Background Information

Trent is the son of two Starfleet officers assigned to various ships during
his
formative years. He developed a great love of space travel and general
exploration.
Throughout his life he has met and interacted with countless species. When
he
became old enough to apply to the academy he had no doubt in his mind as to
wether this was the right thing to do or not. He entered with the hopes to
get out
into space and reach the farthest corners of the universe.

Starfleet Studies

Trents basic aptitude tended to be in the areas of Tactical and Security.
He
has concentrated his studies in these areas and command training. He has
the normal concentration of mixed studies required of the academy with extra
hours in various areas of psychology. Few of his commanding officers noted
this training with appreciation of it's applications, most did not notice.
The training
has proved worthwhile in several situations so far. He is especially
grateful for
this during all assignment involving diplomacy.

Character notes

Trent is a born peace maker. He is comfortable at Tactical and Security
because he is so successful at creating a relaxed atmosphere between people.
The calm of his personality has been one of the keys to his leadership
abilities. He very rarely shows any sign of temper and always seems to have
a smile on his face. The crew that has worked with him has loved the relaxed
attitude he has maintained. He has been able to keep his department running
in peak form while maintaining the
casual attitude that is his trademark. His personality is very relaxed and
calm. Several crew members have noticed this during emergency situations and
not been able to understand. The simple fact is that he has grown up seeing
"warp core breaches", "red alerts", "alien attacks", and so many other
situations. He's seen it all and very little shocks him now. Some have
believed his calm disposition to
be a sign of niavete. The truth is it is a sign of experience. His greatest
downfalls are his dependence on charm to get him through too many situations
and his love of the fairer species. He is always on the lookout for a good
time and is more than able to get others to follow along.

SPECIAL ABILITIES / NOTES ON PHYSIOLOGY

Due to her Marriner heritage, Elana has some mild empathic healing

her neck. While on dry land, these gills lay flat, and are almost visually
impossible to detect.

Due to an accident SD9805, Elana lost the use of her natural eyes, which
were mutated into blindness through an alien gene. She now wears cybergenic

PERSONAL HISTORY

Elana was raised on Marrina II, which is predominantly water. After
graduating from R'Mara Academy, she went on to work on independent projects
and research studies dealing with marine biology.

After dealing with a research project on Daled IV which was destroyed by a
rebel faction, and the research team's rescue by a Starfleet team, Elana
decided she ought to add some security/defense studies, so she applied to
SFA.

She continued her marine biology studies while pursuing a security/tactical
secondary degree.

Elana met and became involved with FstLt. Christiaan Back on the USS
Potemkin. While on medical LOA for tulipola, she had a bi affair with her
childhood friend, Tiferet Joss, but she and Chris eventually worked through
the problem. Chris disappeared around SD9802.20, and Elana did not hear from
him again for many months.

A couple months after arriving on the Nigala, she met Ensign Sasha Jakea. It
turned out that Sasha was the new host of the Jakea symbiont -- which had
previously been in Lt. Tranor Jakea, whom Elana had been engaged to, but
Tranor had been killed at the Battle of the Borg at Sector 001. The two women
had a very strong attraction for one another, but Elana finally told Sasha
that she needed to move on with her life and not live her past host's life
over.

Elana completed Starfleet Ranger training SD9808, and received a posting
offer as Engineering Officer for the Starfleet Rangers base at Vantar IV, and
Chief of Engineering to Outpost Cousteau. She was somehow transferred back in
time to receive this assignment (space anomoly is suspected). It is not quite
certain how this occured; however, when OPC was transferred into the
"present" by a rogue Q circa SD9809, Elana discovered her time displacement.

When the Potemkin crew came to visit OPC to confirm the reappearance of the
"missing" Outpost, Elana found herself face-to-face with her past love, Lt.
Christiaan Back. After a rocky reunion they are once more involved.

