Starfleet Profile

Kyrax has had no formal Starfleet education or training. Having never
attended the
Academy, Starfleet was reluctant to Post him to their one of their finest
ships, the
Federation. But none the less, Kyrax's life experience training gives him
more than
adequate knolowdge and experience to be posted as Chief Operations Officer.

Kyrax is believed to be several hundred years old, and has believed to have
traveled our galaxy extensively, and possible have experiences life in our
neighboring galaxy, Andromeda. Being a member of the mysterious El-Aurian
race, his people were scattered all across the galaxy when their home world
and star system was destroyed by the Borg.

Kyrax's family became wanderers, and upon a visit to Earth recently, Kyrax
was recruited by Admiral Steven Marxx, who was strongly impressed by his
performance at a new science symposium. Admiral Marxx petitioned to implement
an active duty record for Kyrax, and place him into active duty. With no
formal training, he was shunned down three times by the Starfleet Admirals
board before it was approved on the fourth try with a 5 to 4 margin.

Kyrax refuses tests of any kind, medical, psychological, or otherwise. Proven
an
exceptional telepath, Kyrax's other abilities are still forthcoming to
Starfleet. Kyrax
continually denys having any abilities beyond telepathy, but is has been for
him to have master knolowdge of the Natural world. However, Starfleet
believes that he has abilities beyond simple telepathy, and on several times
he has been seen to have telekinetic abilities upon other abilities as well.
When questioned directly, he gives no comment say for the fact that he is a
telepath.

A psychological profile is unavailable because of the fact he will not
consent to one. Local observation however proves Kyrax to be fun-loving,
outgoing, and extremely well liked by all. Always willing to take chances,
Kyrax has often times gotten himself in trouble. Starfleet phschologists

Background:
Dalinn was born Born during the Cardassian Occupation in 2350. She grew up
in the Singha refugee camp but was taken to an interrogation center because
her father had been charged with crimes he didn't commit. Her parents were
beaten to death and she and her sister were forced to watch as their parents
were killed. They stayed in the center as servants for three years and
finally got a group together and escaped.
She was eight years old when she joined the resistance, taking aimless jobs
before being accepted in to a resistance cell. She was later taken to prison
for three years and questioned for the sabotage of an Ore Processing Unit on
Terok Nor. When she was let out the occupation was nearly over and she got
in two more battles in terrorism before the Ilvian Proclamation was signed.
She left Bajor at the end of the Occupation in 2368.

Education:
She entered Starfleet Academy, and took mostly Security training and some
Command and Engineering. She graduated sixth in her class with honors in
Security.

Starfleet History:
She was stationed on the USS Windsor before the ship went out of commision
in 2373. She was also the Chief of Security on the USS Odyssey before being
transfered to the Federation. She was demoted on stardate 9701.24 for
talking while at attention and doing other unacceptable things.
She was allowed to stay on the Federation as an alternative of transfering,

Pre-Academy Background
Dalia was born on Betazed to Kestra and Erik Jahan, who already had a 2

brought her to Earth and the Academy. She entered into the Academy at age
22, but had to leave it after becoming pregnant. She had become involved
with a young officer by the name of Chakotay.
Dalia left the Academy and gave birth to twins: a girl, IIeigha, and a
boy, Jacen. But the girl died at birth, leaving Dalia with an infant son to
raise herself. But she couldn't raise a child and attend Academy, and
Chakotay was busy "galavanting across the galaxy" as she is on record as
saying. So she sent Jacen to live with her sister on Betazed.

Academy Background
Dalia returned to the Academy but not to science and engineering. She
instead went into psychology. Intense sudy in language, telepathy, and human
behavior honed her counselors skills to perfection.
She also found talent in piloting. Dalia was noted for her outstanding
flying capabilities. When offering Dalia her choise of assignments,
Starfleet asked her to consider flying in the elite planetary guard. But she
refused and was instead assigned to a small outpost as counselor after her
graduation.

Dalia moved from outpost to outpost, attempting to remain in contact with

History

I come from a planet in Romulan space I am unsure of the name. My mother
and
father died before I met them. I was raised as a slave to a Romulan known to
me as Master, he never told me his real name. Although he raised me as one
of his slaves he still taught me how to operate a shuttlecraft and about warp
propulsion. He also taught me about battle and how to use various weapons
and about tactical operations.

