Executive Officers Log,
StarDate 9703.08:

**Begin Log***

The HoD was forced to kill a member of the crew today. It was our
dishonorable Chief
Science Officer, Val. This is the first time it has happened on this voyage,
although
several other officers have come very close...

We recieved a priority message from QuonoS telling us that some of our
border colonies
were under attack from an unknown force. Since these colonies were close to
Federation
space, we expected that the war was back on. However, as we got closer, we
could see
that was a mysterious entity known as the Crystilline Entity.

It had already consumed one of our colonies, so we attacked it. It was
immediatly shattered
into four pieces. We thought that was the end of it, so the HoD ordered me
to lead an away
team to the surface to look for surviviours. I took Lucdaz and QImpeq, plus
a medical team.

We located the surviours in a group of caves to the north of the colony. The
once proud
Klingon warriors and their children were in bad shape. We beamed them back
to the ship
with us, and found that the four pieces of the Crystiline Entity had taken
on lives of their
own. We now had four enemies and were forced to make a hasty retreat. But we
will get
those entitys, and get them before they can destroy anymore of our colonies.
The honor
of the dead warriors will be restored!!

<Chief Engineer's log Stardate 9703.15>

...Computer! record log...

Chief Engineer Chuck's log Stardate, ummm, 9703.15. Rawl Kurn took
control of the Hegh'ta after the HoD was on alternate buisness. We returned
to the planet to find them devastating it. We sustained major damage to our
shield and hull integrity but managed to destroy 3 out of 4 of the
crystalline entities. After sending an away team who's job was to save and
survivors we came under attck again. QImpeq, being as brave as ever saved
many with minor help and took many wounded to a nearby cave for their
own protection. He also gave those who did not survive and honorable death.
Back onboard, things were a mess. Doing patchup work via the Lagh Generics we
went back to the planet to destroy the last entity. Using both phasers and
radio waves which was though up by our new science officer, we destroyed it.
The effects though were horrible. We nearly lost warp core containment and
lost all shields plus numerous casulties, myself being one. While on fire I
was able to evacuate engineering with Lucdaz's help
and get out myself. From the bridge, the command was ordered to open
engineering to space, clearing the plasma fire inside. Though (one again) we
sustained major damage with casulties we saved many and avenged many more.
For the glory of the empire! Qaplah!!!

Chief Science Officer's Duty Log, StarDate 9703.15

I.K.C. Hegh'ta

We were on our way to destroy the Crystalline Entities today.
Knowing that conventional weaponry had almost no effect, we had to think of
more desperate manuvers. At first we attempted using a modulated gravitron
beam like the one used around 2368, but that had almost as much effect as
weapons. Running out of time, we began to hypothesize that, if we pulled
right up on the Entity's nose and engaged a static warp field bubble, we
could lower it's mass effectively enough that it could be
shattered by a radio wave sweep. Our efforts destroyed 2 of them, but the
third, weakened, continued it's assault on the Klingon colonist's planet.
Meanwhile, while we were thinking of a way to destroy the remaining Entity,
Sogh Ra'wI' QImpeq and the rest of the landing party tried to get the
colonist's to a secure location. On the Hegh'ta, we had decided on tuning the
phasers to a frequency destructive enough to shatter the assaulting Entity.
Just when the Entity had nearly destroyed the sheltering
caves that the away team and colonists were in, the Hegh'ta's phasers on a
shattering frequency ended its killing spree. Though the planet is now
uninhabitable and the ship is in shambles, we will always remember the glory
we have won on the battlefield today.

... we arrived back at the planet (see last week's logs) and attempted again
to fight the Crystalline Entities unsuccessfully. They went to a near-by
system and attacked another colony. We followed and on the way, the new
Science Officer, mangHom (cadet) Logan, developed a way to reduce the mass of
the entities so they would be easier to destroy.

When we got the the planet, the Hegh'ta dropped Sogh (Lt.) Lucdaz - the Chief
Medical Officer - and I off at the planet so we could help the colonists to
shelter before the entities could kill them. Then the Hegh'ta went back out
of transporter range of the planet to fight the entities. They destroyed two
of them but one got away and headed back for the planet.

With the aid of a hopper, Lucdaz and I took the colonists to a cave which we
sealed off before the entity could arrive. While there one Klingon died
naturally and I, seeing that he was going to die, helped another in honorable
suicide.

The Hegh'ta finally cought up to the last entity and killed it just before
they destroyed the cave we were hiding in. Once I got back on the ship, we
began repairs and Lucdaz is helping the injured.

