Personal Profile: Known only by his family as Keisuke, Isato has a very
confusing past. Sent into the current time from the future, he resides with
his parents...or his parents to be. His attitude is very laid back, and he
seems to be speaking through his thoughts more then his mouth. Dispite his
casual manner, there is much seriousness in him. The struggles he endured in
the future have taken away the
joys of his youth, and clouded them in responsibility...for his life..and
others. He keeps to himself and rarely is seen on the ship by anyone but his
family. What he does with all his time is unknown, due to the fact that he's
never in Medical, or Security. Hamaha keeps a close watch on him for
companionship and safety. His temper has been known to get the better of him,
on more than one occassion. She is the only one able to keep him from doing
anything stupid....most of the time. His devotion to his family goes beyond
anything else and he greatly wishes to return home someday....

Hamaha- A large bird, resembling an Earth falcon. She is about 4ft tall
and her wing span is large enough to completely cover a human. She rarely
leaves Naka's side, unless instructed. She will only attack if given an order
by Nakaruru, or if she is in danger. She has telepathic abilities which she
uses to maintain a link between Naka and Marcus. The link
is so strong that if Hamaha were to feel ill, Naka would as well.
Phoenix- Hamaha's only surviving chick. He is named for his fiery wings,
which look as though they were engulfed in flames. Phoenix is owned and
trained by Kartan.
Tally Hawk- Hamaha's chosen mate. He was selected on Romulus and now lives
with Hamaha in the Dire household. Tally Hawk is slightly larger than Hamaha,
and his feathers are as black as night. He dislikes humans treatment toward
animals and keeps to himself. Tally Hawk communicates to and through Hamaha.
Nakaruru Sakaki: Almost always patroling or monitoring the corridors,
Nakaruru is rarely seen without her feathered friends. Raised by her parents
in a traditional Samurai family, Naka follows a strict code of honor. She
carries her family sword, which she recieved special permission from
StarFleet to carry with her. She is very open and friendly, but can easily
become serious. She is very strong willed
and stubborn and very few know how to get around that part of her
personality. She was married Marcus Dire on Stardate:9909.18. Her bond with
him is strong and she feels a great deal of devotion to him.
Keisuke: Full name- Keisuke Isato Dire. The son of Marcus and Naka. A time
rift in the future transported the young boy back in time and onto the
Aldrin. Meeting his parents in the past proved hard for him. After spending
years away from home he wanted to return to the U.S.S. Akira, his mother's
ship. A message
has been sent to the Akira, and should arrive to retrieve him before the year
is over. His link with his parents is amazingly strong, which seems to get
him into trouble when his teenage mind wanders. His temper is his most
unwanted behavior. By his family, he is called Keisuke, and all others refer
to him by his middle name, Isato.<With the exception of Captain Killian, to
whom he has granted the
privilage> He says only his family deserves to know the real him, and anyone
who calls him otherwise, he has promised to hurt. He currently lives with his
parents on the Aldrin.

MEDICAL HISTORY:**CLASSIFIED** Nakaruru's medical condition seems to have
corrected itself to a certain extent. Her falcon manages to chanel these
errors in her brain patterns to keep her under control. A cure so far has not
been discovered. Without the falcon to assist her, Naka would need to enter
sickbay on a regular basis to recieve treatment. Her last physical
examination was: Stardate:9908.02 She
still dislikes sickbay and avoids it whenever possible. Any time she is in
sickbay, she immediatly finds a way out. Her paranoia is not uncommon among
Star Fleet officers.

Background:
Cora Lee was born to Devon and Lee Majors in the human colony of Jasper VII
a high gravity planet. Cora Lee has a brother, Donavan, who is in his
senior year of high school and sister, Tracy, who is about to enter college.
Her parents, Devon and Lee, are farmers with a small family inheritantance.
They worked hard to keep the family unit close, until Lee developed a
gambling habit. He enjoyed all forms of gambling, and wasn't long before he
had spent his families life savings and had his family in debt with high
stake loans. Lee Majors disappeared leaving his family to pay for the debts
he had incurred. For Cora Lee, it meant that her father's debts would not
enable her to go to the Academy. It meant that she would have to be leave her
dreams behind and help her mother on the farm and do other odd jobs to help
pay for the loans. It devastated Cora Lee to have to give up her dreams of
going to the academy especially when she had passed the Academy entrance exam
with perfect scores.
However, a mysterious transmission was sent to Cora Lee encouraging her to
enter the academy and that all would be taken care of. Without a single
thought, Cora Lee submitted her application and was accepted. Cora Lee
graduated with top honors in the academy and awaited her first posting from
Starfleet. As luck would have it, Cora Lee's family's past was brought up to
haunt her when she was approached by a distinquished looking gentleman who
offered more than what StarFleet was going to give. Cora Lee accepted the
offer and soon started a secret life unknown to StarFleet and her family.

