Computer, open log:
we began interesting mission today. We are examining the ruins on the plnet
Kroogle when a High priestess materializes to warn us of impending danger.
Suddenly, the Agamemnon begins losing altitude and falling towards the
planet's surface.
Although the remaining creew stopps the shop's fall, it is doubtful that
they will stop it altogether. Meanwhile, the ship has lost contact with the
Away Team.Fortunately, no one has at yet been injured.

::Begin Log::
We began this mission by heading out to the Kroogle sector. Thier was
supposedly some ruins that were left by an early but advance society, so we
were ordered to go their. FstLtJalara led an away team down to the planet's
surface and took records of everything down their. I scanned over all of
Solo's reports, that he had most graciously left me, and found that he had
done excellent work. I proceeded to scan over the entire ship and search for
any problems that might surface. I encountered a
small error in the aft shields and proceeded to mend. Meanwhile, on the
surface, the away team encountered some type of being on the planet. At that
moment we lost all power and the ship proceeded to drop into the atmosphere.
It took me several tries before I could successfully bring impulse power up
and let the ship regain its altitude adjustments. We regained control of the
ship and set a standard orbit around the system.

What do you know, we get pulled into some planet's amosphere by some weird
forceful Ferengi. While en-route to Kroogle sector of space on Starfleet
investigation mission of some ancient ruins. The away team quickly beamed
down, and I detected no additional signs of life, until it happened. The
Ferengi came out of a weird building, still not appearing on my scanners, so
I quickly informed the captain, only to have our ship ripped out of orbit and
pulled towards the surface of the planet. All else failed,
the comm systems went down, and we were defensless. What to do? So, out of
nowhere we just stop and all is well again.........
Personal Logs
Oh well, we were lost in our own thoughts again, or at least I was, <For an
average 15 year old>, and I have just been having a bad year so far, so don't
let me take it out on you good people.
Anyway, I am extrememly happy at Dakar's promotion, and curious as to what
happened to the old captain, but all is well anyway. I was shocked at the
suddenness of the pull and banged my head on the console, but neglected to
tell Uhura, due to her REALLY BAD bedside manner, and I frankly just don't
like it one bit, but nevermind. ::shuts off recorder::

finally got the Helm back on line we we'er almost through the atmospher.
Worf got it back just in time. When we beamed the away team up Sala went to
Jalara's quarters to rest but she became ill .
I went down to help her but Jalara was using her powers to keep her well .
We left the planet and headed to sector592.

On the away team with Solo and Cobek, Uhura and Giana, we meet the High
Priestess Moleena. She desperatly wanted us off the planet, and the Agamemnon
out of the system, and said so. We tried talking to her, or rather Solo and
Cobek did, saying everything I wanted to, but she wouldn't listen and somehow
dragged the Agamemnon down from it's orbit and into the atmosphere. We could
see it from the planet, and I could hear it when I called out to Sala for her
to stop the decent by using the power in her
knife. I'm surprised she could hear me with all of the telepathic noise
around, but she did, and eventually did stop the ship.
Mavrick must be good, because he got the ship back into it's orbit without
anymore of Sala's help. They were doing some repairs so the away team was
stuck with Moleena for another few minutes. She really wanted us off the
planet, I don't know why. We thought the civilization there had died out.
When we got back to the ship I immeditally went to see my sister. She was in
telekinetic shock, something I learned how to treat when I was back on
Thentheia. I practically had to drag her back from shock, her mind-touch gone
from crimson to a dark gray. Mavrick came down to offer assistance, and Solo
had offered eariler, so by the time Cobek called me I was pretty much
annoyed, even though I didn't mean to be. He wanted to know if I could feel
some telepathic blob or something, and I told him that I
was a little busy with Sala right now and not concentrating on much else.
My sister's condition now is much improved.

I have just arrived here on the Agamemnon, and have been reinstated as
Second Officer. I will be officially begining my duties on Star Date
9602.20, in which I will report to the bridge for the first time in 5 months.
When I did arrive, we encountered some "being" on the planets surface,
it seemed to be pulling us into the atmosphere because we were intruding. It
asked us to leave, but because of repairs, we were stuck in standard orbit.
When the Captain asked me to scan for lifeforms, I found nothing, but
when I scanned for energy readings, I came across tiny electric impulses on
the surface, equivelant to the activity in the cebral cortex of a humanoid
lifeform. Although as impossible as it seemed, these beings are only a state
of conciousness that can take humanoid form.
The creatures again, asked us to leave, this time pulling us farther
into the atmosphere... Engineering had finished repairs just in time, and
pulled us out of there.
If it is ever possible to aproach the planet and not be in danger, I
would say these creatures would make the most interesting study. Untill
then, all we have is my scans.

I began this mission trying to get the engines back online. Something from
the surface of the planet was pulling us toward the planet like a tractor
beam. It was immensely strong because it some how drained all of the power
from the engines and other vital systems. The ship had started to penetrate
the planet's outer atmoshpere. I proceeded to the bridge to see if I could
regain control of the ship from there. I rerouted all Engineering controls
to the Bridge Engineering console. Once I entered
the bridge I proceeded to fix Ens Mavrick's console. After I replaced some
fused fiber-optic wires and miniconduits the console was usable. I then
proceeded to power up the engines. We had penetrated the third layer of
atmosphere before I brought the engines back online. We regained control of
the ship and entered into standard orbit. Capt Dakar then ordered that all
away team members beam back up to the ship.