Today was most interesting. I went off duty for a short while and did
some lite reading. Then I heard the alarms sound and stayed in bed I didn't
want to move I was tired and beat up but Didn't mind having to get up I just
did it more slowly.
When I got to the bridge there was a Big Ugly Ferengi and he was
demanding Woman... Of course I thought blow him to hell but we;d been rocked
before by them.
He Beamed over and I slit ones throat and anothers ears off and
killed along with the rest of the bridge crew. They took a Female and
apparently took out the baby which was half Ferengi and Klingon what a
Dishonor we all took up after them and well our engines cut out before we
could get them.

We were on our way home from fighting the Crystalline Entities; we had many
injured loD je be' tlhinganpu' (Klingon men and women) aboard the Hegh'ta.
We had all begun our personal time usages; Sogh Chaz (Lieutenant Chuck) and
lagh Zorel (Ensign Zorel) were practicing use of their betleHmey (Swords of
Honor [batleths] ) and Sogh Lucdaz was examining her patients, as I recall.
I had started running tactical ship-to-ship battle situation drill
simulations. Then a verengan veQDuj (Ferengi garbage scow)
appeared on the view screen.

I thought it was a simulated ship but it wasn't; it was very real. I, as
well as the rest of the crew, discovered its authenticity when it fired upon
us and got a good hit to the lower decks. I called for condition red, raised
shields, and readied the ship's real weapons. All I was waiting for now was
the order to fire. I wanted that order badly. I could taste it in my chops.
The verengan HuH (Ferengi scum [literally: Ferengi slime) hailed us and
menitoned something about a woman we had onboard but
none of us were prepared to just let an attack on our ship go.

The HoD (captain) gave the order and I let the verenganpu' (Ferengi) have
it! I gave them torpedoes and disruptor shots everywhere! But this seemed
not to be enough. We hailed them and began speaking of the woman they
wanted. We knew not of the woman he spake. We brought all our women to the
bridge.

Somehow, they got our shields down and beamed aboard. They began whipping
all the women on our bridge because they were not the ones for whom he was
searching. This angered me greatly so I attacked them with my Daqtagh
(warrior's knife). I fought them with this for a while then found a betleH.

I engaged in may'neS (honorable battle) along side my crewmates against the
verenganpu'. They were attacking the HoD. I could not let this happen. It
would be a disgrace to the ship so, fighting courageously and valiently, I
gutted one verengan (Ferengi) and killed about 4 more on the bridge to save
the HoD and other crewmembers on the bridge.

During this massive battle, more verengan Ha'DIbaHpu' (Ferengi dogs) beamed
aboard into the Health Bay and began looking for the moman. There was a big
fight down there also. Lucdaz and her staff were overwhelmed and the
verengan found she whom he sought.

They brought this woman back to their ship. They performed a Cesarian
section on her to get an unborn fetus. Though this did not kill her or the
child, the child was stolen from its proper mother and now this woman will
probably never have babies again. This pissed me off! They commited a great
dishonor on the woman and her child and since I have personal past experience
with dishonors done to child and mother, this have just that much more a
profound effect on me.

The Ferengi veQDuj locked a tractor beam on our ship and another arrived.
Somehow, Chuck got aboard one of the verengan veQDujmey (Ferengi garbage
scows) and attempted to blow some conduits below their bridge but had to beam
back to the Hegh'ta in haste and unfortunately was unable to complete his
self-assigned task.

The verengan veQDujmey got away with the baby after beaming back its mother
and left us dead in space...

<Begin Duty Log>

::sigh:: We have chased the Crystaline Entities to another colony planet.
SrwI
QImpeq and I beamed down to the colony in an effort to move the colonists and
the
injured to safety. Several colonists were unable to move quickly to the
protection of
nearby caves, so SrwI QImpeq called for a hopper to transport us. We moved to
the caves and began emergency treatment. Two died in those caves. As we
checked out the caves and inquired about medical supplies, the Crystaline
Entities arrived and began to destroy the caves. We and the colonists took
shelter in the hopper and waited for the Hegh'ta. Soon we were beamed up and
I began to organize the HB into an emergency hospital. Four more colonists
died of their injuries. The rest will need to rest for
about a week, but will recover nicely. Very resiliant. At this point, the
only thing I can do is monitor their recovery and arrange for places for them
to sleep.

