the
finest weapons ever made, but that has never been proven. Fabled to have been
used by the Brother of Kahless. Solo has also lived on Bajor, the DMZ,
Romulus, Vulcan and Betazed.

Stardate 9712.03

The Halifax and the Griffen have entered the Gamma quadrant and have been
given the assignment of destroying a Jem'Haddar training facility. I have
been assigned to the Griffen as its Ops/Engineering officer. I have never
had to take two posts at once before but the Hal is short of qualified
crewmembers. We have sent a small squadron of Tornado Class fighters.
Although pilots were needed I opted to remain aboard the Griffen despite my
previous
experience with the MAC Fighters on the Stealth because the Griffens crew is
small and we need all the help we can get. The Squadron was sent to do
reconassence only and not to engage the enemy. We await their return.

Personal History:

Shortly After birth on the Betazoid Colony of Jethro IV, Vaalen moved with
his parents aboard the USS Discovery NCC-1875, a science vessel. Over the
next fifteen years of his life he moved around with one parent or another
from ship to ship. After the discovery of the Bajoran Wormhole, his father
was assigned Chief of Secuirity on the USS Grissom NCC 638-C, and his mother
was given command of the Grissom and ordered to procede through the Wormhole,
and study the space on the other side, as well as the wormhole itself. When
Vaalen was twenty-one earth years old the Grissom was attacked by what was
later found to be a Dominion ship. The Jem'hadar boarded the ship, and
Vaalen watched his parents brutal deaths. He was restrained by the Executive
Officer of the Grissom and brought to a shuttle craft, along with the other
sixteen survivors and managed to make it back through the wormhole. For
several months Vaalen was very distraught, and eventually entered Starfleet
Academy at the age of twenty-two. There he was a slightly above average
student overall, but excelled primarily in tactical classes and simulations.
He was also very strong, even for a half-Klingon, and he did extremely well
in martial arts classes. He was also extremely quiet and reserved for a part
Klingon, never lashing out at classmates or experiencing the short temper
for which Klingons are so well known. In a simulator exercise in his third
year he was in command of a ship as well as a portion of a starfleet task
force sent to engage the Dominion. After a short time the fleet commander's
ship was destoryed, and Vaalen took command of the fleet. Out gunned and
seriously out numbered, Vaalen led his fleet to uterly destroy the Dominion
fleet, and he also led a boarding party on to the Jem'hadar flagship, during
which he slaughtered every Jem'hadar who crossed his path, although he was
eventually shot by one of them, he had shown how much rage he was capable of.
These outbursts only reacurred in other simulations involving the Dominion.
About this time his grades begin to improve, and he eventually graduated in
the top third of his class. Shortly thereafter he was assigned as Assistant
Secuirity Officer aboard the USS Halifax.

Psychological Profile:

Due to his Kilingon heritage, Vaalen has a is succeptable to violent
outbursts of anger and agression. In most cases, however, Vaalen has shown
sucess in supressing his violent instincts, and it should not be considered a
detraction from his ability to perform his duties, with one exeption. In
academy simulatons involving the Jem'hadar, Vaalen has been overcome by his
anger, and acts with a rage that easily surpassesl the level experienced by
an
average Kilingon engaged in battle. These reactions are brought on by his
parents death at the hands of a Jem'hadar baording party that attacked the
USS Grissom on stardate 9112.30. Even during these instances, Vaalen has
shown that this rage heightens his insticts in battle, perticularly in
hand-to-hand combat, and he should not be relieved from duty based on these
previous observations. Vaalen should be required to visit with a counselor,
if
available, during any extended mission involving the Jem'hadar or the
Dominion. Vaalen is classified as a Level 3 telepath, resulting from his 1/4
Betazoid heritage. Vaalen is unable to sence anything but the strongest of
thought signals, and cannot sence anything from any races commonly
encountered by starfleet. He is capable of telepathic communication,
although it is generally limited to other telepaths, and is difficult for him
to establish a
telepathic link.

