SD 9704.28

Computer, open duty log, Jeffrey Hill

COMP>Log open

I did go on duty, however it was a quite short one. I arrived at the staion
and was to showen me quarters. From there I got to put on me new uniform,
and went to the bridge. I was sent to Ops, and never really did any work.
(But who wants to work on their first day anyway?)

Computer, end log.

DUTY LOG, Torah, Acting Chief of Security --

Another Diplomatic function is going to keep Nigala hopping. I have again
been appointed as personal guard for a diplomat. Hopefully this one won't be
interrupted by a Romulan attack like the last one.
Chance was only one of many that was not thrilled at the announcement to
wear the dress uniform. They can be a pain, but it can also be nice to see
some people dress up. There are some crew members who like the uniforms and
go all out in them.

Scenario:

Commander Harsh and Ensign Geordi were in the Reliant's engine room,
working on the FTL drive, when the Reliant was struck by some sort of
multi-colored beam or ray. Lieutenant Torah was manning Tactical in Nigala
Ops and noticed the ray, although its appearance was too brief for him to get
much more information than that it had hit the Reliant; it disappeared before
he could get a clear reading of it. Torah assembled a security team turned
Tac over to another officer and went to investigate.
At about the same time, I requested a progress report from Commander
Harsh, but he didn't answer. I tried to raise him once again. When he still
failed to respond, I sent Commander Leigh Stone to investigate. The facts
that we have subsequently pieced together indicate that whatever the beam
was, it struck the Reliant and left behind a deposit of some sort of gold
metal in the FTL drive's dilithium crystal chamber. While checking for the
reason behind the FTL drive's substandard performance, Ensign
Geordi discovered this metallic substance. Neither Harsh nor Geordi was
aware that any sort of beam had struck the Reliant, so they believed that it
was possible that this metallic deposit might have something to do with the
FTL drive malfunction. The Commander directed Geordi to analyze the material.
In so doing, Geordi inadvertently touched it and declared that not only was
the metal gold, it was HIS gold... and he grabbed it and took off running,
yelling, "Mine! Mine!".
At about this same time, Lieutenant Bull Zi, now manning Ops Tac as
Lieutenant Torah was enroute with his team to investigate the beam that
struck the Reliant, alerted me that another beam had struck the promenade.
This time, Commander Jeter, at the Sci console, also detected the beam, but
scans showed nothing beyond the fact that it was a light-based beam (which we
already knew) and that it appeared to have left something behind. Deciding
that whatever was left on the promenade posed a more
immediate risk to Station security than whatever might have been deposited
on the Reliant and knowing that our Chief of Security, Commander Stone, was
already on her way to the Reliant to check on the well-being of Harsh and
Geordi, I diverted Torah's team to the beam-in site on the promenade.
Commander Stone had just arrived on the Reliant as Geordi's...er,
transformation (?) took place. After ascertaining that Harsh was okay and
giving him her comm badge so he could answer me, she took off after Geordi.
Geordi led her quite a chase, but she finally caught up with him in the
jefferies tubes a level above the Reliant's docking port. She managed to
subdue him long enough to slap a homing beacon on him and have the TR beam
him directly to holding cell 10. At some point during the scuffle,
Leigh informs me that Geordi struck her with the 'gold' and the contact
precipitated an intense feeling of greed and the desire to possess the gold
to the exclusion of all else. Fortunately, the Commander's strong
psi-abilities enabled her to subdue these feelings or we might now have two
or more lunatics running around the station, fighting over this substance.

The metal has been brought to the science lab and placed in a
containment field for further study by Commander Jeter and his minions, all
of whom have been advised that UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES are they to come into
physical contact with it. Ensign Geordi has been remanded to the tender
mercies of the medical staff and Counselor Bailey; security safeguards remain
in place. Geordi himself appears distraught over the loss of his 'gold' and
had to be sedated as he was hurling himself into his cell's
security field and it was feared he might seriously injure himself.
Commander Stone has been sent to Sick Bay to receive medical clearance before
returning to her duties.
Torah's team is continuing on to secure the second beam's target site on
the promenade. They have been advised not to touch anything they might find
there. If it proves to be more of this metallic substance, they are to secure
it and transfer it to Jeter's lab at once.
Lieutenant Bull Zi, with the aid of Ensign Templeton, is trying to
determine the beams' point of origin by extrapolation... something to do with
the beams' trajectory and angle of entry... Not my specialty, but I get the
idea.
As if we didn't have our hands full already, I just received a
comminiqué from the Keldaraans advising that they have stepped up their
schedule and their ambassador should be arriving next week. I don't think I
need to tell anyone what will happen if this little matter isn't resolved
before the Ambassador's arrival, do I? I thought not...

Mission Objectives:

Security/Tac: -Secure both beam-in sites and keep teams on the
alert in case
there should be any further incidences.
-Continue preparations for the Keldaraan
Ambassador's visit.
-Determine the beams' point of origin and
investigate further, as
necessary.
Engineering/Ops: -Run a full diagnostic of the Reliant's FTL drive,
discover what is
causing the drop in performance and rectify
it.
Medical: -Discover what is wrong with Geordi and treat him.

-Make sure Commander Stone has suffered no ill
effects from
exposure to the metallic substance.
-Be prepared for additional victims, "just in
case" ::looks
meaningfully at security:: I do not expect
there to be any
additional victims, but it is always wise to
plan for contingencies.
Science: -Analyze the metallic substance that appears to be
the cause of
Geordi's condition and determine what is best
to be done with it.

None needed at this time. <Unless, of course, you
are unaware that the FTL drive is the same as the warp drive. FTL means
Faster-Than-Light. Warp speed is achieved via the controlled annihilation of
matter and anti-matter. The reaction is somehow regulated by use of dilithium
crystals. ::grins:: At least, that's how Commander Harsh explained it to
me... What do I know? I'm a doctor, not a warp drive mechanic! >

CDR HARSH NIGALA DUTY LOG STARDATE 9604.28

Well, today, myself and Ensign Geordi went off to work on the Reliant's
engines, which where not operating properly the last time it was taken out.
I left engineering in Krysta's capable hands to make sure that all those
rerouted systems where back in place now, and to make sure we took the
containment fields off of their randomized fluxuating frequencies to save the
emitters from burnout.

When Geordi and myself got to the Reliant, we found a rather odd substance
wedged in the dilithium chamber, that appeared to be pure gold. Not the sort
of thing to have floating about the dilithium chamber, so I had Geordi
remove them. Also, Chance wanted someone to assist him with a force field,
so I had him contact Krysta.

Well, gold? I'd have to say fool's gold, because it sure made Geordi start
acting like a fool! Luckily Leigh had just beamed over as we needed both of
us to try and contain Geordi. This substance apparantly had some control
over him. The two of us chased him through the Jefferies tubes until Leigh
finally caught him. I just hope to have the ensign back in decent shape
soon.

