FAMILY HISTORY
Mother is Romulan, Father is Terran and betazoid. My parents met when my
father was on a mission for the Federation. My mother was disillusioned with
the Romulan empire and when my father asked her to come away with him, she
agreed. Growing up was hard. No one trusted me as I was one third Romulan.
With each passing year of my life, my mother would tell me a little more
about the world she left. There were times I longed to see Romulas but I
never
told my parents. I knew their feeling of that subject. I never had a normal
childhood. I would watch the human children laughing and having fun. I was
never asked to join in the fun. I lead a mostly solitary life. When I was old
enough to enter the Academy, something in my blood made that desire strong. I
never had any friends there either, so I dedicated my years at the academy in
study and learning.

I graduated first in my classes at school. Received numerous awards and
merits for my scholastic achievements. I was hated even more by my peers for
that.

My years at the academy brought more commendations and scholastic achievement

PERSONAL HISTORY
On Stardate 9806.11, I married the Chief of security (Cmdr Bjorn Vuelvas) in
the ships Arboretum. The ceremony was performed by Capt. Sierra. Janar
served as the maid of honor. Approximately seven months after our wedding,
through assistance from Lt. Aimee Mitchell, she used a medical procredure to
ensure my being able to carry a fetus. Bjorn was now uncertain if he was
ready for fatherhood. I left for Romulas to await the birth of our child.
Tryanis Bjorn Vuelvas was welcomed into the Romulan community where he now
resides until such time I can go back and get him. His safety is paramount.
I will not endanger his life for my happiness. Bjorn left the Potemkin
shortly after I left and I have not heard from him.

Due to the nature of her Romulan heritage, any further information can be
obtained through Starfleet Command.

Telepathic, Psionics, and Other Useful Abilities:
A large portion of the Anomid race is telepathic and many have some other
psionic powers (pyrokinesis, telekinesis, etc.) Also, the Anomids that
attend Rica`Lin training become very well at determining body language and
also become masters at linguistics. The training takes about 30 years to
fully complete and is started at age 5 to 8. (Anomids reach physical maturity
by age 8.) The males are trained to take leadership roles in the community
and the ones born into the Consulate families are trained to rule. Females
are trained to be more religious leaders and also to prepare themselves for
general family management. (Consulate Familles' daily life is pretty much
controlled by the females, as are a good portion of the familles finances.)
Alak Tormar started Rica`Lin training at age 6 until he was asked by his
father and the Grand Consulate to join Star Fleet when he turned 20. During
his training, he developed his telepathic abilities and became very
proficient in linguistics and reading body language. He has recently
developed some pyrokinetic abilities since he joined Star Fleet. Currently
he can only produce a small flame after a few moments of concentration, but
his abilities
should increase over time.

Distinguishing Characteristics:
In general, the Anomid people look somewhat like humans. They tend to be a
little faster and stronger then normal humans (from their planets stronger
gravity). They can tolerate much higher temperatures then most human-like
races ( 100-150 degrees Fahrenheit is common temperatures on the planet).
Their body structure is also similar to humans with some slight
modifications. First, they have 2 four chambered hearts and 3 lungs that
take up most of
their upper thorax. The Anomids have stronger skeletal structures and
slightly less rounded facial bones. Hair colors tend to be metallic in
appearance and eye color runs from deep red to purple to shades of green.
Planetary Notes:
The Anomid race comes from a very harsh planet located along the Federation
frontier. Their planetary systems are on the other side of a harsh nebula
that helped isolate the Anomids from the other space traveling races. Their
home worlds gravity is slightly greater then standard gravity for most alien
races. Also, the planet has average temperatures of 105 degrees Fahrenheit,
with lows never really dropping below 80 and highs topping out at 155 in
some areas. The atmosphere is also not of the commonly known to support
life. The massive amounts of Nitrogen, Carbon Monoxide, Xenon, Neon, and
Helium in the planets Stratosphere (upper most level), along with harsh ionic
disturbances, harsh winds, and gravity fluctuations in the Stratosphere
prevented discovery of the race earlier then just in the last 20 years.
The Anomids had just achieved light speed capabilities a decade before an
off course Star Fleet Constellation vessel, The Heroic detected an Anomid
ship landing on their homeworld. They had developed a small fleet of
light-speed vessels with minor energy weapon systems before being detected
and approached by Star Fleet and the Federation.
The Anomids had branched out their influence before a Federation vessel
found the homeworld. Small colonies in adjacent planetary systems were
present for several decades before first contact. Since then; the Anomids
have taken the added space-travel technology learned from other species and
fast species growth and started large colonies on 21 systems. One of the
systems is a mining colony possessing a moderate quantify of Dilithium

father has recently had another son (age 20) with a female other then his
wife. (This is fairly common in their society. High ranking males tend to
have children with several unattached women. It is not looked down
upon...unless the woman is not of equal or great station of the man.) The
female is the daughter of the Second Consulate. His father is training Alak's
unknown brother as his successor; hence the reason Alak was chosen to be sent
as the first Anomid in Star Fleet. He also has a male offspring (age 18)
from a daughter of the Fourth Consulate.