I could not escape though there was a protective shield around his land
there was no way out. He was well know throught the Romulan empire so if i
did escape they would find me. But I managed to attach a cloaking device on
the shuttlecraft and found a way to open the shields for a split second and I
escaped. I seeked refuge in the Federation and I recieved it. I joined
Starfleet Academy and studied Advanced warp propulsion, Advanced tactical
operation, Advanced security operations, Diplomacy and Command.

This Romulan had some sort of device, I am unsure what it was but it seemed
to cause some sort of rift like a portal. I had never gone into that portal
so i do not know where it lead. There was also some sort of device that
Master had used on me. It caused pain in any place he wanted it to but it
wasn't physical pain. Somehow this device could effect my soul or something
of the sort. When he used it on me I only felt pain in my mind to an extent.

History
I was a command level officer in the Antarain Star Defence the Military
division of the Antarain Empire. I was in my quaters on Caltos IV one of our
colonies on the outskirts of the Calto system. When the early warning system
went off most of the outpost was asleep. I looked over the scanner report it
showed that there was a large fleet almost two-hundred ships closing on the
outpost. The scanner systems were unable to identify the type of vessel
because they ships were puting out some kind of ionic
interferance that caused our scanners but return nothing but jiberish was
the night duty officer so when the alarm went off I contacted the commander
we quickly took the outpost to full alert. I contacted the nearest vessel
but they were in the Arcos system sixteen lightyears away. Several minutes
later the fleet cleared the outer mine feild. The Commander opened a hailing
channel but there was no answer. As the fleet cleared the second mine feild
they came within scanning range of the targeting
scanners I was on the console and quickly scanned them I was shocked by the
readings. The readings were a thing of myth not something that you see in
real life but there they were ships straight out of some of the oldest
Antarain stories heading towards us. There was nothing strange about the
ships themselves except that they were exceptionally small and the shape
a....................perfect cube.
The stories must have been true two thousand years before the Antarain people
must have split into two seperate groups one devoted to peace and the other
to conquering the galaxy. And now two thousand years later here they were
bearing down on our outpost. We fired all the weapons we had and by the time
the fleet had reached orbit they had only 63 ships remaining. Apparently in
the last two malineum their technology had advanced very little. If we had
had the ability to manevur I have no doubt they
we would have won the battle. But as we were a small outpost our defences
were quickly overun and they started beaming down troops it was terrible
dozens were slaughtered in hand to hand combat inculding the commander. Then
suddenly it stoped and all the invaders beamed up. I called the control room
and they told me that our reinforcements had just entered the system. By the
time I got back to the control room the star destoyers were in orbit. I
talked the flagship's commander and we decided the
best thing to do would be to beam up the populance and abandon the outpost.
The next the fleet set out for the the home world to dicuss teh situain with
command. Three other outposts had also been attacked two of them had been
totally destoyed with no survivors. The other had beaten off the attackers
it had been a military research station with the best weapons and defences.
As best we could tell there were at least six hundred hostile warships
remaining and that didn't even inculde those that
hadn't been used in the attacks on the outposts. We were 3 hours out of
Antaria when we recived a transmission directed at the entire fleet. Antaria
had been attacked the entire fleet was ordered to return home to help fight.
The message had been cryptic and had not said how many ships there were as we
drew within scanner range we saw the answer there were thousands of Borg
ships. As we watched there Borg ships swarmed around the two dozen Star
Destroyers the Destroyers were holding there own but
for every borg ship destroyed ten more rushed in to take it's place. As we
rushed into the fray the ship began to shudder around us the Borg bombarding
us with there weapons the sheilds abosobed the weapons blasts with little
damage it was the dozens of Borg ships slamming into the sheilds that was

the other Antarain ships to comunacate with it we decided that it was
apparent that we would eventually be destroyed so we decided that one ship
would break away from the pack and head back to Antaria to try to rescue as
many people as we could. The commander didn't want to
retreat from the battle some he left me in command and transported over to
the other ship. It took sevral hours to fight our way free of the battle
once we got away from the battle we high-tailed it over to Antaria. We
beamed down to the planet and started organizing the evacuation eight hours
later the Borg had broken though the last lines of defence they were in orbit
and beaming down. As I stood near the spaceport a Borg appeared not ten feet
from me I shot it down instantly. We rushed though the
halls of the spaceport clearing everyone out. Then we ran into the woods
near the base towards the waiting shuttle the Borg were only a few hundred
feet behind us. I stopped and fired one last round at our prusuers. We
jumped onto the last shuttle as it was taking off. A few minutes later it
docked with the star destroyer the only one left.