Francisco ... he attended the Fleet's School and graduated in the top 5% of
his High school class.. he was very able and active in sports and other
extracurricular activities ... he was
voted most likely to become a Teacher by his Graduating classmates.. and he
proved them right in a way.. after graduating he took the Academy entrance
exam and passed it on his first try ... he gravitated to the ops and com area
and didn't let go of that graduating from the academy in the top 3% of his
class ... all his posting emulate that liking toward Operations and
Communications...all the while he Has always maintained A high level of
physical
workouts and sports. Enjoying basketball and American football.... His love
for computers has always stayed with him and its pictured in his extensive
Holodeck programs. Ranging from simple panoramic views of planets to
elaborate sports programs and personal combat programs....Mr. Mancuso, has
been very mobile in his posting due to his ability to teach others that which
he knows ... in many occasions he has given training session to fellow
crewmates.

In short. Mr. Mancuso's record has been exemplary ... unfortunately his
upward movement has not been as great as his experience dictates.. due mostly
to his constant transfers ... they have made it rather difficult for his CO's
to really get to know him enough to evaluate him for a promotion as fast as
he should have been ... in the Psychological profile of Mr. Mancuso this
evaluator asked him if he felt chastised because all of his Graduating
classmates had their own commands and he was still a Lieutenant Commander
...His answer was... "As long as I can do the job I like and Starfleet is
happy with it I'm OK to go up slowly. But I intend to be Captain someday. And
I'm working for that goal....." Mr. Mancuso is Assertive and Very Goal
oriented and has a very good balance of education and Mental Control. His
Vulcan training and Background helps him stay Cool under fire. This was
verified by
the Lifeboat Survivors of the USS Stargazer which drifted in space for 2
weeks until they were rescued by another Starship. His crewmates, have
testified of his total control and his undivided attention to those of the
crew that could not handle the pressure of the confined spaces of the
lifeboat he was in...On a more personal note... Mr. Mancuso has 2 brothers

Offworld Operations of the Vulcan Embassy on Earth. On Stardate 59411.6
Ambassador, Ky was recalled to Vulcan for
deliberations to the possibility of the unification effort by Ambassador
Spock with the Romulan Star Empire. Commodore Mancuso was Taken ill and had
gone through two surgical procedures to extricate malignant nodules in his
Lymphatic system. Later Commodore Mancuso Died of post-Operation
complications. Lt.Cmdr. Mancuso was not reachable at the moment of his
father's death.. later it was found that he was in command of a prototype
runabout in a secret
shakedown cruise on the gamma quadrant, all communication and telemetry was
lost after a few months...No word was received by Starfleet Command on the
progress or failure on the Runabout since its passage through the Bajoran
Wormhole on Stardate 59743.0 Ambassador Sylban Ky died of Natural causes on
stardate 59452.4 in the Romulan Home world, her body was returned to Vulcan
and she was laid to rest on Mount Saleya.

Subject: Lt.Cmdr. Daniel X. Mancuso.
Stardate: 97050.9
Case History:
Subject was rescued from an escape pod that passed through the Bajoran
wormhole from the Gamma Quadrant, No record exist in Starfleet of the subject
leaving Federation Space and No orders were issued to this Officer to go on
any mission to this Quadrant. Initially Starfleet Intelligence suspected that
this was an attempt from The Dominion to Infiltrate Starfleet Command But
after Blood Testing Proved the Subject was Human other considerations
came into effect. Extensive Consultations have been done with other members
of the command structure of the Research & Development Branch and it has come
to our knowledge that testing of a new Type of shuttle was initiated without
consent from the Federation Council or Starfleet Command.The Subject had
extensive and massive injuries encompassing 75 percent of his body with loss
of the right eye and needed amputation of the right leg at the knee.
Extensive regeneration of the skin on the remaining part of the leg was
needed and a cybernetic implant was installed. Before an optical replacement
for the right eye was installed the subject declined the procedure. As is
typical with subject's that have passed through stressful situations part of
his hair has turned white. Psychologically he is healthy, therapy sessions
should be instituted by this Doctor or by ship's Doctor should he go back to
active duty in a Starship. I am recommending such therapy sessions for the
next 6 to 12 months on a weekly basis and a reevaluation at the end of that
time. The Subject was extremely difficult to manipulate or control after the
recuperation period of his injuries passed, his need to "be alone" resurfaced
time and again. He has had trouble accepting instructions and orders from
superior officers and has acted in a negative attitude. Since therapy
started his attitude has changed to a more subdued one and his actions toward
command figures have changed to a more orthodox one. Although he still feels
more comfortable in solitude than in the company of others he has started to
play the instruments he had learned in the past. I recommend his
re-instalation to active duty and transfer as soon as possible to a Starship.

