SHIELDS AND DEFLECTORS:
The Khazara is equipped with a N'Korta Warbird Navigational Deflector.
This protects the ship from most forms of radiation. The Khazara has an
advanced model of the N'Korta Warbird Navigational Deflector. It operates at
40% plus the efficiency of the average deflector.
The RES Khazara is also equipped with heavy Tactical shield. This
shield protects the Khazara in battle situations. The Khazara's shielding
device has also been upgraded. The RES Khazara's shields operate at 50% plus
the effiency of an average Warbird shielding device. While cloaked, the
Khazara's shields operate at 55% of the normal efficiency.
The RES Khazara is equipped with a Metaphasic shield. The Metaphasic
shield was developed by Romulan scientists shortly after vessels in the
United Federation of Planets began using them. The Metaphasic shield allows
the RES Khazara to enter a sun's corona for extended periods. Recent
improvements allow the Khazara to stay cloaked while using the Metaphasic
shield.

LONG-RANGE SENSORS:
The RES Khazara has powerful long-range sensors. These sensors can be
used in many different types of missions. The Khazara can also detect cloaked
vessels that are within 2900 kilometers of the Khazara.

DISRUPTERS:
The RES Khazara is equipped with 20 arrays of advanced disrupters.
These disrupters are used in ship to ship battles. These disrupters cannot,
however, be fired while the Khazara is cloaked. Therefore, the Khazara must
decloak before it can fire its disrupters.

TORPEDOES:
The RES Khazara is equipped with, on average, 500 photon torpedoes. The
torpedoes can be fired from one of any of the 15 torpedo tubes on the
Khazara. Like the disrupters, the Khazara cannot fire photon torpedoes while
cloaked. This means that the RES Khazara must decloak to fire photon
torpedoes.
The RES Khazara is also equipped with, on average, 150 Vekal-Special
Use torpedoes. The Vekal-SUs can be fired while cloaked. The torpedoes cannot
be fired, however, when the Khazara is phase cloaked. The Vekal-SUs can be
fired from 5 of the 15 photon torpedo tubes.

CLOAKING DEVICE:
The Khazara is equipped with an advanced Romulan cloaking device. The
standard cloaking device was improved by Romulan scientists. The Khazara can
both regularly and phase cloak.

PRE-MILITARY ACADEMY BACKGROUND

Born in Siruent, Alidar was very failiar with the country side and often
times dissapeared for days at a time into the country side and the moutains
as a child. Very curious and innovative, he created a small moutain dwelling
on his own at the age of 12. He learned survival skils, wildcrafting,
Alchemy, and hunting. He was an avid explorer of caves and the forrest areas
surrounding the moutains near Siurent, and is an expert boater, having build
his own boats and taught himself sailing on Lake
Seikea, one of ch'Rihans' largest lakes. Following in the footsteps of most
of his ancestors, Alidar entered the Military Academy at the age of 16.

ROMULAN MILITARY ACADEMY

At the age of 16, Alidar joined the military academy, following not only
in Romulan tradition, but in the proud footsteps of his father, an father's
father. He entered, and was not the most promising student in his class.
While he passed a good portion of his classes by only small margins, Alidar
was still very exceptional at the pratical uses of his classes. Included is a

Institue and began courses at the instutite in Psychology. Alidar has a PhD
in Psychology, which was confered to him at the same time as his Military

After graduation, Alidar was posted to the RES Haakona, where his
military career began.

