Physical Description:
Is of asian-oriental descendance. Has a slender, wiry form obviously built
for speed. Due to childhood experiences and recent training, is remarkably
agile, swift, balanced, and flexible. Strength is formidible when coupled
with skills, but is next to useless in a simple test of brute force. Hair so
dark it almost appears blue, it is most often set either parted to either
side. Occasionally, when it becomes too much of a distraction, it is tied
back
to prevent locks from interfering with his vision.

Personality:
Holds emotions (if any) underneath an indifferent personality. Can be
logical at times, though form of logic is questionable. Usually defers to
authority, except when authority becomes corrupted. In these cases will often
take matters into his own hands, which usually leads to trouble. Is known to
keep most things that set him off beneath a mask of indifference but may
sometimes explode if stress becomes to great. Otherwise is very reliable and
trustworthy.

Background:
Born on a failed Earth colony and grew up in the resulting ruins. Managed to
survive for nearly two decades despite roving gangs and various crime-lords
and picked up several skills in thievery. Later rescued by a civilian
transport funded by an earth-based Humanitarian group. Records state repeated
wanderings on the planet before attending special classes at Starfleet
Academy. During that time apparantly trained in the martial arts. Graduated
Starfleet academy and left earth for several weeks at a time before being
posted to the ISS Reciprocity.

Declassified: Shane was pressed into service with a covert Federation
Intelligence group. This group, calling themselves Section 31, was
responsible for the officer initial Starfleet training, among other things.
However, Section 31 became corrupt and issued illegal orders. With the help
of a fellow Reciprocitian, Shane was able to break away from the group's
control, with all of their benefits still in his grasp. Thus, with somewhat
unique
abilities in his possession, Shane is uniquely qualified for numerous
positions in Starfleet, but his training was apparantly centered on
intelligence and piloting.

Chi (pronounced: chee or kee) is the thought to be the fundamental life
source within most beings in the galaxy. Chi--also known as "ki"--sustains
the body and helps in recover of illness and injury. If your chi is weak, you
will be feeble. Conversely, if your chi is strong, then you have the
capability to have a strong soul. Chi can be drained in certain activites,
such as fighting or other exerting activities. With the proper training, your
chi
regeneration can be accelerated. Beings who've mastered their chi can use it
as extensions of themselves known as an aura. True Klingon warriors are
theorized to have a powerful battle-aura, and use it to enhance their
strength, speed, and tolerance of pain. Other "false" warriors can merely go
into a rage and increase pain tolerance through the use of heavy amounts of
alcohol. Very strong manifestations of chi can be channeled by a master and
launched as a ball or beam of energy, a chi-blast. Learning how to perform a
chi-blast usually takes a lifetime of study, although a few species are known
to be able to perform it intuitively. Individuals with high levels of chi but
little training towards chi-based attacks can still perform several of the
manifestations, but they usually require intense amounts of concentration or
channeling a strong emotion to supplement your relatively weak chi
output. Such emotion could include depression, as in a Shi Shi Houkoudan, or
confidence/pride, Mouko Takabisha. Other emotions include anger, fear, and
emotionless-ness (the "cold" used to counter the "hot" of the other strong
emotions, Hiryuu Shoten Ha).
Shane Reikson falls under the catagory of having superb martial arts
training, but little in the way of chi-based attacks. Learned slight
manifestations recently and emitted a small chi-blast using anger as his
catalyst. Since it takes him a while to get _that_ angry, is currently trying
to find another method.

Koroth stands about average height for a Klingon and has a muscular
frame; Which is somewhat hidden by his slight "potbelly" he has (From too
much Bloodwine and Donuts). His left hand and arm sport numerous scars on it
from combat with the Jem' Hadar. He tends to grin a lot to show his very
sharp and very straight teeth! (He has gotten some grief from Klingon
officers of
higher station about this, but none press the point too much as Koroth can be
vicious when angered)

Personality: Koroth is pretty jovial for a Klingon. He also possesses a
great tolerance for others, both are things he seemed to "learn" not only
being a scientist; but his time spent with Star Fleet. Both are traits he
has been reticule for in the Klingon Empire. While tolerant, he does not
stand for incompetence and those who cannot or will not back up their
boasts.