<Chief Engineer's Log Stardate 9703.22>

Computer! Begin Log! Chief Engineer Chuck's log stardate 9703.22. While we
were returning from our battle with the surivors of the Crystalline entity
encounter we were intercepted by Ferengi ship. I was practicing my Batleth
skills with Zorath when we took the first hit. I was thrown into a wall but
quickly got up. Running down to engineering I got a sqad of Lagh Generics and
took them down to Deck 7 Section 6 for damage control. A woman was what the
Ferengi were after, a klingon woman. We had already
taken a great amout of damage earlier in the Crystalline Entity encounter
and we just could not stop them. They were successful in taking the woman.
Rarok and I beamed over in an attempt to get her back. He went after her
while I attempted to get to the bridge and take control of the ship. Before
we could do either the woman had a horrible child. A half Ferengi half
Klingon child. All those who were on the ship found this out immediatly and
beamed us aboard, preparing to fire on the Ferengi ship. As we
fired, they went to warp, eluding our beams of disruptor fire and photon
torpedoes. We had hailed a Vorcha class attack cruiser and it was on its way
but still out of range. Taking a chance we went into pursuit of the fleeing
enemy ships with the Hegh'ta which, by then, was in very bad shape. We passed
warp 9.0 then continued to increase speed but we could never quite catch
them. Warp 9.0 turned into 9.2 then 9.3, 9.4, 9.5, then we surpassed designed
limits, going faster than 9.62. I thought that the
ship could maintain the speed but evidently, with our damaged wing and
lowered structural integrity we just couldn't hold the speed. At warp 9.65+
we had a warp fallout and lost all warp capability. Being restricted to
impulse power we are literally dead in space. I only hope we can contact
another passing ship to tow us back to a Station because it will take a LONG
time to go anywhere at sublight speed. I will pray to the gods to help us and
guide us in the journey we have ahead of us. Computer! End

Computer! Record Log! Engineer log stardate 9703.29. We continue to float
through space on
impulse power, hoping to be rescued. I have been busy on damage control but
it will not help. The
entire matter/antimatter system has been destroyed and there is no way to
repair it. The only way
to fix it it to replace the system. I hope we are rescued. I would prefer a
painful death over a
death out here in space, all alone with no where to go...

Chief Tactical and Second Officer's Log, StarDate 9704.05
Sogh ra'wI' QImpeq (Lt. Cmdr. K'mpec), son of QotaH
tlhIngan Hubbeq Duj Hegh'ta (I.K.C. Death)

The verengan nuchpu' (Ferengi cowards) just left us here disabled to let us
rot. We began repairs and readied the ship for battle and warp capability.

While trying to make emergency repairs to the system, Sogh (Lieutenant) Chuck
was injured with radiation burns. Hays, the newest person on the crew, went
to get Chuck and bring him to the health bay.

Then, once we'd begun to get back to operational status, a verengan
m'rInDaDuj (Ferengi Marauder-class ship) locked a tractor beam on us. Then,
as I was about to fire manual disruptors at them, we were all knocked
unconscious somehow.

We woke in a cell of some sort with no identifiable openings except
ventilation shafts in the walls that not even a Qa'Hom (small animal) could
crawl through. Then part of the wall came away and a verengan nuch (Ferengi
coward) tortured us through some gate made of metal. We killed the verengan
HuH (Ferengi scum). Then I melted the bar with a disruptor I had made from
pieces of our uniforms. I then moved the melted metal of the bar, making a
whole big enough to walk through.

We found a med kit and our communication devices in a locker on the wall.
Sogh Lucdaz began treating Chuck as we made our way out.

We found a shuttle after killing two more guards which tried to ambush us.
Everyone loaded onto the shuttle. I took the Conn. and began to fly us off
that planet. The shuttle isn't much... it has a few decks and a small health
bay, but that's it. Very low warp capability. We need to find and get back
to the Hegh'ta...

Executive Officers Log
Stardate 9704.05.

***Begin Log***

We were still powered down and damaged from the effects of the Ferengi ship.
Chuck
and his crews were working tirelessly to get the systems up and running
again so that
we could tracking down the dis-honorable Ferengi and show them what happens
when
they cross Klingons!

When we were finally underway we were able to track the Ferengi using the
ion trail from
their engines and we cornered them only a few light-years from our first
encounter. But right
before QImpeq was about to destroy them, they used some kind of mental
device which
left us unconscience and unable to function.

When we awoke, we found ourselves in a small cell with only a ventilation
shaft to allow fresh
air and sunlight in. We were humiliated by a fat Ferengi on the other side
of the force field
that was holding us in. Unfortunately, Chuck had become ill with radiation
sickness and was
able to do little more then lay on the ground and moan, so the task of
gettingus out fell to
our newest officer, Hays. This duty he performed with honor and we were out
of the cell. Chuck,
being an honorable warrior, tried to make us leave him behind so that we
could escape. QImpeq
was willing to do it, but the Captain and I wouldn't hear of it. We carried
him all the way.

We soon discovered that we were in the middle of a massive compound. We made
our way to
the roof and found several shuttles waiting there. After a brief fight with
incompetant Ferengi
"warriors" we were on our way back to the ship.