Personal Logs From Entity Spy
Arbmos...a sentient being part of the silent legions of the
Dominion...the perfect Mole... a complete duplicate of the
original...memories, identifying marks even DNA sequence. Perfectly
duplicated, or better the alien was undetectable since it lost its original
body to become the new duplicate. When the body died it died with it. A one
way trip to complete the mission. It was a perfect plan, with
the changelings all ready in place in various ranks of Starfleet and the
Federation council it was easy for Arbmos to pass through the filtering
system and the blood check and the DNA scans and every test that the body of
Danny Mancuso was subjected to, to prove he wasnt a changeling. After the Jem
Hadar caught Mancuso just before he came to the wormhole threshold they
incarcerated him and then informed the founders of the Starfleet officer they
had,
they then contacted the network of spies and moles throughout the federation
and Starfleet command and found out who this lonely and broken man was. they
decided that it would be beneficial to have a spy working in one of the
federations best ship's hence Arbmos was activated and was Taken to the
detention cell were Dan was held. Arbmos could remember now the process as he
evolved slowly from proximity and acquired all the physical and mental
characteristics of this man. Then the final step was the memory
transferred...after that Arbmos became The Man.

Addendum II to Personnel Jacket:

The Entity Named Arbmos died helping rescue the real Daniel Mancuso from
the Dominion Prison Asteroid. Lt. Commander Mancuso was rescued by the crew
of the USS Columbia. Were he was later transferred for active duty after his
recovery. His sense of Humor has been slowly returning to normal and his
scars are almost gone at this moment. Due to his extended stay in the prison
camp Starfleet
intelligence has kept An eye on Mr. Mancuso just in case he is another entity
in disguise....

up a squadron of Modified Hensley Heavy Transport Tugs to use as the base of

daughter of the leader of the Sloon. After many happenings he returned to the

Keldar is like most Ferengi, profit-oriented and always looking for a way to
get more and more latinum. When he is put to the test or under pressure, he
is a very brillant engineer, and works quite well with others. He has now
become a bit more jumpy since his kidnapping. And after his near death

PERSONAL HISTORY:
Descended from a long line of starfleet personnel, at a young age, William
Decker was inspired by stories about his most notable ancestors, Commodore
Matthew Decker (deceased) and Captain Willard Decker (deceased). Obsessed
with artificial intelligence and robotics, Decker attended the Daystrom
Institute, where he earned bachelor's and master's degrees in computer
science and robotics, with minors in exobiology, geology, astronomy and
astrophysics.
Decker specialized in science at Starfleet Academy and was posted to Outpost
Cousteau in Beta Quadrant as an ensign. He was promoted to lieutenant and
eventually to science department head of the Outpost.

COURT-MARTIAL: During officer training at Starfleet Academy, Decker was
court-martialed for possible involvement in computer sabotage on behalf of
his cousin, Thelonius T. Kirk, who was tried and expelled for cheating on the
Kobiashi Maru exam.
The investigation cleared Decker of all wrongdoing; the computer tampering
was found to have been done too incompetantly for someone of Decker's
training, and further evidence revealed that Decker was drunk and unconsious
at the time the crime was perpetrated ( there had been an all-night party at
the time).

PSYCHOLOGICAL PROFILE: Decker has proven to be a loyal and conscientious
starfleet officer. His attitude appears to be more civilian than military in
some ways, however. His marksmanship trainers at the academy have described
his accuracy with a phaser as "hopeless". During his years at the Academy, he
was known to have been what was called a "party animal"; he would
characteristically stagger into his Monday morning classes with a severe
hangover.
In his adolescence, Decker had been involved at times in petty criminal
activity led by his older cousin, Thelonius Kirk. His course in life
apparently changed after a tragic shuttlecraft accident during his first year
at the Academy cost the lives of his three closest friends; Decker suffered
minor scratches from the accident. From that time on, Decker's commitment to

Decker appears to have developed an obsession with artificial intelligence

Elana was raised on Marrina II, which is predominantly water. After
graduating from R'Mara Academy, she went on to work on independent projects
and research studies dealing with marine biology.