Background: Koroth was the last born into the house Galogh, a minor
household on the Klingon Homeworld. His father was an unremarkable K'tinga
Cruiser Captain that neither made any great victories nor any defeats. His
family did hold a few favors with several houses on the council (reportedly
he had "turned a blind eye" to a few things he discovered about certain
households for these favors), so Galogh's children were afforded
preferential treatment in their training and election to the Klingon officer
corp. Koroth, since being the last of Galogh's natural male children, was
directed towards less of the combat oriented fields and more to the creative
and developmental fields by his mother. His father cared little for being
involved in his upbringing cause he had three other sons that were already
showing
military promise, so he allowed this to happen.
Koroth took to the sciences and his mother provided plenty of at home
training in this and other proper Klingon ways, like hand to hand combat.
His older siblings did not like this too much and made sure he knew that a
"true Klingon" did not study biology, only where to stab each alien for the
best effect. Luckily for Koroth, he was considerably younger then his
siblings
and many of them were off to the Klingon Imperial Academy, before he delved
deeply into his studies. He became of age when he went and killed a
Tarkassian Razorbeast after turning 12, Soon after that he was admitted into
the Klingon Imperial Science Academy to start his long road of scientific
studies at age 17.
Klingon Academy & First Postings:
Koroth proved competent enough in hand to hand combat and tactics to keep
some of the older students from focusing their teasing on him. At the
Academy, he did well in the physics fields; but he made sure he got a well
rounded dose of everything. He graduated on time with his class and was known
for being knowledgeable in spatial, stellar, and particle physics. After
finishing his formal training, he took an assistants position at the Academy
for the physics department for another year to get more training in various
fields. He then spent another year teaching some freshmen level science
courses and served at the rank of lagh (SF Petty Officer) and junior
instructor to the Science and Engineering cadets on their training D-7
Cruiser.
After this, he took a posting on a K'Vort Bird of Prey battlecruiser as its
Science officer. Here he was not well received for being a science officer
and the ship command staff was of officers from more prestigious houses so
they taunted him to a degree. While he got into several fights to defend
himself amongst the crew, he was labeled a little "soft" for a Klingon; but a
very competent Science officer for the 2 years he served on it. Several
times his scientific knowledge saved the ship from spatial anomalies and he
was noted for his sharp intellectual mind around the navy. This, along with
his father calling in a favor or two, got his name listed on possible
officers for a second wave of officer exchanges with Star Fleet.
Star Fleet Service & Back into the Klingon Culture:
After being selected as one of the Science officers for the exchange
program, he was sent with the rest of the officers to Star Fleet Academy for
some specific training classes in Star Fleet protocol and procedures. They
also supplemented their specific Klingon training by taking additional
courses in their specific fields. After 6 quarters of this and several
Klingon
officers dropping out of the exchange program, Koroth was one of the few
Klingons to finish it. He was then posted to the Valdemar, an Ambassador
class Starship as an Assistant Science Officer, holding a Lieutenant Junior
Grade rank.
On the Valdemar, he served well, despite having to tolerate the Star Fleet
bigotry towards the Klingon empire. It his here he became almost addicted to
a human food called "Donuts"; which he found a way to put live gagh into a
typical jelly donut. (It is rumored that Martok and much of the High Council
have requested his presence from time to time to prepare them his special
gagh donuts) He was awarded for outstanding performance in his
department in solving a subspace disturbance that threatened to destroy the
ship. After a ten month tour, he was sent back to the Klingon empire and
given several commendations for "sticking it out with humans". Back in the
Klingon Empire, he was assigned as Chief Science officer on a D-7
Battlecruiser, the D'Morogth. He maintained this post for 2 years until the
start of the Dominion conflict. Here he served with ability during the
conflict with the Cardassians and the Dominion. He injured his hand in
combat with Jem'Hadar soldiers and has many scars, which he proudly points
out from time to time. Towards the height of the Dominion conflict, he was
promoted to Sogh and transferred to a K'tinga cruiser named the T'Wargh for
the final push on the Dominion in the Alpha quadrant.
During the final battle he lost his brother Danar and his Father was
seriously injured. When the idea for this joint Alliance staffed ship came
to Martok and the Klingon Council, Koroth was on the short list for the
Science posting. Having had the most experience with non-Klingon vessels, he
was given the Honor to represent his people and his house by being assigned
to the ISS Reciprocity. Emperor Martok had some ties with Koroth's father,
having served with him in his younger days while both were still relatively
unknown Klingons. Galogh's kindness with Martok way back then would help
elevate his families position greatly in the near future.
Koroth served with distinction on the Reciprocity despite the overwhelming
Romulan arrogance of the first crew. After complaints by Starfleet and the
Klingon Empire, the Romulan government pulled its more 'disgruntled' officers
from the ship. He was awarded several medals for his duty to the ship and
crew and served a stint as Second Officer. On 0005.04 he was promoted to
Gawi' SogH (First Lieutenant) for his continued service to the ship. Soon
after that, his father came calling.
The House Galogh made major movement upwards in the ranking of the Klingon
houses by their long time support of House Martok. When Martok took over as
Emperor, House Galogh was elevated to the level of High Council consideration
in the future. Koroth's house, due to it's knowledge of Engineering and
Science matters, was placed in charge of a special project that lead to even
more honor for the house. Koroth was pulled from the Reci and put as one of
the Chief directors of this special project. Not much is known or
declassified of this project but rumors say it has to do with a new and
improved midsize Bird of Prey with increased firepower and a
metaphasic/cloaking system that works in situations normal cloaks cannot or
are easily
detected. Koroth was given the command of a B'rel Bird of Prey during his
work on the project.
Expecting to become a first officer or even Captain of one of the new BoPs,
Koroth was shocked when he was told his new assignment by his aging father.
Martok had removed many of Gawron's Ambassadors when he took over and placed
Klingons favorable to him in those places. With the dramatic increased need
for Ambassadors due to the opening of diplomatic dialog with the Romulans,
Cardassians, and even the Dominion Empires; Klingons with extensive contact
with these races were severely limited. Calling in a favor or two with his
allies in the High Council and Martok; Galogh got Koroth assigned to be the
Klingon Ambassador to the Reciprocity mission. His previous experience with
the crew and his houses valued work for Martok was enough for get him
this honorable assignment over more well known houses.