<Chief Engineer Sogh Chuck's Log Stardate 9704.05>

I was ordered to regain power of the ship because to Ferengi's were coming
about for a direct assault to finish off the Hegh'ta. We had taken severe
damage to our matter/antimatter mix system. I gave Vader the responsibility
of Chief Engineer, knowing that my possibitites of surviving the repair work
was slim. Donning a RAD-suit I entered into the mix chamber to repair the
components. I was able to repair it but it hurt. I have never felt pain like
that. Not even when I was shot four times by the
Romulans. It was like my skin was on fire but even worse. I passed out from
the pain and woke up in a prison cell with my other crew mates. We were
dishonored by a Ferengi nu'ch guard but we were able to kill him and Vader
was able to short out the force field. I was too injured to do anything. I
couldn't stand and I could barely crawl. I called to Lucdaz and asked her to
end my life. She refused and I asked QImpeq who accepted but was stopped by
my other ship mates. I told the HoD that I was hurt badly
and I had an hour or so to live and again requested to be sacrificed for the
good of the many, the crew. He refused and I requested...begged to be left
behind. Troops were already on their way. Lucdaz found an Emergency Medical
Kit and HoD had me knocked out. That is all I remember... all I know. I pray
they left me behind... This is Sogh Chuck...perhaps for the very last time,
signing off. Qapla'! For the glory of the Klingon Empire!

<Chief Engineer Sogh Chuck's Log Stardate 9704.12>

I have no memory of anything happening. I awoke to find myself in a ship...I
know where I was before, a Ferengi ship but I have no other memory. My
strength is returning thanks to Lucdaz's great help in the medical field.
They should have left me behind but I'm glad to be alive. Glad to be here.
Glad to be a part of the crew once again.

We began by using our captive Ferengi ship to search for the Heghta. Another
ship attacked us and we had to run into it to so that we could get aboard it
and take their ship. We found the Heghta and then we baorded it, killed the
ferengi and went home.

<Chief Engineer Sogh Chuck's Log Stardate 9704.19>

Engineer's Log Stardate 9704.19. After boarding the small ferengi ship I
awoke. The pain was incredeble. I was unsure if I could keep it in check but
I did. It was getting worse though, much, much, worse. We came under attack
by another ferengi ship and crashed into it. Taking severe damage I exited
the small Healthbay, determined to hold her together as long as possible.
With Lucdaz help we were able to delay the warp core breach long enough to
beam onto the other ship which wasn't near as damaged as
the one we were on. I taking the ship I was hit once with a ferengi phaser
but was able to remain awake. I was unalbe to assume the station though. My
injures had become too severe. The Healthbay on this ship was even less than
on the other. I was able to tell Lucdaz enough information, combined with her
minimum engineering skills, to attain warp 2. Our destination was one of
salvation. The I. K. C. Hegh'ta. Our ship. We entered transported range and a
small boarding party beamed onto the Hegh'ta. I was
not among them. I could barely breath plus I could barely move a muscle. I
was so tired. I just closed my eyes. What I didn't know was that was I
wouldn't be able to open them again. Ra'wl' Kurn, my executive officer,
friend, and fellow warrior, checked my pulse and found none. Moments later my
heart beat and breathing had stopped as well. After Sogh Lucdaz and Lagh
Clark had retaken the Hegh'ta I was beamed into the Healthbay. Lucdaz
immediatly put her great skill to work. I was not there though. I was
in a realm of no pain, suffering, war, nothing. I was home. All of my family
members that had died fron years ago to the beginning of time came and met
me. I was amazed. I was preparing to enter the light, making the final leg of
my journey I stopped. My crewmates... my friends still needed me. Kathless,
Kurn, QImpeq, Lucdaz, Clark, Rarok, many others (yes even the'ole generic
guys), and... Lady K'Marah. I couldn't just leave them. It wasn't my time. I
told my grandfather who had died three years ago
that I couldn't continue the journey. He accepted my explaination, yelled
Qapla' and left me alone. I looked once more at the light. The light that led
home and turned my back on it. Walking back into the darkness I found light
again. It wasn't the beautiful light of the heavens but the light from a
standard illumination bar. Pain greeted me but I accepted it gratfully. I was
alive again! All were happy to see me. Although they were about to carve me
into a rug (Kathless!) and had performed my death
right... The death scream they accepted my renewed life with great cheer. I
guess I'm "stuck" in a radiation deradizing chamber for a few days but it is
worth it. Now I'm alive and can do lifes greatest duties. Serving aboard the
Hegh'ta, doing constant damage control on her, and drinking bloodwine and
warnog with my good friend, Lady K'Marah. I thank Lucdaz for saving my life.
I will recommend that she is promoted when the next Promotion day comes
around. Congratulations are also in order for Clark who
helped recapture the Hegh'ta and who also go a well deserved promotion. Good
work...BSgh Clark! Once again for the glory of the Empire! Qapla' all!

Executive Officer's Log
Stardate 9704.20:

**Begin Log**

We began in orbit of the Ferengi prison planet in a stolen shuttle. Our
Chief Engineer,
BSgh Chuck, lay dying in the small ship's Medical Bay from radiation
sickness taken
in the line of duty. Plus, the Hegh'ta was still under the control of the
Ferengi mercenaries
who captured it previously.

