Re: Deceased Family Members.
On Star Date 9606.24 it was confirmed that the family members of Ens. Juan C
Santiago, were drowned by Cardassian Erradicator Team in search for Ens.
Santiago.
The Family Members that were "executed" are:
Carlos Santiago, Jr. Age :42, famous holographic "painter" he is survived by
his wife, Carmen Oyola de Santiago and his three children, Tomas(10),
Enrique Jose(7) and Linda Flor(5).
Alberto Santiago. Age: 38, Renoun Cuban Folkloric Music Composer/Singer.
he is survived by His Wife, Rachel Sosa de Santiago and his Children,
Alberto,Jr.(3) and Ines Felicita(1).
Pablo Santiago. Age: 35. Writer, Most famous for his children books.
He is Survived by His Wife, Sarah Rodriguez de Santiago and his children:

Rosa del Alba Santiago. Age:28. Singer. Her rendition of the Cuban national
anthem is acepted as the "official" version by the Cuban Goverment.
She is Survived by her husband, Raul J. Cruz, and her children, Rosa Maria(3)
and Maria del Carmen(1)
Services were held at the National House of the Arts in Havana,Cuba and it
was attended by the President and most of the Governing Body. They were all
burried with Full Military and Ambassadorial Honors. A day of mourning was
announced by the President.

CHARACTERISTICS OF RACE:
Zomauans are a cat-like race who walk upright and average 6' to 7' in height.
They are lean and covered with a dense fur. The tail is long and furry and

an indicator of emotion much like the face is for an earthling. Zomauans in
the federation wear uniforms, however, they are not used to wearing clothing.
They do not, however, wear shoes as their clawed feet are necessary for both
defense and agility.
The Zomauans are known for their intelligence, agility, ability to see in low
light, acute hearing and tenacity. In spite of their size, they do not have
great strength and their paws tend to be a hindrance to dexterity. They are
very curious and delight in learning -- these attributes tend to make them
excellent candidates for the fields of science and security.
CHARACTERISTICS:
Larue has dark brown medium length fur with light tan markings around the
face. She has long silver whiskers and emerald green eyes. Her claws are
two inches long, very strong and very sharp. These claws, when used with the
Zomauan hand to hand combat techniques, help to make up for her lack of
strength.
PERSONALITY:
Like most Zomauans, Larue is a bit of a loner and tends to be somewhat
cynical. She is very serious about her work but does reveal a dry sense of
humor now and then. She makes friends slowly but is very loyal once the
friendship is made. Larue has one of the largest personal databases in the
federation of reptilian and mammalian life forms and is a recognized
authority dangerous life forms.

BACKGROUND:
Larue was a solo birth (most Zomauans have 3 to 5 kits in a litter). Her
mother, Daiq (Dack) and father Aika (Eye-ka) were both xenobiologists who

educational facilities including the Vulcan Science Academy, Andorian
Technological University, and Zorn Institute.
Larue was educated by her parents and travelled with them until age 14 when
she entered the Zomauan Institute of Science.
Her parents were killed when Larue was 18 by an ebony mambasian reptoid (a
highly venomous snake-like creature) on the planet Teoria when they
accidentally disturbed its nest. After the death of her parents, Larue
left the Institute and continued their work until four years ago when, at
age 38, she entered Starfleet Academy and was the oldest student in
her class.
EDUCATION:
Attended the Zomauan Institute of Science majoring in Xenobiology.
Two years of summer school at the Vulcan Academy of Science
Attended Starfleet Academy. In addition to all required courses, Larue took

Recently, it has been discovered by a few of her crewmates aboard her current
ship, the Columbia, that Killian is in fact an undercover SI operative. This
discovery was made when her specialized team discovered an alpha quadrant
wide slave ring and begin to shut them down. During this process, Killian
spent over a month as a prisoner on one of the slaver's ships, were she was
almost broken by him. She managed to escape with the aid of a pirate captain
and the Redux. While she was gone, the slaver
that had her, replaced her with a Chamaliod who possed as Killian Sylver.
The imposter was discovered and destroyed just moments before Killian
returned to the Columbia. She is now recovering from her time spent as a
hostage.

difficult especially when I met up with my sister Grace.
We had a really bad falling out and I became even more determined to prove
her wrong about me being a trouble maker. I did graduate 2nd in my class. I
then was sent to Utopia Planica where I work on the new intrepid gel packs.
I then put in for a transfer to a ship and was posted to the Columbia. I
have since made my way up the ranks to FtLt and Chief Engineer and then to XO
of the Columbia. I have also since made up with my sister and have made a
good friend in her.