PRE-ACADEMY BACKGROUND
Bailey Jackson was born on Earth to her Terran father and half Betazoid
mother. Her mother died in childbirth, so Bailey never knew her. Her father
raised her and she had a normal, happy childhood. When she was in her teens,
her father was killed and Bailey was on her own. She got a job working as a
receptionist for a group of psychologists which is how she got interested in
that field.

Bailey became very close with Dr. Samuel Jackson, who was interning at the
medical center. They eventually married and she quit her job to stay at home
and raise their children. When the children were a little older, her husband
encouraged her to go back to school and get her medical and psychology
degrees, which she did. She set up her own private practice specializing in
family counseling. She worked out of her home so that she could still be
there if her own children needed her.

One day, they planned a family vacation on Risa. Because Bailey had patients
to see, she arranged for Sam and the children to go ahead without her. She
planned to meet them there later. But that never happened. The ship they
had taken to Risa simply disappeared without a trace. The entire crew and
passengers were missing and no one had a clue what happened to them.

STARFLEET ACADEMY
After her family disappeared, Bailey shut down her practice. She just
couldn't counsel the families anymore. Everytime she saw the other people's
children, she would think of her own. A friend told her about a special
program that Starfleet had for people with psychology or medical degrees or
experience. At that time, Starfleet had a shortage of counselors and doctors
and they were trying to encourage people to join. They were offering a
special accelerated course through the Academy with a
guaranteed posting on a ship or starbase as a counselor or doctor.

Bailey decided to join for two reasons. First, she wanted to get away from
Earth and all the memories that were there. Second, she thought she might be
able to one day find out what happened to her husband and children. She
managed to get through the Academy in two years and has received her first
posting to the U.S.S. Federation.

Romulan History:

to have defected due to high levels of corruption in the
Tal'Shehar. His life may have been in danger also.

Starfleet History: Jertak defected to the USF in the incident
portrayed in "Face of the Enemy" he proceeded to star base 299
for questioning.
3 months later he became a federation citizen, and was accepted
Starfleet academy over the protest of several members of
Starfleet command. He currently has at least 3 bounties on his
head from various sources. Including the Romulan empire. He was
kidnaped by the Grilk along with Ambassador Anders, but was
later rescued by the USS federation. he has recently been
investigating the Murder of senator Qui'linn & Proconsul Neral
of the Romulan empire. Captain Szak has been arrested for the
crimes, but JAW has continued to probe deeper into Romulan
files.

Portia Quodlibet died when Rogue and Edenic were four, and their aunt,
Astandra Kachina of Betazed served as their maternal figure. Rogue and
Edenic were raised on their father's ships until they were fourteen, when
they were sent to the Quodlibet family estates in California so they
could attend a "normal" high school, Senoma Academy. Rogue pursued her love

Rogue's twin brother, Edenic, graduated at age 22, served on the USS
Enterprise-D, where he acheived high honors for his work. Shortly before a

re-instated to Starfleet and is currently assigned as Assistant Security
aboard the USS Federation.

During graduate study, Rogue was roommates at the Academy with Sydney
T'Nemelt (FstLt, retired), who has recently accepted a teaching position with
the Sumarian Sciences Academy after retiring from duty on the USS Hermes.

While the USS Lothlorien was stationed near Starbase 7 close to the
Neutral Zone for the Romulan Accords (SD9608-9609), Rogue was called into
action by Starfleet Intelligence. ** Starfleet Classified, Level VI security
clearance only ** She was called into duty again SD9610.10, and has
currently been transferred to the USS Federation as Chief Medical Officer.
When the Chief of Security post became available on the USS Federation,
she asked to receive the posting, as was approved. She was installed as CSEC

The photon torpedoes, called Quantum Torpedos are installed on the
Federation have the same dimensions of the previous versions of photon
torpedoes, but the weight has decreased from 247.5 kilograms to 234.5
kilograms, utilizing a new propulsion system that decreases weight, yet
increases maximum effective tactical range to 5,000,000 kilometers. Accuracy
is speculated to have collision within
0.75 meters of the true target or closer.