After dealing with a research project on Daled IV which was destroyed by a
rebel faction, and the research team's rescue by a Starfleet team, Elana
decided she ought to add some security/defense studies, so she applied to
SFA.

She continued her marine biology studies while pursuing a security/tactical
secondary degree.

Elana met and became involved with LtCdr. Christiaan Back on the USS
Potemkin. While on medical LOA for tulipola, she had a bi affair with her
childhood friend, Tiferet Joss, but she and Chris eventually worked through
the problem. Chris disappeared around SD9802.20, recruited into Special Ops,
and Elana did not hear from him again for many months.

A couple months after arriving on the Nigala, she met Ensign Sasha Jakea. It
turned out that Sasha was the new host of the Jakea symbiont -- which had
previously been in Lt. Tranor Jakea, whom Elana had been engaged to, but
Tranor had been killed at the Battle of the Borg at Sector 001. The two women
had a very strong attraction for one another, but Elana finally told Sasha
that she needed to move on with her life and not live her past host's life
over.

Elana completed Starfleet Ranger training SD9808, and received a posting
offer as Engineering Officer for the Starfleet Rangers base at Vantar IV, and
Chief of Engineering to Outpost Cousteau. She was somehow transferred back in
time to receive this assignment (space anomoly is suspected). It is not quite
certain how this occured; however, when OPC was transferred into the
"present" by a rogue Q circa SD9809, Elana discovered her time displacement.

When the Potemkin crew came to visit OPC to confirm the reappearance of the
"missing" Outpost, Elana found herself face-to-face with her past love, Lt.
Christiaan Back. After a rocky reunion they are once more involved and
enjoying a monogamous relationship.

Soyuz Class {Modified} Squadron Tactics:

The Premise of the refitted ships was to work in squadrons to maximize the
overall stregnth of the ships, shield and firepower, working in squadrons
make the older ships a lot more efficient and deadly. The concentrated
firepower of 20 mega phasers are more than a match for any present day
Cardassian, Dominion , Romulan or Klingon Main Battleship. The removal of
the old fixed turrets to present day movable turrets make these ships
extremly
acurate. being very manuverable and small helps in making them very difficult
targets to hit. Upgraded to Galaxy Class Computer cores and Tactical system
The new Soyuz Attack Frigate is a formidable weapons platform for sector
defence or even planetary defense, If used in squadron stregnth, if single
ship confrontations are expected, recomendations are given from Simulation
results to, inflict as much damage that can be sent to the enemy in the
first part of the engagement and then retreat and regroup or harrass the
enemy at the edge of its weapons envelope, to minimize the beam weapons
effect on Hull or shields.

Soyuz Class Historical Notes:

In the late 2260s the Federations outermost colony worlds began to suffer
significantly at the hands of raiding parties. Some of these were the usual
mix of mercenaries and criminals, but at least some of the most serious
attacks were strongly suspected to have been carried out by Klingon forces
eager to test themselves against Federation targets.
In response, Starfleet deployed extra starship assets to the colony worlds,
but this was never going to be a practical proposition; many of these worlds
had populations in the thousands, and it was simply not worth keeping even
one starship in a system to protect such a target. Starfleet wanted to
produce a new class of ship for colony defense, but the resources to set up a
new production line were simply not available. The Soyuz class was fielded
as a compromise solution. By basing the ship on the already successful
Miranda class Starfleet avoided much of the design and setup costs, while a
pool of personnel familiar with the design already existed.
The basic Miranda design was modified in order to make the Soyuz as easy to
build as possible. The colony defense role called for the ship to be based in
one system for long periods of time, rather than conducting extended patrols;
any combat would likely be at impulse speed and would take place within a
single system also. The typical raiding party would be equipped with
relatively light weapons and defenses, but the Soyuz would need to have a
considerable reserve of offensive firepower to deal with Klingon opponents.
Starfleet decided to delete the roll bar mounted photon torpedo pod from the
design and replace it with a pair of turrets mounting twin heavy Phaser's;
this would provide excellent firepower at close range while allowing the
complex systems and personnel associated with long range torpedoes to be
removed.
Other measures to reduce the cost of the Soyuz included reducing the
overload capacity of the engines so that Warp 8 could only be held for one
hour, rather than the twelve hours of the standard Miranda. The diplomatic
facilities reduced from Grade 4 to Grade 3, and the scientific facilities
were eliminated. On the other hand, at a late stage of the design it was
decided to add several long range sensor pods to the ships hull. This was
intended to
give the Soyuz a good degree of early warning capability against incoming
raiders, and to allow them to act as traffic control centers for the space
around a colony.
The Soyuz class was rushed into service in the early 2270s, and was a
considerable success. Within a year of the service debut of the first batch
of ten, the number of raids on Federation colony worlds had fallen to less
than one quarter its previous level and over a dozen raider ships had been
captured or destroyed.
With the raider threat greatly reduced, Starfleet began to look for other
uses for these ships. Some Soyuz's served as border patrol craft, servicing
remote outposts and policing spacelanes. The most notable action undertaken
by any Soyuz class vessel came in 2278, when the USS Bozeman was able to
prevent an attack on Starbase 12 by a Klingon battlecruiser; the Bozeman was
believed destroyed during the action, but in 2368 she emerged intact from a
temporal anomaly - narrowly avoiding a collision with the USS Enterprise-D.
Captain Bateson, who had become a hero for his actions in saving Starbase 12,
remained in Starfleet. He was assigned command of a Refitted USS Bozeman,
which later participated in the action against the Borg invasion of 2373.
The Soyuz class remained in service until as late as 2345; they received
Type X Phaser's in place of their Type VII's to keep them effective combat
units. However, refits to the other ships systems tended to be somewhat
slapdash affairs, and by the late 2320s their computer and sensor suite had
fallen badly behind the state of the art. Starfleet decided to mothball the
whole class as they reached the end of their hull lives rather than engage in
a
refit project.

SOYUZ CLASS PRESENT DAY HISTORICAL NOTES:
After the return of the USS Bozeman and since the hull had maintained its
integrity in excellent fashion, Starfleet decided to give a go ahead and
refit the mothballed Ships, unfortunately of the 60 plus ships left only 25
were in any condition to be refitted. Since the war with the Dominion had
taken such a heavy toll on ships and men Starfleet decided to give the aging
Soyuz a very detailed overhaul and upgrade them to Defiant specs including
photon and Quantum launchers and new metaphasic shielding. In the software
systems Galaxy Class main computer cores and science labs were added plus
total systems automation packages were added to lower the operating crew from
130 to 50.

SQUADRON ROSTER

Minimum Crew requirements of the Modified Soyuz Class Ships is 50. Before
leaving Utopia Planitia Captain Surak asked for M.R. Crews to be assigned to
the different ships... No Captain ranks were issued to the new crew but all
department heads are Lieutenant Commanders and all Commanding Officers are
Commanders. in the event that Captain Surak should board one of the ships he
would be CO of the whole squadron. The U.P.
personel officer scrambled to get crews for the ships.. picking the best he
could from ships, Base personel and Earth defense forces. in the end all 5
ships were manned and some extra support personel were sent to OPC on a
Transport ship/ starship tender, also assigned to Outpost Cousteau.