Childhood:
Growing up the son of the Fourth Consulate of the Grand Counsel, he was
afforded many comforts of his station in the society. He was trained very
early on in life how to keep his honor and act dignified in matters of state
he attended with his father. The society's somewhat male dominated
orientation and his status made him a little arrogant and
conceded. However, he would soon learn the follies of his ways and learn
that the universe was a much larger place then he thought.
When he was old enough and had passed the requirements to start the
illustrious Rica`Lin training with the other chosen Anomids, he jumped at the
chance. All counsel members must have received a minimum of 20 years
training to become qualified to serve. During his training, he came to
realize that the male dominated ways was not to the best of the society. A
few of the females that were in the same training class with him showed in a
few painful
and embarrassing ways that all should be treated equal (Those were lessons
he learned all to well). Soon after he turned 7 and completed his 1st year
of training...a federation ship breached the Stratosphere and made first
contact. After a few years of negotiations and diplomacy, the Anomid people
were given conditional Federation citizenship as they waited for final
acceptance into the Federation.
Wanting to get more involved with his other child's grooming for his consul
spot, Alak's father decided to send him to be the first Anomid of Consulate
rank in Star Fleet. He had excelled in his early Rica`Lin training and it
was not hard for his father to persuade the Consulate to send him. A large
number of non-Consulate familles had sent their kids to Star Fleet Academy to
keep them from the sometimes harsh working conditions for non-Consulate
or Consulate protected familles. At first, Alak was a little afraid of the
idea, even with a large contingent of Anomids already in the Academy. The
universe had only been what he saw on the planet and the few planets they had
colonized. Now, billions and billions of new ideas and surroundings awaited
him. He also wished to finish his training to be able to take his fathers
spot on the Counsel when he stepped down. With some prompting by his
family, Alak accepted it and went to Star Fleet Academy at age 19, only 12
years into his Rica'Lin training.

Academy Years and First Star Fleet Post:
As with the Rica`Lin training, his first couple years in the Academy were
very mind expanding. All the different alien races fascinated him and he
became very interested in their cultures. He also took well to all the new
sciences he was exposed to at the Academy. Wanting to know everything he
could, Alak got special permission to stay in the Academy
and receive extra training in the areas of Science, (Biochemistry and
Xenobiology specifically) Alien Cultures, Languages, and psychology. He
finished all the extra training with the Academy and a few extended "learning
missions" with different departments a little over six years after he
started. He graduated in the top 10% in the science courses he took, along
with all the linguistics and psychology courses.
When he finally graduated, Tormar was sent temporarily to fill the spot of
Assistant Science officer onboard the USS Odyssey on SD 9803.02 while its
current Science staff went through a period of change and LOAs. He was then
given the choice on SD 9807.16 to take not only an Assistant Science
position, but also a Head Counselor spot on the USS Potemkin.

First Few Months on the Potemkin:
Alak has adjusted well to life on the Potemkin. After getting through that
initial barrier that people have against counselors, he made many friends
amounts the crew. The posting has proven a little more "involved" then what
he thought it might be as a dual posting, but he has taken it all in stride.
He has come to enjoy counseling more and he's
beginning to get comfortable in the roll.
A few sad days have occurred though. The resignation of several well-liked
crew members; the capture and torture of the Captain, Commander, and Ops
manager; and the loss of First Lieutenant Warp have hit Alak and the crew
pretty hard. Alak has kept busy helping the others through this...and in
doing that, helping himself through it as well. It has also given him some
more valuable information on other species cultures you cannot quite learn
through Academy training.
On Stardate 9809.04 he was promoted to Lieutenant Junior Grade. Soon after
that, the Potemkin was taken off front-line duty and the entire ship was
given the Presidential Award for the courageous feats they performed in their
tour of duty. They were uncharged of setting up the foundation of a new
outpost on the board of known space. They encountered an extremely powerful
dimensional spanning alien race called the Ancients. After some failed
first contact attempt that ended in bloodshed on both sides (and a smashed R2
unit), there was an uneasy peace achieved with the Ancients. When the job of
setting up the Outpost was complete, Tormar took the Extended Leave of
Absence offered by Star Fleet and headed back to his homeworld on Stardate
9812.26 with a small fleet of millitary capable vessels.