Alexis has a keen affinity for the arts and music, having played classical

Personal History:
Tobar Solo was born on earth as the first El-Aurian/ Human born child. His
birth was very celebrated by his fathers people as one of great Joy. This
birth signified the continuation of the El-Aurian people after the Borg
holocaust. His father was a refuge aboard the Lakoul a freighter saved by
Captain James T. Kirk. When the freighter docked at Starbase 150, Solon met
his future wife right as he came through the airlock. Lieutenant Christina
Harrison was working temporary assignment to Starfleet Medical on the
Starbase to aid in the refuge placement program. They met there and were
married within 6 months. Tobar Solo was their first child and the firstborn
offspring of an El-Aurian and a Human. After having 9 children together
Christina, then a Lt. Commander, was reported dead at her posting on the USS
Enterprise, NCC-1701-C. His father was a large influence on his life and
tried to help
him through many rough times in his adolescence. At age 18 he left home and
became a wanderer. His first place of venture was to the newly opened Klingon
Empire. He became one of the first Terrans ever to be allowed to live on
Qo’onos. His first month on the Klingon Homeworld was very difficult. He was
harassed and attacked on many occasions. One night he was walking home when
he saw five Kilngons attacking a female. There were several bodyguards
strewn across the pavement that had already fallen trying to rescue the
woman. Solo jumped into the fight and killed four of the five assailants. The
fifth he let live to send a message to whomever it was who had the cowardice
to send 5 klingons to kill a woman. Solo then found out that he had saved the
Chancellor of the High Council, the Daughter of the Legendary Gorkin, founder
of the Khitomer Peace Treaty. Because of his bravery the Lady Azet Bour
inducted him within her own family and had him taught by the best tutors of
the Empire the way of the Klingon Warrior. He became an expert in all forms
of Klingon Combat. His name among the Klingons was T’Kar. With the slow
demise of the family of Gorkin, Solo a.k.a. T’Kar, is one of the only members
of the house of Gorkin left within the Empire. According to law he will
someday be able to sit on the Klingon High Council but at the current time
that
is still debatable considering the opposition that will exist. It is rumored,
however, that Solo has within his possession the Bat’tleh of Gorkin, a weapon
fabled to have been used by the Brother of Kahless and is one of the finest
weapons ever made, but his possession of the weapon has never been proven.
Solo has also lived on Bajor, the DMZ, Romulus, Vulcan and Betazed.

Alexis was born the second of three children to Adm. Jonathan A. Perry
(retired) and Dr. Catherine Mosely Perry, M.D., British natives transplanted
to the USA. She grew up in Anchorage, Alaska, living for brief periods of
time in London, UK. She and her siblings, older sister Alysson and younger
brother Stephen, have subtle British accents picked up from their parents.
From a very early age Alexis has been fascinated with Science and the
molecular make-up of living things. At the age of 5 she helped her mother in
the lab to design experiments to screen culture samples for pathogens. She
enrolled in Starfleet Academy at 14 to take her mother's example as a healer,
to follow in her father's footsteps as a Starfleet officer, and to fulfill
her own dream of becoming a scientist.
She has a young daughter, Emily Rhiannon, age 3, from a previous
relationship.

Since being posted to the USS Halifax, Alexis has had a successful and
fulfilling career, as a Starfleet officer and a crewmember. She takes great
delight in her work and has found her duties and life aboard the starship to
be a challenge and an enjoyable, rewarding endeavor. She aspires to offer
her fullest potential to her duties to ship, crew, and captain, as well as to
Starfleet and the Federation.

General Information:
Alexis has a keen affinity for the arts and music, having played classical
piano since age 3. Along with her passion for science, she has fostered a
serious pursuit of scholarly excellence in the art of music, having completed
several short apprenticeships under renowned classical musicians Pietro
Zoskevilieich and Dandrovej Sondrii. She enjoys Terran Impressionist painting
and classic literature of all origins.
She is a great outdoorswoman, at home in the temperate wildernesses of
Earth's North American continent. She loves swimming, backpacking, camping,
climbing, and hiking, especially nature walks. She has a great knowledge of,
respect, and appreciation for nature, which she often shares with her young
daughter.