Picking up on the Hegh'ta's ion trail, we followed it to a location just
inside Ferengi space.
We used our computer access codes to lower the shields, and Clark and Lucdaz
beamed
over. The place was crawling with Ferengi. Clark was able to secure the
Bridge and Lucdaz
cleared out HealthBay.

Meanwhile, back aboard the Ferengi shuttle, Chuck had taken a turn for the
worse. He was
coughing out of control and had small welts all over his body, the final
stages of radiation
sickness. I was there when the ominous high pitched wail of his medical
insturments
announced his death.

We beamed him over to the Hegh'ta where he remained dead for several minutes
until the
expert care of Lucdaz snatched him from the jaws of stovokor...

Executive Officer's Log
Stardate 9704.27:

**Begin Log**

Today was quite a day. We have been picked for something of a covert mission
into the
heart of Cardassian-Dominion Space. Our mission is to penetrate their
defences and locate
a research lab on one of their supposedly uninhabitated moons. It is
believed that they are
manufacturing biological weapons for use against the Empire and others.

It wasn't a problem penetrating Cardassian-Dominion Space, but finding the
location of the
lab was a different matter altoghether. This time, however, we got lucky. A
Cardassian
freighter passed us and found us through our cloak. We pursued them as they
made a hasty
retreat. It was no problem for QImpeq to disable their systems.

I led a boarding party consisting of myself QImpeq and K'Marah (a new
officer). I assigned
K'Marah to search their computer banks for possible coordinates to the lab
while QImpeq
and searched their cargo bay.

After a short and unsucessful attempt to acertain exactly what was in the
modules in the
Cargo Bay, we were forced to destroy them. At that time K'Marah reported
failure with the
computer banks and the HoD ordered to kill prisoners until we had the
location of the lab.
We killed at least seven and still weren't given a response...

<Chief Engineer Sogh Chuck's log Stardate 9704.27>

After sitting in a Radiation deradizer for nearly half a week I was ready
for revenge. The High Council gave us permission to fire on any and all
Ferengi vessels. I was very happy and ready to kill some nu'ch Ferengis. That
was not to happen. The High Council had other plans for us. We were to cross
over into Cardassian space and see if a base was holding biochemical weapons.
These weapons could hold a great threat to the Empire. Engaging the cloak we
went through the neutral zone into Cardassian space.
We can upon a small freighter and it spotted us through a neutrino leak. As
the ship went to warp they hit us with a biochemical weapon. Vader was able
to lock down the neutrino leak but as to the explosion we were unsure. We had
a minor hull breach which was repaired. But... the weapon had sent gas into
the ship. A crew man named Kimmy (a. k. a. LaghGeneric12) had been infected.
Lucdaz came to his aid but was too late. The crewman and Lucdaz, our CMO and
friend, had been infected. I was ordered to
search for a way to stop the disease. I was given an extreamly limited amout
of information to solve the problem. Also, to make matters worse, our hull
integrity was falling because the chemical was destroying our hull. We were
able to stop the degration process but Lucdaz was dying. We had caught the
freighter and was executing the crew but they would tell us nothing. Lucdaz
was getting worse and worse. After examining the information I found nothing.
Lucdaz was dying. She had saved me several times,
recently when I had radiation poisoning. She went in and got me. I couldn't
leave my friend to die. I fired a disruptor charge in the room to end her
great pain by stunning her. I told Vader to put on a suit and get her while I
went to the Health Bay and readied a status field. He brought her and I
placed her in the field. I can only hope my little medical knowledge and the
little information we have can save her life. The mission objective, in this
case, is second proiority to me. This mission is as of
yet unresolved.

Executive Officers Duty
Stardate 9705.04:

**Begin Log**

The away team and I beamed back from the Cardassian freighter, having tried
and failed
to extract the information on the location of the Cardassian bio-weapons
lab. We had killed
eight prisoners before the HoD ordered us back. The Cardassians may have
little to no
honor, but they do have one thing: courage.

Fortunatly, our new helmsmen K'Marah, was able to sift through the
Cardassian computer
banks and find a set of coordinates that led to an isolated point in space.
We cloaked and
quickly proceeded there.

We found a huge fortress, heavily guarded and armed. We attempted and attack
with our
Fire-while-cloaked ability. We couldn't even put a dent in their defences.
Then our cloaking
device failed and we were forced to retreat back to Klingon space for
re-inforcements....

Engineer's log... We were able to save Lucdaz, thank the gods. After
accessing a computer information bank from the enemy ship I found a encrypted
file. After accessing I found information on the disease and a cure. We came
to the space station and attempted an attack, I being stationed at Tactical
but we did no damaged. Ever several attacks, using our fire-while-cloaked
proved inneffective. The ship were able to fire on us and did critical
damage. We are trying to reach base 51 for salvation from the
pursuing ships...