After managing to stabalize our orbit arround the planet Kroogle, Maverick
manuevered us back into standard orbit, as Cobek joined the away team
investigating the ruins. Joshua was finally able to get through the
interferance to contact the away team. They informed us of the visitation by
the High Priestess Moleena, a peculiar revelation indeed, since we did not
detect any lifesigns on the planet, even with the newly enhanced sensor array
working properly. Moleena was demanding that we leave the
planet, and it was infered that she was responsible for the Agamemnon
falling from orbit.
Worf was quickly trying to finish repairs to the helm and thrusters, in order
that we may leave as soon as possible. Obviously we must have posed some
unforseen threat to them, or they would not have been so demanding that we
leave. Considering that our engines where disrupted, it may have been the
field generated by our engines that bothered them. Cobek and Joshua analyzed
the planet just after the away team returned onboard and discovered energy
patterns that closely resembled those of a sentient
being's conscious brain. There where many of these energy patterns about
the planet, and it can only be assumed that this race did not die off at all,
but evolved into a higher state of being. I only wish we had known the
fields eminating from our engines had caused them problems, and that we could
have had a better opertunity to learn about this culture.

the wedding, so his abductors, which turned out to be Romulan, were let on
the ship by one of the crew. The Fed was left with one clue, a neutrino
signature that was heading toward the neutral zone. When the signature was
followed, communications were picked up regarding Maarek. These were traced
to a planet were he was being held and was eventually
rescued from by an away team after a nice battle on ground and in space. We
also encountered a ship needing assistance with a woman in pre-mature labor,
who was beamed to sick bay and along with Maarek and some injured crew are
all currently there. There was suspision cast upon Lt. JAW as a possible

While patroling space between Cardassian and Federation territory
investigating a recent escalation of Maquis attacks, one such attack occured.
The group had managed to obtain the Agamemnon's command codes, and used them
to overrun the ship for supplies and kidnapped me as well.
After they took me aboard their ship, they reactivated me and stated they
where interested in obtaining the technology used in my construction. Then
with a sinister laugh, one stated this would of course come at the expense of
my conscious existance. I failed to see the humor in this remark, but the
others in the room seemed to share in his laughter.
After some commotion, they beamed me down to some nearby planet, along with
the medical supplies they had stolen. I am uncertain what planet or where I
am, I only hope that the crew will be able to find me. If not, I would
certainly expect that the crew leave me behind as a lost cause if the risk is
too great. I have noted the presence of large quantities of Maquis
personnel.

She felt a overwhealming sadness engulf her as she thought of the detoried

Today I guess was rather odd, it all started with me just sitting around on
my butt on a planet of my childhood, that which has a Maquis base located not
to far from my encampment. After rolling off the cliff, totally by accident,
I found myself in a lake which was very stressfull since I don't know how to
swim. After I got myself out I made my way to the base, singing all the
while. After reaching my destination, I lead the away team inside to Captain
Dakar's cell, it was extremily easy to open,
considering the fact that I have been inside that one cell countless times
before, and had always gotten out. Then we were beamed out. Then all was
good.

muttered. But what do they know!?!?!?
We were èn routè to rescue the captain from the strong hold but we still had
great problems. We couldn't find the base on the planet.
This problem was soon resolved by myself destroying a satellite in orbit
which was emmiting a strong scattering field which was keeping my sensors
from finding them. Then when we finally got the coordinates and forwarded
them to the away team, the power grid was starting to fluxuate. What is a
tactical officer to do? Anyway, I am pleased to say that we got the captain
back and hope to continue my voyages with the great Agamemnon!!

Whatta day. After our excouragement to the Maquis base to rescue the captain,
we were granted "Shore Leave" by StarFleet. What a joke, I mean, last time
we had this kind of GIFT from the core, nevermind. I don't know what to say.
Just another mission almost.
First we were off to some luxury planet to enjoy R&R in the most advanced
holodecks in the universe. I neglected to beam down for a bit, but then
suddenly out of nowhere, the entire crew except for Solo, went into a
holodeck and started their fun.
What happened next was that the doors to the holodeck locked behind the
Captain, and we couldn't do anything. The ships power started to flux and we
couldn't beam up immediatly. We started our stupid fights with SWORDS , How
freakin' dumb, and then magically the doors opened.
Just to test our minds abilities to stressful situations, Dakar did a nasty
experiment on us.

What a shore leave! We were told that we could go onto Breen to have
fun, so Solo thought it would be the perfect oppurtunity for me to start my