Cora Lee is an exceptional fighter pilot. She can fly just about anything
if given the chance. She is a skilled gymnist and an expert in most fields
of martial arts. Cora Lee is also an expert in *computer programming,

Alex was born in San Diego, where he was raised by his natural parents,
living in the same town and home until he left for Starfleet Academy at the
age of eighteen. Alex was a bright and cooperative child, always eager to
help others, especially his mother. He showed a penchant for learning and an
innate artistic ability at an early age, learning to read by age three
and showing a maturity for visual arts usually found in children much older.
The Styles family was not always the happy family that the casual observer
would see. Anthony Styles was an abusive husband. The majority of the abuse
was directed toward his wife, Linda; as a young child, Alex was often witness
to his father's abuse of his mother. Toward the end of his freshman year at
the Academy, Alex and Anthony were involved in an altercation that resulted
in the death of the elder Styles [see Starfleet Judiciary attachment.]
After graduating from the Academy Alex was accepted into Starfleet
Intelligence. Alex spent the next four years working as an SI operative,
accumulating several commendations and metals. He achieved the rank of
Lieutenant Commander in almost record time for an SI officer. While working
undercover with his cousin, Alex and Rick Styles earned the name "Shadow
Thieves." -- often covertly stealing latinum and information for purposes
that Starfleet
would have flatly denied had they ever been caught.
Desiring a new challenge, Alex voluntarily surrendered his SI commission and
accepted a general commission in order to accept a post on a starship. Alex
is currently an ensign, posted as a science officer on the U.S.S. Aldrin.
Alex was married for a short while to Tavi Kellan. The marriage produced
one child, Lauren Linda Styles. Alex and Tavi divorced and he was heartbroken
by this. Alex is was seeing Phaedra Ree and they dissolved. He dated a woman
named Misery and a woman named Dana. Currently, Alex is dating Aris from the
U.S.S. Aldrin. After they dated, Aris and Alex wed.
At an early age, Alex was artistic and read books. Alex enjoys reading,
painting, writing, singing, running, swimming, and spending time with his

PERSONAL BACKGROUND:
Killian became part of Starfleet Intelligence when she was eight years of age
due to some very unusual talents. However, due to the delicacy of her chosen
career and her age, she lived a double life until age 18 when she went into
the field full time. She has been careful to protect her family from any
knowledge of her real career. When her parents were killed, her siblings
discovered her double life and an estrangement was the result. They are
currently working to regain the closeness they once had.
PAST ASSIGNMENTS: Killian has been: a science officer on Starbase 112, a
tactical officer on Deep Space 5, a medical assistant on transport ship:
Deglah, and the commander of a special E & E* team on the ship: Crystique,

Like his mother, Sean had a natural affinity for languages, mastering
several difficult languages, including Klingon, Ancient Chinese and Vulcan,
before the age of ten. A Communications Officer aboard the USS Hudson,
Sean, along with the entire crew, died from the effects of a neuro- toxin
agent they were subjected to while fending off an attack from a Romulan ship
that had seemingly strayed into Federation Space. It was later determined
that the the Romulans had planned this event in order to test the performance
of their new weapon - one designed to kill a ship’s crew quickly, while
leaving the ship intact.
William Robbins Ryan birthdate: September 26, 2369
Not to be outdone by his two older brothers, William graduated from the
Academy with honors, completing degress in Stellar Naviagation, Planetary
Physics, and Galaxic Relations. A gifted athlete, William broke over 23
records in football and track and field during his four years there.
William also inherited his mother’s musical talent, mastering the piano and
violin as a young child.
Nicholas Sloan Ryan birthdate: September 12, 2373
Having inherited his mother’s penchant for learning exponentially,
Nicholas completed all of his preliminary educational programs by the age of
eight. However, Starfleet Academy would not consider allowing him to take
the entrance exam until he was at least twelve years of age. After two
years, Rej’k, Nicholas’ Vulcan private tutor, urged the Ryans to send him to
the University of Ireland, claiming that in order for Nicholas to be aptly
challenged he needed to be surrounded by intellectuals, and that he himself
had taken Nicholas as far as he felt he was able. Nicolas earned a degree in
Computer Engineering during the two years he spent there. At the age of
twelve, Nicholas passed the Star Fleet entrance exam, becoming the youngest
to have done so in over 80 years. Nicolas graduated with honors - the same
year his older brother William passed the entrance exam.
Personal History
Tia grew up on the Ryan estate in Kerin County, Ireland. Admiral Ryan
removed himself from active duty just prior to Tia's birth. He was
determined to spend more time with young Nicholas and his newborn daughter
than he had spent with his three elder sons. Katherine refused to leave the
family home, often enduring long periods of time alone raising the children
herself while her husband was off fighting against the Cardassians, leading
the
fleet in battle. Tia arrived kicking and screaming on a cold, wintry
Christmas Eve. The Ryan household was never quite the same after the arrival
of the first born daughter.
Educational History
Tia's educational experience was similar to that of her brothers. Home
schooled by Katerine, she finished her preliminary educational programs at
the age of 16. Tia was uninterested in following her father's and brothers'
footsteps into Starfleet, entering instead the University of Ireland. There
she studied medical sciences, specializing Neurological Pharmacology. Tia
graduated with honors at the age of 19 with a degree in medicine. She
was all set to begin her residency at the Sisters of Mercy Hospital in Dublin
when the news of Sean's death reached the family. The tragedy was doubly so
for Tia, who realized that the anti-toxin research project she was a member
of was perhaps only three to six months away from achieving a strong
anti-toxin agent, one that perhaps could have saved Sean's life and the lives
of all the crew members of the USS Hudson. Determined not to allow this
type of weapon to take another life needlessly, Tia decided to join
Starfleet. Her father pulled a few strings and called in a favor or two and
soon Tia was accepted as a third year cadet, doing her medical residency at
Starfleet Medical Headquarters in San Franciso. She graduated from the
Academy at the age of twenty-one. Tia was first commissioned as an ensign