SERVICE RECORD

Alidar was posted to the RES Haakona, which would prove to be the worst
posting of his life, even though he learned the majority of his experience
here. His first posting was assistant to the Chief Weapons officer. Here
Alidar served for a year before being promoted to the Rank of Erien (ensign).
Once promoted to officer status, Alidar's career began to take flight.
He acceled at his work, and was promoted within 6 months to Daise'Erien
(Lieutenant JG) and was transfered to the RES Raptor, a Romulan covert
operations ship run by the Tal Shiar. Here, Alidar was assigned to the
Psychological warfare department, where he again acceled.
After three years of service on the RES Raptor, and two promotions
(Vriha'Erien {Lieutenant} and Erei'Riov {Lieutenant Commander}) Alidar was
transfered to the RES Talon wihch was the Tal Shiar training. It was three
months later, and at the age of 25, that Alidar became one of the youngest
officers ever to enter the sacred ranks of the Tal Shiar. He served
faithfully as the Head of Psychological warfare in the tal Shiar before given
the rank of Enarrain (Captain) (Note, Alidar never served as
Daise'Erai'Riov {Commander} in the Romulan Military) and was posted to the
RES NightHawk.
At the age of 28, Alidar retired, having been the youngest Romulan to
retire from the Military, and Alidar took a position on the Romulan Senate.
After one year of service, he became restless and began to search for
openings in the Military. Eventually, he found a commition, and was
reinstated into the Military as commanding officer, RES Khazara.

PSYCHOLOGICAL PROFILE

Enarrain tr'Neral holds a PhD in psychology, and it is that doctorate
that enables him to be such an effective Enarrain. He enjoys mind games, and
tormenting pshcyologically, his opponets, and psychological torture comes
easy to him.
He is a competient Enarrain, and an effective member of the Romulan
Military. He believes in indvidualistic conformity, and is easy to get along
with. However, he does expect a standard that will be met, or others will
suffer the consequences.

Romulan History:
<<Little is known about his history in the Tal'Shiar, it is
rumored he led a surprise assault on the Dominion 25 years at
WH DX-77 before their more widely known discovery, little else

functioned as deputy director of external affairs; the division
assigned to deal with the military and foreign governments and
the interaction of the above parties.
His reason for defection are not quite clear, while he
claims to have defected due to high levels of corruption in the
Tal'Shiar. His life may have been in danger also.

Starfleet History:
Jertak defected to the USF in the incident portrayed in
"Face of the Enemy" he proceeded to star base 299 for
questioning.
3 months later he became a federation citizen, and was
accepted into Starfleet academy over the protest of several
members of Starfleet command. He currently has at least 2
bounties on his head from various sources. Including the
Dominion.
He was kidnaped by the Grilk along with Ambassador Anders,
but was later rescued by the USS federation. During that
mission he discovered some data crystals of unknown origin,
which were later stolen. He has recently been investigating the
murder of senator Qui'linn & Proconsul Neral of the Romulan
empire. The insane Vulcan Captain Szak has been arrested for
the crimes, but JAW has continued to probe deeper into Romulan
files. & discovered a Dominion plot of unknown aims.
He was charged with treason in connection with the
kidnaping of First Lt Maarek. but was acquitted when Shado aka
Etmar'Obt confessed and faked a suicide attempt. he then
defeated Etmar'Obt, the Changeling assassin & thief of the data
crystals. And stopped a battle fleet attacking DS9 with the
help of a newly acquired cloak on the Federation.
Sometime later he went to Romulus on a attempt to thwart
once and for all the changeling copy of admiral Vega. While a
prisoner on Remus, JAW was reunited with his fiancee Qui'linn
who had also been investigating the origins of the mysterious
data crystal. They discovered it to be a powerful device used
by the legendary Ka'Voor'Tah, the creators of the Founders.
JAW and Qui'linn, with the help of a mysterious black

Ka'Voor'Tah. Thwarted Vega and destroyed the crystal. However,
Qui'linn & and the figure disappeared. leaving no trace.

both mother and father were killed when 3 Federation vessels attacked during
an attempted peace conference on Earth. There are no confirmed survivers.
However, it is speculated that there was an infant female beamed to the
surface just prior to the destruction of the Warbird.
This has been investigated and it is believed that Admiral Jennifer Murphy
of Star Fleet Command, was the infant surviver. It is possible that she is a

PRE-MILITARY BACKGROUND

Sela was born on the outskirts of the bustling city of Srihalrah,
Ch'Havran. An agriculturally based economy, Srihalrh attracted a large
number of farmers and ranchers, as well as the businessmen who supplied them.
The Cha'Taris home stood alone on a large plot of land, seperated from the
rest of the community. Sela became well aquainted with her natural
surroundings- the desert and the animals that inhabited it. Her father,
Jarok, was rarely home because of his Tal Shiar duties. He was killed by
a Unifactionist spy when she was 12. Her mother Arrhae, was an avid
astronomer and taught Sela all about the science, and it became her favorite
pasttime. At 18 Sela entered the Romulan military academy.