then I was ordered by Nomist to come with him. He kept calling me "m'lady"
and then when we got onto the holodeck, he gave me armor and a sword. I was
becoming wary of what was happening. I chickened out from a fight with a
knight while we were trapped on the holodeck. Then I
tried to get away from everyone by wandering off. Mav followed me and....
I'm not going to think about it anymore... We finally got out of the
holodeck, but there was fighting on board the Aggie, so we had to hurry back.
I hope we never have this kind of shore leave again!

~~~~~~~~~On Research Outpost Regal near Breen/Romulan Space~~~~~~~~~~
"Doctor..... we are ready" said the artificial computer core.
There were three crew members on board the research station... Doctor
Hilman (Human), and his two assistants, Paul Licklerman (Human), and Drednit
(Vulcan).
They have just completed a project that took decades to perfect, and the
Federation had deemed illegal. Why was something so secret and so important
put on an outpost so far away and in an area where it could be captured?
Docter Hilman gave a nod, than Paul and Drednit took there stations.
Hilman tapped furiously on a nearby padd, than said "Computer, activate
program Pegasus-Alpha 1.
"This is it" said Paul.
The lights inside the bridge dimmed than turned blue.
"Station succesfully cloaked" said the copmuter.
"Engaging sattelite weopons program on your mark doctor" said Drednit.
"Now!" exclaimed the doctor.
A nearby sattelite turned towards the station, and fired two low
frequency phaser blasts at the station.... than two high frequency beams....
than two photon torpedoes.... and finally two quantem torpedoes.... Each
passed throgh the cloaked station.
The outpost uncloaked, Paul poped open a bottle of champagne, and the
computer got starfleet command on the main viewer.
Doctor Hilman looked up and said "We did it!! Hahahaa we did it".
The admiral stood staring at the doctor with a smile on his face than
turned to his station tapping on a few buttons..... He said "The captain of
the USS Agamemnon is an android, I will inform him to that this is a priority
one mission, that he'll be briefed at your outpost, and to keep it secret,
the Agamemnon is nearby, after having shore leave on a Breen planet. I will
have them take the object to San Fransisco immediately.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~On Board the USS Agamemnon~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
First Lieutenant Tanok sat up in sick bay, aching from his stab wound in
the back.
"Stay down", said Sala.... "Your just gonna hurt yourself"
Doctor Nomist came over and injected a hypo into Tanok.
"Exactly what the heck was........" Tanok went unconscious.
Nomist smiled as he walked away and said "Keep him sadated until I fix
up that punctured rib of his.."
"Aye sir"
~~~Bridge~~~
Commander Haworth had the bridge when Ensign Freitas turned to him and
said "Commander, we have an incoming priority one message for Captain Dakar".
"Ack. Ensign" +TAPS+ "Captain Dakar, there is a priority one message for
you."
"Put it through to my ready room"
~~~ Back down south in SB~~~
Lieutenant Tanok sat up again, this time with no pain in his rib...
"Hmm... ya think the doctor would have warned me"
Sala tapped a few buttons on her tri-corder, "Well, you know him, any
way, your cleared to leave when you like".
Tanok looked under his blanket..... "And exactly where are my
cloths!?!?!!?!"
Sala smiled an replied "Over here" Sala through his cloths on his bed,
than closed a curtain so he could get dressed.
Tanok walked out of the curtain, fully dressed and said "thank you
ensign" and started to walk to the sickbay door when he felt a draft go down
his back..
Sala, Nomist and a patient being treated for a cold started to laugh as
they saw a gapping hole from where Tanok got his stab wound.
"Very funny", Tanok continued to exit SB.
~~~Meanwhile, on the Bridge~~~
Dakar walked out of his ready room and said "Helm! Lay in a course for
research outpost regal at warp 8 and engage".
"Aye sir" said Mavrick.
+TAPS+ "All hands, this is your captain speaking, we are currently on a
priority one mission where even I am being left in the dark, please take
caution, we are going to be on the Federation/Breen/Romulan border picking up
some cargo.
[Return to Archives | Return to Listing ]
~~~3 Hours Later~~~
The Aggie pulled up to the small outpost, and they beamed over a large
box into cargo bay 2 and Drednit to guard it.
Lieutenant Tanok greeted him, than put Ensign Arcanum, and Ensign Shadow
X on guard outside the door.
Drednit gave Tanok a padd and said "This is the route to Earth you will
be taking, please give it to your captain".
Tanok looked at the padd and said "But this'll take us right throught
Romulan space... I thought you "logical" vulcans are supposed to pick the
best course of action" said Tanok in a sarcastic voice.
"This is no concern of yours, deliver this to the captain
immediatley.... and what the heck would you know of logic?? You gave up
your life for that betazoid Tanasia".
Tanok gave a growl as he walked away.
~~~ On the Aggie on Course for Earth ~~~
Dakar said to Mavrick "How close will this course take us to any Romulan
strongholds?"
"I don't know sir, information on Romulan space is limited."
"Hmm... Ok thank you." Dakar turned to Haworth "You have the bridge"
Dakar headed down to cargo bay 1,and said to Drednit "I wanna know whats
in this box now, I will not risk my crew by taking this course with out a
cloak or a guard ship or anything!"
"You have no choice, now you will have to continue on this course, it is
the fastest to Earth"
"But if this cargo is so important, wouldn't you like to keep it as
protected as posible??"
~~~ Back on Regal ~~~
"DANGER- Three Romulan Warbirds decloaking" said the copmuter.
"What the??" said Doctor Hilman "On Screen"!
"Oh my, raise shields!" said Paul.
The Romulan ships fired on the small out post... The Regal returned fire
from the sattelites, with little result.
When the Regal's shields were down, an AT of Romulans beamed over to the
outpost, killed Doctor Hilman and Paul, and went rummaging throught the
computer banks.
"Life support terminated" said the copmuter "Hehehhehehe"
"Huh?......." All the Romulans on the station died.
"Self destruct in 10.... 9... 8...."
+TAPS+ One Romulan gasping for air said "Drednit is on board a
Federation vessel with the cloak heading through......."
"3.... 2... 1..."
The station was completly destroyed by the self destruct....
~~~ Two Days Later on the Aggie ~~~
"We are just about out of Romulan space" said Joshua.
"Good, the sooner the better" said Tanok.
"Oh my, LIEUTENANT!!!"
"What is it?"
"Four Romulan Warbirds decloaking!"
"RED ALERT!! SHIELDS UP!!! LOCK PHASERS AND QUANTEM TORPEDOES!!!
Captain Dakar and Commander Haworth to the Bridge!"
The Romulans fired upon the Agamemnon, and the Aggie returned fire,
again, with little effect. The Aggie was almost completely disabled when
Dakar arrived on the bridge...
He quickly pushed Mav off the Helm, and engaged to a course to a nearby
class C planet at warp 2.
+TAPS+ "All hands, I am initiating emergency landing sequence, prepare
for impact!" screamed the Captain "Lieutenant Worf, prepare a deflector
shield that would hide our energy readings on the planet now!"
"Done, engaging deflector" said Worf.
The Agamemnon swerved in the atmosphere, crash landing on the equater of
the planet.
"This is a cold planet, its summer where we are, and the temperature for
the next few days should be -5 to 2 degrees celsius. The air is breathable,
and in about a month, no one will be able to exit the ship because the
weather will be to cold." said Joshua.
"I don't plan on staying here that long" said Dakar.
Freitas said "Well, we have lost all primary power, I am keeping the
environmental controls on line with emergency power, but besides that, were
toast."
Drednit entered the bridge "Our top priority is still to get the cargo
to earth."
[Return to Archives | Return to Listing ]
"Exactly what is that cargo?" said Tanok.
+TAPS+ "Lieutenant Solo, I want you to go to Cargo Bay 2, and open up
that box" said Haworth.
Dakar gave a nod.
"Oh my.... Commander, if I am correct, this is a pegasus cloak"
"You mean to tell me, we were carrying a Pegasus cloak through Romulan
space?? why?" said Tanok.
"We nead it to defeat the Dominion, the Federation needs it as soon as
possible"
"You mean to tell me they couldn't wait a day or two to get it there
safley?" said Jalara.
"Wait a minute....." said Dakar +TAPS+ "Dakar to Nomist, you and Sala
get here on the double."
~~~ Nomist and Sala Arrive, they had to climb there because the TLs
were out of order ~~~
Nomist finished scanning Drednit "Sir, Drednit is Romulan, not Vulcan".
"Just what I thought..... sedate him until we get the TLs working
again." said Dakar
"But....." Drednit went into a deep sleep.
"I want to ATs ready, Haworth, Giana, Arcanum, and Jora take a runabout,
I want Jora to hook up the Pegasus cloak, and take it to Starfleet
Headquarters... (Use @) and I want Tanok, Mavrick, Jalara and Sala (Use #) to
take a duplicate of the pegasus cloak and head towards Outpost Regal to
retrieve them and bring them all to Star Fleet Head Quarters, so there safe.
The rest of you I want here to keep the Aggie alive, Haworth, when you get
out of Romulan space, I want you to send a distress