Ensign Tebok's Medical Log, Stardate 9705.09,

I arrived in sickbay for my shift only to find out the CMO and
the Head Nurse took a Leave of Absance. I was quickly instructed to take
charge of sickbay as acting CMO with only one other Officer, Ensign Lani to
assist me.
I am qualified to asct as CMO and I do know standerd Medical
procedures, but I would think I would at least have more time in before being
put into such a role....but then again, there were no other officers trained
in that field, eccept the EMH Program and I am Surprised the Lani and I
didn't call the EMH Program for assistance. Well, we managed to cure the
Geordi's illness before it turned fatal. I could not have done it without
Lani's help and the Sinior Officers Support.

Computer, End Log.

After Geordi was carted off, I messaged Krysta to assist with the Reliant
repair completion, first by looking up the Reliant's repair history and
maintenance report. After inspection, I found that it needed a re-alignment
of the matter / anti-matter interlude chamber. I also adjusted the
connection to the antimatter cnverter assembly. I had Krysta come aboard to
assist with this, since the interlude chamber should be processed as quickly
as possible and be reinstalled. While we had the thing in
pieces, I had Krysta realign the dilithium matrix as well, toping off the 20
point checklist of routine maintenance with an adjustment to the warp plasma
regulators and replacing the filter. These should probably be checked again,
after traveling about 3000 parsecs or three months, which ever comes first.

Scenario:

Commander Harsh and his efficient engineering staff have managed to
bring the Reliant's FTL drive back up to within optimum operational
parameters. Which is good, because either it or the Trieste will be called
upon to formally meet the Keldaraan Ambassador's vessel when it arrives and
escort it to Docking Port One.
As for our recent complications with the "Fool's Gold" episode, Fearghal
Flynn, his 'blushing bride' Molly and their brood have moved on to parts
unknown. Fearghal apologized for Seamus' trick with the Rainbow Ray and
assured us that the effects would wear off in 24 hours. Fortunately, this
proved to be the case and Geordi has returned to normal, and the 'gold' is
now just plain pyrite. Harmless.
Speaking of Ensign LaForge, thanks in part to Tebok and Lani, he was
actually cured of the effects of the Leprechaun's spell a good fifteen hours
early. They did a very good job for their first time in sick bay
'unsupervised'. I am unfamiliar with the actual technique they employed to
sterilize his blood and remove the psychoactive agent from it, but I expect
it's one of those new procedures they teach in the Academy now... ::frowns
slightly, thinking:: Although, I must admit, it looked an awful
lot as if they were boiling his blood... That's silly... ::looks around::
...um, isn't it? < ;) >
It's not the same 'round here without dear Doc Bailey, but at least we
now know that we won't all die without him...except ::sniffles slightly::
maybe from missin' him...
Everyone should be aware by now of the Keldaraan Ambassador's planned
visit. This will be our first formal contact with the Keldaraans, with an eye
to opening diplomatic relations between Keld and the Federation. ::fixes
everyone with a steely-eyed glare:: I need not stress to you all that we are
to be on our absolute *best* behavior, do I? ::they all remain silent and
Karis smiles slightly:: Good.
Except for Security and Command, it should be 'business as usual' on the
Station. I recommend that Department heads use this down time for
maintenance, inventory and similar activities. Commander Harsh will be in
charge of Ops. Commander Stone and I will be occupied with the Ambassador.
Direct all Station business to him, he will contact me if *absolutely*
necessary.

The Keldaarans are from <surprise!> the planet Keldaar. It is an M-class

possibly, admitting them to the Federation. This planned "First Contact" is a
preliminary to any subsequent negotiations. Both

The Keldaarans did not see fit to send us any visual representation of

DUTY LAWG, Torah T'PAL

The ambassador is an intresting lady. Very beautiful and charming. There is
something alarming at the way she attracts the guys on the station though. It
is almost as if she is in heat.
Leigh and Karis are both acting like she is the most evil thing they have
ever seen. Leigh was even following me around talking to me telepathically
trying to get me to leave the ambassador, and I snappped at her, something I
have never done before. I even tried to force her out of my head.
Unfortunately my Telepathy is not that strong, but other duties called her
away.
The ambassador and I went to Charlies and then to her ship--there Karis,
Leigh and team Alpha were waiting between the ship and the door to the
shuttlebay blocking us and keeping us off the ship.
I wish i knew what was going on and why those two were acting so
strange.....If i didnt know better i might think they were jealous of the
ambassador......and after Karis ...nevermind, that is personal.......

Scenario:

"Lieutenant Commander Jeter and Commander Stone met the Ambassador's
vessel at the rendezvous point and escorted it safely to the Station.
Commander Harsh was in charge of the Station as I led the welcoming party for
the Ambassador's delegation. We met them at the Docking Port One, just
outside the airlock. Stone and Jeter made haste to join us once the Reliant
was safely docked, and First Lieutenant Torah headed up the security detail.
"I must admit that the Ambassador was not at all what I had expected. I
am so used to delegates being males of mature years that I suppose I just
assumed the Keldaaran Ambassador would fit the stereotype." Karis shakes her
head slightly, "More fool I! I must be getting rusty, making assumptions not
based on fact. After all, how could I know what a typical Keldaaran
Ambassador would be like? No one in the Federation has ever met one before."
Still slightly disgusted with herself, she continues. "In any case, the
Ambassador, who introduced herself as Dimiris Circe, proved to be a
striking-looking woman who appears, by terran standards, to be no more than
33-35 years of age. Dark hair, dark eyes and olive-toned skin, a flawless
figure and a forceful personality; she appears a force to be reckoned with. I
am glad not to be responsible for anything beyond the preliminary diplomatic
maneuvering, whoever the Federation sends will have their
hands full with that one.
She very neatly pushed my offer of escort aside and selected Torah
instead." An odd look enters Karis's eyes; a combination of puzzlement and...
something more. "I can't understand the way Torah was acting. If I didn't
know him better, I would swear he was smitten." She shakes her head. "I can't
quite bring myself to believe that, though." She falls silent for a moment,
debating. "Still, it would fit his behavior." She says slowly, "All that
staring intently at her and hanging on her every word...
immediately agreeing to her suggestion without looking to his commanding
officer for her permission." A rueful smile crosses her face, "She is a very
beautiful woman. " Without conscious thought, she glanced at the shiny, black
surface of the console, which showed her a glimpse of her own face and the
shadow of doubt in her eyes. She looked quickly away, biting her lower lip
for a moment as she mused further. "Still, it is out of character for him...
besides, I had rather thought..." She breaks off in
confusion at the words, as if she hadn't quite expected to hear them even
though she was the one who had spoken. Firmly, she brings her mind back to
the matter of her log and away from more frivolous (dangerous?) speculation.
"Except for the matter of the ambassadorial visit, it's business as
usual on the Station. There was a minor problem with one of the biobeds'
sterilization fields in sick bay, but I understand that the med staff and
engineering cooperated to locate and fix the problem. Doc Bailey assures me
that there will be no recurrence.
"Commander Harsh did a fine job of running the Station while Leigh and I
were otherwise occupied. This shift, it is Leigh's turn. I expect all general
inquiries to be directed to her... I have a great deal of paperwork I have to
catch up on in anticipation of the Captain's return."