Background History:
Jessica Knight was found a the age of three on the floating city, Oseon, by
the Authorities of Family Welfare on Stardate 8505.21 at the age of three.
Her neighbors were the ones to make the call when they heard constant crying
coming from the apartment next door. When the Authorities of Family Welfare
recovered the child, they had no clue as to who the parents were or where to
find the next living relative. Much to the dismay of the
Authorities of Family Welfare, no one knew the name of the child or what the
parents had looked liked. The family, if one could call it that, had pretty
much kept to themselves. The only thing they could find in the apartment
was the child's clothes and few of the toys. After doing a little more
investigation, they had found a children's book with a name template on the
inside cover of the book, that read Jessica Ashlyn Knight. They assumed this
was the child's name and kept it as such.
The Authorities of Family Welfare contacted the administrator of the city
and had started to find a foster family for little girl. While conducting
the search, the Administrator of Oseon, went to visit Jessica in the medical
infirmary. The administrator stayed with Jessica until the Authorities
arrived to place her in the care of the Lorrinn family.
When Jessica turned 9 years of age, the city of Oseon was attacked and
conquered by the Dominion forces. Her foster family was killed in the attack
by the Jem'Hadar (She refers to them as lizards because she thinks they look
like lizards). As the city was being taken over, Jessica took a few
belongings and sneaked aboard a luxury yacht, The Midnight Star, which was
owned by Captain Jaryd Kavan.
Jessica was discovered by Kavan when he entered his cabin and found her
sleeping on his bed. At first he didn't like the idea of having a child tag
along with him, especially when he made his "business" deals. As time grew,
Kavan enjoyed her company and has allowed her in on some of the transactions
he dealt with from the Orion Syndicate. Although there were some
transactions, Kavan kept secret and kept privately to himself for fear it
would harm
his niece as he refered to her. It was on one such transaction, where he was
unable to deliver a precious package to an exotic animal keeper. Kavan was
brutally killed in front of Jessica and she was taken captive to be sold as a
child entertainer on Kala'Uun.
Although, Jessica had been beaten she had found away to escape the Syndicate
and rescue a Ki'tel dragon. A dragron with colorful wings and small enough
to sit on on her shoulder when he isn't flying. The dragon, who Jessica
named Luck, helped her just as she helped him. Together, the two of them
fled the people that had tormented them. Jessica and Luck currently find
themselves in the saftey of a Federation Starship, USS Aldrin.
On Stardate 9901.25, Jessica was showing a Romulan kid around the Baazar on
the Aldrin when they entered the weapons shop owned by SparrowHawk. Unknown
to her, SparrowHawk was an agent for the crime organization, Orion Syndicate.
After a couple of months of his survalliance on the small child, SparrowHawk
made is move on Stardate 9903.02 to take the child off the ship. His efforts
in doing so failed and he was subsequently put to rest for his
infractions. The horror that Jessica had under gone while she was shortly
with him has not been revealed. Although, she did recieve medical attention
for numerous cuts, bruises, and the removal of a behavioral implant that had
been surgically placed at the base of her brain and brain stem. (see detials
below)
While doing her first figher patrol with Lieutenant Jase Decker, the squad
leader of the Wildcards aboard the USS Aldrin, she picked up something
strange on her fighter's monitors. She informed Jase Decker and they went to
investigate. Upon their investigation, they found it to be some kind of
anomaly. Before, anything could be done, Jessica's ship was sucked into the
anomly and then it closed around her fighter, despite the heroic efforts of
Decker. At first they feared Jessica lost forever, but the ship was spit out
of the wormhole anomly to the other end of the galaxy where she was
subsequently rescued by the USS Trailblazer, a ship that was on loan to the
crew of USS Lothlorien while they awaited a new ship.
Someday, Jessica hopes to recover The Midnight Star, a ship that her Uncle
Jaryd had promised her. When she arrived on the Aldrin, the only things
Jessica had in her pocession was a black leather pouch that slung over her
shoulders, inside she carries herbal medicene, a game of jacks, small bag of
candy, a small bottle of fizzyglug (soda), and 5 credits. The only she has
been wearing, since her escape, has been a pair of green stirrup
pants, an over-sized blue shirt and black vest with a belt, and a light blue
cloak. Now that she's been on the Aldrin and now the Lothlorien for awhile,
Jessica has lots of stuff and people that like her and help take care of her.