Not is known about the young lady know as Sprite to her friends. The planet

spelljammer ship had been caught by supprised by a wormhole that killed the
crew. Spending several months abord the USS Trident she got interested in

Early Personal History: Kortell was born to Wright and Jana Arkor on SD
7202.19. He went through standard grade schooling and passed with honors,

become a joined Trill, and began going through the process at age 17. after
about half a year, Kortell nearly dropped out because he said it was
"boring", but encouragement from his parents, and his best

the final tests, and was selected to be joined. He was joined with the Rok
symbiont soon after, and then decided to take a hiatus for to get used to his
new life as a joined Trill. After a year, Kortell Rok signed up for

Starfleet Academy History: He went through Starfleet Academy fairly easily,
much to the thanks of the past experience of the Rok symbiont, and graduated
in the top 10% of his class. Kortell majored in Ship Operations and design,
with minors in Battle Tactics and engineering. Rok is an excellent athlete,
winning honors in several sports, and being named "Most Athletic" in his
senior year. He was also a member of the Academy student counsel during his
sophmore and junior years.
Personal Information: Kortell is a fun loving, spontaneous person, who is

Jason Michael Mathis was born in Norfolk, Virginia on August 24th. His

Early Personal History: Kortell was born to Wright and Jana Arkor on SD
7202.19. He went through standard grade schooling and passed with honors,
graduating at age 16. He then attended the Trill Science Academy for a year,
before dropping out due to lack of interest. He then decided he wanted to
become a joined Trill, and began going through the process at age 17. after
about half a year, Kortell nearly dropped out because he said it was
"boring", but encouragement from his parents, and his best
friend Rike (deceased), changed his mind. At the age of 20, he completed
the final tests, and was selected to be joined. He was joined with the Rok
symbiont soon after, and then decided to take a hiatus for to get used to his
new life as a joined Trill. After a year, Kortell Rok signed up for
Starfleet Academy.
Symbiont History: Kortell is the fourth host of the Rok symbiont. Below is a
brief description of each of his previous hosts:
Manor Rok- First host of Rok symbiont. A Scientist on the Trill homeworld,
he was not very well known, though he made some interesting discoveries. He
was a very quiet and keep to himself person, not much liking to be bothered.
Died at age of 86 (Brain failure).
Janel Rok- The second host of Rok, Janel was the first and so far only female
host of Rok. Janel was a Doctor on the Trill homeworld, she owned her own
small practice. She was considered the most compatible with the Rok
symbiont, having a personality much like it. Died at age of 42 (heart
complications)
Marcus Rok- The third host of Rok, Marcus was a Starfleet Officer. He was
much like Kortell, though slightly more reserved and disiplined. He rose to
the rank of Lieuteant Commander as a Special Operations Officer before dying
at the age of 37 (died on a mission, unknown cause)
Starfleet Academy History: He went through Starfleet Academy fairly easily,
much to the thanks of the past experience of the Rok symbiont, and graduated
in the top 10% of his class. Kortell majored in Ship Operations and design,
with minors in Battle Tactics and engineering. Rok is an excellent athlete,
winning honors in several sports, and being named "Most Athletic" in his
senior year. He was also a member of the Academy student counsel during his
sophmore and junior years.
Personal Information: Kortell is a fun loving, spontaneous person, who is
very duty bound, but is far from the perfect Starfleet Officer. He loves to
gamble, especially in games like poker, and is fearless. Sometimes Kortell
will "leep before he looks", but the symbiont has balanced that somewhat.
The symbionts personality is alot different then Kortells. He is a very
scholarly, very personal, and enjoys to read and study. He is also very
technical minded. Kortell may not have even gotten through
Starfleet without him, as he is also not really driven or motivated by much.
The two beings balnce each other out, making Kortell Rok normal...for the