7th Space Cavalry Squadron
The Great Whites

The Present day Squadron assigned the unit number of 7th Cavalry is the
latest in a historically rich line of Military Units bearing the distinctive
name. Since the mid 19th century the Former United States formed a special
Cavalry Regiment that was distinctive by its valor and quick response.
Starting with what is historically known as the "Indian Wars" from 1870 to
1879 the
7th Cav earned a name in bravery and fighting spirit, its most noteworthy
battle and most crushing defeat cam at the hands of Sitting Bull and Crazy
horse at the battle of Little Big Horn were General Custer Was decimated by
an overwhelmingly superior Indian force. From that moment onward the 7th
cavalry command staff learned the bitter rules of war and applied them with
grim determination. never in the history of the regiment did it ever have a
defeat written to its record. Following are the campaigns to which the 7th
Cavalry participated with distinction and glory.

Early on in its history the 7th was incorporated to the 1st cavalry division
and was kept that way for much of its life as a military regiment. In the
late 20th century each regiment was separated from is parent division and set
on its own. After the Eugenics Wars the 7th Cav saw action in most of the
theaters being the first units to be incorporated
in the United earth forces with its own space battle ships... During WWIII
were most of the world powers were decimated by the huge loss of human lives
the 7th was disbanded due to lack of civilian government commanding the
United States. After the Earth reunited itself and the UFP was incorporated
in 2161 the military branch called Starfleet restated the old Cavalry
regiments into Space Cav Units. The 7th was one of the first units to be
reorganized and placed in active duty with new spaceships and personnel.
Soon after the first conflicts engaged by the fledging UFP was one with the
Romulan Star Empire. For 4 years the ships of the then &th SpaceCav Division
fought gallantly and triumphantly in many engagements. In 2219 their
services were again needed when the Klingon Wars broke out ... again
gallantry and bravery were termes associated with the men and ships of the
7th. Years later when hostilities erupted with the Cardassian Empire Ships
of
Starfleet command were dispatched and carried both the banners of the 7th as
well as Troopers of the 7th Ranger Corps. In the battle of Wolf 359 fighter,
squadrons from the 7th as well as over 40 ships of the line were engaged and
destroyed or heavily damaged... During the presently on going war with the
Dominion the 7th were part of the 15 Fleet station on starbase 305. being
one of the oldest units still active Starfleet command deactivated the
unit for regrouping it is then that Captain Danter A. Surak or Outpost
Cousteau petitions the use of ships for sector and system patrolling duties.
with most of the other units and fleets engaged with the Dominion in
different fronts Starfleet reactivates personnel from the 7th cav and
assign's them to the Modified Soyuz Class heavy attack frigate squadron
giving them the designation of the 7th Space Cavalry Squadron assigned to
Outpost Cousteau on
the beta Quadrant.

metaphysical world. His mother, is know to be a very reserved and logical
woman. The combined effect seems to cancel the opposites out.

Personality:
Dante's personality is a combination of his two heritages. He is well
versed in the ways of logic, yet delites in viseral displays of emotion. He
seems to be both logic and emotin at the same time. This some times causes
him to appear slow reacting and somewhat confused. The reality is that he has
to reconcile most decission agains both logic an dhis emotions.
Dante is slow to make friends, prefering a period of aquaintance
before, forming friendships.
Dante like most persons of Vulcan heritage appears to be somewhat
secretive about "personal" matters.
The duality of his mixed heritage occasionally causes momentary lapse
while his Vulcan logic and Betazoid emotion try to reconcile themselves.

Starfleet Personal history: At the age of seven, he was given a crate of
engineering manuals, science books, and padds regarding starship operations
of many different classes. Joseph is the type of person who likes to try new
stuff so he decided to read all of them. By the age of fifteen, he decided to