She has a warm, pleasant manner, and conducts herself openly to her friends,
but can appear shy and reserved in the presense of less familiar

Personal History------------

Early years
Dan was born in the old capital of Bajor, Redas. His mother was a highly
spritual Bajoran and Dan’s father was the Federation ambassador to Bajor. In
2344 Dan’s father became the first Federation negotiator on Bajor to try to
end the Cardassian occupation. He was winning diplomatic ground rapidly, and
he had forced the Cardassians to either chose between Bajor or a war with the
Federation (which ultimatly turned out to happen anyway).
Unfortuantly, the true nature of the Cardassians was at the time, somewhat
misunderstood.
One night, several commandos from the Obsidian order conducted a raid on the
Federation Embassy. The attack was made to look like a raid by Bajoran
freedom fighters. Dan was three at the time. He awoke that night as his
mother was carrying him into the underground tunnels. His fathers fate
remains unknown to this day.
The Federation believed that it was an attack by the Bajorans and proceeded
to pull all Federation diplomats out of the area. This was the end of a
Federation presence on Bajor until the end of the occupation.
Dan and his mother were forced to retreat to remote outposts in Rekor
province used by the Bajoran resistance. As a young child he remembered
several Bajorans teaching him how to use a disrupter when he was five. He
and his mother settled down with a specific resistance cell, and helped in
any and all ways possible, culminating with Dan joining the resistance when
he was 13.
His guerilla career was shortlived, as in 2358 a covert Federation rescue
mission to find the supposed escaped family of Ambassador Langan, uncovered
Dan and his mother. They were brought to Earth and given full asylum. They
eventually found a house in New Berlin, on Earth’s moon. Having spent
extremely limited time in schools, he was thought to be somewhat behind in
High School. But, he applied himself, and, chanelling the tutoring sessions
his
mother gave him when they were in the dark and damp caves, converted to a
“home”, in the Regona mountains.
His finishing grades at Buzz Aldrin High were average, and he decided to
take the Starfleet entrance exam. He just barely sqeaked by, entering the
academy in 2361. He graduated in the middle of his class with Special
Mention in Solar Dynamics and Particle Physics.
Dan graduated as a science officer, although he privatly enjoyed a good
clean barrel roll fest in a shuttle whenever he could. As Ensign his first
assignment was Assistant Science Officer aboard the USS Columbia (NCC-89901).
He participated in many interesting missions (including the infamous Dayton
Nebula fiasco), and was decorated twice.
But, unfortunately, the Columbia was destroyed by six renegade Cardassian
warships and the entire crew was transferred aboard the new Columbia, a
Nimitz class ship (NCC-101744). Here, Dan got used to the Nimitz class many
times by the hard way. The chief engineer spent much free time fixing some
of his sensor goofs. But that soon passed, and he reluctantly welcomed his
new department head, Lt. Cdr. Grace Torres. She gave Dan many lectures he
will certainly never forget on subjects from sensor operation to the chain of
command. He still has the bruises. On both Columbias, Dan played key roles
in saving the ship 4 1/2 times.
Some of Dan’s last missions aboard the Columbia include defending Starbase
Everest against a renewed Borg invasion, and a diplomatic mission to Aldea,
which is really where he grew not to be afraid of doing whatever was
necessary to protect his ship at the Helm spot. Several crewmates, however
think that Dan’s maneuvers in times of crises, are a bit disconcerting (they
puked).
After a short while on the Columbia-A, Dan was transferred to the USS
Halifax (NX-65056) in a officer exchange program.
Dan has had several visits over time, from the “Cheddar Collective” which he
and his pets were attacked against several blocks of Borgified cheese.
However, the Borg-offshoot collective was destroyed when Dan killed their
queen, the Cheese Queen. Unfortunatly, the Cheddar work in mysterious ways.
He was recently transported into the Gamma Quadrant where he was forced to
escape with his cell mate, a Jem’Hadar. Many new interesting missions are no
doubt, yet to come.