Apperence: Caitlin Pryde, called Kitty by her friends, is mostly human in
apperence with the exception of her cat-like ears at the top of her head ,
her prehensile tail and cat eyes. Her hair color changes whenever she
"sheds" the new color replacing the old about every two months.
Personality: Kitty is normaly a friendly, outgoing sort of person. There are
again exceptions to this also. Her race is still suspetable to the "Mateing
seasons" when she is "in heat". this causes mood swings from the extreamly
violent to overly submisive. And Secondly she will visously attack any
Cardassian due to trama suffered (See Personal history). It seems catnip has
the same effect on her as normal cats. She also resents the fact other beings
think she should be frightened of canines.
Personal History: Born on the planet Cartharsis she was the youngest of two.
Her home planet was raided, her parents killed and her and her brother taken
to an unknown planet and sold as slaves when she was 13. Both ended up in
the arena as fighters. Kitty and her brother soon became very good at
fighting becoming champions. At 16 Kitty and her brother attemped to escape
their owners only to end up in the hands of the Cardassians. Put through
tourture and sent to emcampment on Bajor, Kitty proved the
old adage "what does not kill me will only make me stronger". Kitty's
brother was shipped off to Cardassia just before Bajor was freed. Joining
Starfleet it was found her mind was as sharp as her reflexes. Excelling in
both Science and Medical she has won certificates for execelence in both.
Medical information: Kitty is stronger then normal humans. Her strength
matches that of Klingons. Her reflexes are true to her cat nature. She can
swivel her ears around giving her 360 hearing and her cat eyes give her
excelent night vision. Her tail is also very strong being able to pick up
objects weighing up to fifty pounds as well as being able to support her
weight hanging from it.
Goals: Kitty wants to find her brother. But she also has an unquenchable

History: Little is known about his origin other than that his
Family was butchered by the Romulans during a conflict on the Aurora
settlement in the Memphis Sector in 7905.13. All records of the inhabitants
have been lost. Chaos was sold into slavery by the Ferengis who captured the
remaining survivors. And sent to the mining colony on Teserac 12. Five years
later he escaped and somehow ended up deep in the Beta Quadrant. There he and
40 others volunteered to test a vaccine for the Romulan Flu
in return for shelter by the local government. Instead they were genetically
tested upon by an unknown Scientist; After months of torturous
experimentation, he; the only survivor, was released. The "Treatments" he was
given resulted in massive DNA and cellular changes such as Enhanced Strength
and intelligence also an accelerated healing regenerative ability which has
slowed down aging tremendously. He has noticed only slight side effects.
He wandered for years in search of revenge and a cure to his new
emense size, searching planet after planet with no luck. Finally he traveled
to Tau Ceti, where his lack of knowledge of the local culture and customs
caused an incident which has him and his ancestors banished from that planet
for 5 generations. Fleeing that planet, he made his way to Bajor.
At the time Bajor was in control of the Cardassians, Chaos joined
the Bajoran Rebellion and made a name for himself as a mercenary, freelancing
his services and his ship to the war effort. He and a group of rebels broke
into a Cardassian prison camp and freed over 1,000 prisoners. In that
skirmish, an unknown amount of Cardassians were killed, there is no comment
on this event by Cardassian officials. He is currently hunted by the
Cardasians for Piracy and other crimes against the government.
Two months after this he was arrested on DS9 by Starfleet officers,
for distruction of private property and assaulting a Ferengi who Chaos
accused of having a hand in on his being taken as a slave. A "deal" was made
and instead of being incarcerated he was sent to Starfleet Academy.
Academics:
Chaos was a bright cadet, accelerating in all aspects of his
studies. He gained the respect of each of his professors, finishing at or
near the top of all of his classes. Fear and jealousy over his success and
size led to several severe altercations with fellow students. Reprimands were
given and taken care of by the Headmaster of StarFleet Academy.
After finishing his general education at the Academy, Chaos
centralized his abilities on Security and Tactics. Not only did he learn and
study that of classic Federation tactics, but also strived to learn the
tactics of other races. Finding ways to employ current Federation tactics to
defeat these other races, and also constructed tactics of his own to better
match those of other races.

