After dealing with a research project on Daled IV which was destroyed by a
rebel faction, and the research team's rescue by a Starfleet team, Elana
decided she ought to add some security/defense studies, so she applied to
SFA.

She continued her marine biology studies while pursuing a security/tactical
secondary degree.

Elana met and became involved with FstLt. Christiaan Back on the USS
Potemkin. While on medical LOA for tulipola, she had a bi affair with her
childhood friend, Tiferet Joss, but the couple eventually worked through the
problem.

A couple months after arriving on the Nigala, she met Ensign Sasha Jakea. It
turned out that Sasha was the new host of the Jakea symbiont -- which had
previously been in Lt. Tranor Jakea, whom Elana had been engaged to, but
Tranor had been killed at the Battle of the Borg at Sector 001. The two women
had a very strong attraction for one another, but Elana finally told Sasha
that she needed to move on with her life and not live her past host's life
over.

Her parents were both Starfleet officers, her mother a medical officer and
her father an engineer. They met on the USS Holland in 2344 and married a
year later. A year after that, her sister Jessinta was born. In 2347, they
were transferred to the USS Amsterdam. A year after that, Paris was born.
<<Yes, named after the city he was concieved in>> Four years later, Maya was
born. In true Vulcan style, they do not have surnames that are pronounceable.
Four months before Maya was born, her father made captain aboard the
Amsterdam.

Born in 2352 while her parents were on vacation on Barisa Prime, Maya was
showing signs of engineering ability by the time she was four. Her father
nutured it, since her sister was more into science and her brother a medical
wiz. When she was six, her mother went on a mission to a plague ravaged
planet to help the victims. It was a four week mission, but even before the
end of it, she was exhibiting signs of the plague. She was beamed back to the
Amsterdam, where she died five days later. Her death had a profound effect on
the family.

A year after her mothers death, her father moved them all to the federation
colony of Barisa Prime permanently as the head of the "Complex." He led a
solitary life until the fall of 2363, when he met Tiran, a Vulcan scientist.
They were married in 2364, and her half brother Tyvek was born in 2365. Maya
had the most contact with both Tyvek and Tiran of the three children. By the
time Tyvek was born, Jessinta had already graduated high school and was
at the Daystrom institute. Paris was a Junior in high school and left a year
after Tyvek was born for the academy.

Maya did not accept Tiran at first, fearing that she would replace the
already fuzzy memories of her mother. It put a strain on the family, until
they finally talked about it and managed to come to an agreement. She was
accepted into the academy in 2370, with her father in bad health. By the
middle of her freshman year, he was dead. Maya was devastated when she
recieved the news, for she felt that maybe if she had been there she would
have been able
to help prevent his death.

After his death, she considered leaving the academy, but her quad mates,
especailly one Jema Kooz, convinced her to stay. She is still in contact
wiall of them.
~Micellanious~

She has three cats, Chestnut, Goldie and Patches, that are the same age as
her. They were a gift from her grandmother, a sort of family tradition. The
cats are genetically engineered so they will survive anywhere from thirty to
forty years.

The "Complex" refered to above is the Starfleet base on the planet Barisa
Prime. It is very much like a regular space staion, except, well, it's not in
space. It was originally built as a training ground in the 23rd century. It
has been upgraded and refitted many times since then and has found a purpose
as a proving ground for certain types of new technology and as a trade center
in the sector.

~Pshycological Profile~

Very intelligent, though shyness does sometimes get in the way of her work.
Sometimes has trouble dealing with her heritage as she was sometimes teased
by other people on the Amsterdam, mostly about her ears, since they are the
primary diferentiating factor. She has a close bond with her family and
friends. Seems to have some sort of telepathic bond with her cats, though
this has never been proven. Has trouble mingeling with people, though she
recognizes this as a fault and tries to correct it. At the time of this
evaluation, she was able to talk about the death of both her parents, though
it took her a while to answer some of the questions. Seemed very remote when
asked about her feelings toward mixed heritage.