ROMULAN MILITARY ACADEMY

At 18, Sela was one of the older members of her class. She did not work
hard, yet excelled in everything she did. Her first 2 years went flawlessly,
but her 3rd year was temporarily interrupted by her mothers sudden death due
to an unknown physical condition. Her brother, J'Lan, came to live with her
on campus, and because he too was a quick study, he entered the academy at
15, during Sela's 4th year. A basic summary of her classes is included.

Science: Space/Time Theory, Astronomy, Dyson's Sphere Techonology, Wormholes

Sela graduated in the top 4% of her class with a focus on Space/Time
theory and Astronomy, and a special assignment to the Rihan Elite Warfare
Academy, which she was to graduate from with a degree before she would be
commissioned. She graduated second in her class at this school, and was then
posted on her first ship, the RES Aehallh.

SERVICE RECORD

Sela was posted to the RES Aehallh as the helm officer, but after 6 months
was moved to the Tactical department. After 7 more months she was promoted
to the rank of Erien (ensign).
As an officer, Sela began to put her knowledge to good use. A year later,
an unusual mission involving time travel anabled her to prove her worth as a
resourceful scientist, and after safely returning her ship to it's proper
time she was promoted to Daise'Erien (Lieutenant JG). She was transfered to
a science vessel, but accomplished little there and after 5 months returned
to the Aehallh as a science officer.
Even though she found science fascinating, she stagnated in that
department and sat there for a year and a half before being promoted again.
At the age of 26 she had reached Vriha'Erien (Lieutenant). She requested a
transfer to Engineering but was denied. She was instead moved back to her
origional post of Helm, with a double in Tactical.

In a battle against the Federation, the Aehallh suffered severe damage. The
captain and second officer were killed; the first officer was wounded. Sela
took control of the hysteric crew and led the ship to a victory. She
executed a series of offensive maneuvers she had designed herself, and the
Federation vessel was completely destroyed. For this action she was promoted
to the rank of Erei'Riov (Lieutenant Commander) and given the positions of
Chief Tactical and Second Officer. She was 27. She
served in this capacity for two years, until her Executive Officer was
indicted by the Tal Shiar on charges of Unification sympathies. She was
promoted to Daise'Erai'Riov and given XO duties aboard the Aehallh. She was
29.
At 30, the Romulan military decided she would better serve the Empire as
the First Officer of it's newest warbird, the RES Khazara.

PSYCHOLOGICAL PROFILE

Sela Aidoann Cha'Taris is an extremely talented and gifted officer.
Strong both physically and mentally, she has proved on multiple occassions
that she is worthy of her current rank of Daise'Erai'Riov.