Cdr Harsh Nigala Duty Log Stardate 9705.26

I have recently returned from my trip to the Lansing system for a 4 day
conference on varying cultures and philosophies. The event gave me the
opertunity to give a 17 minute multimedia presentation on some of my latest
endeavors with computer digitized signals of both audio and video formats
combined. My presentation included aspects of gravitational forces, action
and reaction, done actually by a close colleague of mine, an analysis of the
current tides in the galaxy, and a physics aspect of being
able to capture fast moving objects.

Even with the large compression factors used, the end results where quite
astonishing, and proved to be one of the better presentations of the
conference, but most of the recognition went to a crew of engineers from New
California. It was well deserved though, especially for their presentation
on Pressure and its effects on internal investigations. On my time away from
the presentation room, I spent time in various discussion groups facing the
issues of the Federation from all angles and points of
view. I also spent time in the collosal marketplace, where traders from all
corners of the galaxy presented their wares to curious passerbys. This
comference has become a regular event for me, and I have already made plans
to attend next year.

Duty Log SD9706.02

Sitting in her quarters, she watches as Cyna falls asleep beside her on
the couch. She lifts the child in her arms, carrying her gently into her
bedroom. She lay's Cyna onto the bed, then pulled the covers over her.
She slipped silently from the room, closing the door behind her.
She moved to her desk, lighting a small candle.
~~For those children who have no parents to watch over them at night.~~
She closed her eyes for a moment, then looked across the darkened
quarters.
"Computer, begin a duty log, authorization Jade Beta 3."
"You may begin when ready." The computer responded.
"In my first day of duty, I was left alone to man Ops. Commander Stone
and Commander Tok were busy conducting official business in the Cargo bay
with several other officers."
"Shortly after, an explosion rocked the station, originating from that
cargo bay. I dispatched sec teams and called for medical assistance."
"The party responsible for this incident attempted to flee in their
ship. I attempted to stop them by engaging a tractor beam, but for some
reason, I could not get a lock on their coordinates."
"They bombarded the station with fire as I responded with a full spread
of photon torpedoes. Their weapons array was disabled, their ship incapable
of movement."
"However, I detected a core breach occurring on their vessel and was
able to use a reverse tractor beam to push it away from the station."
"After conducting scans, I have found evidence of several escape pods
being released. As of yet, those pods have not been recovered."
"Computer, close log."
She rose slowly, then headed for her bedroom.

Scenario:

Karis is sitting in the Ready Room with her fingers steepled under her
chin, staring thoughtfully off into space. "This is an extremely strange
situation." She frowns slightly. "This ambassador, Dimiris Circe, seems to be
exercising..." She hesitates, searching for the proper term, "undue
influence... over certain members of my crew. I don't know how to explain it,
really. I have never before seen anything like it.
"First it was Torah; he couldn't keep his eyes off her and was treating
her every whim as if it were a directive from the Admiral. That was bad
enough, but now!" She shakes her head. "Now, it seems as if half the men in
the crew have joined her entourage. Torah escorted Circe on a tour of the
station and from the irate reports I am receiving, they picked up an officer
or two in each department that they visited. Officers who have never given me
a moments' trouble during the course of their entire
careers are simply walking off their posts! This whole situation is
intolerable!" Karis thumps the desk with her hand for emphasis, the force of
the blow knocking a PADD to the floor. She scoops it up and glances at it.
"Commander Harsh has walked out of Engineering and is currently sitting at a
table in Charlie's with Dimiris Circe and Lieutenant Torah!" She looks
disbelieving. "I can't put up with it! SFHQ said to accord the Ambassador
every respect and courtesy; I have done that and more, but I will
not put up with this... this... chaos on MY station..." <no offense,
Dougster! ;) >
She jumps up and taps her comm badge, "Tok to Bailey and Jeter."
Bailey responds immediately, "Go ahead, Commander."
Jeter takes a moment longer, "Hmmmm...? Oh. It's you, Karis... I'm kind
of busy right now. Can we talk later? Thanks."
Karis looks like she is about to go off. "Stand by, Doctor," she says
between gritted teeth. "Computer, what is the location of Lieutenant
Commander Scott Jeter?"
"Lieutenant Commander Scott Jeter is at booth three in Charlie's Lounge
on the promenade."
"That's it!!" Karis tosses the PADD in her hand at the far wall; it
impacts and breaks up, pieces flying every which way. "That is the last
straw!"
Thumping her comm badge again to activate it, she snarls, "Bailey, I
hope sick bay is prepared for injuries. There's about to be a fight..."

Mission Objectives:

Security/Tac: - Prevent the Ambassador's vessel from
leaving the
station with any of our personnel
aboard it.
- Accomplish this without alienating
the Keldaarans.
- <Good Luck!>
Science and Medical: - See if there is some sort of outside influence
causing our personnel to behave like
this; possibly
a drug or some sort of psychic
manipulation.
Engineering: - Coordinate with Security and Tactical to
prevent
the Ambassador from making off with
our officers.
- Have emergency repair crews standing
by, just in case...

Background info: <reprinted from last week's brief for your convenience ;) >

The Keldaarans are from <surprise!> the planet Keldaar. It is an M-class
planet approximately 4.3 light years away. At this point, all we know of the
Keldaarans is that they are capable of FTL space flight, are believed to be
peaceable and are the de facto owners of an extremely mineral rich asteroid
field. The SFHQ is interested in opening up trade with the Keldaarans and,
possibly, admitting them to the Federation. This planned "First Contact" is a
preliminary to any subsequent negotiations. Both
sides are sort of checking each other out, to see what commonalities and
differences we have that might affect such negotiations.
The Keldaarans did not see fit to send us any visual representation of
their delegate, but they are a humanoid race... very close in physiognomy and
physiology to humans, in fact, so there should not be any trouble with
special accommodations on our part or xenophobia on theirs...