~~~ It took a day to complete the duplicate pegasus cloak, and also a day to
dig a tunnel system connecting each area of the ship, underground, because it
We were granted permission to go on shore leave, but leave it was not. We
stoped at a nearby breen outpost, who bragged of their sophisticated holodeck
systems, however, they turned out to be a total flop. They trapped most of
the crew in a bizare chain of mixed up and outright deranged programs that
where not at all what the crew requested. In the end, it seemed to be a
diversionary tactic, as a Breen made his way aboard the ship and began some
sabotage. The holodeck was eventually shut down, and
the crew freed, and it was found out our contact the entire time was himself
a holoprogram, possibly why he was unable to correct the situation.
Starfleet had just sent us new orders. We didn't know what to expect next,
but I was ready for anything out-of-the-ordainary. We were to pick-up a top
secret and highly experimental cloaking device. While enroute to aquire this
mega piece of machinery, the Agamemnon had suffered an unfortunate accident
and fallen towards a local planet near to the device. We were lost, and the
section of the crew that was out to recover the device by RunAbout, was
having trouble. They then equipped their shuttle with the
cloak to get themselves off the planet and to not be seen. Their cloak
failed.
The Agamemnon was then rescued by the USS Vertigo, a science scout ship, and
all in good time. The shuttle was later detected on sensors and followed up
upon. When we arrived at the Runabout, the warp core had overloaded and
breached, but luckily, they beamed down to the planet. They then sent the
overloading cloaking device up to the Romulans, and it exploded, taking out
everything in the area. And just when you thought everything was going good,
We crashed on a world of ice the Agamemnon is a hopeless mess . Tanok
Sala and I left the Agamemnon to bring a deycoy to Earth . During part of the
had to shut it down . Then a War brid aperared and we tried oiur best to save
the cloak but we lost our sheilds andthey had a tractor beam on us . Tanok
kncked Sala out and made her look as if she had a broken nosse . When the
Romulans hailed us they said they would take care of
watched the Warbird explode. As of now were stuck out in the middle of
A very interesting mission... I just wish that they would stop using me for
bait. I don't believe that there's been a mission since I started in which I
haven't been injured or used for some sort of bait. Oh well. We (Mav, Tanok
and myself) atarted out in a runabout bound for earth. After a few days, we
were attacked and Tanok had this brilliant idea that making me look like I
had a broken nose and making me unconsious would be a perfect way to make the
Romulans think that we had an injury. I guess
what he planned to do was to get them to beam me over, but in my place,
they'd send a fake cloaking device that would blow the Romulans up. I guess
it worked, because the next thing I knew, Mav was waking me upa and there was
no more Romulan War Bird
Lieutenant Tanok's Log SD 9603.24, the Agamemnon has crash landed on a
nearby planet to escape from Romulans who are trying to steal a Pegasus claok
that was created on a nearby research outpost.
There were 2 ATs sent... One lead by Lieutenant Commander Haworth that
was assigned to get help from the closest starfleet ship, and the second lead
by myself which was sent to pick up the crew members of the Science station
that was in distress because of the Romulans.
Both AT were fitted with a Pegasus Cloak that malfunctioned along the
way. We were forced to shut it down because it was leaking plasma into the
runabout. We were soon intercepted by a Romulan Warbird.
We (Ensign Sala D, and Lieutenant Junior Grade Mavrick) tricked the
Romulan ship into thinking that the cloak was really Ensign Sala injured.
Mav rigged the claok to explode, than there were fireworks :)
When we meet up with the relief ship, it'll take a whil to get the
On our way to Federation space we were attacked by a Romulan Warbird that had
spotted the plasma trail the malfunctioning cloak was giving off. We set the
warp core to blow and then beamed to this nearby planetoid with the cloak.
The explosion destroyed the warbird but also somehow scrambled the
transporter beam. We got beamed and it took us several days to locate
Arcanum and the cloak. He was injured but is nowdoing well. The cloak is
damged but repairable, I am however tempted to destroy the
bloody thing. It goes against too many laws and treaties, it is bad
news. Our current situation looks grim, we are running out of food and the
current cliamtic conditions are wearing everyone down. I hope we are found
soon. To make things even worse the thin and barely breathable atmosphere
makes strenous activities very hard, It is like working in slow motion.
Todays mission was for us to rescue the away teams and get back to epaire the
Agaamemnon.
We took the Vertigo to the planet where Haworth and Jalara wre at. Because
of the heavy disturbanc of a growing ion stom in the planet's atmmosphere, we
had to take a shuttle craft down to the planet.
We ( Mavrik and I ) jumped aboud one of the shuttle crafts and took offf for
a hole iint the storm. The hole, or eye, was dlosin eile the storm was
rappidly growing, so we had to be quick. Mavrk flord the shuttle to make it
thurgh the hole, luckly we had time to spare. Once we found the Away team we
we landed, got them abord and tryed to take off. We had diffulculty taking
off but we finally made it, just in time to go top speed directly for the eye
of that storm. Going though the storm we
experiense just a small amount of turbulance, evidently more than I tought.
Mavrk hit his head on something and fell unconsious. I took over the helm
and laid a coarse to rendezvous with Agamemnon.
Today was a day unlike others. For today, I actually did something. It all
started when I had gone to investigate a power fluxuation in a J-tube deep
within the Agamemnon herself. I found it a rather diffcult job, crawling
through those cramped spaces; I did make it. So as I was attepting to corect
the problem, a small explosion occured and smoke started to shoot out at me
in a seemingly steady stream. I crorected the problem, but only to relize
that what was left of all the little gizmos and the
Aggie parts were melting! Cuncks of the molten material started to ozze
down on me, and I was forced to crawls away. I had somehow manged to detroy