Psychological Profile: Where do I begin with this young man? He is
definately top drawer Starfleet Officer material; however, there are many
things which cloud that fact. From his first day at the Academy, Wil has
continually shown signs of rebellion. Yet, he is also quite dedicated and
loyal to Starfleet. He has been know to study long into the night, only to
drive into the classroom on his vintage motorcycle. Only his sterling
performance on all exams, and the direct personal intervention of the
superintendent, Admiral Henry Stimpson, kept Mr. Shade from being expelled.
Wil Shade spent more time in mandatory
community service work than any other cadet in the history of Starfleet
Academy. He always spent his community service time with Boothby, the
Academy groundskeeper. Boothby's reports always held Mr. shade in the

did, on purpose.
Anyway, Wil Shade is a fine and capable
officer. He will have a long and distinguished career in Starfleet. All of

Mother and (Father), Torah, were captured by Romulans. Mother was forced to
watch as Romulans first tortured and then killed Toral, after she had been
raped repeatedly in front of him.
------When she was freed by a Klingon ship, she went to Vulcanis where she
had a friend who tried to get her to abort the child. T'Pal would not hoping
the conception had occurred before the capture. It had not.
-------He hid his Romulan ancestry under the guise of being part Vulcan,
until his Godmother informed him that his blood father had been Romulan,
instead of his mother being part Vulcan. After he was told of his ancestry,
He joined Starfleet in the area of security in hopes that He could earn honor
in preventing other people from being treated as his mother was.
-------He was raised on Vulcanis and taught the ways of the Vulcan's. The
attempt at pure logic did not hold. Many occasions his Klingon heritage was
helpful though as a child. Climbing Mt Sol his stepbrother started to slip
and he reached down and grabbed him one handed and pulled him up to a ledge,
the emotional reaction supplying the extra strength.
-------He took leave from Nigala in hopes of finding his full heritage. A DNA
test on Romulas helped him find a half-brother (Noraak) and his wife
(Taynora). He was working with him doing various piloting duties on his
diplomatic duties. Torah also served as a bodyguard at several functions,
many on Romulus or Remus themselves. The Romulans seemed to have accepted him
more than it was thought they would based on his mixed
heritage.
-------While on Remus, Noraak and Torah were in a restraunt when Torah
overheard two Romulans talking about the destruction of a federation space
station. He went over and asked them to tell him more. They said they were on
a research mission when they came upon the station and destroyed it and all
that were on it. He asked which station and they said the commander had said
it was NIGALA! He went outside and waited on them.
Pulling them into the alley, he turned off a holoprojector that had made him
look full Romulan. He threw one of them into the wall and picked up the
other. The one in his hand spat at him as the other stirred, He told him, "I
had friends on that station," he laughed -- so Torah killed him, just snapped
his neck. He started toward the other with bloodlust still burning in his
heart and eyes. The Romulan looked in his eyes and told the true story --
they had been cloaked and contacted the station for supplies, after getting
some repairs, they left and as they were recloaking, the station blew up.
As he said that, Noraak stepped into the alley and confirmed it. He had
contacted some friends and found that the station had blown up without help
from any Romulans.
--------Shortly after that, Taynora introduced Torah to one of her friends,
Kellina. With no reason to go back to the station, They were married. Eight
months later, upon returning from a trip with Noraak, they found that Taynora
and Kellina had each been hiding a secret, each was pregnant. But Torah and
Noraak found out after they were killed by a cowardly attack on the colony.
It was carried by a group of Romulans who did not
want the bloodline "TAINTED" by other species.
--------While Noraak and Torah were cleaning the rubble, news came to that
the station had been rebuilt and no one had died. Noraak looked at Torah and
told him to go back to his friends. That was where He belonged. The senator
gave him a scout ship in order to return to Nigala. The ship still has its
cloaking device intact and can achieve a max of warp 5. It also is equipped
with type 2 disrupters and a type 2 medium tractor beam.
-------During the latter part of Leigh's pregnancy, Torah was named acting
Chief of Security. Turns out it was good practice. Leigh decided that she
should join her husband and resigned her position. Though she HAS promised to
visit when she can. In the wake of her departure Torah was promoted to Chief
of Security.
-----Torah has truly found happiness. His relationship with Sasha has brought
out the best in him. Their wedding is a focus ofhis efforts and could very
well be the party of the year.
------------------COUNSELOR'S REPORT----------------------
-----Torah is a very unusual Klingon, partly because he is half-Romulan, and
raised on Vulcan. Though he has not completely mastered the Vulcan control of
emotions, he has a better grip than most Klingons. His Romulan bloodline has
given him a small amount of telepathy, mostly being able to detect emotions
and mood swings.
The telepathy allows him to communicate both ways with another, stronger
telepath, though he cannot speak to a non telepath. He also has the Vulcan
ability to mind-meld. What this means is currently unclear but could use some
further testing.
------Torah seems to have found himself in his new role as Chief of Security.
Before he was incomplete with no significant other. Now I no longer believe
that a new mate will make or break him.