Scenario:

"Now that the whole mess with that bi..." Karis bites her tongue in
mid-epitaph, "imposter, Dimiris Circe has been straightened out, I feel much
more relaxed." The Commander smiles slightly, remembering the battle that
took place outside the airlock that led to Circe's ship. "I have to admit she
is a daring rogue," she says in grudging admiration of her opponent,
"waylaying an ambassador and then passing herself off as that same ambassador
in order to stock up on 'exotic' slaves." A shake of her
head. "Too bad for her that she wasn't up against lesser opponents. Once we
figured out what was going on, she didn't have a chance. Still," she says
consideringly, "if she had been a bit more subtle, she might have pulled it
off. Instead, she made an enemy of me (not to mention the Federation!),
damaged her ship and, if I am not much mistaken, cost her first officer his
life in the process. Amazingly, none of our crew were killed although Sick
Bay was quite busy patching people up."
Karis sits quietly for a moment, trying to imagine the Station without
Harsh, Torah and Jeter, among others. "No way!"
She hops up from her chair and begins pacing, back and forth across the
Ready Room. "In any case, the real Ambassador, H'Smonian Frith, is due to
arrive in a week and the Keldaarans have had the wisdom to provide us with a
full security dossier on the man this time. I hope he is fully recovered from
his experience with Circe, I know it took our officers a few days to shake
off the last lingering effects of her... ah... influence." There's a
mischievous light in her eye as she recalls the
disappointed, mooncalf expressions on the faces of her officers when they
first realized Circe was gone. Poor fellows were quite embarrassed by the
whole thing once the 'spell' had worn off.
"As for other matters, Harsh assures me that while the damage we
sustained from Circe's attack was by no means minimal, the materials that the
Keldaarans have sent by way of reparation for their unwitting part in the
incident and our own crack engineering team will speedily have the Station
back up to specs." Karis grins. "Which is a good thing, because I expect the
Captain back at any time now, and I would hate to have to explain to him why
his bright, shiny new station is now a pitiful floating
mass of space refuse."
She walks over to the replicator and orders a cup of raktajino. Turning
back to her desk, she takes a sip of the steaming brew before continuing, "In
recognition of the fine job we have all done by working together as a unit
and overcoming some very substantial odds, I am throwing a party at Charlie's
tonight. All personnel who are not otherwise occupied are invited to attend."
Karis chuckles, "I wonder what I should wear...?"

Mission Objectives:

All Departments: Have fun!! It's a party, for pete's sake!! ;)

If you folks require background information on how to party, we might as
well just forget the whole thing now...

Well, in celebration of the return of Captain Dmoney, and rather
unfortunately the leaving of our good friend, Leigh Stone, the crew had a get
together. It's been a while since I've attended any social occasion, and
this gave me an opertunity to meet some of the newwer people on board the
station.

It is good to have the captain back, but we all feel a sense of loss
with the departing of Leigh. I know I probably sound like a broken record,
but it is amazing how many people have gone through this station over time,
many of whom I will never forget. While my mind does tend to drift off from
time to time, I can't believe so much time has passed that the only ones left
from when I first came aboard are Dmoney and Chance. Karis and Leigh started
soon after I did, but that time seems so short
even though it has really been so long. Farewell, brave warrior...

The door opens into total darkness. A simple word brings the lights to full
power. the outer waiting area is clean and neat, but that goes unnoticed. The
door to the main office is standing open, like the room is waiting on its
occupant to return. The lights come on as I enter, an addition probably added
due to the haste the last occupant was always in.
Looking around the room, there is almost no decorative items left, some
shelves and the desk, but everything else is gone......except a single
picture hanging on the wall.....of Leigh and Torah with Bat'leths crossed in
combat, what a shot. I never realizedhow much power that little lady packed
into such a small frame--that stays......

Well, there is no adjustment period. Leighs runabout was gone only a matter
of a day, and already there are new crew members to train, though one of my
security officers and one of the new arrivals have been killed by something.
Jackie Scott has taken the new ensign with her to investigate the
occurances. Christie Hayden, funny, Hayden was Leighs maiden name, i wonder
--- not likely, Christie is from Mars and fully human.
Jade is my first choice as my assistant, but that must be approved by the

Incident Report
Space Station Nigala
*MURDER*

Victim: Ensign Kilroy

Scene of Death: Kilroy's quarters

Cause of Death: Draining of blood.

Officer on Scene: First Lieutenant Donna Jade, Ensign Golas

Description of Scene: The victim's body was discovered on the floor in his
quarters, no signs of forced entry, no evidence of a struggle. (which
indicates the assailant was able to overpower the ensign quite easily.)

Status: The body has been turned over to medical and science teams for
autopsy. Kilroy's quarters have been restricted to authorized personnel
only.

Comments: This is not the first incident of this kind to appear on the
station. In the other case, the M.O. (Method of Operation) was the same:
death by removal of blood.
The lack of evidence toward a struggle indicates to me the victim was
easily overpowered. After careful investigation of his quarters, no evidence
was found to indicate who the intruder could possibly have been.

Signing Officer: Jade, Donna, Fst Lt.

Lieutenant Commander Scott Jeter
Chief Science Officer
space station Nigala
stardate 9706.23

DUTY LOG:

I spent part of my duty shift in the science lab, alone as usual,
studying the bios of the new ensigns that have recently come aboard Nigala.
I came across an Ensign Kilroy, the newest member of my science staff. His
bio was impressive and I looked forward to having him on the team; it's been
a while since we've gotten a new science officer. However, once I learned of
his death, I realized I'd never see a science officer come to Nigala for a
while to come.
Commander Harsh, temporarily in command of Nigala, came over the
intercom and announced that the dinner planned for the new arrivals/ensigns
would be cancelled suddenly due to certain circumstances. I was unaware of
anything unusual going on on the station, and I contacted him with my query.
I was informed of what had been going on and was requested to research
anything on blood-draining beings or methods of. I consulted several
databases, other than the station's computers, and found only one
possible lead.
The idea of vampires lurking about the station, looking for prey
(which turned out to be those poor ensigns), disturbed me, and I brought the
idea to Harsh immediately. He was a little surprised by the idea, but there
was no way to disprove the theory, and there were no other ideas. He asked
me to coordinate with medical to find a way to stop this vampire. I
contacted Tebok, who was obviously very busy running Sickbay in Bailey's
absence. I decided to take a quick stroll down to SB, and found
Tebok dealing with several people talking to him, including myself. I
decided just to stand around and wait for Tebok to talk to me, but that
never happened. Suddenly, once SB was jam-packed with people talking or
complaining, a stranger entered. I didn't know who he was; there was so much
confusion during these moments. I realized that he was the very vampire we
had been looking for, and several people tried to stop him. I became
impatient and was about to grab a sharp laserscalpel and ram it
into his heart since the crew was yelling and trying to stun him,
unsuccessfully, with their phasers.