Personality:
Adam is a "constructed being" designed by Prof. Geo T'g of the Tralerian
Colony Cybernetics Research Facility, built and programmed by a team of
scientists to contain a vast amount of information.
He was designed with a positronic brain that facilitates "total recall"
but restricted by a "Forgetfulness Algorithm" that occassionally blocks some
memories until "jarred" by additional stimuli. He also has "emotion-emulating
routines" which simulate emotions by generating "emotion-like responses" to
certain stimuli.
Adam was "upgraded" by Starfleet Command when only a First Lieutenant,
being "field promoted" to Commander to accomodate a more mature outlook, and
to have a better capacity to serve as First Officer of a vessel such as the
Reciprocity. Due to time constraints, this "upgrade" could not be fully
tested. He has since acquired his Captaincy and been awarded command of that
vessel.

Background:
First let it be noted that Adam was developed at the Tralerian Colony, an
independent, self-contained, asteroid-based colony of Humans from Earth
seeking to escape the "hustle-bustle" of everyday life in the United
Federation of Planets. The colony has existed for almost two hundred years
and has remained isolated and independent for the most part for that entire
time. Adam's development was parallel to the research of the Human scientist,
Dr.
Noonian Soong, whose work was completely unknown to the Tralerian colonists
or Prof. T’g.
When Adam petitioned the Colony leaders for citizenship, the issue of
creating artificial life-forms developed moral overtures that the politicians
would prefer not to delve into. So the entire process has been classified Top
Security and locked down, and when Adam requested permission to leave the
colony, the politicians hasted the opportunity to "be rid of" the artificial
life-form.

... Adam’s positronic matrix recalls everything he's ever been exposed to,
(but see above concerning his “forgetfulness algorithm”). He can extrapolate
from things he has learned and anticipate events or reactions just as would
normal biological persons.
... Adam has the physical appearance of a Human male from the Tralerian
Colony, complete with bodily hair and the ability to grow facial hair (this
attribute can be turned on and off at will - he currently wears a moustache).
His skin coloration is slightly paler than a biological Human, and is
smoother to the touch, having much smaller pores.
... Adam's mechanical body is much stronger than a biological body and has a
much wider range of tolerances to otherwise destructive forces and energies.
He has "pain receptors" which will signal when his body is being damaged,
just as biological organisms do. However, since his tolerances are so much
higher than a biological organism's, he seems impervious to pain.
... Although not designed to procreate sexually, Adam has been modeled after
a Human male, complete with functioning sexual organs. This permits him to

Physical Description:
Cannon Hawke has flowing black hair, neither long nor short, and is usually
combed back. He has a swimmer's body: large shoulders and strong upper body.
His eyes are deep blue, the color of the ocean. His strength and stamina is
superior to that of humans, but to what extent is unknown. Despite being
Fathom, his apprearance is exactly human.

Personality:
Hawke has usually a cold manner, he hides his emotions, but is not devoid of
them. He is the very serious type, putting his duty first and foremost. He
would unhesitantly put his own life on the line if the event occurs. Hawke
has been described as a bad-ass James Bond-like character who's very
dangerous if crossed.

Background:
On stardate 9905.05, Cannon Hawke was sent to the ISS Reciprocity as the
special liaison. Because his race and government is officially neutral in
all affairs of the Alpha Quadrant, Hawke was sent to ensure all interests of
the Klingon Empire, Federation, and Romulan Star Empire are respected. In
other words, to make sure that no one government is benefited more than
another in an unfair way.
Cannon was chosen for the position of liaison because of his extensive
experience in the Fathom Special Ops and time in the Fathom Imperial High
Council. At stardate 9986, he was enrolled as an exchange student from
Fathom, attending advanced classes at Starfleet Acedemy and Tactical School,
as well as enriching himself in Federation culture. On the ISS Reciprocity,
he is the Cheif Intelligence Officer and the Second Officer.
Very little background info is known on Cannon before his arrival on the
Reciprocity, and what little is known is kept under wraps by SFI. It is not
even positive that "Cannon Hawke" is his actual name.

JPS rating is unknown, but it is generally believed that the Fathom do not
inhabit any psychic or telekinesis powers.

Additional Notes on the Fathom:
Even when first contact was made in 2115, Fathom has been a very secretive
race. 'Fathom' is the name they've dubbed themselves with, although it is
most likely not their native referance. Information about the planet or the
race is limited by government laws and taboos. The planet's surface is
mostly water, and events have revealed that the species can manipulate H2O
and breath underwater without use of gills or otherwise. Any outside
examination or autopsy is prohibited. Their appearance is exactly of human
form.
A treaty in 2184 made Fathom a neutral government, and is protected
militarily by the Federation, Klingons, and Romulans. Nevertheless, Fathom
maintains a small, highly trained special ops force.