USS Federation Vessel Description

The USS Federation has spent a few years in service for Starfleet.
Originally commissioned near SD 9610.15, she was one of the finest vessels
that the USF had to offer. Since that time the Federation has taken a
beating defending the rights and ideals that Starfleet stands for.
The USS Federation was refitted by 9701.12, at the shipyards hear Earth.
The Federation has a special feature in it's saucer section. When the ship
separates the saucer is capable of warp speeds. The Federation's computers
were upgraded and her systems revamped to accomodate the changes in
technology. The Federation now has a chance to prove herself again as the
best ship in the fleet

Ariell has an identical twin named Ahrele. Ariell is older than her
twin by six minutes, and she has never let Ahrele forget it. Ariell is the
daughter of Darnell and Janaye Johannson. She has one older brother named
Duncan.
Ariell's parents always encouraged their children to go into whatever
career they wanted to. Duncan is an ambassador for their home planet of
Betazed. Darnell, her father, is a lawyer. Her mother, Janaye, is a
botonist. Her sister Ahrele is currently in Starfleet as the First Officer
of the USS Darmok, under the command of Fleet Captain Tnagra.

STARFLEET TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE
Ariell entered Starfleet Academy about the same time that her sister was
accepted to the Vulcan Science Academy. Ariell took a great diversity of
classes at the Academy. She minored in the sciences, foreign languages, as
well as, away team and other survival skills. She majored in psychology and
medicine, receiving her degrees in both. Although she can easily learn and
comprehend the technical applications, she prefers to work with people. She
chose to be a counselor when she graduated four
years later.

POST ACADEMY TRAINING AND POSTINGS
USS Empath and Cardassian Imprisionment
After graduating, she was posted to a science vessel near the
Cardassian/Federation border. She reamined there for a year until her ship
was attacked by Cardassians after returning from shore leave. Those that
survived the attack were taking to a Cardassian prision camp. All of her
fellow crewmates died either from their injuries or Cardassian torture
practices. Ariell was the only to survive the four and a half year
imprisionment.
While in prision she honed her survival skills. Prisioners came and
went. Some never left and many were killed. During her stay one prisioner
caught her attention. He seemed to be a little telepathic. After a while of
trying to communicate with him she was able to break into his mind. His mind
had always been concentrating on someone at a telepathic level, but it took
her a long time to finally break through. When Ariell did break through she
found out that his name was Thomas Riker. They
began communicating constantly. Having each other to communicate with might
be the only reason that they were both able to survive. About a year and a
half before their "escape/release", they were put in cells that were next to
each other. They had already begun to fall in love, in a way, before they
were moved. Upon finding that a rock in the wall was loose, they removed it
so they could hold hands through the wall to comfort each other.
Four and a half years after she was first imprisioned, the Cardassian
military government was overthrown. They were rescued by some of Tom's past
Maquis assosciates, in particular a man named Joseph Becker. Ariell wanted
to return to Starfleet and her family. Thomas said that he couldn't try to
go back to Starfleet. He had aready gotten himself in to deep with the
Maquis. He returned to the Maquis. They did not see or contact each other
again for almost two years.

USS Carolina
Ariell was the Chief of Security onboard the USS Carolina for six months
until she was able to arrange a transfer to the USS Lothlorien with her
sister, Ahrele.

USS Lothlorien
Ariell was posted to the USS Lothlorien as the Ship's Counselor. By the
time she transferred to the USS Odyssey, she had achieved the rank of
Lieutenant Commander. Ariell was given the postion of Second Officer and
Counselor shortly before Captain Scott was transferred to Starfleet.

USS Odyssey.
Ariell transferred to the USS Odyssey under Captain Klindt and Commander
Mason. She was assigned to Mission Specialist and then further assigned to
the dual position of Assistant Chief Science Officer under First Lieutenant
Damara.

USS Federation
Ariell was assigned to the USS Federation as soon as she was promoted to
the rank of Commander. She was happy to find out that she would again see
Commodore Michael Knight. Ariell had met Fleet Captain Knight on Earth
suring her last shoreleave before being posted to the Lothlorien.
Ariell is enthusiastic, and she has high expectations for her new crew.
She knows that they shall be a joy to serve with. She is already beginning
to feel welcome.
Ariell became the Federation's Captain when Commodore Knight resigned
his commission to return to Earth, his home.