We reached the base sucessfully! We docked and implimented emergency
repairs... but there was *much* to be fixed. We installed a new cloak and
patched our hull but our nacelle was nearing structural failure. We ejected
it. With Vader, Lucdaz, and Clark's help I was able to regain partial main
power. We weren't quite up to full operating efficency and we had no warp
potential but we went to face incoming ships. Unfortuantly, our cloak was
stolen and was being used by Threat vessels. Lucdaz helping me, I
armed a torpedo with a sensor that would detect the Threat vessel's engine
exhaust. My the gods guide it to its target!

I have just returned from the Boroth Monistary where I am have been
trained in the comprehensive knowledge of Klingon Medicine, Biogastal
Biology, Inter-species Mating, and Alien Biology. Dr. K'Mtaret was the
director of Klingon Medcal Sceinces and the Cheif Clinician of the classes I
attended. My months' LOA allowed me to complete my training for the CMO
position and allow mw to work with some of the heading scientific minds on
the Homeworld.
The Clinic was divided into 5 main partsL: 1) Klingon Medicine, 2)
Klingon Biology, 3) Comprehensive Alien Pysiology, 4) Computer Medicine, and
5) Federation Protocal of Medicine. We had some of the most intresting guest
instructors and special guests. I also had the opertunity to attend a seminar
on Adverse Psychology by the head of the Federation League of Psychology, Dr.
Alare Bemer, of Betazed. I am looking forward to getting back to my post and
ship.

A victory for the Klingon Empire as we were able to defend our powerful
IKC Hegh'ta against the Inferior Rihannsu Technology. I know that without my
strong courage, honor, & loyality to the Hegh'ta, the Empire would be out one
strong vessel. The Rihannsu Tal Shiar in which were able to capture is not
what I expected. I expected all Romulans to be the weak little creatures,
similar to the humans. The Hegh'ta alnong with the two other Klingon
Vessel's were able to successfully repeal the romulans.
Now if we can just get TMar to talk.

Our current position leaves us just outside Klingon Space.

And in order to make our guest more welcome, I am placing SrwI Kesara in
charge of making sure our guest, not prisoner, is comfortable on the Hegh'ta.
If she fails in this task I will be very disappointed. The first order of

Log... after approached by the Romulan vessels we cloaked. Our situation was
still desperate though... we had little power since the Romualn woman, T'Mar,
had damaged the ship. We had only half of our main power, no auxiliary power
avalible, and minimal emergency reserves. After talking to T'Mar with little
sucess we were able to call in reinforcements.

My first mission back aboard the glorious Hegh'ta after an extended LOA.
We currently have in our possession a romulan: one female, Tal Shiar, a Major
TMar. My understanding is that she is a prisoner of war and, as such, a
slave. However, the HoD now seems to have changed his mind regarding her
status. It is not my place to question his motives at this time.
In any case, we were confronted by a Romulan vessel and they demanded
that we turn TMar over to them. As is only right, our HoD refused. He
secretly instructed me to contact two nearby klingon ships to approach
cloaked and stand ready. I did so on a secure channel.
I had thought the Tal Shiar more sophisticated in their technologies,
but they never even noticed the transmission. Perhaps they were less than
battle alert, feeling they had us easily outmatched. An error, as they
speedily learned.
When the romulan captain grew angry with the HoD for failing to
surrender TMar, and prepared to fire upon us, the HoD gave the signal for our
allies to uncloak. They did. The romulans took one look and turned and ran.
So much for the much-vaunted courage of the Tal Shiar...

First Officer's Log
Stardate 9707.13:

**Begin Log**

We returned to Klingon space after our recent encounter with the Romulans.
Our
new orders were to patrol the provinces of the Empire that border the
Federation.
Normally this would lead to an uneventful cruise, but today we encountered a
damaged
Federation Galaxy-class starship that wandered into our space.

I immediatly lead a repair crew over to the starship (one USS Galaxy). Chuck
and Vader
headed up the repair efforts while I ordered our new Lagh, Kor, to find out
how the ship
was damaged. This was nessescary because the Galaxy's CO wasn't talking.

Vader and Chuck proceeded with repairs in Engineering and Kor discovered
that the
Galaxy was attacked by a band of rebel pirates, 17 light years away. They
wouldn't
have taken so much damage except for several lucky shots on the part of the
Rebel's.
Due to the Rebel's proximity to Klingon space, I expect we will be pursuing
them so that
they won't threaten Klingon shipping lanes...