his brother was killed on a Starfleet Away Mission. This upset him very much
and only with the help of his best friend, Bruce Handlon, was he able to
overcome his grief. He spent his Senior Cadet Cruise at Deep Space 2,
finally graduating with high honors and a better knowledge of diplomacy.
  After the year of working on Deep Space 2, he grew very bored and wished to
see the galaxy like most young people. So he signed onto the USS Merlin as an
Assistant Operations officer and was happy to be in this new environment.
  During his assignment on the USS Merlin, his sisters, who had been older
than him and were in Starfleet as well, disappeared on an away mission on the
planet Milatia IX. He took a personal leave and went to Milatia IX himself as
a last desperate search for his missing siblings.
  He was captured by a Dominion cruiser and was put into a refugee camp until
the camp was liberated 4 months later. He had been tortured and nearly driven
insane but after a long and difficult procedure, Starfleet physicians were
able to change him back to the man he once was.
  With no results of his two sister's disappearance, he returned to the USS
Merlin where he stayed two more months as an operations officer before
transferring back to Earth for further help in coping with his loss of his
sisters. After some convincing by his friends, he returned to ship duty
aboard the USS Dallas-B as Assistant Engineering Officer a few months later.
  His parents, while going to a vacation on Risa, were captured and
assimilated by the Borg. Having trouble coping with the loss, he checked
himself into a facility where he could get help coping with the loss of both
his sisters and his parents. Two years later, with a clean bill of health, he
joined onto the USS Dark Angel as Senior Assistant Operations Officer. After
the Dark Angel was decomissioned he was transferred onto the ISS
Reciprocity to serve in the Engineering Department.
  His terrible tragedies with his family and his own imprisonment by the
Dominion have impeded his progress through the ranks, interrupting time
served and distracting him somewhat from his duties.  While he has spent many
years in Starfleet, and served with distinction in several posts, it was not
until after joining the crew of the Reciprocity (and meeting his future wife
- see below) that he was settled enough to begin to go up in rank.  It
was only then he was promoted to Lieutenant Junior Grade.
 On the Reciprocity, he met a striking young Lieutenant Junior Grade by the
name of Voya Banclain-Teris, a doctor on board the ship. They started dating,
and were married shortly afterward. Voya surprised Ian one day by informing
him that she was two months pregnant. Ian could not be more overjoyed, and is
awaiting the arrival of the twins.

ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICES
AND SHIP'S OPERATIONS

    Overseen by the Director of Operations & Administration , Lt. Ian Raoul
Hooley, and his Assistant , Lt. Sprint Pasek, the Administrative Offices of
the Operations Department are configured in a friendly, welcoming fashion.
Modeled after the inviting Federation Galaxy-class explorers, warm colors and
plants are utilized to promote a more peaceful working environment.  The
Administrative Offices are the connecting link between the
civilian populace - merchants, workers, students, etc., numbering in the
hundreds - and the Starfleet officers who command the ship and maintain its
function and safety.

Location - Deck Four Forward, Starboard Unit 1
   The Administrative Offices are located on Deck Four, the Plaza Royale,
just starboard of the Main Lounge, Four Forward.  While configured in two
levels with a central vestibule, the second level is still technically on
Deck Four, since Deck Four is a high-ceilinged Deck to allow for the open
feel of the Plaza Royale.
   The Administrative Offices are configured in a circular fashion, with an
open vestibule spanning both levels. The vestibule allows a full 360-degree
view of the entire Administrative Office.  The general layout is that of an
open center with railed walkways and office space radiating out from the
central hub.

Lower Level
   A large transparasteel store-front seperates the Administrative Offices
from the hustle-bustle of the Plaza Royale.  It was designed to offer the
appearance of openness while still providing quiet efficiency inside.  The
glass-like substance has been frosted and etched with the Reciprocity Logo
just over head height (for standard humanoids).  In Federation Standard,
Rihannsu Imperial (Romulan), and Thlingahn Hol (Klingon) text is written,
"ISS Reciprocity Administrative Offices" and in slightly smaller text in
Federation Standard the words,  "Operations Department Headquarters".

  Inside the doorway, the open vestibule creates an atmosphere of openness.
 The decor is tan, much like that of the Federation's Galaxy-class ships.
Various plants are located around the vestibule to promote the homey feel.

  In the middle of the large vestibule is located The Main Desk. The Main
Desk is a slightly raised platform, set up with monitors of all ship's
systems. From this location, an Operations liason officer is always on duty
to field questions, route communications, and aid anyone who wanders by.
  Above the Main Desk hovers the Master Situational Display. This is an
extension of the Holographic Heads-Up Display used at the Bridge Stations.
Several sets of data are displayed here for the convenience of civilians and
officers alike, in the manner of  an ancient 20th century airport or train
depot. Departures, arrivals, support services readouts, merchant trading,
rosters, rotations, chronometers, duty shifts, etc, are displayed here
continuously, automatically updating in real-time.

  Directly across from the main entrance, behind the Main Desk, lies the
Office of the Chief of Operations. A small lobby opens off the vestibule,
with the Chief's Office up a couple of steps to the right.  The lobby is also
designed to be open, friendly and comfortable, with subdued lighting,
strategically placed plants, and a large, oval viewport looking out at the
stars ahead of the Reciprocity.  This lobby is
often used for small meetings without an intimidating setting of a separating
desk.
  The Chief's Office has a semicircular desk with numerous displays of ship's
systems and read-outs. A detail communications interface sits on the right of
the desk.  While not so intricate as the Bridge Station, this location
provides access to many of the ship's most critical functions, as well as
access to many of the more mundane functions, such as supplies, hydroponics
needs, caretaking schedules, etc.
  Two comfortable chairs sit across from the desk, allowing for impromptu
meetings and briefings among other things.  The chairs also have
mini-displays set in the arm rests.  Installed in the wall is a replicator,
linked for the best beverages and small meals. A small table stands between
the two chairs, which can be used to place beverage containers or PADDs.  To
the right of the desk, a small view screen is set into the wall, capable of
receiving
priority communications, but a newer technology is almost always used: a
holographic projector can provide a much more effective way to interact more
directly with anyone on the link, promoting a friendlier meeting.
  The Assistant Chief's Office is to the left of the Chief's and has the same
basic layout, only without the lobby area.