Added Notes on Anomid Major and the Anomid Race:(Stardate 9905.01)
Starting on Stardate 9812.06, the main diplomats from Anomid broke off all
contact with Federation diplomats and withdrew their application to join the
Federation. All StarFleet personnel and Federation citizens were ordered
immediately off all Anomid controlled planets and out of their claimed space.
An extreme number of Anomid Star Fleet officers
and enlisted men and women took ELOAs or resigned outright within days of
this announcement. Many Anomid officers were last seen purchasing small
armed civilian vessels and joining up into seperate fleets. A number of Star
Fleet Intelligence officers also report some of the Consulate families have
spoken to and hired Alien merconaries.
Several spy ships from the Federation reported short and intense ship to
ship combat between Anomid native vessels and known vessels hired by or
commanded by former Anomid Star Fleet officers. Reports say that many of the
battles are along Consulate Family orders. It appears that the First, Third,
and Seventh Consulate Families ships have been attacked by or attacking
vessels associated with the Second, Fourth and Fifth Families. There is also
reports that elements of the Fifth Family, allied with the Sixth, have
combated the Second, Fourth, and Fifth group on several occasions. When
asked about this conflict and reported civil war going on in Anomid systems,
Diplomats (who are now mostly religious leaders and not Consul officials)
said to stay out as it was along religious lines and interference would bring
about conflict with the Federation.
On Stardate 9904.22, after over five months of space combat and ground
battles on key colonies; the conflict appeared to be over. The Anomid Star
Fleet officers, including Tormar, returned to Star Fleet. Many have avoided
comment on what happened during their LOAs, and a large number of them have
failed to return and feared dead. All official reports from Anomid Prime
point to a major change in the rank order of the Grand Consul and a new
leader
of the Anomid people. More will be known when the officially start up
diplomatic relations with the Federation in a few months.

Born on Qo`nos on SD 7311.1 and was raised by both my mother and father
until there divorce when I was six. My mother wanted me to be a Betazoid and
my father wanted me to be a warrior, which I chose to be a warrior. For six
months I'd stay with my father and then for another six months I'd stay with
my mother and he son, from an earlier marriage.
By the age of 13 I was begining to except and use what my mother was
teaching me. I also shined in my father's eyes, he would tell me I couldn't
be any more of a Klingon. Which was my father's way of telling me he was
extremly proud of me. When I was 15 I signed up for enlisted field duty
aboard a Klingon Bird of Prey and was accepted and was assigned to the ship's
Navigational Officer. At first I was excited but a little nervous when I
found
out my father was the ship's Captain. After three years of serving on the
Bird of Prey under my father, I was promoted and made ship's Weapons and
Operations officer.
Two years passed when I decided to take a year off to visit my mother,
where I worked on my telepathy and empathy. Once the year passed I intended
on returning to my post aboard the Bird of Prey, but then heard my father had
resigned his command for a place on the High Council. After deciding I'd had
gotten my wild side out of my system, my mother encouraged me to apply for
Starfleet, which I so curiosly did, as well as my brother Jason did. Also
during
that time I met my future wife, Ashley Collins an 18 year old Terran, same
age as I was at the time. She said it was my fierce Klingon ridges and witty
and charming Betazoid culture that attracted her to me. Me, I thought she was
the most beautiful and intelligent woman I had ever seen. For about a year we
dated, and I finally got up the nerve to propose to her. We were 19 when we
married, and a year later, right before we moved to San Fransisco,
she announced she was pregnant. On Star Date 9506.4 our daughter Breanna
Collins was born. But bad news was bound to follow, during the begining of
my 3rd year at the Academy, Ashely and had joined the Maquis, leaving me and
Breanna. Still to this day, I have not seen or heard from her, nor do I
understand her reasons for joining the Maquis. After one year of keeping my
hopes up, Star Fleet finally granted me a divorce after a long time of
convincing me she wasn't coming back.
After looking at my experience and Klingon service record, I was accepted
as of Star Date 9409.20, and greeted with a nice welecome letter of
acceptence. After four long years of classes, struggling with the loss of my
wife, and raising my daughter, I graduated 10th in my class with a
comendation of "Orginal Thinking". After working my way up through the ranks
I was promoted to Lt. Jg and then to full Lt and have learned to think of the
Aldrin
has
home. I've also had the chance of getting to know the crew, especially one
inparticular. Since then i have been transferred to the USS Columbia as part
of an OEP (Officer Exchange Program) and taken position of Chief Medical
Officer and Chief Science Officer.

Telepathic, Psionics, and Other Useful Abilities:
A large portion of the Anomid race is telepathic and many have some other
psionic powers (pyrokinesis, telekinesis, etc.) Also, the Anomids that
attend Rica`Lin training become very well at determining body language and
also become masters at linguistics. The training takes about 30 years to
fully complete and is started at age 5 to 8. (Anomids reach physical maturity
by age 8.) The males are trained to take leadership roles in the community
and the ones born into the Consulate families are trained to rule. Females
are trained to be more religious leaders and also to prepare themselves for
general family management. (Consulate Familles' daily life is pretty much
controlled by the females, as are a good portion of the familles finances.)
Alak Tormar started Rica`Lin training at age 6 until he was asked by his
father and the Grand Consulate to join Star Fleet when he turned 20. During
his training, he developed his telepathic abilities and became very
proficient in linguistics and reading body language. He has recently
developed some pyrokinetic abilities since he joined Star Fleet. Currently
he can only produce a small flame after a few moments of concentration, but
his abilities
should increase over time.