SPECIAL ABILITIES
Ariell and her sister have a strong telepathic link. When Ariell was in
prision all of her family thought she was dead. All of her family that is
except her sister. Ahrele could feel her sister's presence. They can feel
each other presence and intense feeligs even when they are far apart. When
they are nearer to each other they can tell exactly what the other person is
thinking or doing. When Ahrele went to the Vulcan Science Academy she
learned a mind controlling technique that allows the two
of them to block each other out for a while. This allows each of them to
have a little privacy.
Ariell also has a somewhat intuned alarm system to real alcohol. When
she was at the academy someone switched her sythehol for real alcohol and got
her very drunk. She has never forgotten the difference in taste since then.
It is useless to try to switch her drinks because she will be able to tell in
an instant.

PROMOTIONS AND OTHER HONORS
USS Lothlorien
Ariell transferred to the Lothlorien with the rank of LTJG on or about
9604.19. She was promoted to a full lieutenat on 9605.03. Since her
transfer to the Lothlorien she has been the ship's counselor helping out in
other area when necessary to keep the ship and its crew running.
Occasionally she has used her medical skills and knowledge to assist the
Chief Medical Ofiicer when he is in need of assistance.
She was promoted to First Lieutenant on 9606.21. Unfortunately she was
not able to attend this promotion ceremony due to the fact that she had been
kidnaped by the Maquis. USF Scott sent her the pip in a torpedo casing.
However it didn't reach her. The torpedo casing was destroyed before the pip
could reach her. When she returns from her imprisonment she hopes to get her
pip in person.
On SD 9606.28 Ariell was rescued from her Maquis captivity. Commander
Tnagra personally handed her the pip that she had earned the week before.
She was proud for such an honor.
On SD 9606.28 the whole crew including FsLtAriell was awarded the Bronze
Star by Starfleet for Meritorious Conduct in the face of Danger and the
return of the notorious Maquis Captain Joseph Becker. Ariell was happy to be
able to share this joyous moment with all of her fellow crew men even though
the death of all the crew men onboard the Bird of Prey troubled her.
On SD 9608.30 Ariell was promoted to Second Officer.
On SD 9609.06 Ariell was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant Commander.

USS Odyssey
On SD 9609.28 Lieutenant Commander Ariell transferred to the USS
Odyssey. She was given the position of Mission Specialist and Assistant
Chief Science Officer.

USS Federation
On SD 9610.19 Ariell was promoted to the rank of Commander
On SD 9610.20 Ariell was transferred to the USS Federation, and she
arrived at her new posting.
On SD 9612.08 Ariell was promoted to the rank of Captain and given
command of the USS Federation and its crew.

FAMILY AND FRIENDS
Thomas and the Twins
Ariell became engaged to Thomas Riker on SD 9606.17. No one onboard the
ship aside from her sister and Lieutenant Rogue know of this. Although Tom
was a Maquis Captain, they still planned on getting married when he was able
to leave the Maquis. His ship was destroyed by the Lothlorien on SD 9606.28,
but fortunately for Ariell, Tom escaped with a fellow Lothlorien's crew
member's brother in an escape pod.
Ariell was supposed to be married to Thomas Riker. Tom was supposed to
meet Ariell on Bajor before her transfer to the USS Odyssey to be married.
For some reason he did not show. Ariell is concerned as to why he wasn't
there. She has a set of twins, one boy and one girl. Their names are Thomas
William and Shahrele Trista.
On SD 9608.30 Ariell gave birth to a pair of twins. Ariell had found
out that she was pregnant only two months before. The Lothlorien encountered
a time rift anamoly that aged the Ariell's babies. They were born and aged
to five years old before the Lothlorien was able to leave the rift area.
When the Lothlorien left the time anamoly everyone returned to their normal
age. This meant that Ariell's babies returned to that of 5 month pre-birth
babies. They were placed in incubators to try to save
their lives.
On SD 9609.21 one of Ariell's shipmates, First Lieutenant Damara, was
able to use BORG technology to save Ariell's babies and age them to that of a
one year old. Doctor Chid helped to save the twins lives by keeping them
alive and assisting in the aging process.
When the twins were brought onobard the USS Federation, Ariell's father,
Darnell brought news that the papers concerning her marriage to Tom went
through. For all purposes Tom and Ariell are married. The papers listed to
Starfleet state that Ariell Bethany Johannson is married to Thomas William
Riker.