  To the right as you stand in the vestibule, adjacent to the Chief's
Office is the Admininstration Offices Conference Room. This facility is most
often leased out to civilian merchants and the like for Board Meetings or
Purchase Negotiations and the like.  The conference room is equipped with
state-of-the-art bio-neural interfaces and LCARS. The room is arranged with
numerous view screens and computers. Much like the conference rooms of major
starships, an artistic display of the ISS Reciprocity is set in one of the
walls. The room is dominated by a large table that sprawls out down the
length of the room, with high-backed chairs lining both sides.  Small desk
top terminals are provided for officer usage along the table.

  To the left of the Assistant Chief's Office, at right angles to the Main
Desk, is the Civil Services / Complaints Office.  This office is run by the
Operations Department to field questions, complaints, comments, and problems
that may arise from officers or civilians.  Some cases have to be forwarded
to the Security Department, but all civilian complaints must start here.
These problems could be but are not limited to better business
practices, complaints of services, complaints against Starfleet Personnel,
etc. This office can directly affect change or make referrals to Engineering
or Security as deemed necessary.

  Opposite the Complaints Desk, across the vestibule, is the Education
Office.  This is the Administration Office of all of the various Schools and
Training for everything from Elementary School to Advance Tactical Training
of Starfleet Personnel.  Teachers can come here to acquire teaching aids,
discuss teaching methods, report problems or reward sucesses.  Holodeck
programs can be purchased or leased here for a wide variety of training
sessions.

Upper Level
  The upper level of the Administrative Offices is a bit less decorative and
more functional.  It contains primarily the Accounting Offices with their
numerous cubicles occupied by the Reciprocity's civilian accountants, in
charge of handling the commerce of the Plaza Royale and its business
practices.
  Also in the Accounting Offices is the Payroll Office for all of the
Starfleet Personnel, and the Central Banking Computer recording each person's
Credits and Transactions in real-time.
  The Upper Level of the Administrative Offices also houses other
Miscellaneous Offices handling various aspects of the day-to-day operation of
a starship the size of the Reciprocity on a deep-space mission.

Physical Description:

thin band of leather to which tiny brass bells or jewels are attached.
The braids
can be quickly tied around the rest of the hair to secure it should that
need arise.
Usually has a fine gold Torc around her neck and wears an engraved gold
arm
band on her upper left arm. The Ogham designs on it tell her lineage and
note
her military accomplishments. Like all females of her race, she gives the

impression of being rather slight of form but is actually far stronger
than appears.

Personality:
KDaana, like all of the Tuatha de Danaan, has a highly developed sense of
humor
and a penchant for mischief making that often resulted in brig time, which
she
accepted with serenity. Usually keeps a "Brig Kit" ready for these
occasions
although keeping her confined is a waste of time as she can open the
passage to
her realm at will and simply leave via that way. She does her brig time
to satisfy
the honor of her CO and has become a great favorite of the security
department.
She is extremely efficient in her duties and unflappable in battle
situations due to
her great age and past military experience.

Since re-entering this plane of existence she has spent her time serving
with the
Warriors of the Klingon Empire. Her personality reflects this and she
reacts in
typical Klingon fashion if pushed too far. She is normally compassionate
and
good natured but is cursed with a terrible temper. It takes a lot to
anger her but
when she does become enraged it is best to clear the room quickly.

Background:
The Tuatha de Danaan were, until recently, thought to be extinct.
Only in the past few years, have they made their presence
known. They are an ancient Celtic race of beings so skilled in
druidic arts that they were thought to be Gods by the ancient people.
The oldest known and "mother" of the race, is Danu. Approximately
4 millennia ago, they left this realm. They live in a place refereed to
as
"Idir Eatarthu" which translates to "Between Worlds" Most are able
to live away from their home realm for short periods of time......
after which they must return home or die.

She requires quarters large enough to contain what she refers to as
her "Sanctuary"...a small garden that contains the soil and plants native
to her home realm. The energy emitted by these things is required for
her to survive away from her home. The Sanctuary will be set up and
maintained by KDaana and will have an isolated power generator which
she will provide. The Sanctuary may appear on ships internal sensors as
a malfunction as the type of energy it emits is unknown to science. Crew
members who visit her quarters may report unusual sensations. These
have never been harmful to other races and in many instances have
resulted in positive effects on the mind and body.

KDaana specializes in science and computers
She is trained in ancient forms of martial arts and Klingon mok'bara
Highly proficient with projectile and phased energy weapons.
Trained in the military disciplines to the Fianna Fail of
her world. Is able to use the traditional energy shield and lance of
the Tuatha, but generally refrains from doing so here.
Like all of her kind, she is able to move in and out of this plane of
existence and move through time, but again, she generally refuses

to do this, preferring to exist as her comrades do. Likewise, she is as
comfortable underwater as she is on land. Federation scientists can
not explain her ability to survive being submerged for long periods

Physical Description:
Human in appearance. Very pale skin with waist length, dark auburn hair
that is
kept in the traditional style of Fianna Fail of her homeplace. Three thin
braids are
woven into the hair just behind each ear. The end of each braid is
secured with a
thin band of leather to which tiny brass bells or jewels are attached.
The braids
can be quickly tied around the rest of the hair to secure it should that
need arise.
Usually has a fine gold Torc around her neck and wears an engraved gold
arm
band on her upper left arm. The Ogham designs on it tell her lineage and
note
her military accomplishments. Like all females of her race, she gives the

impression of being rather slight of form but is actually far stronger
than appears.