Personality:
Jessica is an out-going individual. She tries to be cheerful despite what
has happened to her and she likes recieving attention from those around her,
particularly from those she trusts. There are times where she can be
obnixious and annoying, and she's always got a smart aleck comment on hand.
Jessica is fearful of anyone that resembles lizard (Jem'hadar), and snake
people (Cardassians, because she thinks they look like snakes). And is
extremely afraid that people from the Syndicate will find her and hurt her.
Jessica will only talk (even then its only bits and peices) of what has
happened to her to a very select few as she has been lead to believe that
they will come and harm those she loves, that others will see her as a bad
person for the things that have happened to her, and that it is all her
fault. Jessica also seems ot have a general mistrust of women. This is an

that her small circle of friends and those she's adopted have all been male.
Reasons for this mistrust are unknown at this time. She will always try to
fight or stand up for her friends that she is loyal too. Jessica is smart
and always tries to look to stars where the future lies. Jessica hopes to

Mark of Ownership:
Jessica has the mark of ownership like all slaves do. Her mark isn't seen by
the naked eye for isn't a brand on the skin, or tattoo. Its a small chip
implant just inside her head at the base of her brain. The implant cannot be
detected by regular means of medical scans. The implant serves as a
transmitter and tracking device to locate the person incase the person
escapes. The implant also serves as a means of punishment and behavorial
management.
The implant sends out electric implulses that can range from mild to severe.
In the case of behavorial management, the implant will activate when the
entertainer, laborer or servant thinks negative thoughts or emotions. It
reminds them to think only good and happy thoughts despite what the situation
is. In case of punishment, the same electric impulses are triggered causing
severe pain the stems from the back of the head and eventually it will
course through out the body. No amount of pleasant thoughts can control this
if it is used for punishment. The implant also prevents any telepathic scans
that go deeper than the just the thought process. If a telepath tries to
break that barrier, the implant is triggers that part of the brain and throws
the telepath back, almost like telekinetic throw. The removal of the implant
must be done so with care, otherwise it could implode inside the
head, causing extreme pain, and then death. The slaves with this type of
ownership usually do not know about the implant inside them. Jessica has

Personal Profile: Known only by his family as Keisuke, Isato has a very
confusing past. Sent into the current time from the future, he resides with
his parents...or his parents to be. His attitude is very laid back, and he
seems to be speaking through his thoughts more then his mouth. Dispite his
casual manner, there is much seriousness in him. The struggles he endured in
the future have taken away the
joys of his youth, and clouded them in responsibility...for his life..and
others. He keeps to himself and rarely is seen on the ship by anyone but his
family. What he does with all his time is unknown, due to the fact that he's
never in Medical, or Security. Hamaha keeps a close watch on him for
companionship and safety. His temper has been known to get the better of him,

Granted his father's wolf-like senses from birth, he's come to know them
well. His sight is nearly perfect in the dark and his ears rarely fail to
alert him of danger. He wields a longsword, taken from Tseng's Compound when
he was younger. His past is hidden deep in his mind, he speaks of it to
noone, save Julio. Skilled in the martial arts and Kendo, he continues

Julio, a

His new found friendship with Julio Mancuso has been a great help in
fitting into the timeline here, since Julio was sent into the past as well.
The tempers of the two often lead to heated arguments, but they resolve
quickly. With easy access to the ship known only as 'Raven' the two carry out
many adventures. Little is known of this ship, save it's existence. Most
often clamped and cloaked to the Aldrin's Hull, it ventures out for brief
travels
in time and space, at the whim of Isato and his computer. Isato has come to
trust Julio with far more than details of his past life, which would send
most into a fit of anger, or vomiting.
Monou Fuuma- A childhood.....friend?....of Isato's. He has returned to
join again with Isato, as they were allied in their younger years. Fuuma is
19 years old, and VERY protective of Isato. He believes noone can be trusted
near Isato, save him. He retains special abilities enabling him to manipulate
people's minds. Though his actions may seem cruel to others, it is the only
thing he knows from living such a life, and he only knows to protect
Isato.