Ahrele's History
Ariell and her sister both transferred aboard the USS Lothlorien
together when they were LTJG's. Ariell is very close to her sister except
for any information about her stay in the Cardassian prision. She had been
unable to share any of the details of her relationship with Thomas Riker, due
to the fact that Ahrele's fiance was killed whe he joined the Maquis. Ariell
was afraid to tell her sister because she knows that Ahrele will
automatically hate Tom just because he is a member of the Maquis.
This caused different amounts of friction for them while they served aboard
the Lothlorien together.
Ariell did finally confide in her sister her love for Thomas Riker.
When Ariell and Ahrele were forced to return to Betazed because Ariell had
contracted a rare genetic disease, Ahrele met and confronted Thomas Riker.
Both Tom and Ahrele survived the encounter. Ahrele decided that Ariell's
happiness in the situation was all that mattered. Ariell was relieved that
the two had been able to come to an understanding.
Ahrele transferred to the USS Columbia on SD 9609.15. Ariell is very
saddened by this. Ariell will never be complete without her sister.

Background:
Dalinn was born born during the Cardassian Occupation of Bajor in the
Terran year of 2349. She was born in the Singha refugee camp but was taken to

charged with crimes he didn't commit. Her parents were executed and she and
her sister were forced to watch as their parents were killed. They stayed in
the center as servants for three years and finally got a group together and
escaped.
She was eight years old when she joined the resistance and remained loyal
to the cell until she was arrested for sabotage when she was visiting Terok
Nor. She was then taken to prison for two years and questioned for sabotage.
When she was let out the occupation she **Deleted** **Deleted** **Deleted**
before the Ilvian Proclamation was signed.
She left Bajor at the end of the Occupation in 2368.

on a "low-tech" planet. Has an affinity for many older-style Human weapons,

this Conflict, Haven was mortally wounded and lying near death on the
battlefield.

In what can only be described as a miracle, at the time, he was visited by a
seemingly onmipotent being who restored Haven's health and vigor. But not
without a price to be paid. A sybiotic alien antibody was entered into his
bloodstream and now exists within him on a cellular level. It has greatly
enhanced his healing abilites on a grand scale and sharply prevents his mind
from being probed by most telepaths.

He was honorably discharged upon cessation of hostilities to pursue Starfleet
career at 17 under protest of his family. Haven removed himself from his
family structure under an Andorian ritual.

STARFLEET TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:

Studies include matter conversion, philosophy, Terran History. Considered to
be exceptionally intelligent, finishing in the top two percent of his
graduating class, Haven has high proficiency in both Tactical and Operations
and earned a secondary rating in Engineering.

POST-ACADEMY TRAINING:

Student of Vulcan Philosophy under Ambassador T'Pring on Vulcan for one year.
Headed archaeological dig on the distant world of Cheron. Assistant to
T'Pring at Tholian/Andorian Peace Accords conference on Earth. Returned to

STARFLEET HISTORY:

First assigned to USS Enterprise under recommendation of Commander William T.
Riker. Served for three years aboard Enterprise until court martial due to
incidents occurring during a since classified mission to Mutara sector. This
mission has since been named the "Genesis Factor". Due to complications
resulting from the aforementioned mission, disciplinary action was taken
against Haven.

He was charged with assaulting a superior officer and disobeying direct
orders from a superior officer. Rather than be relieved of his duties as a
Starfleet officer, Haven accepted reduction in rank as penalty for his
actions and was reduced to the rank of Ensign. Haven believed that his
actions were justified, but honorably accepted the judgment of Captain Jean
Luc Picard and continues to be a productive member of Starfleet.

Haven next served for some time aboard the USS Federation. As Assistant
Chief Engineer, his Engineering skills were upgraded and put to extensive use
abourd that vessel which seemed to fall to constant attack. Growing
dissatisfied with life there, he transferred to Starbase 12 to serve
temporarily as Chief of Security there. He was contacted by Captain Richard
Semino and was asked to join him aboard his ship, a science vessel, USS
Hermes, as Chief Tactical Officer.

(Continued From Part One)

Aboard the Hermes, Haven's life experiences went from everyday life aboard a
Starship, to the most life-threatening of situations. Once, he nearly
sacrificed his own life to deter the destructive, murderous power of a
xenomorphic organism that killed and devoured several crewmen. It was here
that several Starfleet Officers were witness to one of the most bizarre
healing methods ever demonstrated.

The symbiote whipped about Haven in thick, black tendrils and covered him
completely as like a caterpillar coccooning itself. Emerging from the
chrysalis some 48 hours later, Haven stood completely healed and totally
renewed. No record of the symbiote antibody's actions were made under direct
orders of Commander Kyla Raven. The two were romantically involved and Haven
has shown Raven the alien symbiote only once, asking her not to reveal to
anyone his special abilities.