I spent most of my shift in Engineering. The newest member of the
engineering team came down to look around some more before the welcome
dinner. Liana is very interesting. She seems kind enough but is also
extremly shy. When she is in engineering she seems to come alive. Well..we
got a message from Commander Harsh that the welcome dinner had be cancelled
due to some mysterious things that had been occuring on the station. I
informed Liana and told her to feel free to wander engineering and the
station and that if she needed anything not to hesitate to ask.
After that she began wandering about engineering and I went back to work.
One of the conduits needed some repairs done on it and I took care of
that...but other than that engineering was quite quiet. I can't say that for
the rest of the station though. It seems that we had some sort of "vampires"
loose on the station and two of the new ensigns seem to have fallen victim to
them. Sickbay seemed to have come up with an andatote and administered it.

My first day on Space Station Nigala. I reported for duty and met my
commanding officer, First Lieutenant Torah, along with my fellow assistant,
Donna Jade. A series of murders was happening, and an alarm in Ensign
Kilroy's quarters was detected. Lieutenant Jade and I were sent to
investigate. We found a body along with a startled cat, which we were just
about to shoot. While going over the locations of the murders, I noticed that
they were arranged along a path which ran from starboard to aft on the
main deck. I also noted that all the victims were human, whereas I, being
Cardassian, along with several others were not targeted. Both of these I
reported to the acting CO of the station while Jade was still at the murder
scene. Later First Lieutenant Torah ordered Donna and I to Sickbay, where we
participated in apprehending the culprit. Levek Golas out.

Well, situations led to both The Captain and Commander Tok being away from
the station for the day. With all the attacks and deaths going on, I decided
to cancel the planned welcome dinner for all the new crew. (it was half of
the new crew that was dead anyway)

With the capable help of Commander Torres, things went ok, and we came up
with a plan to entrap what Jeter and the medical department had determined
must be sum kind of vampire. Unfortunately, Torres became incapacitated
somehow, (darn those puntmonsters) and I failed miserably to lead the station
after that point. There was a report later of a disturbance in which the
strange vampire creature was caught in the act and eventually killed.

In watching the crew adjust to my commands, as well as calling me "sir"
and "Captain", I felt that they did as well as expected of them in this
situation, if not better. The crew peformed quite to my satisfaction,
considering some of them were in positions they had never been in before. I
hope that the captain and Commander harsh are as satisfied with the crew's
performance as I am.
My largest commendation goes to First Lieutenant Torah T'Pal, who is
serving as my first officer for this battle drill. He has performed
exceptionally well, keeping on top of matters on the ship and keeping me
informed of the latest developments, as well as communicating with the crew
when I am not able.
My hat goes off to Lieutenant Krysta and Ensign Lani, as well.
Althought they are not used to working in different departments when
necessary, they both did well in the helm and tactical positions, despite
how uncomfortable it was for them.
I am very happy with the entire crew; now, and I hope that this
experience will prove to be a good learning experience for me in the command
area, and that I can become an excellent captain to them (several years down
the road, of course ;)). Now, if only the damned ship could just live up
to expectations....power fluctuations, then a blackout! Then a jump into

Jade's Duty Log SD 9706.30
Standing In The Hallway

Donna Jade shook her head, recovering from the electric shock that her
hot wire attempt gave her. ~I'm not trying that again.~ She thought.
She glanced about her as Jeter and Torah spoke, thinking back to the
events leading up to this.
Captain Dmoney had given her that PADD, and orders to apprehend an
intruder in the shuttle bay.
~Just part of the simulation the captain was running... right?~
She hoped.
Unaware that Lani was attempting to apprehend the intruder as well, she
had turned her phaser on the unsuspecting medical officer. Fortunately for
both of them, Jade had enough sense not to shoot her. <::grins:::>
A hologram appeared in the darkened shuttle bay, and they both took
shots at it to no avail. Coordinating their efforts, they split up, coming
up on both sides of the hologram - that is until Dmoney ended their task and
sent them back to the bridge.
At that time, another simulation was taking place up there, or so Jade
thought.
The Trieste was on sensors and heading for them.
But that had to wait due to power fluctuations that eventually led to a
shipwide powerfailure, and the inevitable shutdown of life support on the
bridge.
The bridge crew evacuated with orders to regroup in Engineering.
Planning to head that way via JT's, Torah pulled off the cover, and Jade
stepped inside, only to find power restored at that moment.
She remembered turning and heading back to the Bridge, but being stopped
by a door locked from the inside.
Jade had immediately stepped up to the panel beside the door in an
attempt to manually override the lock. She was rewarded with a body tingling
zap up her arm, shoving her backward.
Holding a hand to her head in a vain attempt to keep the stars from her
vision, she wondered what could possibly happen next.

We have begun phase one of an Exersise. It was my first mission
off the Station, but with its crew. So far the exersise consisted of small
power falures and an Intruder alert. Lani worked with Tacticle today....I'm
surprises we still have a Starfleet.... actually she did well, it's good
training for her. Even though we join Starfleet for a certain Field, it is
best to know a little bit of other fields in case the situation turns grim.
I myself am great in Enginering and O.K at Tacticle, I would have been a
tacticle officer...but I used to much Romulan tactics and was forced to take
another field, I am not disapointed.

Anyway, so far I was tested on diagnosing injueries, I believe I
did well, as the Captain said. I was surprised he didn't program 20 injured
holo-crew personell into sickbay...but..the exersise is not yet over....I
better be nice to the captain.

Another Field Exercise I did.....
In Starfleet Medical school, everyclass had to go through an
Exersise, either on a Station, Ship or Field exersise. The exersise usually
took place a week before graduation and lasted no more than two days.
However, as the ExersiseDate approached, the Borg attacked the Federation a
second time and succeded...but according to Starfleet, the Enterprise-E
fallowed the Borg back in time and saved the Federation...so no one has any
knowledge of the Assimulations, eccept the Enterprise Crew..
Anyways, because of that, our two day exersize turned into a full
week...
Six training vessels, crewed by Cadets from every field available, commanded
by Officer Cadets and overlooked by our Insructers. The Scenerio was that the
Borg fleet of 3 ships had assimulated the Federation and our six vessels were
the only ships left to fight back. Kubiashi Maru, yes..but we did scrach the
paint of one of there cubes!!!
In Medical....Four of the Trainees had been labelled
"Killed" and acted as either Victims or Assimulated Members of the crew. Only
me and one other were left on the USS Nova to treat nearly 300 injured.

So whatever Captain DMoney can throw at me... =-)

Commander Tok is away on an officer exchange program. The Captain decided
to do a battle simulation with the Reliant and the Trieste. With the Captain
as "Referee" Scott Jeter was named CO and I was appointed as his XO.
As we cleared the station, there was an intruder alert. Ens Lani and Fst Lt
Jade responded. They nearly shot one another but worked together to solve the
problem and "capture" the intruder.
As Jade entered the bridge, other events took our attention. There was a
power fluctuation. It was short-lived, but not gone. There was another
incident that shut life-support and power off from the bridge. I pulled loose
a Jefferies tube cover and we all moved off the bridge.
Jade made an attempt to go back after something she had forgotten but we
only found the path had been sealed off and locked from the inside.