Distinguishing Characteristics:
In general, the Anomid people look somewhat like humans. They tend to be a
little faster and stronger then normal humans (from their planets stronger
gravity). They can tolerate much higher temperatures then most human-like
races ( 100-150 degrees Fahrenheit is common temperatures on the planet).
Their body structure is also similar to humans with some slight
modifications. First, they have 2 four chambered hearts and 3 lungs that
take up most of
their upper thorax. The Anomids have stronger skeletal structures and
slightly less rounded facial bones. Hair colors tend to be metallic in
appearance and eye color runs from deep red to purple to shades of green.
Planetary Notes:
The Anomid race comes from a very harsh planet located along the Federation
frontier. Their planetary systems are on the other side of a harsh nebula
that helped isolate the Anomids from the other space traveling races. Their
home worlds gravity is slightly greater then standard gravity for most alien
races. Also, the planet has average temperatures of 105 degrees Fahrenheit,
with lows never really dropping below 80 and highs topping out at 155 in
some areas. The atmosphere is also not of the commonly known to support
life. The massive amounts of Nitrogen, Carbon Monoxide, Xenon, Neon, and
Helium in the planets Stratosphere (upper most level), along with harsh ionic
disturbances, harsh winds, and gravity fluctuations in the Stratosphere
prevented discovery of the race earlier then just in the last 20 years.
The Anomids had just achieved light speed capabilities a decade before an
off course Star Fleet Constellation vessel, The Heroic detected an Anomid
ship landing on their homeworld. They had developed a small fleet of
light-speed vessels with minor energy weapon systems before being detected
and approached by Star Fleet and the Federation.
The Anomids had branched out their influence before a Federation vessel
found the homeworld. Small colonies in adjacent planetary systems were
present for several decades before first contact. Since then; the Anomids
have taken the added space-travel technology learned from other species and
fast species growth and started large colonies on 21 systems. One of the
systems is a mining colony possessing a moderate quantify of Dilithium

Siblings and Other Important Relatives: None known to him right now. His
father has recently had another son (age 20) with a female other then his
wife. (This is fairly common in their society. High ranking males tend to
have children with several unattached women. It is not looked down
upon...unless the woman is not of equal or great station of the man.) The
female is the daughter of the Second Consulate. His father is training Alak's
unknown brother as his successor; hence the reason Alak was chosen to be sent
as the first Anomid in Star Fleet. He also has a male offspring (age 18)
from a daughter of the Fourth Consulate.

Childhood:
Growing up the son of the Fourth Consulate of the Grand Counsel, he was
afforded many comforts of his station in the society. He was trained very
early on in life how to keep his honor and act dignified in matters of state
he attended with his father. The society's somewhat male dominated
orientation and his status made him a little arrogant and
conceded. However, he would soon learn the follies of his ways and learn
that the universe was a much larger place then he thought.
When he was old enough and had passed the requirements to start the
illustrious Rica`Lin training with the other chosen Anomids, he jumped at the
chance. All counsel members must have received a minimum of 20 years
training to become qualified to serve. During his training, he came to
realize that the male dominated ways was not to the best of the society. A
few of the females that were in the same training class with him showed in a
few painful
and embarrassing ways that all should be treated equal (Those were lessons
he learned all to well). Soon after he turned 7 and completed his 1st year
of training...a federation ship breached the Stratosphere and made first
contact. After a few years of negotiations and diplomacy, the Anomid people
were given conditional Federation citizenship as they waited for final
acceptance into the Federation.
Wanting to get more involved with his other child's grooming for his consul
spot, Alak's father decided to send him to be the first Anomid of Consulate
rank in Star Fleet. He had excelled in his early Rica`Lin training and it
was not hard for his father to persuade the Consulate to send him. A large
number of non-Consulate familles had sent their kids to Star Fleet Academy to
keep them from the sometimes harsh working conditions for non-Consulate
or Consulate protected familles. At first, Alak was a little afraid of the
idea, even with a large contingent of Anomids already in the Academy. The
universe had only been what he saw on the planet and the few planets they had
colonized. Now, billions and billions of new ideas and surroundings awaited
him. He also wished to finish his training to be able to take his fathers
spot on the Counsel when he stepped down. With some prompting by his
family, Alak accepted it and went to Star Fleet Academy at age 19, only 12
years into his Rica'Lin training.

Academy Years and First Star Fleet Post:
As with the Rica`Lin training, his first couple years in the Academy were
very mind expanding. All the different alien races fascinated him and he
became very interested in their cultures. He also took well to all the new
sciences he was exposed to at the Academy. Wanting to know everything he
could, Alak got special permission to stay in the Academy
and receive extra training in the areas of Science, (Biochemistry and
Xenobiology specifically) Alien Cultures, Languages, and psychology. He
finished all the extra training with the Academy and a few extended "learning
missions" with different departments a little over six years after he
started. He graduated in the top 10% in the science courses he took, along
with all the linguistics and psychology courses.
When he finally graduated, Tormar was sent temporarily to fill the spot of
Assistant Science officer onboard the USS Odyssey on SD 9803.02 while its
current Science staff went through a period of change and LOAs. He was then
given the choice on SD 9807.16 to take not only an Assistant Science
position, but also a Head Counselor spot on the USS Potemkin.