<Personal History>
Younger Years:
At a young age Richard showed great signs of intelligence and
creative skills. Although he does blame his two older
sisters for harassing and pestering him. As he grew old his
skills increased along with his overall intelligence. During
his basic schooling he was known for getting into, and
starting, trouble of all kinds. This trouble was in the form of
jokes, fights, revenge, and philosophical debates ending with
the opponent left with a minor wound of some kind. As he
grew older he began to control his temper a tad bit, but the
problem still persisted and even now shows up. At age 14, he
decided it was time to move onto bigger things, and with
that he applied for Starfleet Academy.
Academy Years
His Academy years were fairly well. He was able to limit his
confrontations to only three every semester. He was often
getting into heated debates with many of the professors, some
in which he blew the pants off them. During his forth year in the
Academy his father past away. This upset him very much
and only with the help of his best friend, Bruce Handlon, was
he able to overcome his grief. He graduated out of the Academy
with high honors and a better knowledge of diplomacy. He then
was soon sent to Deep Space 2.
After Academy:
After a year of working on Deep Space 2, he grew very bored
and wished to see the galaxy like most young people. So he
signed onto the USS Merlin and was happy to be in this new
environment. During his assignment on the USS Merlin, his sisters,
who had been older than him and were in Starfleet as well,
disappeared on an away mission on the planet Milatia 9. He took
a personal leave and went to Milatia 9 himself as a last desperate
search for his missing siblings. He was captured by a Dominion
cruiser and put into a refuge camp until the camp was liberated
4 months later. He had been tourchard and nearly driven insane
but after a long and difficult procedure, Starfleet physicians
were able to change him back to the man he once was. But
still the memories remain and he often has nightmares of the
camp. With had no results of his two sister's disappearance, he
returned the USS Merlin where he stayed two more months before
transferring back to Earth to cope with his lose with his mother and
father. After some convincing by his friends, he returned to ship duty
on the USS Dallas-B. His parents, while on vacation, were
assimilated by the borg. Two years later he joined onto the USS
Dark Angel. After the original Dark Angel was decommissioned he
was transferred on to the USS Aldrin

Personal Profile: Known only by his family as Keisuke, Isato has a very
confusing past. Sent into the current time from the future, he resides with
his parents...or his parents to be. His attitude is very laid back, and he
seems to be speaking through his thoughts more then his mouth. Dispite his
casual manner, there is much seriousness in him. The struggles he endured in
the future have taken away the
joys of his youth, and clouded them in responsibility...for his life..and
others. He keeps to himself and rarely is seen on the ship by anyone but his
family. What he does with all his time is unknown, due to the fact that he's
never in Medical, or Security. Hamaha keeps a close watch on him for
companionship and safety. His temper has been known to get the better of him,
on more than one occasion. She is the only one able to keep him from doing
anything stupid....most of the time. His devotion to his family goes beyond
anything else and he greatly wishes he could return home someday....
Granted his father's wolf-like senses from birth, he's come to know them
well. His sight is nearly perfect in the dark and his ears rarely fail to
alert him of danger. He wields a longsword, taken from Tseng's Compound when
he was younger. His past is hidden deep in his mind, he speaks of it to
noone, save Julio. Skilled in the martial arts and Kendo, he continues
practicing to perfect his skills. Linked telepathically to his parents and
Julio, a
thought rarely passes that he does not hear..though he knows when privacy is
wanted.
His new found friendship with Julio Mancuso has been a great help in
fitting into the timeline here, since Julio was sent into the past as well.
The tempers of the two often lead to heated arguments, but they resolve
quickly. The two share quarters on the Aldrin, among other things. With easy
access to the ship known only as 'Raven' the two carry out many adventures.
Little is known of this ship, save it's existence. Most often clamped and
cloaked to the Aldrin's Hull, it ventures out for brief travels in time and
space, at the whim of Isato and his computer. Isato has come to trust Julio
with far more than details of his past life, which would send most into a fit
of anger, or vomiting.
Monou Fuuma- A childhood.....friend?....of Isato's. He has returned to
join again with Isato, as they were allied in their younger years. Fuuma is
19 years old, and VERY protective of Isato. He believes noone can be trusted
near Isato, save him. He retains special abilities enabling him to manipulate
people's minds. Though his actions may seem cruel to others, it is the only
thing he knows from living such a life, and he only knows to protect
Isato.
Unknown to the Aldrin's crew, Isato carries another reason for being on
the Aldrin. On a side mission from the future, there are many tools and
devices hidden aboard the Aldrin which he uses to carry out his mission. The
technology, alien and from the future, is completely undetectable by the
Aldrin, Valentine, or any other ship in the current timeline. Only recently
has he begun to confide in Julio with this classified information.
Physical Profile:
Decently built due to his martial arts training. He wears at all times a
black Japanese school uniform, a small patch on his collar displays his class
and fighting style. A rarity to see him in the corridors, he passes the crew
as though they were ghosts. His eyes have a penetrating stare to them, he
smiles rarely. His black hair falls free around his eyes, giving him a
seemingly messy hair style. His
hands are almost always in his pockets, one holding his communicator, the
other clenching a small reminder..one that noone has ever seen. Though he
doesn't carry his long sword with him always, he is always armed with some
form of weapon.