It was the first time for several members of the crew in unusual positions.
Even after I was appointed Serena's XO on the Trieste, there really hasn't
been a chance to act on the position. Jade did an excellent job in my place
as Security Chief. Krysta and Lani were also notable at Helm and Tacticle

I look forward to serving further with Jeter in this capacity.

Cdr Harsh Duty Log Stardate 9706.30

Well, it was one of those days... It started off good enough, entering the
Reliant engineering and hearing that soothing sound of the warp drives in the
background. Jeter and Torah where in charge of the Reliant on this mission
where Dmoney and myself would be evaluating as we mock engaged the Trieste.

The mock attack just underway, the warp engines nearly seemed to stall out
but caught themselves and kept on going. I looked into the status reports
and saw a millisecond "glitch" in the warp field. Unable to explain this, I
contacted the bridge to see if they had found any strange anomolies in the
space arround us.

Then, unexpectedly, main power cut out on us. Dmoney seemed just as baffled
as I, as neither of us had planned this for the evaluation. The power outage
only lasted a second, but latter on went down completely. With my
engineering crew temporarily assigned to other positions on the ship, I
rummaged behind a control pannel trying to fix anything I could think of. I
told Dmoney, who was now standing over me wondering what in the underworld I
was doing down here to ruin his evaluation, that there must
really be something or someone out there besides the Trieste. After
scrambling for a few minutes, power somehow managed to be restored, but
Dmoney was locked in Engineering, and I heard reports that the Bridge was
also locked. I personally think we should end our evaluation mock attack and
address this unknown force affecting our ship.

Lieutenant Commander Scott Jeter
Chief Science Officer / Captain of USS Reliant
space station Nigala
stardate: 9707.07

DUTY LOG:

The bridge crew, including myself, was locked out of the bridge on the
Reliant. Power had been cut to all systems and life support on the bridge
had failed, which is why we evacuated in the first place. But when power
came back on and the vessel jumped into warp 5 I knew something
was....well....not quite right. First Lieutenant Jade was working on
finding a way to bypass the force fields and allow us entry into the bridge.
She then suggested going through the vents and crawling into the
bridge from there. I allowed her to attempt her idea, and within minutes
she had reached the bridge and opened the door. I immediately ran to the
bridge and ordered a status report, for I had no idea what was going on - and
what was going on on the Trieste. Real photon torpedoes had been fired at
the Trieste while we were locked out, and the Trieste was firing back at us.

All bridge controls were dead and we were locked out of the computer.
Thus, we could do no more than just sit and watch. A force field formed
around the bridge, locking us inside. Suddenly, a gaseous compound poured
through the ventilation systems. Had there been no forcefield, we could
retreat into the Jeffries' tubes or turbolifts. Had there been computer
control, we could stop the gas from filtering through into the bridge.
However, we could do neither and I was unsure what my next
move was, or how to save the crew.
Suddenly, power was back out (as was life support) and we were able to
go back into the Jeffries' tube. Jade wished to remain behind, and wearing
an oxygen mask, try to jump-start the bridge stations and regain control of
the ship. I did not want to retreat like some new, wet behind the ears
ensign; afterall, this was my command, the crew and ship were relying on ME.
I remained with Jade, and the two of us attempted to get control of the
ship. After a few unsuccessful attempts, I realized
the easiest way to change our course (to avoid hitting the Trieste) was to
blow open the oxygen reserve tanks behind the bridge, thus releasing the
gas into space and pushing us off-course. I hurried down into the JT and
quickly and impatiently barked orders to fire on the oxygen tanks, and then
return to the bridge and seal the JT so that we would not have crewmen being
sucked out into space. Finally, power jumped back on, and Tebok bursted
into the bridge. Apparently, he had been trying to
get in this whole time. The Captain also joined us, with what appeared to
be a head injury, which Tebok looked at right away. There was something
interesting on the screen: a message from the "senators" who say they use us
for entertainment. They reminded us that they would be back
sometime...someday. I took no humor in their "entertainment". Torah
ordered all injured/casualties to report to SB ASAP. The Trieste, led by
Commander Tok, hailed us and asked if all was fine. Then both of the
vessels laid in a course back for Nigala.
Once again I was accompanied by an outstanding crew who I felt performed
to the best of their ability in such a situation. I owe thanks to First
Lieutenant Torah, my first officer, and look forward to serving with him in
such a way in the future. I also thought that Jade did an excellent job at
security. As for Tebok, Krysta, Legolas, and others, they all were
outstanding. This was an excellent, if not stressful, learning experience
for me in command and decision making.

This caused heavy damage to the Trieste and knocked her speed down to
two-thousand kph. Speed continued to drop as Commander tok gave the order to
return fire. Then finally my console locked up I took over the ops station.
At last all power motive power from the engines was lost by this time the
Reliant was adrift then our own power began to drop and all
power was lost. We were adrift and couldn't get through to engineering I
started to take a jefferies tube there but the power came back online I came

Duty Log SD 9707.07

After the ships returned to Nigala, Jade headed straight for her
quarters. The buzzing followed her the entire way. She notified Cyna's
babysitter, and trudged over to her desk.
She sat down, laying her head across her arms, willing the buzzing to
stop to leave her alone to vacate that precious space behind those Trill
spots on her forehead.
Giving up, she sighed.
"Computer, open duty log."
"Our encounter on the Reliant turned near deadly. Life support failed
on the bridge. I recalled what had occurred the last time life support went
out. I requested permission to remain on the bridge while the rest of the
crew evacuated. Jeter granted my request, but he remained with me."
"Using oxygen masks to breathe, he and I attempted to get control of the
ship back, which we eventually did. However, we found out that the Trieste
was on a collision course with the Reliant."
"Jeter came up with the idea that we could push the Reliant out of the
way by rupturing the oxygen tanks outside the bridge. We gathered the crew
to do so, with the knowledge that our actions would result in a hull breach."
"The tanks ruptured, and the crew headed back onto the bridge. The
Reliant and Trieste stopped approximately one foot from each other."
"Talk about elbow room."
"It turned out that some entities who called themselves the Senators
were responsible for the day's incicdents. I only hope they grow up faster
than the Q."