Background:
Zantus was born on the planet Xenar three Terran years after the end of the
Xenar-Orion War. The Orions, under the leadership of Slavelord Jaex Tux'mal,
controlled the entire planet, enslaving the Xenar race. Zantus wanted to
leave the planet ever since he saw the stars in the sky, but only Xenar
Supply Runner crews were allowed off-planet.
He unsuccessfully tried to join the crew of the XSR Ayair, which later went
Rogue, but failed. When rumors of the Ayair's liberation and asylum on
Starbase 51 reached Xenar, Zantus became more determined than ever to go
off-planet.
Finally, Sentus (Representative) Helen C'Antwel and workers Belthasar
A'Takerl and Magus A'Sumart made it to asylum, and the Orions sent numreous
envoys to reacquire them. Zantus arranged to join one such group. After
reaching SB51, Zantus' group went Rogue. He later borrowed Sentus C'Antwel's
ship, the XSR Manan, and went to seek new experiences. He made a whirlwind
tour of the Alpha Quadrant.
Then, on stardate 59807.04, Sentus C'Antwel set up the Xenar Coalition on
Zeta Leo IV, arranging with the Federation to set the Coalition up as a
government-in-exile. C'Antwel was unamimously declared to be the new sybilus
(chief of state), and a colony was established on Zeta Leo IV. Zantus
ventured there for the ceremony and pledged his loyalty to the new
government. Despite urgings from Gordinus
(domestic advisor) A'Takerl, Zantus hitched a ride off Zeta Leo IV (leaving
the Manan on-planet) to make another tour, this time of the Beta Quadrant.
During his tour, he needed more money fairly quickly, and entered into a bad
deal with some Ferengi, losing much of his remaining money. Zantus used his
remaining money to hitch a ride to Outpost Cousteau, hoping to find work or a
ship to Zeta Leo IV.
There, Zantus found employment at the Any Port Tavern, a rather run-down
place owned by Mr. Bylt, a drunken Bolian who needed a vacation. Zantus took
over the operation of the establishment, even eventually buying the place
from Mr. Bylt. He spent much of his initial capital cleaning the Tavern and
making it operational. He ran into some initial hostility from a rival
establishment that prefers to remain anonymous, but this
eventually wore off.
Zantus' kind manner even turned around the lives of three thugs for hire,
Tseng, Reno, and Rude, who became good customers and even contributors. The
three eventually formed a band, the Three Radical Enterprising Young Gents
(or the TREY Gents), and became the house entertainment.
On stardate 59901.09, Zantus was attacked by an agent of the Clonus Project,
a clandestine cloning operation run by Jaex Tux'mal, and nearly killed.
Zantus recovered, despite numerous complications during the healing process.
Zantus also gets good business from Starfleet Special Security; more
specifically, from the crew of the USS Francis Marion, captained by his
bartending mentor Jay Winger. Winger and his crew helped in the
investigation following his attack, and eventually stopped by whenever their
investigations of organized crime in the Beta Quadrant brought them by Vantar
IV.
On stardate 59902.25, Zantus received word that a major economic treaty
between the Xenar Coalition and the planets of Blerontin and Yassacca had
gone through, meaning great things for the Xenar and Zeta Leo IV. The treaty
was to be signed into law at Vantar IV, a fourth-party world as requested by
the delegates, and the reception was held at the Any Port Tavern. The
conference ran into three snags: an attack on the Xenar delegation
by the Clonus agent called Mojo (coincidentally the same agent who attacked
Zantus), an attack on the reception by the villainous Manor Complex, and a
bomb planted by a Blerontinian traitor. All three snafus were corrected by
the quick actions of the Special Security forces attending the conference.
Nonetheless, significant collateral damage was dealt to the Tavern; the Gat
of Blerontis, however, gave Zantus a substantial
amount of money (eighteen pnedes) to rebuild.
Currently, Zantus lives in a loft above the Tavern and is renovating the
Tavern.

PERSONAL HISTORY
Anne was described as "quiet" and "artistic" in high school. She was an
above-average student, involved in art, drama and sports. Not having any
other particular career in mind, her favorite uncle, Jonathan, a Commander in
Starfleet, recommended she look into Starfleet.
Although she began recreational drug abuse as early as her senior year in
high school, it did not become obvious to anybody until she was on her first
Starfleet assignment.*

STARFLEET
She did well in her classes and graduated within the top 15% of her class
with a dual degree in Security and Tactical on SD 05.10.2375. She was posted
to the USS Kilamanjaro as Assistant Security.
After attempting to walk out an airlock on SD 01.27.2375, she was found to be
under the influence of mind-altering substances. She was ordered into rehab
for drug abuse, and, after successfully completing the program, was
transferred to Outpost Cousteau, where it is hoped she won't attempt (or be
able to) walk out any more airlocks.