Personal History:
Javier, (Or Javi as he likes to be called) is the fourth of six children. He
was born to a wealthy family on the coasts of Mazatlan, on Earth. His parents
owned and ran a series of resorts along the Mexican coastline. Javier was the
middle child in the family and often the forgotten one. He worked in his
father's resort in Mazatlan as a chef, but also held a variety of other jobs
at certain points. Javier, being raised on the shores of Mexico,
his original language is Spanish, but has adapted to speaking English very
well.

Javier, being the fourth of six children, often tagged along with his older
brothers, Michael and Luis. Both of them entered Starfleet as soon as they
graduated from high school. He followed their lead and entered just a few
months after his graduation from Playa Hermosa high school

Javier, along with Paco and his twin Marina, inherited a limited sense of
telepathy. They were the only three of their sybllings to inherit this
ability. Although this sense is rather weak in all three of them, between the
two twins, the sense is rather strong, tests have been run to try to explain
this, but no results have come from these tests. Javier sense of telepathy is
stronger than the twins, yet still considered weak by the norm.

Javier is a rather quiet and shy individual. His good-natured, layed-back,
personality made him well liked in the academy and at home. He often
surrendered the spotlight to his little brother Ramon, who enjoyed the
attention more than he did. Javier's intelligence higher than the norm, but
he not a genius. His grades were worthy of high honors, but he graduated
lowest of all high honors students, with exactly a 3.5 grade point average.

Special Achievements:
Javier has been recognized for academics, athletics, and even was named
Galaxy Food's chef of the month award twice, and is the youngest person to
ever win the chef of the year award. Javier comes from a very athletic
family. While in high school, he won two quadrant championships in his first
two years in the 100 and 200 meter dashes before surrendering that honor to
his younger brother Ramon. Javier also was quite a football player, being
named
to the all-quadrant team 3 of his four years

Stardate 9605.16 Finally settled in. Its about time. I think it going to be
nice working on a space station. To be settled in one place, instead of
zooming though the galaxy, always feeling the deck moving under your feet.

Stardate 9605.28 It's kind of stressful around my comrades, me being new and
all, they want to know about where I've been and what I've seen. I've came
awful close a time or two, to saying too much. I hope they understand, I just
want a normal life, I'm tried of what I did before.

Stardate 9606.21 My leave got approved. I'll be leaving for Kronos the first
of next week. I'm still trying, apparently in vein, to find out who my
parents were.

Stardate 9607.29 Went into Delta Quadrant for the first time today, it looks
the same, but feels very different, I have a strange feeling I'm going to
send a lot of time here.

Stardate 9608.24 Finally got some response from the Klingon government, they
think they might know who my mother was. I find that odd, I've always thought
of my father as the Klingon.

Stardate 9609.15 DNA tests proved false, guess the search continues.