Lieutenant Commander Scott Jeter
Chief Science Officer
space station Nigala
stardate: 9707.14

DUTY LOG:

In response to the unexplained, sudden appearance of a being known only
as the "senator", the Nigala station as well as both attached starships were
being thuroughly examined and repaired. The various members of the crew
were either busy repairing damage on the vessels or searching through the
computer systems, in search of any anomalous readings or information leading
to the origin of this "senator."
I was introduced to a new member who had come aboard Nigala, Siralph,
who was assigned for the moment to assist me in the science department. I
ordered the new ensign to run diagnostics on all on-board sensor systems on
both the station and starships. When Siralph returned from that duty, the
two of us searched through the computer databases (orders from Commander
Harsh, who was in OPS) for any reports on this "senator" being. Our findings
reported such incidents on starbase 25, as well as
another vessel. Both reports revealed a kind of pulse - a tachyon surge -
originating from unknown, and showing up in the computer core. That, I
reasoned, was how the creature gained control of all the ship's functions.
Ensign Siralph also brought to my attention that there had been a record
of the same such tachyon pulse in the Nigala computer core, only twelve
hours ago. I realized that perhaps that "senator" was lurking about in our
own computer system, waiting to make his move, then watch our foolish
attempts at reversing his doings, clearly enjoying watching us. I brough
the matter up with Harsh and Tok. Commander Tok ordered Harsh and myself
to head down into the core and get to the bottom of this -
and rid the station of any possible intruder or threat.

The day was a rather quiet one. The crew is busy repairing damage to the
Trieste and the Reliant.
Security is going well. There has not by much criminal activity. Though the
thief did give me a chase, he has been caught. It was a case where he was
stealing in a pattern. It took several nights of staring at the reports about
the thefts before it hit me.
I was in the store, a nonchalant little place that sold hard to find items
from many places in the quadrant. Most were replicas of the items, but that
rarely mattered. The thief came in through the ceiling, just as i expected.
When he hitthe floor, i placed my phaser to his ear and said "SURPRISE"
As I escourted him to the brig, he asked how I caught him. I told him he
made one mistake. He used the same MO in all of the crimes, and he had left a
pattern in the way he robbed, he was going back and forth across the station
in a circle, simple but almost enough to get by, but that was one of the
firing patterns on the target range on the station.
The thief rolled his eyes and stumbled into the cell muttering, "I should
have known."

It's interesting how just a little change can effect a person's life. I
switched out of SB and into security leaving Tebok alone to attend to the
daily rituals of the quiet SB.....I feel bad, but I knew I had to
switch....it was for my career. I remember what a lady on Earth had said to
me when I was little and had no idea what I wanted to do....she said
"Whatever you want to do, just set your heart on it and you will succeed." I
had no idea what the hell she meant by that, but now I think I
do......it means that I should just stick with something that meets my
interest, and I don't think a career in the medical field is right for
me....it's too calm......I need something full of action. Something like
security. I think it was a good change, since I'm not yet fully into the
medical stuff, I still had time to change.......

::::thinks:::::Maybe those prisioners are the real
crew....interesting....first day of Security and a fight is on. Charlies was
a mess! Phasers everywhere! I nearly got shot in the head! I was sent to
stop the fight, and also to send the bad bad bad crew to detention. But
before that, a shuttle arrived at docking bay 4...there were 3 prisioners on
it....but as Siralph and I were taking them to their detention cell, one of
them managed to get the gagg off and say that they were the real Star Fleet
officers....I was skeptical at first, but they kept on insisting....it was
all very strange, and another thing to note is that the shuttle that they
arrived in was beat up looking. As if a phaser fired from the INSIDE of
it.....but that would only result in death of at least one person. Tebok was
called to detention cell 4 and ran some scans on the "prisioners" and did not
find a match between the data that was given to us and the data that he got
from the scans......how interesting.

Well, my first official mission onboard the Nigala was interesting. It is
not every day a science ensign finds himself guarding prisoners. It is even
rarer to find out the prisoners were actually Starfleet crew imprisoned by
the real prisoners, who took the place of the officers. That harebrained
plan might have worked had the trigger-happy lunatics not shot up the station

Lieutenant Commander Scott Jeter
Chief Science Officer
space station Nigala
stardate: 9707.21

DUTY LOG:

The station was preparing to accomodate for a Federation transport
vessel carrying a group of prisoners, which was stopping at the station for
a day to pickup supplies. Security had been tightened a little bit; in fact,
my only science assistant was recruited to help the security officers in this
case. I, with nothing really to do (considering the science lab was always
kept in excellent condition), lounged around in my office for a little
while. When I felt I could be just a little more useful
in Ops, I headed there.
Upon arrival I saw only Tok, and Jade there, monitoring the docking of
the prisoner transport and the disembarking of the ship's crew. Soon after
my arrival, the Captain entered Ops, and then Karis left to attend to
something. I stood in Ops and watched the brief conversation with the crew
of the transport, then watched the vessel dock. Captain DMoney left, and I
was put in charge of Ops.
Later, I asked Jade to contact Torah to find out the status of the
prisoners and the crew. It took a little while, but eventually he responded.
It appeared that the prisoners who were tied up claimed to be the crew, and
that the crew roaming around the station were in fact the real prisoners.
Since there was no proof I asked where the "crew" was. I later figured that
out when Jade announced a phaser fight in Charlie's. I ordered security
teams to Charlie's immediately and Jade also went to
assist. I tried to keep an open comm link with the bar so that I could be
informed of everything going on. I did not contact Karis since she was
occupied; I could handle the situation for the meantime. As far as I know,
the Captain, Jade, and security officers were there, and with their presence
everything was under control.

DUTY LOG:

I spent most of my duty shift in Ops, looking over the
navigational and long-range sensor systems, running diagnostics, and catching
up on some reading (The Official Starfleet Science and Technology Newsletter)
that I had pushed to the side a few days ago. FstLt Jade, and Ens Siralph
were also In Ops during this time.
Suddenly, Jade monitored some odd readings from her tactical
console. There was something large headed towards Nigala, it's source being
the wormhole. I watched as the wormhole opened up and an energy wave came
flying towards us. Considering we did not know the origin or the impact of
this wave, I ordered a station-wide Yellow alert. The Captain's presence was
requested and he immediately came to Ops. Once informed of the situation he
upgraded the station to Red Alert.
He asked if weapons would break-down the wave, but both Jade and I
agreed that it would not. However, it was worth a try and she fired a volley
of torpedoes into the wave. No effect. The wave came at us and we were
knocked unconscious. Luckily the shields were up or the station may have
been destroyed.
When I awoke, along with the rest of Ops, I found myself - and
everyone else - in the form of when we were 8 years old. We were puzzled as
to what had happened. DMoney left Ops and I was left in charge. I ordered
a complete check of the entire station. However, Ensign Siralph had some odd
readings which Jade verified. I looked over at them and asked what was going
on. They said they had found the source of the wave and it was coming
straight for us. It was later identified as the
SSNigala. Not our Nigala, but another one, from where I don't know. It
had battle damage and life signs were negative. In the middle of this
confusion, the wormhole released four Romulan vessels which began to attack
the station. Captain was informed of the situation and immediately came to
Ops.