part of the ship it's self! I was very shocked, because everything I did was
the same exact procedure that any engineer would do to a simple power flux.
Could there be something really wrong with the Agagmemnon, that we just can't
fix?
some evidence of biological weapons experiments taking place on the planet,
where finding out too much. This society is a rather odd combination of
female dominated culture and a government heirarchy which consists mostly of
a council of 250 women. We are planning on sending down an
facility and also to find the source of the distress call that brought us
here to begin with. After the explosion that was detected in the
LET THE GAMES BEGIN!!!!!!
I walked onto the bride as casual as normal. The away team was down below on
the planet surface scanning for medical situations. I had just returned from
a short vacation, <MIssed the last sim>, and I was ready for anything and
everything. What could you expect?
The hum of the engines was resident as I scanned my sensors. When out of the
dark beyond, comes many small war-ships, harmless as individuals, but a
lethal threat as a group. What to do? So, I raised the shields, set the Red
Alert, and powered up phasers.
I was ordered to beam up the Away-Team and wait.
The fleet hailed us then, and the captain responded, which turned out to be
with deadly force. The phaser fire from me, along with that of another
shuttles, destroyed all but 2 or so ships. They fired upon our stardrive
section and we were forced to retreat, but we did so firing. Jalara and
Haworth noticed that the inhabitants of the planet died on their arrival.
Finally, the captain told the fleet and their entire species that when he
reported to Starfleet about their enrollment, he would have them denied
admission.
I continued where Tanok left off on the Away Team... with everyone dead.
First Lieutenant Jaylara Beamed down to the surface to join Mavrick and I in
a search for any living soles. With no luck, the captain called us back up
to the ship, a fleet of Bagonian ships had arrived and was threatning the
Aggie.
When the Bagonian fleet arrived with in fireing range, they sent out
little warning, than opened fire. Lieutenant Junior Grade Mavrick (Helmsman)
and Lieutenant Junior Grade Josh (Tactical Officer) did a terrific job
handling the ship against these foes, but there was just too many of them.
Captain Dakar sent out two runabouts to add extra fire power, one piloted by
First Lieutenant Jaylara and the other by me.
A komakazie Bagonian ship was heading right towards the Aggie.
Commander Haworth ordered us to interecept the ship, not to engage with it,
but just set a collision course. When the Bagonian ship saw we were not
bluffing, they stopped, lowered there shields and disarmed there weopons.
The Bagonians were denied admitance to the Federation at this point.
Captain Dakar
has told me to gather a report to send to Starfleet Head Quarters, I plan to
have that done by 20:00.
::As I wake up at 0500 hours on this beautiful day, I stare out my window.
Hey look over there, its a Class IV nebula. How pretty. I order my Tespillian
badge, and I clean up my face. I yawn as I walk down the corridors. Something
weird is happening here and I can't put my finger on it yet. I continue
walking to the end of the corridor near junction D-121. I hit the turbo-lift
call button, and about 10 seconds later, WHOSH. Onwards
I go. BRIDGE, I would say. I arrive only to see that NOBODY is there. Next
thing I know, the Captain, Sala, Xanthus and Worf are all arriving on the
bridge at the same time::
"What is going on Captain?" ::I run to my console and scan the ship
thoroughly:: "Sir, the entire crew except for us is completely gone.
Whereabouts unknown, destination untold sir. No sign of transporter activity
or any phenomenon. "
The rest of the remaining crew stands in panic, except for Dakar of course
who is thinking heavily about 24 different things. Sala seems to be in a
Daze, Xanthus looking furiously for answers and Worf on the verge of
destroying stuff.
::Suddenly, a great roar of light and vibrations surrounds the Aggie. I run
to my console and check it out. A subspace inversion has formed around us, or
rather, we are being converged with it. As quick as it started, it was over::
"Sir," I said, "All life forms are back on the ship!!! I have no idea on what
just happened, but I think it might have been a form of intellegence due to
the readings I just extrapolated. There was a form of bio-resin just outside
of phase variance from us. I could only scan it, but it seemed to hold
cohesion with a form of life"
Recently, I searched through the Federation data banks, and found a song I
heard as a child. The date it was filed was July 2nd, 1996. What a long time
ago. The words brought forth a special meaning:
Down in Mississippi where the sun beats down from the sky,
the give it up and they give it up and they give it up and they never ask
why.
The last few weeks aboard the station have seemed like a blur... I remember
we where supposed to be recieving some visit from a local ambasador, what
would surely be a momentous occasion since it was the first official contact
was in a parallel dimension of course.
I do faintly recall someone arriving on the station, Commander Leigh Stone
getting very upset for me because I didn't get her some kind of imported
torte or something? ::shakes head:: I know I just happened to be at
Charlie's at the time, but geez, couldn't Leigh have ordered one for herself
from a replicator???
Things get fuzzy from there, and I do recall Karis and Leigh being frantic
about myself, Torah, and Jeter looking at a ship, and causing a big scene in
front of many people, two of which I don't recall seeing before. I remember
a feeling of remorse and abandonment, and then ending up in sick bay with
some people mentally fishing for a hook in my mind somewhere? I think one of
the female assistants was walking around without her shoes on, or at least
another medical assistant kept saying... I must have
really been out of it!
soon as the teams were inplace they beamed up a sample of the disease. I am
currently working with Leiutenant Bob to determine how to keep this in check
The Agamemnon was called upon to assist with a Federation colony on Rigala 5,
where a peculiar disease has recently striken over 250 people within the last
couple of days. Upon our arrival, Sala and Maverick began constructing a
relief shelter for the numerous inflicted people. Unfortunately the local
medical professionals where unable to inform us as to the nature of this