* PLEASE NOTE : I do not personally endorse drug abuse either in or out of
character, but for this character I will be dealing with some very serious
issues for Anne, in a "Trainspotting" manner. <No babies on the ceiling,
though, I swear. ;-)>

Jordan grew up in a pleasant home with a rich cultural background. The
different cultures that his family was comprised of taught Jordan at a very

around weapons, the reason that Jordan and his brother probably decided to
go into security. Both Jordan and his brother, Joel,
have a unique fascination with weapons and spend most of their free time

Personal Data:

Alejandra was born to a middle class family in sothern Seville. Her mother
was of Spanish Gypsy descent. Her father was Spanish with a strong Moor
ancestry. The Moor ancsetry accounted for Alex's dark complexion, full mouth
and wavy hair. She inhereted the lithe body of her gypsy heritage and thier
fire and love of adventure. Many days and nights Alex would accompany her
mother to the gypsy camps out side of Seville. The gypsies had continued
to live by thier own rules even after centuries of living in Spain. The
nights were the most fun for Alex for she loved the dancing that dominated
the campfires and the sound of the music as it echoed through the hills. It
was there that she aquired her expertise in playing the Spanish guitar. But
the one thing that Alex loved most was the dance of the Spanish gypsies, the
famous and romantic dance called the Flamenco. She took to the dance as if
she was born to dance Flamenco and only Flamenco. It gained her favor among
her gypsy peers, for when she danced, she became one with the music.

Deceased:
This is the Final Report on Lieutenant Alejandra Montoya who came to OPC
assigned as an engineer. She was surprised to see the XO of OPC was Daniel
Mancuso. They had been lovers before 5 years ago. They resumed thier
relationship but Mancuso did not know she was a spy and the Dentarri were
controlling her by holding the medication that her son needed to live. She
killed Mancusos assistant then got into the files and
Mancuso caught her. He mind melded with her to find out the info on the
dentarri and could not disengage from the mind meld, due to a chip implanted
there by the Dentarri. The chip was designed to detonate if she was ever
apprehended and questioned. The mind meld in conjunction with the chip was
the cause of death. While inside her mind Mancuso found out the child was
his.....the boy's name is Luis. Mancuso was put on trial for her murder.
Mancuso
was vindicated of most of the charges, except for violating her civil rights.
Mancuso and his son Luis along with the Convoy OPC-7311BQ shot Alejandra's
casket out into space 100,000 kilometers towards a deep blue gas giant...in
the star charts it only had reference number 506124; its path could be traced
directly toward the heart of the Blur raging inferno of the Star ... it was
finally engulfed and disappeared in a flash of glory...Mancuso entered
the data into the records stating that From now on this Cluster would be
called the Montoya Cluster ... and that Blue Gas Giant would forever be
called Alejandra.

Updated Record of officer found lost in space who will now be known as
Lieutenant Alejandra Montoya:

Alejandra was assigned as an engineer to the USS Crazy Horse and sent on a
mission to assist civilians and Starfleet personnel to evacuate from the
planet Antica, in the Beta Renna star system, located in the far reaches of
the alpha quadrant. An away team was assembled and beamed down to the planet
and successfully assisted in transporting all of the population and supplies
from the planet. Everyone transported to the USS Crazy
Horse and Alex was one of the last to leave Antica. There were problems with
a malfunction in the transportor caused by an energy distortion field that
phased in and out, around the planet and the transport chief trying to
compensate and as Alex was in the annular confinement beam, the distortion
field rephased and interferred with the confinement field, reflecting the
matter stream, thus beaming one Alejandra Montoya back to Antica. In other
words
the transport accident created a duplicate Alex. One Alejandra Montoya was
left on the planet and the other beamed up to the USS Crazy Horse. No one
knew or suspected that there had been a duplicate Montoya made. The ship left
the system and Alex was left alone. So everything that has occurred after
the transport six years ago and on OPC was not known to this Alejandra
Montoya. This Alejandra Montoya has never met Mancuso nor had a child,
although genetically Luis Montoya Mancuso is her son.