Then we heard a warning come over the conn from the Captain

::clears his throat:: Well, this is going to sound quite bizarre, but
somehow something has "altered" the crew so we now all have the bodies we
had when we where 8 years old. I had a bad enough time when I was 8, don't
want to relive my childhood again. Anyway, the first problem we discovered
is that the computer didn't recognize our pre-pubescent voices. So...
engineering spent most of the time trying to remodulate the voice recognition
system so that we could have voice commands back. In the mean
time, some control has been managed the old fasioned way, by actually typing
everything out at a command console... geez how 20th century!!! How did our
ancestors ever get anything accomplished if they had to sit there and type
archaic commands into a large board with over a hundred keys on it?

(Assistant Security Officer)

Since I've been on this station, I'd have to say that this is the most
exciting adventure that I have been in, security is a pretty actionful place
to be.....when the wave of energy came in last week, it changed everyone on
the station to 8-year-olds, and strangely enough the wave was emitted by
another Nigala on the other side of the worm hole, and so as follows the
original Nigala crew had doubles. Nigala1 was attacked by Romulans that had
come from the worm hole and tried to take over. Some of
the Nigala crew--including myself--were assigned to the Reliant. I
monitored the space activity, and everything seemed fine until a Romulan ship
came and attemped to attack Nigala1 and then suddenly everything went
dark....later I was told that everyone had been knocked unconcious and
changed to 90-years-old by something but I cannot remember right now. But
before the the unconcious wave spread over the crew, Tebok was at Tactical
and was killed while trying to evade the Romulans. He was a good
friend and we shall mourn this loss of him.

Well, just another ordinary day, as far as Nigala is concerned. First, the
wormhole sent out this wave that knocked everyone out and gave us the bodies

of the wormhole, with Romulan Warbirds intent on destroying it. Captain
Dmoney, FsLtJade, EnsLani and myself beamed over to the second Nigala, where
everyone was very old. While the Reliant was fighting off the Romulans,
Captain Dmoney had us cras the stations together,
knocking everyone out again. When we woke up, we all had returned to our

the same instant as the computer announces it is ready to begin with the log.
This is a most unusual time. The wormhole is open and several messages need
to be sent as well as some other business. Taking a station run-about, I
carried the messages through the wormhole. Several of the messages are to
Commander Leigh from different members of the crew.
While through the wormhole I also had the opportunity to meet and discuss
Security procedures with others in my position from different ships. This
meeting should help me aboard Nigala.
I am sure Lani and the others can handle the station in my absence, I just
hope nobody decides to blow it up like they did when I went to find my

Lieutenant Commander Scott Jeter

DUTY LOG:

The crew of Nigala had been transformed into eight-year-olds, and
retained the knowledge of their adult brains. A second Nigala station (a
heavily damaged one, I might add) had come through the wormhole unexpectedly
and was being attacked by a fleet of romulan vessels that had also come
through the wormhole. Our first priority was to defeat/destroy the romulan
vessels so that we could properly assess the situation and perhaps unravel
the mystery behind the second nigala and our unexpected
transformation.
As ordered by the Captain, I commanded the USS Reliant with Krysta,
Lani, Scott, Tebok, and Paul. We departed the station and engaged the
romulan vessels. With our evasive maneuvers, insight on the modulation of
the romulan ships, and our weapons we were able to destroy most of the fleet
without problems. We did push the energy outputs to their max, but Ensign
Paul at engineering kept on top of that.
We did have one romulan vessel left which was not an easy target. Our
shields were down to 40 percent and our power was dropping. Eventually we
did get our power back up to acceptable limits. Torah was given our
targetting information in attempts to destroy the romulan vessel along with
the Reliant. Eventually the vessel was indeed destroyed.
Lieutenant j.g. Tebok was critically injured in the middle of this
confrontation. Medical emergency was declared and medics quickly arrived on
the bridge. Ensign Lani went to look over him; his vitals were not good last
time I was informed on the bridge. He and Lani (and the medics) beamed to
sickbay to attempt to save his life.
As requested by Torah the Reliant stayed out of range of the two
Nigalas, which were moving on an intercept course to each other. Suddenly a
beam of light enveloped us and I, along with the rest of the crew, was
knocked unconscious and hit my head. When I awoke, the entire crew was back
to our original bodies - and there was only one nigala.
I am still a little foggy and confused about the entire ordeal.
However, I will recieve a report that will I'm sure explain every detail that
I did not know about.

"Within moments, the two nigala's collided, though I cannot remember

Lieutenant Commander Scott Jeter
Chief Science Officer
Space Station Nigala
stardate: 9708.11

DUTY LOG:

The crew was in the middle of repairing damage to the station and the
USS Reliant, which had undergone a heavy pounding and was in need of work.
Captain DMoney and Commander Tok were busy in the Ready Room, going over the
dreaded crew evaluation reports that they love to do so much. I was in
command in Ops, monitoring the progress of the repairs and handling the
shuffling of crewmen coming and going in Ops.
The Federation supply ship that was expected came through the wormhole
and requested permission to dock. Granted, the ship proceeded to dock at
Docking bay four. Torah was dispatched to the bay to greet the Captain of
the supply ship and oversee the offloading of packages and supplies.
I checked in periodically with Torah, and Krysta who was in charge of
Engineering and the repairs of the station/Reliant (since Harsh's exit). I
also kept on top of problems that arose with some of the ensigns in Ops who
were attempting to get their repair jobs straight. I dealt with a confused
ensign, an ensign who *accidentally* blew-out the tactical console, a few
ensigns that kept handing me padds... However, there was no difficulty and
all went well..at least, in Ops.

Mission Log

We succeded in restoring our bodies to our normal sizes, the
way we managed to do it however was very.."Strange" I was stationed at
Tacticle on the Relianth during this phase of our mission. I managed to hold
off the Romulans, but was killed in battle, I do not know what happened
afterwards. Later however, I read the reports, we pushed the other Nigala
wich had "Older" doubles of the crew aboard.
The two statons actually meneded togeather in a blinding flash of light, this
is when I woke up and found myself in my own 20 year old Body.

Ens Baumer Nigala Duty Log Stardate 9708.11

My first day aboard the station seemed to be pretty much uneventfull. I was
given a tour of station Nigala by my new boss, Lieutenant Commander Jade.
She's a tall one alright, but she seems to be easy to get along with. Jade
let me take tactical for the rest of the duty shift.

A blip decided to slip out of space into a place where the station seemed
it's destination. They gave us a ring, and the strangest thing, we went to
pause before finding the cause of their hail.