Duty Log... Stardate 9707.13. While near the border our scans picked up a
federation starship within 17 lightyears from our location. Going to
investagate we learned that this ship was the famed U.S.S. Galaxy. She was
the original Galaxy class ship and is still after 10 years of being
commisioned considered to be one of the top-of-the-line federation ships.
After constant battles with our new Romulan "officer" on route, we
finally arrived to a near powerless and damaged USS Galaxy. While trying to
find a suitable position for our new crew member, T'Mar, Vader, my able
assistant engineer, beamed over. After a small amount of time looking over
the ship he made an accurate damage report. I beamed over a few minutes later
and began to make repairs to the ship, with Vader and several other's aid.
While Kurn was getting information from remaining Galaxy crew
members we were able to restore partial power and full impulse capability.
I can only hope that whatever force did this to the Galaxy does not
return to finish the job. With much of the Hegh'ta crew now on the Galaxy,
attempting repairs and the Galaxy herself crippled, we would be sitting
ducks.

"As usual, I began my shift at the science station on the bridge. The
romulan pris..." she makes a face and corrects herself, "guest was also on
the bridge. Since the HoD has decided to change her status among us, he gave
the task of finding her suitable quarters to Lagh Kor." Kesara sneers,
silently expressing her opinion that suitable quarters could easily be found
for the woman on the far side of any airlock on the ship.
"While the female was off the bridge, the HoD acted more his old self,
ordering helm to return us to klingon space and begin a border patrol. Not
long after we had started, we encountered a federation ship, the USS Galaxy,
badly damaged and foundering. We offered our assistance, they accepted and an
engineering crew was beamed over to help them repair.
"It seems they were ambushed and heavily damaged by pirates before they
were able to limp safely away." Kesara raises her brows, "They must have been
quite some pirates to do so much damage to the original Galaxy class
starship!"
"While part of our crew was away assisting the Galaxy, the HoD once
again indulged the romulan's ridiculous requests. He even went so far as to
order me to return her Tal Shiar equipment. Fortunately, for the sake of my
honor, I was unable to comply as I am a science officer and security had
taken custody of the objects." She frowns again and lapses into silence...

Rylar> {{Today was a very interesting day. The repares on the Galaxy-class
Federation star ship were finished. As we had no orders from the Empire we
set a corse for Qo'noS. We barely got on our way, when we were attacked.
Several Maquis raders had apeared on censors. I emediatly rased shields, and
cloaked us. They attacked agin, and some how captured HoD Kahless. Expecting
them to bord our ship for a face to face attack I drew my disrupter, however
I did not need it, and put it away. Running a
systems check we decovered a small whole in our shield, were the Maquis may
have gotten a transporter signal throgh to capture our HoD. ra'wI' Kurn
orginised an away team to resque the HoD, leveing me in command. I moved to
the command chair, and rerouted ops to the control panel on the chair. Once
abord the Maquis rader that held HoD Kahless hostage, I accessed there logs
to find out where they were keeping him. Scans showed that he was in the
brig, I informed ra'wI' Kurn, and attemped to make
telepathic contact with the HoD. It was then a new Federation ship, one I
have never seen before, decloaked off our port bow, and I rased shields. The
censers identified it as one of the federations new, Ahzdar Class, ships
named the, U.S.S. Excelsior, id number NCX-2000-B. The Excelsior began
fireing on the Maquis raders, destroying them with just one shot. Fortunatly
the away team found the HoD, and all of them returned to our ship before
the...}}

First Officer's Log
Stardate 7907.20:

**tagh QuonoS <Open Log>**

Our away team finished repairs on the USS Galaxy today and we returned
to the Hegh'ta. I expected that we would seek out and destroy the pirates
who crippled that fine warship, but we didn't. We set course back to
Quo'noS.
This questionable command from the HoD was undoubtedly caused by the
influence of our Romulan "guest", but it pales in comparision with his next
blunder.

The HoD actually gave the T'Mar authority over SrwIKesara!! He told her to
"evaluate Kesara's performance"!! I of course wouldn't stand for it! The
very
idea of Tal Shiar trash evaluating an honorable warrior!

However, my objections were forced to wait by an unknown attack. I
immediatly
ordered shields raised and our attacker idenitifed. It turned out that it
was a
ship of unknown origins matching the description of the one that attacked
the
Galaxy. We returned fire and disabled their shields, but they were somehow
able to abduct our HoD with their transporters!!

So, I took Kor and Kesara over to the pirate vessel and left Rylar in
command.
Kesara and Kor searched the ship from bow to stern while I went to the
bridge
and had a little "chat" with the pirate captain.

Kor was able to locate the HoD just before another Federation starship, this
time the USS Excelsior, dropped out of warp and opened fire on the pirate
vessel. We beamed back just before it was destroyed.

Back aboard the Hegh'ta, Kor gave me a disturbing report. He said that when
he found the HoD, he wasn't held against his will, he was talking with a
pirate
engineer. Although I doubt our HoD would betray us, I will investigate this
matter
further...