Past History
Romulan History: Kartan began his life on Romulus, where his parents were
murdered. Believing that the Federation was responcible, Kartan joined the
Romulan Fleet, as well as subjecting himself to numerous experiments. His
anger caused him to attack Federation ships. However, he chnaged his mind for
an unknown reason and deserted the Romulan Fleet, arriving at Earth. After
subjecting himself the
the scrutiny of the Federation Council, Kartan was allowed to join the
Federation Fleet. However, he is now being observed by Federation agents to
make sure he does not turn against the Federation.
Federation History: Kartan serves on the Aldrin, acting as a Chief Tactical
officer. He has an excellent record, and has never been thrown into the brig
or sent before a discharge committee. Kartan has also shown his personal
willingness to put his life in danger to help his friends. Of all his
weaknesses, Kartan is zealous about his work and rarely
allows himself to engage with others. This causes Kartan to have bad
communication skills outside of his personal friends.
Biological Information
During his years in the Romulan fleet, Kartan subjected himself to what would
become a failed super soldier program. Due to these experiments, Kartan has
picked up a few minor mutations to his body. It should be noted that none of
these mutations warrent Kartan to be outlawed for genetic changing.
Regeneration: Kartan has very limited regeneration capabilities, limiting him
from repairing major damage to his body. This ability may repair small cuts
or create a thin layer of skin to close off a wound.
Sight: Kartan also has perfect sight. However, the experiments caused his
eyes to become perfectly black.
Endurance: Kartan is able to push himself beyond normal limits. This causes
him to push himself harder and longer.

Parents are retired Starfleet Officers, They adopted me when I was Five years
of age. They found me wondering and injured, they took the matter to
Starfleet headquarters and petitioned to adopt me, since they had no children
of their own they chose to raise me. My childhood was somewhat strange and at
times difficult. But, I had two very loving parents, even if they were Human.
Three years after
I was adopted they adopted my brother Velik, who starts Starfleet academy
next year, he is Romulan and was Six months old when adopted. My parents
always encouraged us to do our very best and Starfleet was a decision made by

Alex was born in San Diego, where he was raised by his natural parents,
living in the same town and home until he left for Starfleet Academy at the
age of eighteen. Alex was a bright and cooperative child, always eager to
help others, especially his mother. He showed a penchant for learning and an
innate artistic ability at an early age, learning to read by age three
and showing a maturity for visual arts usually found in children much older.
The Styles family was not always the happy family that the casual observer
would see. Anthony Styles was an abusive husband. The majority of the abuse
was directed toward his wife, Linda; as a young child, Alex was often witness
to his father's abuse of his mother. Toward the end of his freshman year at
the Academy, Alex and Anthony were involved in an altercation that resulted
in the death of the elder Styles [see Starfleet Judiciary attachment.]
After graduating from the Academy Alex was accepted into Starfleet
Intelligence. Alex spent the next four years working as an SI operative,
accumulating several commendations and metals. He achieved the rank of
Lieutenant Commander in almost record time for an SI officer. While working
undercover with his cousin, Alex and Rick Styles earned the name "Shadow
Thieves." -- often covertly stealing latinum and information for purposes
that Starfleet
would have flatly denied had they ever been caught.
Desiring a new challenge, Alex voluntarily surrendered his SI commission and
accepted a general commission in order to accept a post on a starship. Alex
is currently an ensign, posted as a science officer on the U.S.S. Aldrin.
Alex was married for a short while to Tavi Kellan. The marriage produced
one child, Lauren Linda Styles. Alex and Tavi divorced and he was heartbroken
by this. Alex is was seeing Phaedra Ree and they dissolved. He dated a woman
named Misery and a woman named Dana. Currently, Alex is dating Aris from the
U.S.S. Aldrin. After they dated, Aris and Alex wed.
At an early age, Alex was artistic and read books. Alex enjoys reading,
painting, writing, singing, running, swimming, and spending time with his
friends. His favorite authors are Shakespeare, Hemmingway and Samuel Clemens;
his favorite painters are Picasso and Rembrandt.

outgoing and easy to talk to. Alex is a very bright and artistic man. Alex
should be a welcome addition to any crew. His father was in May -- two weeks

he had to. Alex regrets killing his father and he thinks about it everyday.

Alex had a traditional education, attending George Washing Preschool
(ages 3-5), San Diego Elementary School #14, Kindergarten through Grade
Three, and San Diego Elementary School #23, Grades Four through Eight. Alex
was an artistic child and learned to read at the early age of three. An
eager and fast learner, Alex excelled in his studies, helping at times to
tutor his peers,
making both his parents and teachers very proud. Alex attended John Glenn
Secondary Academy, Grades Nine through Twelve, where he graduated in the top
three percent of his class. Alex was played football [tight end], ran track
and swam. It was in high school that Alex rediscovered his love and talent
for painting, particularly portrait painting, oils on canvass primarily.