illness, as the limmited resources of the planet do not support the
technology necessary for a highly advanced medical research
facility.
The rest of the crew became busy as well, as security had to be called upon
along with some of the colonial security guards to restrain the highly
agrivated patients. The only symptoms at this time noted was a small rash on
certain areas of exposed skin, such as on arms, legs, or even faces. Bob has
been working with our new tactical officer, Nvek, and has determined that the
disease is actually the effects of a small parasite. The source is still
being investigated, however they have detected an
unusual phase variance and are tracing that to find it's origins.
parasite listed, the filter could not recognize it's pattern and isolate it.
I initiated a link with one of the away teams tricorders to get detailed
sensor readings.
With the reading I was able to program the filter to pick up and eliminate
the parasite. As I scanned the ship for the parasite's pattern I found that
several decks were infected. After initiating a quarantine by the Captains
orders I worked on a mass transport of the parasites.
Transporting the parasite proved to be difficult do to the lingering phase
variance left over from the parasite's origin, asteroids in the Rigala system
that have a phase variance.
The transport a success, the ship and the planet are now free of the
parasite. Before leaving orbit
I launched a weapons probe to destroy any asteroids that come close to the
planet, this should ensure that the planet is no longer infected.
We were called to a little known Class-M planet in the Gamma Epsilon
system to investigate the absence of communication from a small terraforming
colony there. When we arrived at Gamma Epsilon 2 we discovered that all the
lifeforms were consentrated in one spot on the largest contenent. Because of
the interferance caused by the genorators which were near the location on the
colonists the Away Team had to take a shuttle craft down to the serface.
Once there, they found the colonists all plaserted
in transparent cacoons. While they were examining the Bodies I detected a
larg life form heading toward them through the ventalation system. Then I
passed out.
<< what really happend is that I AOL gave me some stupid error and kicked me
off>>
When I came to I was informed that these aliens had started to attack the
away team. They ran to the nearest spot that they could be beam out and were
safly transported abord the Agamemnon.
We responded to a distress call to Epsilon 5, when we got there, the
Captain ordered me to form an AT and investigate on the surface. Lieutenant
Sala, First Lieutenant Jalara, and Ensign Drac joined the AT, and we went
down in a runabout because there was too much interference to beam strait
down.
We landed the runabout about a 1/4 mile from the generator room (Where
we picked up some faint human lifesigns). When we got there, the colonists
were binded to the wall with some slimy organic material. Jalara and Sala
went to assist the colonists, while Drac and I ventured inside to find out
who or what caused this.
There was a loud wrapping in the ventilation system, so I climbed up on
some boxes to see what was going on. As I peeked my head in, something
landed next to me and knocked me over. The ALIEN™ came at me to attack me,
when Ensign Drac shot it right before it hit me. We jet out of the generator
room, and Sala and Jalara transported themselves away from there.
A small spider like ALIEN™ attached itself to my face, the Aggie was
able to get a lock on us, and beam us out. The transporter chief could not
get a lock on Sala or Jalara, and they are still stranded on the planet along
with our runabout.
Yesterday was my first day at the office. Over all, it went pretty well
and I didn't mess up like I thought I would.
We Discovered a destress call from the colony on EPSILON 2. We
immedaitly responded and I joined my first away team. We soon discovered that
our response was not only too late, but a BIG mistake. The second Officer
currently has an Alien Thing-a-ma-bob on his face. . .
We have beamed back up tp the Aggie, but could not lock on to Lt Sala
Yesterday was my first real sim and it went pretty well. Basiclly, we
roleplayed the Sci-Fi hit ALIENS™. First we got a distress call, we went to
rescue, and got attacked my aliens. Also we found the colonists plastered to
the wall. Personally, I thought it was
pretty fun, even though it was a tad predicable.
Tactical Officer Ensign Nveks Duty Log, stardate 9707.18 (writing this while
a hurricane is bearing down on my city)
The past few days have been a bit strange at the least. A terramforming
group on Gamma Epsilon 9 recently vanished. Upon arrival at the planet an AT
took a shuttle down to investigate, due to the interference which prevented
beaming. The team found the colonist but in transleucent cocoons. They soon
encountered several spider-like aliens and retreated to safety. When they
beamed back up Commander Jimmy had a small version of the aliens stuck to his
face. While they worked on fixing his face myself
and Lt Worf worked on cutting through the interference by boosting the
confinement beam. This gave me a general picture of what was causing the
interference, THETA radiation, highly toxic to humaniods. After the Captain
ordered another away team to the surface, he also approved a plan I had to
cut through the interference, using a new concept the Vulcan Science Academy
has been experimenting with. This involves routing the sensors through a
confined energy weapon array like a phaser array. This
allows a large very powerful "sensor burst" which returns a large amout of
information of just a few seconds time. Myself and another engineer made
modifications to send a message to the AT. Since they cannot respond I do
not know if it was successful or not but I will soon find out when I finish
modifying the array to get a transporter lock and beam the AT back to the
ship. As for the aliens I would Imagine they use humaniod bodies as food or
as host bodies for their young but further examination is
required.
Last thursday we continued the Rescue from ESPILON 2. The Alien
parasite finally fell from The 2nd Officers face, though not before
implanting something in him. Sala and Jalara found what appears to be the
source of these creatures, a large egg laying
creature. Howarth, Worf, Mavirick and myself have gone down to rescue them
and are currently battling a huge swarm of those creatures while Ens Nvek is