Stardate 9707.27:

**Begin Log**

After our short engagement with the pirate vessel, we found ourselves
heavily
damaged facing a fully powered Federation starship, the USS Excelsior. SrwI
Chuck began directing repairs with the help of the rest of the crew,
including
Major T'Mar.

In the meantime, I ordered our Chief of Security, Lagh Kor, to go find Major

T'Mar and take back her Tal Shiar toys. When he confronted T'Mar, she became
violent and a fight ensued. It was interrupted by the arrival of three new
pirate
vessels.

The vessels all started attacking the Hegh'ta, concentrating all of their
firepower
on us, ignoring the Excelsior. Although Chuck is an expert engineer, he
hadn't
had time to make repairs, and so were at a grave disadvantage. But the crew
fought
well and hard, with great honor. We succeeded in destroying one and heavily
damaging another of their vessels.

Finally, the old fool in command of the Excelsior did what he should have
done
in the first place: come in on our side. He was probably waiting until we
had made it
safe to do so, even though his vessel was undamaged. Typical Federation
cowardice...

Nevertheless, they destroyed the last of the pirates and, after some
convincing,
the HoD allowed them to beam over repair crews. I used this lull in the
action to
check on Kor's progress. He and T'Mar were still at it, each having recieved
rather
severe wounds in their fight. I ordered Kor to report to the HealthBay and
seized the
Tal Shiar devices from T'Mar by force. They are now sitting in security
storage and
will remain that way until she is off our ship for good..

With no thanks to the ineffectual assistance of the Federation crews, SRwI
Chuck
was able to get repairs completed, despite their help. Now fully battle
ready once
again, we are continuing are patrol across the neutral zone...

The USS Excelsior, having crossed the border in Klingon space in an
effort to track the Pirate ship that had attacked it and having found the
Heghta under attack and crippled from that exact ship, moved closer besid the
Heghta. I was in the CMO's officer reviewing the Medical Logs for the crew
when the Pirate ship attacked us. The Excelsior quickly removed it fomr the
area and left us and the Federation ship neck to neck in a tense situation.
Even tho the situation was bad the crew itself was going
through a tough time too. Chuck and Kurn had some words over the Major and
her "toys". During the comversaiton three Pirate ships entered our space and
began attacking us. I was kept VERY busy with the incomming wounded and
casualties. I was dispatched to the bridge to assist Rylar who had been
injured. As I returned to the HB, I noticed Kor and TMar injured. I attempted
to assist them, but the Major refused my help. As I attempted to sedate her
she knocked the hypo from my hand. After she left and Kor
was transported to the HB, I follwed TMar to her quarters where I attempted
to help her, as I was ordered to by Kurn. When she pulled a disrputor and
would not let me in I gave the Med Kit to Chuck and let him go and help her.
I spoke with Kurn about this and was ordere back to the HB to helpo those
that needed it.

After sustaining major damage, the Hegh'ta was nearly defenseless. No warp,
no cloak, minimal shields, weapons that would work for a minute then
deactivate the next. Things were not good. Even worse, T'Mar, who was trying
to help me, was harrassed by Kurn and Kor. We recieved aid from a Federation
vessel just in time. Another threat vessel had approached us and fired on us,
doing even more damage. Fortunately we were able to destroy the vessel and we
are currently repairing what we can with the help of
the Federation vessel, Excelsior's, aid.

Having fulfilled our term of border patrol, the HoD directed helm to set
course for Q'onoS. We had little more than embarked upon the course, however,
when we were fired upon by a vessel of unknown registry. Several more such
vessels appeared and while we were still attempting to figure out who they
were and why they would attack us, they somehow managed to beam our HoD away.
Disgraceful...
Kurn turned the bridge over to Rylar and ordered Kor and myself to join
him in beaming over to the enemy vessel and searching for the HoD. The three
of us speedily headed for the transporter room and were soon beamed aboard
the other ship.
To our surprise, it proved to be a maquis vessel. The Klingon Empire
has no enmity toward the maquis, for them to attack us unprovoked was an
unprecedented action. Unprecedented and, I might add, extremely foolish. The
Maquis are already fighting a war on two fronts: Cardassian and Federation.
Why add the Klingon Empire to the mix? On the surface, it appears the work of
a fool.
Once we materialized aboard the maquis vessel and disposed of the
welcoming committee, Kurn directed us to spread out and find the HoD. Kurn
headed to the bridge, where he ultimately encountered the maquis captain. Kor
sought out first the brig and then Engineering. It was in Engineering that he
located the HoD. I encountered no one as I prowled the corridors.
While we were still aboard the maquis ship, the USS Excelsior dropped
out of warp and began firing upon the maquis. Kurn ordered us beamed back to
the Hegh'ta, our HoD and the maquis captain went with us. I believe the
maquis captain was a less than willing guest...