Stardate 9609.30 Got a call today from Ja, it turns out he joined Starfleet
and will be passing by next week. I can't wait, I haven't seen him since we
were kids.

Danube-Class Runabout

SHIP SPECIFICATIONS:
LENGTH: 23.1 meters

COMPUTER CORE: a twin-core concept, located within cockpit subfloor, contains
186 isolinear banks and 53 command preprocessors and data analysis units;
core maintains reliable flight control systems for the cockpit during all
conditions.

PROPULSION SYSTEMS: warp system employs a horizontal matter/antimatter
reaction system, located across the spine of the ship's structure. Eight
impulse fusion reactors, space-time driver coils, and vectored exhaust
directors are also installed on the Danube-class runabouts.

TACTICAL SYSTEMS: Six phaser strips (standard) on the Danube-class, although
multirole modules can be attached to the exterior top of the vessel that
contain up to four full-size photon- or quantum-torpedoes. The use of
microtorpedoes (13.3 cm in length) is also optional, via a launching device
attached to the sensor pallet under the cockpit. Microtorpedoes have a
miniature fusion thruster and can be loaded with a variety of

has the ship's main sensor and navigational deflector, airlock module, and a
last-resort antimatter warhead. Nacelles have been established
closer to the hull, withing minimum safe distance. EPS weapon-power conduits
have been truncated to provide a nearly-0 lag time between weapon activation
signal and beam launch. all internal systems that provide access to external
are equipped with detachable plating, so that they (shuttlebay, lifeboats,
etc.) are hidden from view. An integral set of docking clamps and landing
pads are in place for recoverable planetary landings.

COMPUTER SYSTEMS: Twin-core, posessing 675 banks and able to store up to
246.87 megaquads. Typical missions involve only 45% of processing and
storage capacity (other 55% can be used for tactical systems, or in place of
a damaged core). The Nosferatu can work on a single core if necessary.

PROPULSION SYSTEMS: Warp core spans all 4 decks vertically, follows standard
matter/antimatter reaction system and standard USF protocols. Maximum warp
velocity (with tactical system operating) is warp 9.982. The primary impulse
system consists of three pairs of redundant fusion reactors, space-time
driver coils, and vectored exhaust directors.

TACTICAL SYSTEMS: Albative armor, 4 pulse phaser cannons, and two quantum
torpedo launchers (standard). Other weapons include the detachable warhead
(with magazine of 6 photon torpedo warheads), auto-destruct, and specialized
ordanance. All tactical functions are controlled through the two tactical
stations on the bridge.

OTHER SYSTEMS: The Nosferatu is equipped with one primary and one backup
transporter system, 22 main crew cabins, 10 contingency cabins, replicators,
wardroom, sickbay, artificial gravity, inertial dampers, type 10 shuttlecraft

PERSONAL HISTORY (Family)

Charlette was born to Renee (father) and Annette (mother) while en route
to Earth from a classified institute. Renee and Annette are both experts in
the field of genetics. They have assisted Starfleet in many areas with their
expertise. Charlette or Charlie, as she prefers to be called by most that
know her, has no other siblings. She basically has no other living relatives
than her mother and father who still reside on
Earth in the old country of France.


PERSONAL HISTORY (Childhood)

Charlette was not raised poorly by any means. Her family owns a
beautiful Villa in the South of France. No expenses were spared in raising
Charlette in the way that her parents wanted her to be. Charlette lived a
fairly isolated life style until she was 16. Charlette's parents had far
greater plans for her than Charlette ever could have imagined until she grew
older.
Charlette frequently visited doctors and specialists on Earth. They
were constantly running tests on her. They tested her reactions to many
different forms of drugs and genetic materials. She was always under the
watchful eye of her parents. Charlette was able to read minds easily and
move objects using her thoughts with ease.
Renee and Annette personally saw to Charlette's schooling and education
on many subjects. She was drilled in both the technical and physical
applications. She was also taught many languages. She was taught not to use
a universal translator but to instead speak the languages directly. It is
apparent that Charlette has a photographic memory.
When Charlette turned 16 she was allowed to attend a local academy to
enhance her social skills. This was difficult at first because she realized
quickly that she wasn't like any one else. She was able to hear what they
thought, yet they could not hear what she thought. She found out that the
others couldn't move things like she could. This distressed her. She felt
somewhat like a freak. Her parents just told her that she was special and
that she needed to learn how to blend in and not be noticed. Her family has a
strong sense of duty and honor so she followed their wishes without question.