Personality:
KDaana, like all of the Tuatha de Danaan, has a highly developed sense of
humor
and a penchant for mischief making that often resulted in brig time, which
she
accepted with serenity. Usually keeps a "Brig Kit" ready for these
occasions
although keeping her confined is a waste of time as she can open the
passage to
her realm at will and simply leave via that way. She does her brig time
to satisfy
the honor of her CO and has become a great favorite of the security
department.
She is extremely efficient in her duties and unflappable in battle
situations due to
her great age and past military experience.

Since re-entering this plane of existence she has spent her time serving
with the
Warriors of the Klingon Empire. Her personality reflects this and she
reacts in
typical Klingon fashion if pushed too far. She is normally compassionate
and
good natured but is cursed with a terrible temper. It takes a lot to
anger her but
when she does become enraged it is best to clear the room quickly.

Background:
The Tuatha de Danaan were, until recently, thought to be extinct.
Only in the past few years, have they made their presence
known. They are an ancient Celtic race of beings so skilled in
druidic arts that they were thought to be Gods by the ancient people.
The oldest known and "mother" of the race, is Danu. Approximately
4 millennia ago, they left this realm. They live in a place refereed to
as
"Idir Eatarthu" which translates to "Between Worlds" Most are able
to live away from their home realm for short periods of time......
after which they must return home or die.

She requires quarters large enough to contain what she refers to as
her "Sanctuary"...a small garden that contains the soil and plants native
to her home realm. The energy emitted by these things is required for
her to survive away from her home. The Sanctuary will be set up and
maintained by KDaana and will have an isolated power generator which
she will provide. The Sanctuary may appear on ships internal sensors as
a malfunction as the type of energy it emits is unknown to science. Crew
members who visit her quarters may report unusual sensations. These
have never been harmful to other races and in many instances have
resulted in positive effects on the mind and body.

KDaana specializes in science and computers
She is trained in ancient forms of martial arts and Klingon mok'bara
Highly proficient with projectile and phased energy weapons.
Trained in the military disciplines to the Fianna Fail of
her world. Is able to use the traditional energy shield and lance of
the Tuatha, but generally refrains from doing so here.
Like all of her kind, she is able to move in and out of this plane of
existence and move through time, but again, she generally refuses

to do this, preferring to exist as her comrades do. Likewise, she is as
comfortable underwater as she is on land. Federation scientists can
not explain her ability to survive being submerged for long periods
of time without deleterious effects. When interrogated about this,
she simply smiles slightly and says "Selkie Blood".

PERSONAL HISTORY

  His Academy years went fairly well.  His older sisters and brother had
preceded him into and through Starfleet Academy, and he was prepared for it
every day of his life.
  He was able to limit his confrontations to only three every semester. He
was often getting into heated debates with many of the professors, in some of
which he "blew the pants off them". During his fourth year in the Academy,
his brother was killed on a Starfleet Away Mission. This upset him very much
and only with the help of his best friend, Bruce Handlon, was he able to
overcome his grief. He spent his Senior Cadet Cruise at Deep Space 2,
finally graduating with high honors and a better knowledge of diplomacy.
  After the year of working on Deep Space 2, he grew very bored and wished to
see the galaxy like most young people. So he signed onto the USS Merlin as an
Assistant Operations officer and was happy to be in this new environment.
  During his assignment on the USS Merlin, his sisters, who had been older
than him and were in Starfleet as well, disappeared on an away mission on the
planet Milatia IX. He took a personal leave and went to Milatia IX himself as
a last desperate search for his missing siblings.
  He was captured by a Dominion cruiser and was put into a refugee camp until
the camp was liberated 4 months later. He had been tortured and nearly driven
insane but after a long and difficult procedure, Starfleet physicians were
able to change him back to the man he once was.
  With no results of his two sister's disappearance, he returned to the USS
Merlin where he stayed two more months as an operations officer before
transferring back to Earth for further help in coping with his loss of his
sisters. After some convincing by his friends, he returned to ship duty
aboard the USS Dallas-B as Assistant Engineering Officer a few months later.
  His parents, while going to a vacation on Risa, were captured and
assimilated by the Borg. Having trouble coping with the loss, he checked
himself into a facility where he could get help coping with the loss of both
his sisters and his parents. Two years later, with a clean bill of health, he
joined onto the USS Dark Angel as Senior Assistant Operations Officer. After
the Dark Angel was decomissioned he was transferred onto the ISS
Reciprocity to serve in the Engineering Department.
  His terrible tragedies with his family and his own imprisonment by the
Dominion have impeded his progress through the ranks, interrupting time
served and distracting him somewhat from his duties.  While he has spent many
years in Starfleet, and served with distinction in several posts, it was not
until after joining the crew of the Reciprocity (and meeting his future wife
- see below) that he was settled enough to begin to go up in rank.  It
was only then he was promoted to Lieutenant Junior Grade.
 On the Reciprocity, he met a striking young Lieutenant Junior Grade by the
name of Voya Banclain-Teris, a doctor on board the ship. They started dating,
and were married shortly afterward. Voya surprised Ian one day by informing
him that she was two months pregnant. Ian could not be more overjoyed, and is
awaiting the arrival of the twins.