First Few Months on the Potemkin:
Alak has adjusted well to life on the Potemkin. After getting through that
initial barrier that people have against counselors, he made many friends
amounts the crew. The posting has proven a little more "involved" then what
he thought it might be as a dual posting, but he has taken it all in stride.
He has come to enjoy counseling more and he's
beginning to get comfortable in the roll.
A few sad days have occurred though. The resignation of several well-liked
crew members; the capture and torture of the Captain, Commander, and Ops
manager; and the loss of First Lieutenant Warp have hit Alak and the crew
pretty hard. Alak has kept busy helping the others through this...and in
doing that, helping himself through it as well. It has also given him some
more valuable information on other species cultures you cannot quite learn
through Academy training.
On Stardate 9809.04 he was promoted to Lieutenant Junior Grade. Soon after
that, the Potemkin was taken off front-line duty and the entire ship was
given the Presidential Award for the courageous feats they performed in their
tour of duty. They were uncharged of setting up the foundation of a new
outpost on the board of known space. They encountered an extremely powerful
dimensional spanning alien race called the Ancients. After some failed
first contact attempt that ended in bloodshed on both sides (and a smashed R2
unit), there was an uneasy peace achieved with the Ancients. When the job of
setting up the Outpost was complete, Tormar took the Extended Leave of
Absence offered by Star Fleet and headed back to his homeworld on Stardate
9812.26 with a small fleet of millitary capable vessels.

Added Notes on Anomid Major and the Anomid Race:(Stardate 9905.01)
Starting on Stardate 9812.06, the main diplomats from Anomid broke off all
contact with Federation diplomats and withdrew their application to join the
Federation. All StarFleet personnel and Federation citizens were ordered
immediately off all Anomid controlled planets and out of their claimed space.
An extreme number of Anomid Star Fleet officers
and enlisted men and women took ELOAs or resigned outright within days of
this announcement. Many Anomid officers were last seen purchasing small
armed civilian vessels and joining up into seperate fleets. A number of Star
Fleet Intelligence officers also report some of the Consulate families have
spoken to and hired Alien merconaries.
Several spy ships from the Federation reported short and intense ship to
ship combat between Anomid native vessels and known vessels hired by or
commanded by former Anomid Star Fleet officers. Reports say that many of the
battles are along Consulate Family orders. It appears that the First, Third,
and Seventh Consulate Families ships have been attacked by or attacking
vessels associated with the Second, Fourth and Fifth Families. There is also
reports that elements of the Fifth Family, allied with the Sixth, have
combated the Second, Fourth, and Fifth group on several occasions. When
asked about this conflict and reported civil war going on in Anomid systems,
Diplomats (who are now mostly religious leaders and not Consul officials)
said to stay out as it was along religious lines and interference would bring
about conflict with the Federation.
On Stardate 9904.22, after over five months of space combat and ground
battles on key colonies; the conflict appeared to be over. The Anomid Star
Fleet officers, including Tormar, returned to Star Fleet. Many have avoided
comment on what happened during their LOAs, and a large number of them have
failed to return and feared dead. All official reports from Anomid Prime
point to a major change in the rank order of the Grand Consul and a new
leader
of the Anomid people. More will be known when the officially start up
diplomatic relations with the Federation in a few months.

First Few Months on the Columbia:
After getting his assignment to the Columbia as Assistant Chief Science
officer, he was somewhat delighted to see a familiar face on the ship. The
Executive officer was Commander Tundr Vuelvas, who was the Potemkin's Chief
Medical officer when Tormar served on it. This helped ease his transition
back into Star Fleet from the events that occurred on his homeworld. After
consistent and exceptional conduct and proved leadership ability, he was
given
command of the Columbia for a mission. The successful rescue of an
out-of-phase Star Fleet Lieutenant who was missing 80 years ago helped to
rebuild his self-confidence and zest for Star Fleet life. On 9907.20, he was
promoted to the rank of First Lieutenant.

My first mission is over and we finally found out what the Romulans where
up to. They were trying to create a new weapon that would destroy anything
that they wanted what's new about that anyway I am a little late on this log
because I was in the holodeck celebrating my first mission. My program is a
little long and I know I should have written my logs but I thought that since
it was my first mission I should have some fun. The program is about
a maze like in the back in the past of the medieval area. I have to choose a
weapon that would get me through the maze because I am being hunted by
creators.