PRE-ACADEMY HISTORY
Javier Castillo was born and raised in the Mojave Desert town of St. Johns,
California, son of the owner of the town's two power plants. Even as a young
child, everyone new that he was going to be far less than the average 6 ft 3
in/ 225 lbs. However, he shortness never bother him. In fact, he kind of
enjoyed being the smallest human in town. It was his way of being unique.
As Javier grew older, his intellectual abilities grew and grew. He
consistently scored amongst the highest in his class, and his social
capabilities were extremely well-refined. Some experts attribute that to be a
natural survival ability, brought about by the ever-growing size differential
between him and his peers.
During his childhood, Javier was befriended by a retired smuggler who went by
Lodie. Lodie, who was impressed at Javi's advanced intellect at such a young
age, became somewhat of a mentor to him up until his death two years before
Javi entered the academy. Lodie gave Javi psychological insights about many
different races and taught him how to use that to his advantage, which
explains Javier's great skills of negotiation and psychology.
Athletically, Javier excelled at baseball. In high school, he was a three
year starter at second base, for the Galactically regarded East McCoy High
School. He was offered scholarships to many universities and even courted by
professional teams as well before his appointment to the Academy.
His personal life during high school, especially his last year, was very
eventful. His freshman year, his began dating a sophomore by the name of
Alyssa Nielsen, a highly regarded human female, as well as one of Javi's
closest childhood friends. This triggered a hostile response in many of
Javi's peers. If it weren't for a few of his "larger" friends, Javi would
have been involved in fights countless times. Over the years that animosity
between him
and those people dissolved.
A few weeks before his senior year began, Javier impregnated Alyssa. Despite
the initial response between the two families, the ordeal went over very
well. Until they learned of Javier's appointment to the Academy. It came as a
shock to everyone, including Javi. Every year, each Mojave town receives an
honorary appointee to the Academy for being the largest supplier of rare ores
to Starfleet. Javi had forgotten that he had entered the running for
that spot at the beginning of his Junior year and forgot to withdraw his
name. As per town tradition, Javi was unable to turn the appointment down. He
left to the academy 6 weeks after the birth of his daughter, Elana.
ACADEMY HISTORY
Javier's stay at the Academy was one filled with a lot of personal turmoil.
Not long after his departure, his ex-girlfreind and the mother of his child,
Alyssa, was diagnosed with severe depression and undifferentiated
schizophrenia. During his first year, Javi's parents gained custody of little
Elana
while Alyssa underwent psychiatric treatment. He went back down to St. Johns
to see her as often as he could, but Alyssa herself refused to see him during
his visits. Already feeling emotionally strained, her refusal to see him
added to the pain, since Javier already felt responsible for her illness.
During his second year, Javier's parents gained full custody of Elana as
Alyssa was permanently institutionalized. Javi continued to visit home as
frequently as possible, but at this point, was too scared to visit Alyssa,
afraid of the person he might find.
During his third year, Elana was old enough to come and visit her father. Not
knowing her mother and being raised almost exclusively by her paternal
grandparents, Elana enjoyed profusely the time she spent with her father.
Also during this year, Javier decided face his fears and visit Alyssa. Who he
encountered horrified him. Alyssa was no longer the person he knew, she had
become violent, obsessive, delusional, and suicidal. Javier returned to the
Academy emotionally devastated. Refusing to seek any counseling, he bottled
up that fear and anguish the sight of Alyssa gave him.
During his fourth year, Javi finally began trying to gain perspective on
things. He chose to forget about Alyssa as a part of his life, and focus his
attention on his last year of the Academy and involvement in Elana's life. At
the time of his graduation Elana was four years of age, fortunately for Javi,
all questions about Alyssa were directed towards his parents, who made it
perfectly clear not to mention mommy to daddy.
Academically, Javier grades remained above par. His showed no direct
preferred field, but excelled in classes that were along the fields of
psychology, engineering, and diplomacy. An abbreviated rundown of Javier's

PSYCHOLOGICAL PROFILE
Javier is a very well-rounded individual. During his stay at the Academy, he
had his share of personal turmoil. Despite it all, he managed to keep his
personal life out of his academic life for the most part. Javier is a very
sociable person, enjoys to talk and joke, and is not afraid to initiate
conversation. One of his strong points, however, is knowing when NOT to talk,
something most "social butterflies" lack.
Javi is a risk-taker, he's not afraid to put himself out on the line, whether
it be for the shear thrill, or out of necessity. For the most part, he tries
to keep from endangering others with his risks unless absolutely necessary.
Emotionally, Javier has shown signs of strain and fatigue due to his personal
situation. There were times when he did battle with acute depression, which
lead to lack of sleep and physical weariness, but he got through those bouts
well enough. If not careful, Javier could become an emotional wreck, which
would surely then start of filter over into his work.
His relationship with his daughter his probably what got him through his
toughest times. Little Elana adores her father, which in turn gives Javi a
badly needed lift. He tries to stay involved as much as he can from the
distance he is.
Javier's weak point is that he can sometimes feel outspoken and feels that
his has something to prove. Being the smallest of his classmates, and not
fitting into the cultural norm of tall, strong, manual labor ready, Mojave
men, he always felt that urge that he needed to find a way to prove his
worth. Most of his peers feel he found the way through baseball and through
academics; graduating at the top of his class, and becoming a baseball legend
throughout the desert. However, that was not Javi's perspective, he still
felt that he could prove more, and that philosophy carried over into the
academy. If he doesn't monitor himself, he tends to overwork, especially when
his personal life is bothering him.
Overall, Javier Castillo is deemed fit for duty.
PHYSICAL PROFILE
For his size, Javier keeps himself in very good shape. He has a very athletic
build. His overall health for the most part is excellent. He has tendencies
towards low-level stress which in turn can affect his stamina, from both a
mental and physical point of view. However it is during these times where
he works the most and that may lead to injury from time to time. He has had
minor strains and aches, but nothing that cannot be cured by an off-duty rest
or shower. All in all, Mr. Castillo passed all his physical examinations and
is considered fit for duty.
OTHER ABILITIES
Javier's has a very wide range of abilities that will prove useful. He claims
his lifelong motto to be one word: "Improvise." If his academy work is any
indication, its a fitting one. His creativity is one of his biggest assets.
Although having no empathic ability, Javi has a knack for reading emotion.
Subsequently, he knows how to use that against a person if necessary. This
ability comes from both his fathers history as a business man, and his
tutelage from his smuggler friend "Lodie." Javi showed excellence in many
covert op fields as well. Which could also be attributed to a smugglers
influence.