Cobalt was born 120 years ago on his home planet of Kyus, in the Gamma
quadrant. Cobalt is part of a race of people with extraordinary mind
abilities. Some are born with telepathy, telekinetic abilities, or
combinations of the two... there are also other special cases in which
someone is born with, or deveolops even more special abilities. These cases,
however are extremely rare and sometimes take centuries to develop.
Cobalt was born with prowess in the field of telekinetics with some
minor telepathic skills, though nothing much. He grew up in the capital city
of Eyrix, the dominant continent on his world. He attended public schooling,
in favor of a special academy based on developing students mind-skills. After
atending school 'til he was 25, he moved on to attend college in Eyrix's most
pretigeous institution, Toja, which is Kyusian for "The Mind". He took
special classes there for eight years and graduated as
valedictorian.
After 33 years of schooling, which is the norm for a Kyusian, Cobalt
embarked on a spiritual journey every Kyusian takes, called the Olum. The
Olum can take several years, or several days, it all depends on the person
who is taking the journey. Cobalts Olum took him 17 years. The Olum, is a
quest for one's greater knowledge of their mind and body, they partake in
rigorous tests and exercises, one after another, to greater understand
themselves, their mind and their world. It is someitmes a deadly
practice as some Kyusians cannot handle the secrets their minds unleash, but
more often, it is the individual who comes out whole, better, and one with
their mind. Cobalt finished his at the age of 50, and was now a full-fledged
member of society, giving him rights to practice a trade, hold government
seats, etc... but Cobalt wanted more out of life... he wanted the stars and
the sky at his fingertips, not a computer.
Until the discovery of the Bajoran wormhole by the Federation, the
Kyusian space program had not been a prime focus of the government. But after
first contact with the Federation and consequent membership with them, the
Kyusian population became infatuated with the galaxy. More and more were
attending the newly founded Kyusian Space Academy, to become prepared for
attending Starfleet Academy at Earth if they so choosed. The other option was
to join the Kyusian Space Fleet, wihch was still functional
but served little purpose with the advent of the Federation. This, some
citizens hated and protested the Federation's "assimilation" of Kyus, but the
majority welcomed their presence, Cobalt included. Inspired by this new
discovery, at th eage of 115, Cobalt went to Earth to attend the Academy,
with his past records and academic records, he was welcomed in a flash.
=/\= The Academy =/\=
During the Academy, Cobalt was an excellent cadet, never late for
classes(And he was acing them all as well) and always obeyed orders, to the
letter. But... he was also the "life of the party" at most Academy events. He
loved any chance to interact with humans or any other race for that matter.
He was naturally accepted too with his bubbly perosnality.
Other than his preference to a prank, sometimes, over a book, Cobalt was
a model student at the academy. He finished second in his class with high
honors and recommendations from his superiors.

After graduating from the academy, Cobalt went on to study to become a
professor, while at the same time assigned as an assisstant in the R & D
department of Starfleet, specializing on experimental ships and ships'
systems. At the age of 62 he had a high enough education to become a
professor at the Academy, but was at the same time being offered at high
posision on the R & D board: Chief of Operations. This was quite a
crossroads, but his love of scholastics and education drove him to become a
professor and so he accepted the job, becoming the Academy's new teacher,
specializing in combat and combat situations, how to hold one's self, etc. He
taught this position and off and on, others, until he was 120, when he
decided he wanted more, more than just helping others from behind a desk, he
wanted to help, but actually be there. So, after 60 years of teaching, he was
inducted into the academy alumni and given permission to become an officer.