If any of the crew wants to know more about the maze please feel free to

When you though it would be safe to transport a Romulan ambassador you get
shot at by his own people. After the battle the Romulans denied attacking use
so the peace talks are still on but the ship was a mess. After the battle it
took a long time to get the warp back online because it was badly damage I am
surprised we even got one last jump out of it. I also got hurt but I am OK
just a little pissed. We finally got the ship back together a little
super glue don't hurt anything well it was a hell of a day. I am also getting
promoted to Chief engineer till the Capt. comes back or someone that has a
bigger rank kicks me off of it. I also bet that the crew is a little worried
putting me in charge of something like this but I will do good if I don't
then put or head between your legs and kiss your ass good bye ::smiles:: just
kinding. I hope that I will do good so I might get promoted.

After my duties I took a walk around the ship It was still a little bit
beet up but it was coming to look like a ship again. I finally found myself
back in my quarters. I laid down and slept for an hour or two. I woke up and
went to engineering. I started to work on the annulus of the core to make
sure it isn't sensated damage. I got a letter today from my uncle. He just
wanted to say hi it was nice to hear from him again. I also broke out one of
my finest drinks to celebrate me becoming temp. Chief of engineering. I will
find out if what I wrote in my duty log will come true.

CLASS HISTORY:
The Prometheus - Class starship started as the pinnacle of experimental
prototypes developed by Starfleet
Engineering. Yet, production of the Prometheus Class has been sporadic and
plagued with technical
problems. The class testbed, the U.S.S. Prometheus NX - 59650, completed an
almost successful test run
in 2374. The test was slightly delayed when the Romulan Tal Shiar attempted
to hijack the vessel and
bring it into Romulan space.
Three revolutionary features of the U.S.S. Prometheus were ablative hull
armor, regenerative
shielding, and multi vector assault mode or MVAM. When the Prometheus entered
multi vector assault
mode, it goes through a saucer separation - like transformation. When the
Prometheus separates, the
starship divided into three different sections. The main section or Alpha
Module controlled the other two
sections, Beta and Gamma Modules, by subspace radio signals. There were still
many flaws to be worked
out in the multi vector assault mode sequence. One problem lied in the
subspace radio signals that control
the other two sections. If these signals were somehow blocked, the remaining
two sections could not
function. Another problem would occur if the main section was destroyed. This
would leave the remaining
two sections with no way to reconnect. To answer these difficulties,
Starfleet engineers developed and
built two separate Battle Bridges for modules Beta and Gamma as their control
center. Now, each module
of the Prometheus Class had independent as well as interdependent control and
coordination.
The Prometheus' regenerative shielding and ablative hull armor was useful by
protecting it
against the weapons of the both the Borg and the Dominion. Unique feature of
the Prometheus was its five
warp nacelles. The Prometheus was the first known Federation vessel to be
equipped with 5 warp nacelles.
The 5th nacelle emerges from the top of the arrowhead section when the ship
enters multi vector assault
mode. This allows every section to have warp capability, as well as giving
every section a chance to make
a quick escape. The Prometheus can achieve great speeds and in 2374 it was
the fastest ship in all of
Starfleet.
The Prometheus' hull was triangular in shape, and is more of an arrowhead
than a saucer similiar
to the Intrepid and Yeager Classes. The Prometheus' nacelles were similar
to the Sovereign - Class
starship. The shuttlebay onboard the Prometheus is located at the rear of the
ship.
The Prometheus was one of the most advanced ships in Starfleet, and it
contains a state of the art
sickbay, which uses only the most advanced medical equipment. Recent upgrade
included the creation of a
LMH or Long Term Medical Hologram to replace the sometimes unstable EMH mark
2. The Prometheus
is equipped with holo - emitters on every deck which allowed the LMH to leave
sickbay in case there is a
major medical emergency.
The U.S.S. Prometheus was preceded by another U.S.S. Prometheus, although
that ship was a
Nebula - Class vessel. The Class was named after Prometheus, A Titan in Greek
mythology who taught
men the source of fire. Starfleet Command recently rewarded the valiant crew
of USS
Columbia-NCC-89901-B with the USS Apollyon. Soon after they authorized
renaming this Prometheus
Class vessel to USS Columbia NCC-89901-C.

Personal Background: Eli Kerry was born in Boulder, Colorado, Earth while
his parents were on shore leave from their posts onboard the Washington. He
lived there for a very brief period and then moved to San Fransisco with his
mother who recquested a transfer from the Washington to Starfleet Academy to
stay on Earth with her son. Tomak, his father, stayed on the Washington for
three more years prior to his promotion to
ambassador at which point he joined his son and wife in San Fransisco.

At age five, his brother David was born, the two both aspired to starfleet
and were both accepted on the first entry attempt. During training Kerry was
a part of a serious shuttle accident in which 7 out of 15 cadets were killed.
Kerry graduated three years later at the head of his class and was immediatly
posted to the Paramount. The Paramount was abandoned after an ambush by the
Jem Hadar in which it was damaged beyond repair and over half her
crew was killed. The Columbia was the ship sent to recover survivors and
after meeting her crew, Kerry requested being posted to the ship.