OVERALL ASSESSMENT
As an officer, Javi will be very well-rounded. In addition to his normal post
duties, he will be able to perform at most other positions if needed. As a
crew member, Javier will gel nicely into the environment he is subjected to.
His social nature makes him highly adaptable under most circumstances.
Overall, his personality is conducive to most environments and will pose no
conflict.

Alex was born in San Diego, where he was raised by his natural parents,
living in the same town and home until he left for Starfleet Academy at the
age of eighteen. Alex was a bright and cooperative child, always eager to
help others, especially his mother. He showed a penchant for
learning and an innate artistic ability at an early age, learning to read by
age three
and showing a maturity for visual arts usually found in children much older.
The Styles family was not always the happy family that the casual observer
would see. Anthony Styles was an abusive husband. The majority of the abuse
was directed toward his wife, Linda; as a young child, Alex was often witness
to his father's abuse of his mother. Toward the end of his freshman year at
the Academy, Alex and Anthony were involved in an altercation that resulted
in the death of the elder Styles [see Starfleet Judiciary attachment.]
After graduating from the Academy Alex was accepted into Starfleet
Intelligence. Alex spent the next four years working as an SI operative,
accumulating several commendations and metals. He achieved the rank of
Lieutenant Commander in almost record time for an SI officer. While working
undercover with his cousin, Alex and Rick Styles earned the name "Shadow
Thieves." -- often covertly stealing latinum and information for purposes
that Starfleet
would have flatly denied had they ever been caught.
Desiring a new challenge, Alex voluntarily surrendered his SI commission and
accepted a general commission in order to accept a post on a starship. Alex
is currently an ensign, posted as a science officer on the U.S.S. Aldrin.
Alex was married for a short while to Tavi Kellan. The marriage produced
one child, Lauren Linda Styles. Alex and Tavi divorced and he was heartbroken
by this. Alex is was seeing Phaedra Ree and they dissolved. He dated a woman
named Misery and a woman named Dana. Currently, Alex is dating Aris from the
U.S.S. Aldrin. After they dated, Aris and Alex wed.
At an early age, Alex was artistic and read books. Alex enjoys reading,
painting, writing, singing, running, swimming, and spending time with his
friends. His favorite authors are Shakespeare, Hemmingway and Samuel Clemens;
his favorite painters are Picasso and Rembrandt.

Alex is smart by nature and protective of those he cares about. He is
outgoing and easy to talk to. Alex is a very bright and artistic man. Alex
should be a welcome addition to any crew. His father was in May -- two weeks
before end of his first year at the academy. He mourns the loss of his
father, but felt he had to do what
he had to. Alex regrets killing his father and he thinks about it everyday.
Alex was put on probation by Starfleet for his father's death.

Alex had a traditional education, attending George Washing Preschool
(ages 3-5), San Diego Elementary School #14, Kindergarten through Grade
Three, and San Diego Elementary School #23, Grades Four through Eight. Alex
was an artistic child and learned to read at the early age of three. An
eager and fast learner, Alex excelled in his studies, helping at times to
tutor his peers,
making both his parents and teachers very proud. Alex attended John Glenn
Secondary Academy, Grades Nine through Twelve, where he graduated in the top
three percent of his class. Alex was played football [tight end], ran track
and swam. It was in high school that Alex rediscovered his love and talent
for painting, particularly portrait painting, oils on canvass primarily.
Alex attended Starfleet Academy [9009.14 - 9405.26], graduating in the top
five percent of his graduating class. His course of studies was centered on,
but not restricted to the general Starfleet education program, which
included: Astrophysics, piloting, basic medical training, sciences, with an
empathsis on