rerouting power to the phasers so that the Aggie can blast an opening in the
atmosphere and comunicate with us[i'm a little unsure on that part, sorry if
it's wrong].
We continued the alien plot on thursday and everything happened pretty
much as I thought it would[ the alien implanted an egg in Jim, Sala found the
queen Alien, and so on]. I didn't think I would go on another away team
though. So far things are going well, I'm getting the hang of simming and
haven't killed myself yet . :)
This was a most unusual mission. But a good one. We were called to
investigate a planet that was scanned by a probe that had dissappeard.
Contrary to what the probe said, we found that the planet's atmosphere was
made up of methane and sulfer. The probe told us that it was a class M
planet. Another thing that the probe sent back was an unusual energy surge
just before it cut transmition. We are currently tryring to figure out what
happend to the probe and why the planet was origially thought to
be a class M planet.
This week was quite confusing, on account that I knew nothing of what was
going on, b/c I have not been here the past week or two. From what I can
tell, we were attempting to rescue Jalara and Sala from a couple of aliens,
and finally suceeded in doing so, along with rescuing some colonists who had
been imprisoned in coccoons, and who were giving up hope and will to live
until Callie went down and telepathically encouraged them to the point of
surviving the terrible thing which had occured to them. I
still don't know if we are done with the mission.
Dear Micol,
I am tired. You have no idea, I have been sick recently with something that
has made my mind just collapse. I have to concentrate harder than I ever
have had to before to do the simplest things, like counting presences in a
small area. Callie, though has been an incredible help in my recovery. She
has used her own telepathic powers to focus mine, and on occasion has had to
do my job for me. I am more grateful to you and your sister for her than you
can ever imagine. She has made a place for herself
on the ship, sort of like an assistant counselor. Between her and my new
friends, Xanthus, Sala, and Jalara (who are all telepathic), I have a good
group which assists me in locating and other duties.
Well, I'll come visit you soon, I promise.
Today we continued the probe plot. Worf and Freitas beamed up a
sample of the supriseably breathable air. Jalara, Giana, and Callie
investigated the alien ship, which was obliviasuos to our sensors, by use of
mental power. I, well, scanned for a probe and found the sensors, but that's
it. Giana and jalara were finally able to make a telepathic link with the
alien ship, which was actually a living creature of it's own. Worf and
freitas , however, were not as lucky. The air beamed from the planet
began to change from oxygen methane and started to seep through the
container holding it. When it started to penetrate the field around the
container, they beamed the lethal air back, but not before worf got a wiff of
methane and collapsed. He almost died but the med. team just saved him.
Besides that all went well. The alien ship told us that it's master
understood he we were peaceful, and the air over the planet cleared up.
PERSONAL LOG
Today was a pretty boring day for me, though the plot was a little
interesting. One good thing though, was I didn't start typing and miss a
vital line in the plot like in the last plot[aliens]. I hope that I can do
more next time, but not so much I lose track of everything else around me.
We were continiuing the mission at 8675309 were we were investigating a
"faulty" probe, or so we thought. Me and First Lieutenant Worf had
transported a sample of the planet's atmosphere into a container. It first
appeared to be normal air then it started to mutate into methane. It
expanded and cracked the container. Some of the gas seeped out before it
could be transported off the ship. Worf got a whiff of it and passed. His
heart had stoped just at the med team arrived in Engineering but
they were able to revive him.
The ship the Giana had sensed was emminating a subspace field that was
in a state of flux. Because it was in the state of flux and we didn't know
what we were looking for we had totally overlooked it. It turned out that
this field what "jamming" our sensors into thinking that the ship wasn't
there at all. We still don't know why the atmosphere changed into metane or
who these aliens want.
I came back on duty today finally recovered from my encounter with the
alien. Giana and Callie had noticed that there was a ship off our starboard
side, but that it did not show up on sensors. It soon moved to the third moon
and while Giana followed it around the planet, I tried to find a matching
ship in the Agamemnon's computer. When I could not, I rejoined Giana
telepathically and "touched" the ship. It turned out to be alive, which was
why we could not penetrate it with our minds. While Giana used
empathy to convey our peaceful intentions, I relayed to the Captain what we
had found out. The ship told it's "master" that we were only explorers and
convinced them that we were no harm to them. I assume that communications
will continue further along in our mission.
Capt Dakar Captain's Log Stardate 9709.4
Today the Agamemnon voyaged to the planet Jeeton on an intelligence
gathering mission, involving an accidental interaction between two pre-warp
planets who's star systems are approximately 2 light years apart. It seems
that the people of the southern continent of planet Jeeton are involved in
some sort of conflict with their northern continent, and have recently
developed Nuclear weapons capacity. The dillema arises in that the proximity
of the two planets poses a threat to the other planet, which
is only about as advanced as 18th century Earth. The atmospheric testing
being performed is expelling hazardous amounts of radiation and cosmic rays
that will threaten not only Jeeton but the nearby planet of Kiefen.
Commander Hayes led a disguised away team down to Jeeton, to investigate
their weapons capacity and the nature of their hostilities towards their
other continent. We also had a temporary assistant by the name of Doctor
Grey. She was the one who was able to determine that the radiation and
cosmic rays from the nuclear testing did in fact pose a threat to the planet
Kiefen. The away team was broken down into two groups. Commander Hayes'
group went to investigate the weapons facility, and the