Born on Ch'Rihan, she was taken from her home at the age of 4 and has no
memory of her parentage. She only knew the story she had been told about the
Rihannsu rulling queen t'Rehu. That became the name she went by. The humans
who had stolen her from her home were Maquis and thought she may be of value,
to train as a Maquis, then spy on the Romulans. But a Federation ship
shortly intervened and took t'Rehu back to Earth to be studied by Federation
scientists. They ran many tests to find out Romulan
weaknesses. But late one night, she escaped, and found herself wandering
the unfamilliar terrain of Earth. It was strangely cold there to her. All
of a sudden, a Klingon emerges from the shadows and glares at t'Rehu, drawing
his knife. He attempts to rape her, but after he held her on the ground, he
was thrown off by a shadowed figure. The shadow fought the Klingon and
killed him. t'Rehu saw the form take down the hood which covered her face,
and saw the face of a Cardassian woman. "My name is
Taavlin" said the woman. "You will be safe with me", she added. With that,
t'Rehu was raised by her and trained in the arts of spying, infiltrating,
sabbatoge, and espionage. She learned quickly how to break into Federation
and other computer systems. However, one day she arrived back disguised as a
Vulcan only to find Taavlin dead. She scanned the room and found Klingon
sheddings in it. She vowed revenge against whoever had done this. t'Rehu
finally decided it was time to return home. She was
20 years old when she created a fake ID and took a ride with a Federation
ambassador class ship which would patrol the Neutral Zone. She was able to
run her transmission along a Federation frequency asking for any Romulan
ships in the area to beam her to their ship. Tomalak responded and
transported her to his ship. He took her to Ch'Rihan where she was fortunate
enough to meet the Praetor himself. She had lived on Earth for a long time,
and knew many Federation secrets, therefore, the Praetor was
interested to meet her. He had watched her kill one of his guards as the
treacherous guard attempted to assassinate him. After seeing that, he made
t'Rehu his own personal assassin. She had quickly become known as the
reincarnation of Ch'Rihan's Rulling queen, because of the way she wanted so
much for Ch'Rihan, and would do anything to bring glory and honor to the
Rihannsu Empire. She hasn't been to many millitary or other schools on
Ch'Rihan, but her being favored by the Praetor as well as her
teachings growing up had earned her way into the Rihannsu military. Known
for her mystery, t'Rehu never lets anyone become too close, this is the
reason for her being unbonded.

Father: Residing on Vulcan but no contact since leaving
Mother: Deceased
Children: 2 boys ages 15 & 13. The oldest has high hopes to become a
captain of a warbird and a member of the Tal Shiar; wishes to avenge his
father's death. Also has strong musical inclinations. My youngest is very
sensitive and artistic. He intends to pursue a career in medicine, following
in my footsteps.

History: My mother was the sole survivor of a Romulan outpost that was
attacked by Orion pirates. My father rescued her when his science ship
picked up the distress signals. Unwilling to continue into Romulan space
further, he returned to Federation territory and his home, Vulcan. There
they bonded, and I was born shortly thereafter. I have very few memories of
my mother as she died when I was very young giving birth to a stillborn
child.

I was raised ont Vulcan. My only friends (due to the fact that I was
illogical and too emotional) were Sarak's wife Phelan and his son Spock. I
learned to harness my mental/psychic abilities with their guidance. However,
by the age of 15, I had had enough, and made plans to return to what I was
coming to feel more and more as home, Ch'Rihan.

I stowed away on a freighter which was headed toward a starbase near the
neutral zone. While the majority of the crew was on shoreleave, I was able
to code a transmission to a Romulan warbird's captain, who transported me to
his ship.

I was taken to Ch'Rihan and interrogated, then welcomed when they found my
intentions were honorable and that I had no sympathy for the Federation. I
attempted during this time, and since, to learn more about my mother, but was
only able to learn that she had been in the Tal Shiar. Everything else has
been classified-top secret. I was sent to live with a family in the
mountains.

There I discovered I have an unusual ability to work with animals and small
children. They treated me well, and that was all (I cannot blame them as I
was fostered upon them by the Tal Shiar.). As soon as I was accepted, I went
away to medical school. There I learned about being a nurse and assisting in
surgery. I also studied the old ways of healing, and found that they should
not be dismissed. These ways can be more effective and much easier on the
patient. I followed this course, and was ready
to enter my fourth and final year, when I attended a symposium on tactical
manuevering ( don't ask me why, I still haven't figured it out myself). We
bonded before his next reassignment. Our children were our joy, and we both
agreed that their schooling could best be accomplished by my staying home and
teaching/guiding them. It was our hope they would become a great asset to
our Empire. It is still my greatest wish.

This past year has been the most eventful in my life. My husband and his
crew were murdered by a Federation ship sending a false distress call. I
sent the boys to their grandparents to ready for the academy; they are
extremely close and will flourish. I offered my meek services to the Empire
and was honored by being posted to this fine ship and crew. Now my husbands
wrongful death can be avenged, and perhaps my children can fulfill their
father's last wishes.