STARFLEET EXPERIENCE

There is technically no formal record of Charlette's services to
Starfleet. Charlette found out when she was 19 that she had been genetically
manipulated for certain purposes even before birth. She was part of an
experiment to create humans that could maintain the abilities that only other
races had been able to achieve. They also experimented with a mutant gene
that allows her outward appearance to be changed to whatever
set of genes they induce into her system. For example, if Starfleet needed
someone to infiltrate the Klingons they would induce specific DNA sequences
into Charlette's system and after a matter of time her outward appearance
would change to that of a Klingon. Certain races had already been able to
achieve this for some changing (i.e. A Cardassian looking totally like a
Bajoran without flaw). Charlette's transformations are nearly undetectable
by
known medical means at this time.
Starfleet had wanted someone to try their theories on and Renee and
Annette had offered their services when they found out that Annette was
pregnant. Charlette did not want to be a part of it all after she found out,
but she was forced to because of the agreement that had already been set down
by her parents before she was even born.
For several years Charlette infiltrated different races and groups to
gather information for Starfleet. She has been everything from a Bajoran to
a Romulan, a Cardassian to a Ferengi. Once she turned 29 she was released
from her agreement with Starfleet with the knowledge that they might someday
again call on her, but the answer would be up to her.

POST STARFLEET HISTORY

Once released from the "agreement" Charlette packed up her belongings
and left Earth trying to leave it all behind. She has basically severed all
contact with those from Earth that put her through her lifetime of grief.
She still has plenty of "means" at her disposal whenever she choses to use
it.
After searching for a while for a new place to live she decided upon the
new Space Station Nigala. There was enough of a variety of cultures there
that she felt that she could get lost in the crowd. She began to feel,
however, that she was useless. She was used to her life having some sort of
purpose to it, even if she didn't like what the purpose was at the time.

BECOMING A BUSINESS WOMAN

Charlie noticed that the Station was lacking a place for some clean
entertainment and relaxation areas. She brought a plan to Vice Admiral
Anders for an establishment that she intended to make and sustain for the
crew. After he approved of her plan she began to make preparations for what
she hoped to be a pleasant place for the crew to come and visit.
When Vice Admiral Anders retired to that of an Ambassador, Captain
DMoney took over the day to day operations of the station. Charlette was
pleased when DMoney decided to let her business remain on the station. He
had even called on her a few times to run the Ten Forward on the USS Treiste
during some off-station missions.
Through each new Commanding Officer of the station, Charlie has maintained a
good repor with them. She runs a clean establishment, and has never had a
run in with security. (Unless she called them there to break up a fight.)
Charrlette maintains several of her own maintenance and repair personnel on
staff to see to the needs of her business. In times of need these personnel
are lent to the Nigala, free of charge.

PERSONAL TRAITS

Charlie is pretty easy going. She loves to be around lots of different
people and races. She was so isolated when she was younger that she just
wants to help everyone not to be lonely or alone even if she is herself.
Due to her genetic altering her thoughts are not able to be read by most
telepaths. Her telepathic abilities, however, are very strong.

SPECIAL ABILITIES AND TRAITS

Charlette is fully telepathic and telekinetic. Her appearance can also
be changed by the entrance of another races particular DNA sequences. All of
this is due to the genetic manipulation of her genes since conception. She
does try to hide all facts that she has these abilities.