Kerry easily fit into the Columbia's crew, and was surpirsed to learn that
one of his friends and former school mates who had graduated much earlier was
the commander, now Captain Courtney Nelson. Nelson was in command of the
ship for the first 3 months Eli was posted there since Captain Torres was on
extended LOA. Shortly after the captain's return, she retired leaving
Courtney the new captain of the ship. Kerry quickly moved up through the
ranks, becoming a Lieutenent within months at which time he became the
official Chief of Engineering.

While a lieutenant on board the Columbia, Eli was taken prisoner of war by
the Jem Hadar during the Dominion War. The Columbia had been ordered by
Starfleet to attempt to commandeer a Dominion outpost that appeared to have
been abandoned; an unusual occurance as all Dominion outposts are set to
destruct at the threat of being overtaken. Starfleet viewed the opportunity
as a chance to gain valuable and irreplaceable information. Eli was on the
away
team led by Senior Officer Brroks. Kerry went straight for OPS with a small
engineering crew to disarm a self-destruct device that had been activated
while the rest of the team went below to explore the other decks. After
safely disactivating the device and restoring partial power to most systems,
including internal sensors, Eli detected 7 life forms that were not those of
the away team; it was at that time Eli lost contact with Brooks and his
team. Eli secured the bridge and left to see what was going on below. Armed
with a type two phaser, Eli encountered the seven Jem Hadar which had taken
the rest of the team prissioner and engaged them in hand to hand combat.
Wounded and bleeding heavily, Eli crawled into a small Jefferies tube where
he created a dampening field to mask his life signs using a tricorder. The
entire team had been taken hostage and the Jem Hadar were demanding safe
passage off the outpost in return for the lifes of the crew. Eli was able to
set up a transporter becon that allowed the Columbia to beam the crew back
safely before passing out for a severe loss of blood. The Columbia destroyed
the outpost, which had been rigged with booby traps, along with the remaining
Jem Hadar. They were unable to retrieve very much data but no Federation
lives were lost. It was shortly after this that Eli recieved the rank
of First Lieutenant.

Since then, Kerry was promoted to the rank of lieutenant commander; becoming
the third officer.

eyes, Lanna was killed by a mob. This event has forever scared him. Cody has
moved around as a bouncer, a male escort, and as a "muscle" man. At the age
of 18, he accepted and was the test subject for genetic enhancement. It was a
smashing success. Later, this procedure would be used and performed on
his cousin, Rick. Cody was a bouncer for a man named Vinny. After being
fired, Cody studied ships' engines and engineering of starships. Cody met
Shiana Troi and eventually married her. They had a daughter together named
Faith Marie. After having maritial problems, Cody and Shiana divorced. He
dated Lt. Nyssa Sati and married Nara Saren. She was pregnant but they soon
divorced. He dated here and there until he met Paula Maxx. They hit it off
and are
now married.

Starfleet History:
Cody applied to Starfleet Academy and was accepted. He worked for a little
bit around Starfleet Command and was promoted to Ensign. Cody is bright,
fresh, and a caring individual. His skills are in engineering and should make
a damn good engineer. Looking for work, Rick agreed to take him under as a
Starfleet Intelligence Operative. Shortly thereafter, he found a job onboard
the U.S.S. Utopia. He transferred from the Utopia back to Starfleet
Intelligence. Cody recently joined the U.S.S. Columbia. On 990719, Cody was