After becoming and officer, Cobalt was assigned to the USS Columbia, in
the security department. On his first mission, he helped in the destruction

Backround: My birthplace is unknown. I was raised up in USA, Earth. Little
is known about me but my backround is full of surprises. My uncle is Jean
Luc Picard. He is well known so I dont have to say anything about him. My
father was Karg son of Torak. He was one of the most cunning warrior in
Klignon history. He got many medals for his heroic actions. But he left with
honor to try to settle down. But that would not happen. Some cardassians held
some Klignons and some Humans one of them was my mother
Kathy. He helped free my mother and many others from being killed. He was
then a hero to Earth and to the Klignons. He was awarded two medals one from
Earth and one from the Klignons. My grandfather Torlak was a master at
fighting and never lost one fight in battle. He was awarded several medals
which all involved flight.

Born on the colony of New Virginia 24 years ago. Parents separated when she
was 10 and her father Ambassador Torres took her sister Grace Torres to earth
to live. She stayed with her mother at the colony where she grew up in the
streets. SheI started tinkering with electronics and engines at an early age.
When she was caught for steeling she was given the option to join StarFleet
or spend the next 10 years in jail. She decided to go to StarFleet. It was
very difficult especially when she met up
with her sister Grace. They had a really bad falling out and she became
even more determined to prove her sister wrong about being a trouble maker.
She did graduate 2nd in her class. She then was sent to Utopia Planica where
she worked on the new intrepid gel packs. She then put in for a transfer to
a ship and was posted to the Columbia. She has since made her way up the
ranks to FtLt, Chief Engineer, XO and then to CO of the Columbia. She has
also since made up with her sister and have made a
good friend in her.

confidence in her leadership skills, but when push comes to shove she will be
clam in the face of danger. She is fiercely loyal and will protect with her

Well, we rounded up most of the crew, attened to the wounded and are now
awaiting the arrival of our transportation to DS9.
Myself and Ensign Sirl were to meet up with Terlak, who had burned his
hand badly, and then Meet with the rest of the crew at the Klingon colonie.
We met up with Terlak and began to our walk to the colonie. We were about
half there when we were ambushed by Jem Hadar forces.
Terlak was doing well kepping of part of the attackers with fruit that
he found contained acid-like juices, that is until he spilled some on his
foot.
Sirl was also stabed in the back, not that bad really.
I, on the other hand, had the pleasure of having Jemmies bash me head on
the forest floor.
We fought off the attack and started our trek again. About 150 meters
from the Klingon City I saw the Captin's Escape pod. I had Sirl take Terlak
to the City for Medical attention and made my way to see if the captin was
alright. See nearly shot me ! but i guess that was reasonable...considering.
She couldn't walk, leg wound, and she was probably...well hell she was
hurtin' like hell. With assistance the Captin got up and we made our way to
the City. The Captin's Main priority was that the
Doctor and the kids were alright.
I wanted to get her imediate Medical attention, but the Captin wanted to
find the Doc and her kids first. ( She can Be very persuasive). Anyway Sirl
found them and them, and it was time to help Dana know. But she has a "thing
for doctors" and wouldn't let any of the touch her. So Court had to run al
the way across the Compound to help her.
What a day.

the area of psychic enhancement. Befriended by a Cardassian scientist, Tarva
was freed and smuggled to bajor and hidden in by the Vedeks in the temples.
Separated from his family, here he was trained in Bajoran religous beliefs to

Medical Stats
Ensign Selah in his sophmore year at the Academy was admitted to the Med
center after losing conciousness during a tournament. It was observed that
his brain waves were many times stronger than that of mormal Bajorans. After
test were run it was concluded that the experiments that had been performed
at Gallitep had side effects that lay dormant for years. these side effects
include limited Telekinetic/Telepathic abilities. It is believed that these
are only the begining stages of further changes to
come. Since all Med records from Gallitep were destroyed during the
liberation by the Shaakar resistance fighters, the exact nature of these
experiments is unknown.

Ensign Selah shows a strong need to belong. After being separated from his