Ship's Counselor Bethany Duncan found it odd that although (like the Ferengi)
most Andorians were difficult to read empatically, she could get no reading
from Haven whatsoever. This would be consistent with the antibody's ability
to screen out most prying minds. To this date, it is not known the limits of
this symbiotic antibody or whether or not it can be removed from Haven. One
such attempt was unsuccessful.

Jar'Tan came in contact with another Andorian who has changed the way he
looks at lfe and life around him. Thala, who is blind, but sees through
means of a sensor net she wears, sees things in ways Haven never could have.
The adopted daughter of his former colleague, Selar, came to visit Haven as
her handicap would not permit her to visit the world of her parents origin,
Andor. His task was to give Thala experiences and education among her own
kind.

Thala and Haven have grown together, both as individuals, and as friends.
Although she has confessed her love for him, Haven is hesitant to reciprocate
the woman's feelings for fear of allowing something to happen to her.
Recently though, the two are nearly always seen together. Although she is
his student and his closest friend, there remains a part of himself that
won't allow himself to love her as anything more than a best friend.

After serving his Captain and crew unswervingly for some time, Haven left the
Hermes to assist on the designs of a new class of Starship being called
Infinity Class. His Engineering and Tactical knowledge were invaluable in
this ship's design and will be a major factor in the construction of
Starfleet's newest breed of ship for the dawn of the 25th Century.

After spending some time away from Starfleet and the day to day stresses
induced, Haven recently spent time on Vulcan with Thala and her mother Selar.
He visited Earth once more with Thala and then took to the stars once more
for his home on Andor to visit his dying father. While there, several
incidents arose involving both Jar'Tan and Thala. As a result, he has since
given up his familial legacy and the world of his birth, swearing never to
return.

In between assignments, Haven was asked to re-join the crew of the new
Enterprise by Captain Jean Luc Picard as the new Chief of Security and
Tactical. Due to the events that took place on Andor, his departure window
was missed and another officer was assigned the post, much to both Haven's
and Picard's disappointment.

Haven is currently serving amongst the crew of the USS Federation once more
under Captain Ariell Johanson-Riker as Operations Manager.

As with most Andorians, Haven is an above average hand to hand combatant, and
a savage but skilled warrior. He is proficient with all forms of weapons,
and can defend himself with precision accuracy should the cause arise. His
collection of ancient weapons was shown prominently on Andor in the Museum of
Sh'ras, but has since been removed and is now displayed on Earth at San
Francisco's Starfleet Academy.

PERSONALITY PROFILE:

Jar'Tan Haven is a soft-spoken, quiet and reflective individual. He is an
insightful, adaptable, dependable self-starter with the ability to work
independently. He has also proven himself to be a resourceful,
detail-oriented problem solver. In recent events, he placed his own life in
peril in order to restore a damaged Warp drive system, nearly sacrificing his
life in the process. He seems to put the ship and crew above his own
personal needs. This seems to be a trait inherent in his race.

While he tends to shun most ship activities and festivities, he can often be
found harnessing his fighting skills in one of the gymnasiums. He also
spends much of his free time alone in his quarters, or with Thala. He is an
even-tempered individual who is not difficult to approach, but still remains
somewhat standoffish. It should be noted that Haven is not a person to be
angered. Andorians, as soft-spoken as they may be, are ruthless debaters and
are historically known to never back down from an
argument or a fight.

SPECIES ATTRIBUTES

Andorians are a blue-skinned race of beings with thick white hair and blue or
violet eyes. Their most prominent feature are their anntennae that rest atop
their heads. Their antennae are used mostly for audio/visual and enhance
both senses greatly. They are the only insectoid/humanoid species in the
Federation. They have a tough exoskeleton-like exterior that makes them
resistant to most hand-to-hand blows and low settings of phasers. The
Andorian warrior heritage is reputable for being the most
savage and brutal warriors, quite possibly surpassing the Klingons.

Andorian mating habits are somewhat unusual, as seem to be a most propagative
race. The females are considered women by the age of eight and are ready for
marriage and breeding. On Andor it is not uncommon for a young female to
marry an older male. Andorians marry and breed very young. The women are
fertile and ready for marriage by the age of 8, and would look like a child
of that age by Terran standards.

They have had several civil wars in their ancient and recent past. It is
only recently that the Andorians have found some sense of what can only be
described as a ceccession of all hostilities. The tensions are ever high
amongst their people, but it is the hope of the Federation that true peace is
found on their world.