Personal Background: Supposedly, from what I was told, I was found aboard a
Klingon transport ship by the USS Insignia, to which my adopted parents were
aboard. Since my father being the one who found me, he took me in and raised
me with his wife Debbie. After a couple of months, my father was
transferred to Chief of Security of Earth.
During the ages of 5 through 14, I attend public schools in Guthrie,
Oklahoma. When I was 10, my father was transferred to the Utopia Fleet Yards
on Mars, and put in charge of ship's design, while my mother and I stayed on
Earth. It was difficult sometimes, being without my father, although he came
and visited every chance he got.
When I was 14, I was arrested for possession of illegal substance,
disturbance of the peace, and breaking an entry. Since I was only a
juvenile, I was sentenced to 2 years in the State Juvenile Detention Center.
When my father heard of the news, he was furious, but also blamed himself
some for not being there for me. Then, he requested a transfer back to earth
to be in charge of Star Fleet Security Operations, which was accepted.
Once I was released from the Detention Center, my father managed to pull
some strings get accepted into Starfleet. After that I was shipped me off to
Starfleet Academy. At first I was angry with my dad for pushing me into it.
Finally we agreed that I would go through with it for my first year, and if I
still didn't like it I could resign. However, during my first year, Star
Fleet grew on me, and I actually understood why my father urged me to go.
It was his way of telling me he only wanted the best for me.
Although I tended to have a hot temper, I learned to cool it from lots
warnings from the Academy instructors and especially when my father got word
of it. Well, during my second year at the Academy, I got some active field
study on the Utopia Fleet yards on Mars, and then after spending a year on
field study, I was sent back to the Academy. During my Junior year I met the
love of my life, Kelli Dover, a Cadet herself. During that time we started
dating, and finally during the end of our Junior year, I asked her to marry
me. When we started our Senior year at the Academy, we had everything
planned, but
about midway through the year, Kelli was caught in a science lab explosion.
After the explosion, I was granted some leave time and returned with in a few
weeks. Still devastated, I had a hard time staying together sometimes. It
was then I began to really pursue science.
Finally when graduation day came, I graduated 23rd in my class and was
promoted to Ensign and posted aboard the USS Columbia. About a month after I
was stationed, I was promoted to Lieutenant Junior Grade, along with an
accident. While I was investigating something on a damaged space station,
near Romulan space, I became missing and rapidly aged about 30 years. After
that I took a leave of absence. As time passed I was promoted to full
Lieutenant, then Second Officer of the Columbia, and then to First
Lieutenant. Shortly after my promotion to First Lt. and with the resignation
of Captain Torres, I was promoted to Acting Executive Officer. After months
of working with Captain Nelson as Acting XO, I was promoted to Lt. Commander
and remained Acting Executive Officer.
Shortly after my promotion to Lt. Commander, I was transferred to the USS
Aldrin as part of an Officer Exchange. Once on the Aldrin, I stayed there as
Chief Science Officer. My time on the Aldrin was short yet sweet and before
long Starfleet pulled me away on some wild goose chase. I was put in charge
of a special ops team. Our mission was to infiltrate a Dominion supply camp
and destroy it. Everything started out fine but the team was detected
and things got extremely messy. All of my team was takin out and I captured
but not without some major wounds.
I stayed in Dominion hands until the war ended and upon my release I was
sent to Starfleet medical where I underwent my rehabilitation. After a long
and excruciating time at Starfleet Medical, I was sent home to the Columbia
and took over as Chief of Science and Second Officer.

Background:

Aleah was born in Bajor. She was raised by her mother and step-father in
Bajor. She has no information on who her real father was.
During a war, Aleah lost both her parents in a drastic way. They were
trapped in a camping site which burned to the ground. Aleah was badly
injured by the fire. Days later, she and other victims were rescued by a team
from the USF. All scars from the burns she received were healed and removed,
but her left eye had to be completely removed and replaced by a genetically
enhanced eye. This eye allows her to focus on things at a very far distance.

She is also able to see things that are not visible to the neaked eye. Aleah
was never given up for adoption. She was taken care of by friends of her
parents that taught at the Academy. Aleah grew up in the Academy grounds and
later on, when she grew of age, entered the academy. She gratuaded with
honors and majored in Medical. A few months later, she was recruited to join
the USS Columbia. And now has a daughter because her really parents were
abusing her.

FAMILY HISTORY
Mother is Romulan, Father is Terran and betazoid. My parents met when my
father was on a mission for the Federation. My mother was disillusioned with
the Romulan empire and when my father asked her to come away with him, she
agreed. Growing up was hard. No one trusted me as I was one third Romulan.
With each passing year of my life, my mother would tell me a little more
about the world she left. There were times I longed to see Romulas but I
never
told my parents. I knew their feeling of that subject. I never had a normal
childhood. I would watch the human children laughing and having fun. I was
never asked to join in the fun. I lead a mostly solitary life. When I was old
enough to enter the Academy, something in my blood made that desire strong. I
never had any friends there either, so I dedicated my years at the academy in
study and learning.

PRE-ACADEMY EDUCATION
I graduated first in my classes at school. Received numerous awards and
merits for my scholastic achievements. I was hated even more by my peers for
that.

My years at the academy brought more commendations and scholastic achievement
awards and I finished in the top 1% of my class.

PERSONAL HISTORY
On Stardate 9806.11, I married the Chief of security (Cmdr Bjorn Vuelvas) in
the ships Arboretum. The ceremony was performed by Capt. Sierra. Janar
served as the maid of honor. Approximately seven months after our wedding,
through assistance from Lt. Aimee Mitchell, she used a medical procredure to
ensure my being able to carry a fetus. Bjorn was now uncertain if he was
ready for fatherhood. I left for Romulas to await the birth of our child.
Tryanis Bjorn Vuelvas was welcomed into the Romulan community where he
resided until such time I could go back and get him. His safety was and
still is paramount. I will not endanger his life for my happiness. Bjorn
left the Potemkin shortly after I left and I have not heard from him.

After a few months aboard the Columbia, I had Tryanis brought to the ship. I
have watched him grow into an imp of his own. He has made friends with the
daughter of our CMO. They seem to be inseperable. Shortly after Tryanis's
fourth birthday, I received a letter from Bjorn. He, in his own way,
apologized for what had happened and the way we drifted apart. I do want him
to see his son. He never has laid eyes on him before.

Due to the nature of her Romulan heritage, any further information can be
obtained through Starfleet Command.