Also Known as Tom Petral, Lieutenant Commander Thomas Petral, 75% Vulcan and
25% human, has long been fond of the Federation.  His main interest is
strategically maneuvering ships in intense combat situations.  Two years ago,
he was the executive officer on board the USS Extrata in the OSA.  Then
Lieutenant Petral, he assigned
crew jobs, maintained crew morale, and notified the captain when there were
mathematical and logical doubts in a chosen order.  Petral was mainly known
for his maneuver abilities in the OSA, but was usually an executive officer.
 In intense combat missions, the helm officer on the Extrata would step down
and Petral would take the conn.  Usually, turns were tight, but the Extrata
only suffered bad damage in one out of about twenty sim battles.  Petral
was promoted to Lieutenant Commander and later recieved the field commision
of Captain when the Admiral in command of the Extrata
retired.  Petral commanded the Extrata to approximately 3 good months of
simming until Petral himself was transferred to the USS Protean(also in the
OSA) while the Extrata was given a new crew and rebuilt systems.  Petral was
reduced back to Lieutenant Commander and took full control of helm on the
Protean where he left the OSA and retired from Starfleet as a Lieutenant
Commander.        
Petrals leave of absence from Starfleet was well spent, but he felt the urge
to come back and face the music as he now embarks to continue his excellent
experience in the open field with fate on his side facing the odds of
everyday sim life.  Lieutenant Commander Thomas Petral was returned to action
by FSF high command after his 1 year leave of absence(retirement) was
completely served(Dec1,1999 to Dec1,2000).  He looks forward to starting back
at
Ensign with the USF, but will always carry his experience at the helm and
command positions where ever he goes.     LtCmdr Petral also has extended
knowledge at Tactical, and minor experience at the Engineering position.

PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION
David Cobachk looks very young for his age of 22. He looks like he is
still in his teenage years. His face skin has a light tone due to the fact
that he very seldom has a chance to be in the sun. His hair is blond and
short. The bangs are gelled so that they stick out away from his head like
the bill of a hat. His body is not overly muscular, but it shows that he
often excersizes and works out. On his left arm, he has a tattoo. It is a red
heart with red looking like it is dropping off of the heart. It is left over
from when he was in the Academy in a Special Ops Training team, the Bleeding
Hearts.

PERSONALITY
David has a tendancy to think that he always has to prove himself to
others. He does all that he can to be the best at what he does, and that
sometimes gets him in trouble. He doesn't like to fail. He will try and try
until he does something nearly perfectly. He values the opinions of others
greatly. He is not very serious if he doesn't need to be, though if there is
a situation that requires seriousness, he can be serious. It seems that David
has a strong attatchment to being in control. He can not stand to not be in
control of a situation. It drives him crazy to not be in control.

History: The life of a child aboard a Supply Freighter. It should have
been a good life. It was an exciting life. The exotic that was the common
place. The mundane duties that kept the days organized into neat schedules
before and after the moments of sheer terror as the Klaxton sounded or an
armed cruiser uncloaked onscreen. Life outside Starfleet and the Federation
meant no Federation Regulation and most of the time no protection. By guts
and courage supplies were delivered to distant colonies or Starbases and
profit was made. Living in this more ambiguous world far from the comfort of
Federation Principles meant choosing what means more---sticking to principles
or accomplishing the delivery, and the other part, living with the
consequences of that decision. Connak Fionn had witnessed it and lived it
his whole life.

He was born to a slave of a Freighter Captain. He had sat on the bridge or
worked furiously in engineering duct taping parts of things together for one
more ounce of warp, one more cochrane of subfield drive for shields. And when
it came time to face his first moral conflict. He was like his grandfather's
son. He took the hard road when everything else was easier. He compromised
his principles to save 30 lives, knowing it would follow him for the
rest of his life. There was no turning back. In the shadow of the fringes
and frontiers of the galaxy he hunts vagabonds and roustabouts searching for
the one bounty that slips thru his grasp.

The hunt is on and oddly it has brought him to the Federation, to Starfleet,
and to this ship. Where he must wrestle with Star Fleet regulations, and
Federation directives waiting for that bounty to reveal himself. Only then,
might he somehow find the peace that eludes him.

Connak Fionn had been called to the Feis Tara of the Hills of Tara where the
Clan Chefs gather every three years to discuss law and unit Clans. He
walked into the gathering hall where a wisp of a woman with bright blue eyes
and long black hair stood before two Clans Chefs, The MacGragroir and The
Fionn. Eighteen years ago he had stood in this same ancient circle with the
same woman facing these same men. She had been four and he eighteen. Now he
came to her side a full seasoned warrior second of the Clan Fionn. She stood
straight and tall appearing somehow more than her 5 foot with a stubborn fire
in her eyes. She wore the tartan and skirts of the Fionn's. She had come
willingly as a woman to stand beside him in all things.

The MacGragroir spoke first, in the ancient way of reporting his daughter's
readiness to take her place at his side. Then he told her something in
federation standard and she blushed. A quick flash of anger crossed The
Fionn's eyes and melted away just as quickly. Then is was The Fionn's turn
to speak. Connak faced his father as he spoke quietly of his duty to honor
the woman Brighid MacGragroir in all ways or pay the price as was the custom
of
The Fionn Clan.