On that hot and arid planet, the handicapped are made sport of in the streets
or used solely for breeding. As archaic and horrible as these customs may
sound, there are those on Andor that feel that those ways are part of a
bygone era and should be abolished. And in time, that may happen.

Dakota Quodlibet met and married Portia Kachina while pursuing graduate
studies at Starfleet. Rogue and Edenic were born after Quodlibet had made
promotion to First Lieutenant, after which time Portia developed cancer.
Portia Quodlibet died when Rogue and Edenic were four, and their aunt,
Astandra Kachina of Betazed served as their maternal figure. Rogue and
Edenic were raised on their father's ships until they were fourteen, when
they were sent to the Quodlibet family estates in California so they
could attend a "normal" high school, Senoma Academy. Rogue pursued her love
of flying anything and everything in high school but was also involved in the
arts. They entered Starfleet Academy together at 18. Rogue pursued a wide
variety of interests, and continued with graduate study. She enjoys flying,
photography, gardening, art, sports and traveling, "even the old-fashioned
way." She has also pursued studies in the martial arts, especially t'ai chi.

Rogue's twin brother, Edenic, graduated at age 22, served on the USS
Enterprise-D, where he acheived high honors for his work. Shortly before a
posting to the USS Voyager, he took honorable discharge <<Starfleet
Classified * Bravo level clearance >> from Starfleet. Edenic was recently
re-instated to Starfleet and is currently assigned as Assistant Security
aboard the USS Federation.

During graduate study, Rogue was roommates at the Academy with Sydney
T'Nemelt (FstLt, retired), who has recently accepted a teaching position with
the Sumarian Sciences Academy after retiring from duty on the USS Hermes.

While the USS Lothlorien was stationed near Starbase 7 close to the
Neutral Zone for the Romulan Accords (SD9608-9609), Rogue was called into
action by Starfleet Intelligence. ** Starfleet Classified, Level VI security
clearance only ** She was called into duty again SD9610.10, and, after that
assignment was complete, was transferred to the USS Federation as Chief
Medical Officer. She was transferred back into the Security department as
Chief Security Officer on SD9701.26 and continues to serve in
that capacity.

always wished to join Star Fleet, he had been inspired by Star Fleets
exploration of the Galaxy, he has studies all of the ships that have ever
been in sevice in Star Fleet. He visited Deep Space Nine and almost went
inro the Bajoran Militia, but never did. He then traveled the Earth to
complete his studies and join Star Fleet Acadamy.

Acadamy Record:

While in the Acadamy he spent 4 years studying the regualr course, he had
at first wanted to be a Helm Officer, but he had wanted a post at DS9, so he
abandond that idea, he then continued his studies in the feild of
Engineering, he nver got his post at DS9. He had an exeptional stay at the
Acadamy, and when he had left after a 6 year stay, he left to have a career
in Star Fleet.

Romulan History:
Little is known about his history in the Tal'Shehar, it is
rumored he led a surprise assault on the Dominion 25 years
before their more widely known discovery, little else is known.
When at the rank of colonel he functioned as deputy director of
external affairs; the division assigned to deal with the
military and foreign governments and the interaction of the
above parties.
His reason for defection are not quite clear, while he
claims to have defected due to high levels of corruption in the
Tal'Shehar. His life may have been in danger also.

Starfleet History:
Jertak defected to the USF in the incident portrayed in
"Face of the Enemy" he proceeded to star base 299 for
questioning.
3 months later he became a federation citizen, and was
accepted Starfleet academy over the protest of several members
of Starfleet command. He currently has at least 5 bounties on
his head from various sources. Including the Romulan empire &
Dominion. He was kidnaped by the Grilk along with Ambassador
Anders, but was later rescued by the USS federation. During
that mission he discovered some data crystals of unknown
origin, which were later stolen. He has recently been
investigating the murder of senator Qui'linn & Proconsul Neral
of the Romulan empire. Captain Szak has been arrested for the
crimes, but JAW has continued to probe deeper into Romulan
files. & discovered a Dominion plot of unknown aims.
He was charged with treason in connection with the
kidnaping of First Lt Maarek. but was acquitted when Shado aka
Etmar'Obt confessed and faked a suicide attempt. he then
defeated Etmar'Obt, the Changeling assassin & thief of the
data crystals. And stopped a battle fleet attacking DS9 with
the help of a newly acquired cloak on the Federation.