second group was to learn what they could about the conflict with the north.
Grey continued her study, and found that the primary water supply seems to be
contaminated with radioactivity. Since we cannot contact the away team due
to their undercover nature, we will have to wait until they contact us to
warn them of this. We only hope that they take precautions before eating or
drinking anything until then. We should be able to wrap up this mission
soon, but of course the prime directive prevents us
from directly stoping their threatening testing.
The Agamemnon was sent to investigate an unusually large amount of
radiation that has been coming from one of two inhabited planets in the
Jeeton
Sector. Upon our arrival, we discovered that on the planent that the
radiation was
eminating from was having a cival war between the Northern and Southern
continents. We also discovered that the Southern Continent was testing
nuclear
weopons outside of there planents atmosphere whitch was causing a green
house effect on the 2nd planent.
The prime directive prohibits us from intervening in the path of there
culture in
anyway, but the second, more primitive planent was sitting there helpless.
Not
knowing why the increase in temperature was taking place. The Captain
decided
to send down an away team incognito to investigate.
Commander Hayes lead the away team down to the surface consisting of
Lieutenant Commander Jalara, Ensign Jora, Lieutenant Junior Grade Drac,
Lieutenant Giana, Lieutenant Sala and myself. When we got to the surface,
she
split us up into two groups, Giana, Sala and Drac went one way, and Jalara,
Hayes,
Jora and myself went another way.
We traced the origin of the readings to a nuclear isotope storage and
research
compound on the Southern Continent. We entered the compound undected until
we entered a control room that had a silent camera watching us. Jalara
scanned
the apropriate information into her tricorder and we are currently fleeing
from
the compound guards.
After several days on the planet, what is left of our crew has been rescued
by the USS Aries. It has been an interesting mission.
While patrolling the perimeter, Ensign Nvek encountered two Cardassian
scouts. He reported this to myself and Captain Dakar. He was told that we
could not engage them because we were low on supplies. We would not be able
to survive that type of attack. At that point the Cardassians did not know of
our position.
When Nvek and Kross went out on another patrol they saw the scouts. They
engageed the Cardassians and followed them back to their ship. The ship left
and the ensigns returned.
If the USS Aries had not transported us all up, the scouts Kross and Nvek
encountered would have returned with reinforcements. If we couldn't deal with
two Cardassian scouts, what would have happened when even more troops
arrived?
I explained to them both that they should not have fired on the scouts. I
don't think that serious repremands are necessary, but I had to make it clear
that they had made a mistake. We might not be so lucky next time, expecially
now that the war is going on.
I'd just like to begin todays log by stating, for the record, that I am
the greatest, and, I got promoted...Because, I'm the greatest...
Well, today we began our patrol of the Neudol Reals, a corridor of space
where a few Federation transport ships have been lost recently. We began our
patrol, but quickly recieved a short distress signal from a nearby Class-M
planet...we went to investigate the planet.
Once we got arrived we discovered that the sensors were useless and
there was no way to pinpoint the source of the signal, the planet itself was
though unihabited. The Captain sent Cmd Hayes, LtjgDrac, DoctorSala and
myself down as a small RECON detachment to investigate the area. When we
were on-planet, all detection equipment began failing, no Tricorders...but
before they went out, the Commander detected an energy source to the
East...so we
pushed on East...
We located a small landing craft, crashed and wrecked, in a clearing a
short while later. The Commander and Drac are going inside to investigate,
Sala and myself are staying outside...
...I got a real bad feeling about this, looks like a big fat trap to
me...reminds of the time on Helene 5, when we got ambushed while performing
an enemy equipment retrieval in Zulu Sector......SHUT UP WITH THE REMINISCING
KROSS......anyway, I think it was a bad idea for the commander to go in
there, way too dangerous to risk a senior officer in there with only one man
for back-up, but she makes the policy, I follow it, so I shut up and put up,
ya know what I mean.
If I were her, I'da send me and Drac in there to investigate, while her
and Sala stay outside, but I don't make the orders, I follow them. There is
one good part about leaving me out here, at least nobody is gonna sneak up on
us and catch us with our pants down!
Capt Dakar Agamemnon Duty Log Stardate 9711.13
With the war between the Federation and the Cardassian / Domminion fleet
continuing on, some other matters have sliped by. Now that DS9 has been
retaken, some ships are being diverted to handle other matters that have
croped up. The new Agamemnon has been dispatched to an area of space known
as the Nuedol Realm, to investigate a series of disapearances of freighers
and small vessels.
While Counselor Giana was looking through records of the people and
ships who are currently missing, we where trying to localize a distress call
from a planet inside the realm. Drac was trying to locate a ship which had
left a trace of a warp signature. We were not able to match the signature to
patterns of any known species in our databanks. Giana had discovered a
commonality amongst many of the transport ships, it appears that they where
transporting commercial grade Uranium to other Federation outposts.
Arriving at the planet, we still could not locate the exact source of
the distress call. It was decided that Commander Hayes would lead an away
team to investigate the distress and see if the person sending the signal had
information about who or what was behind the problems in this region
recently. Once the away team beamed down, however, we lost all contact, and
were not able to locate the away team. Commander Hayes must also have tried
hailing us, or another Federation vessel, but no clear signal was received.
Nvek did detect an odd anomoly, but we where unable to find the source. This
has proven to be a most unusual situation. I only hope that we are able to
re-establish communications with the away team shortly.
