Duty Log for Ensign AdmETSIV

Sfter a long time of doing paper work I was invited by FsLtCassel to join
him/her on an scientific study of some ruins. After beaming down there and
walking a few kilometers I picked up a small trap that was put there hundreds
of years ago. I warned the away team and our security officer disabled the
mine for us without any injury. As of now I am on the planet doing studies
of ancient ruins.

Today was rather boring but when I was invited to join an away team
operation it got interesting. I was also awarded the Purple Heart of the
Federation at the end of the SIM for being injured during a battle with the
Breen.

PERSONAL BACKGROUND

Personality: SM is very forthright, not much for protocol. He seems to have
a problem with authority, though people who capture his loyalty retain it, no
matter what. Rax is a maverick who tends to bend his mission orders just
short of breaking them, but accomplishes the mission goals just the same.

**Subject Male is unusually strong, and unlike most Romulan/Vulcan fleet

7905.2: Born to Patrick and Mary JoHanson. <<not my real birthdate>>
His early life has nothing to note, except the constant absence of his
father, who is generally away on business trips. Laun develops at a slightly
faster than normal pace mentally, average physically.
8403.1: Starts schooling at Schooling Institution of Dublin, in Ireland.
He started basic schooling at the age of five. As his social skills began
to develop, he become a fairly cheery, comedical young man. He recieved
several warnings for being the "class clown," because of it. When he was
twelve, he was placed in a double accelerated learning class. Most believed
his quick wit not only served him in the playing area, but helped him learn
extremely fast--two grades faster to be exact. His most concentrated
abilites
occur in the areas of crtical thinking and logics, and showed talent in
applying those abilites in tactical games. Once again, his father is
consistantly gone, and his mother raises him.
9110.9: Mother develops unkown cardiac problems.
Laun was shocked, and plummeted from an "A" student to failing constantly
during this point in his life. He was 13 when his mother died on SD9111.13.
After some quick therapy, Laun was nearly back to normal: he was still as
bright and cheery, but now he developed a sarcastic tone for defense of his
personal self. Most likely which he learned from his father.
9012.29: Taken from Dublin, and is schooled on father's merchant ships.
With his mother now dead, his father was forced into actually being a
father, and that didn't work out. After a few months of this, his father
gave up, and bitterness was the result.
9107.6: Adopted by grandparents from Father.
His grandparents took over the job of raising Laun, and they did it the
typical Irish sense. He learned an excellent work ethic, but was also able
to keep that firy spirit. This time is what made a lot of him what he is
today.
9406.16: Graduates basic schooling at Schooling Institution of Dublin.
During his final years he elected to study more of the area of tactical
knowledge and history, but he also enjoyed many writing courses, and general
ethics.

9409.1: Accepted to Starfleet Academy and starts classes immediatley.
When he was sixteen, right after basic schooling, he applied to Starfleet
Academy and was accepted. He majored in Tactical Sciences, and Starship
Tactical Operations. He minored in navigation. He also took clases on
debating, ethics, and philosphy. He did extremely well overall , and had an
GPA of 3.85 or above every year.
His major clubs were the philosophers forum, shuttle racing--which he
lettered in, and writers group; there he learned his hobby of ink and paper
writing.
His relationship with his father continued to be worse than touchy.
9809.28: Graduates Starfleet Academy, with full honors, 19th in class.
His class of 500, graduated 19th in his class due to his excellent GPA. He
also was given full honors. He was promoted the rank of ensign, and served as
an assistant to Admiral Goodhue, the Admiral of Tactics in Starfleet, for two
months.