It was over as quickly as it had begun. Connak Fionn had been charged with
the providing a life of honor with Brighid MacGragroir. They were sealed to
be wed in the ancient circle witnessed by two Clan Chief as is the ancient
way of sealing. He was charged with joining the old and the new ways of the
Clans together in this union.
All that was left for Connak Fionn to do was wed her. He would take her to
his ship, Reciprocity where he would wed her. It sounded so easy.

Physical Description:
      Shane's ancestry appears to be that of Terran Asian-oriental, with
evidence of a Chinese, Japanese, and Indonesian heritage. He is above average
height for his ethnic group but is slightly less than average girth, making
him appear very slender. His hair is black with a slightly bluish
highlighting to it, and is a bit longer than regulations allow.

Personality:
      Holds emotions underneath a mask of indifference. Can be logical at
times, though form of logic is questionable. Usually defers to authority,
except when authority becomes corrupted. In these cases will often take
matters into his own hands, which usually leads to trouble. Is known to keep
most things that set him off beneath a mask of indifference but may sometimes
explode if stress becomes to great. Otherwise is very reliable and
trustworthy.

Background:
   Born on a failed Earth colony and grew up in the resulting ruins. Managed
to survive for nearly two decades despite roving gangs and various
crime-lords and picked up several skills in thievery. Later rescued by a
civilian transport funded by an earth-based Humanitarian group. Records state
repeated wanderings on the planet before attending special classes at
Starfleet Academy. During that time apparantly trained in the martial arts.

Starfleet academy and left earth for several weeks at a time before being
posted to the ISS Reciprocity.
*Declassified- Shane was pressed into service with a covert Federation
Intelligence group. This group, calling themselves Section 31, was
responsible for the officer initial Starfleet training, among other things.
However, Section 31 became corrupt and issued illegal orders. With the help
of a fellow Reciprocitian, Shane was able to break away from the group's
control, while retaining the benefits of his training. Thus, with somewhat
unique abilities
in his possession, Shane is uniquely qualified for numerous positions in
Starfleet, but his training was apparantly centered on intelligence and
piloting.

SECURITY PROFILE:
- Suspected of illegal arms trade during the reign of the Thallonian Empire,
some smuggling of contraband. No hard evidence, all charges eventually
dropped. Claims to have "reformed" and to deal strictly in "clean" Holosuite
entertainment.
- On Stardate 9806.01 Galex was involved in a terrorist bombing of a
Starfleet vessel transporting an Admiral who was to be visiting Outpost
Cousteau. Galex pleaded guilty to illegal trade of weapons-grade material
without proper permits and testified that he had no other involvement in the
bombing. He performed community service and was released. His claims that the
religious figure known only as "The One" was responsible for the
bombing could not be substantiated.
- In most of his dealings, Galex is careful to avoid direct implications to
criminal activity. However, many of his known associates are definite
criminal elements in many star systems. It is recommended that Galex be
observed carefully, however let it be here stated that his rights as a
Federation Citizen and former Ambassador of Ferenginar should not be
compromised.
- On Stardate 9811.12 Galex legitimately drew 33% of the total votes in the
Election for President of the Vantar's Merchant Association. The results of
that Election were that no one person garnered a majority of votes so by
order of the Command Staff of Outpost Cousteau, the Merchant Association
became headed by a Council instead of a President. Galex resigned his
position as Councilman on Stardate 9905.21 (see below).
- On Stardate 9905.21 Galex received the appointment to Ambassador of the
Ferengi Alliance from Grand Nagus Zek himself and was sent to the USS Aldrin.
He served that posting adequately but never rose to any level of recognition
for the service. He publicly announced his dislike of the "official" reforms
in the Ferengi government and culture, as headed by the new Grand Nagus, Rom,
and continues to liv! e by the original values of the Rules
of Acquisition as handed down for generations.
- On Stardate 0105.01 Galex began purchasing stock and other rights to
various stores and shops on the Plaza Royale of the ISS Reciprocity, until by
0106.01 he owned 53% of all of the Plaza Royale, and full ownership of the
main Holosuite Facility on the civilian-operated Plaza Royale (the mall-like
Deck 4 of the modified Romulan Warbird). He felt that life onboard a
Deep-Space Exploration Starship deep in the Gamma Quadrant might revive his
pursuit of profit. (Besides, he'd run through his previously acquired fortune
and the Adjusters from Ferenginar were suggesting an audit ....)

Arthur James was born on SD5006.30 (June 30, 2350) at 01:35 at the Leonard
H.McCoy Medical Center in London, England on Earth. His parents, Lieutenant
CommanderThomas McKnight and Katherine McKnight went through a troubled
delivery leavingKatherine dead from complications and AJ with genetic
defects. In 2354, Thomasbrought his son to the Titan IV facility where AJ
underwent geneticmanipulation for his defects and genetic enhancement.

Thomasspent over a year with AJ telling him of the consequences of his
revealing toanyone his genetic enhancements. Subsequently, AJ kept his secret
for yearsafterwards. He lived as a normal child participating in school
activities andsporting events and keeping a high grade point average. He
moved through thegrades being offered the chance to skip grades but stayed in
his class onrecommendation from his father.
