IKC Hegh'ta HoDKahless Reporting

"Duj tlvoqtaH" ("Always trust your instincts")

I can remember that not long ago I was on the surface of Qo'noS. I
woke up this morning and found myself sitting in in a Brig type cell. I then
remembered that it was no cell, only a standard set of Klingon Sleeping
quarters. I assumed that the ship will bring the Empire much honor in the
days to come. The IKC Hegh'ta will bring much honor to the d'k tahg family
and to the glory of the Empire. Before leaving Qo'noS I already had a
challange to my command so I said, "qab jIH nagil" (face me if
you dare). They dared (Bad Move). I grabbed the Klingons arm and twisted
it behind his back. I then stabbed him in the back with his own d'k tahg. A
second Klingon came to his aid. By sweeping the other Klingon I was able to
cut his throat. Lord Gowron and I then later walked down a corridor, where I
officially was given the rights to the IKC Hegh'ta.
As I arrived on the bridge the other Klingons were not surprised to see
me. It was my duty to remove the 'OLD' klingon crew. Three of the Klingons
charged me. I did a triple back flip over them and landed on my feet behind
them. I sliced right through them as if they weren't there. After awhile I
fought off several other bridge members. Now it was between myself and the
Captain of the Klingon Ship. I said, "bljeghbe' chugh vaj blHegh" (Surrender
or Die). He surrendered in honor and stepped
down to myself. I now find mysled the Captain of the IKC Hegh'ta with a
new crew. I am looking forward to serving.

Kesara strode down the corridor toward her new quarters. The few
belongings she had yet to transfer to her room on the Hegh'ta were in a
small sack she carried in her left hand; her bat'telh strapped across her
back. As she neared her room she noticed a small stack of boxes and bags
piled beside the door. She frowned. Her personal effects had been sent aboard
some time ago...they should have already been placed in her room. They should
NOT still be sitting in the corridor.
Unless...her eyes narrowed in speculation as she stared at the door. She
casually dropped the bag she was carrying, adding it to the pile on the
floor. She keyed the door. It didn't respond. She drew back her fist and
smashed the door control. Obviously, it was already malfunctioning...she
would fix it. Kesara located and connected the proper wires and the door
hissed open.
A glance into the room sufficed to explain both her possessions being
left piled beside the door and the reason for the door's malfunction.
Apparently Sogh Ra'wl' Kell had decided not to yield his position as second
officer of the Hegh'ta to her. He stood defiantly in the center of the room,
awaiting her. He looked to be approaching middle age. Still in good shape;
powerfully muscular. The arrogant look on his face told her as much about him
as the scars he bore. This one believed only what he
wanted to...or what he was made to. She shook her head, silently asking
herself why these fools never learned.
When he saw his 'replacement' standing in the door, Kell began to
chuckle. "Go home and bear sons for the Empire, be' !!" He said the klingon
word for woman in much the same tone one would use in addressing a slave.
"Leave war to the men, weak one, find another way to snare yourself a
husband." He ran his eyes insolently over her form. "Not that I can see why
you have had trouble finding a mate..." He grinned wolfishly. "In fact, take
yourself off to your father and tell him to await my call...I may
offer for you myself." Having thus dismissed her, he turned toward his
computer console, as if to resume his interrupted tasks.
She said nothing, simply stepping into the room and drawing her
bat'telh. Inwardly, she sighed...why was it that her reputation never seemed
to proceed her? Why did she have to go through this every time she moved up
in rank or switched posts? She laughed quietly as she realized it was likely
her own fault...afterall, dead men tell no tales. She would have to remember
that. Maybe she would let this one live...she smiled at him as he looked up;
surprise that she was still there evident on his
face...Yes...this one she would allow to live, if only for the pleasure of
seeing the contempt in his eyes turn to fear...
Kell shook his head,"So, wench, you would challenge me, eh?" Still
shaking his head at her foolhardiness, he reached for his own bat'telh. No
sooner had his hands closed upon the sword than he turned, slicing the blade
at her. It seemed he had hoped to take her by surprise. If so he was doomed
to disappointment. When his blade passed through the space she had been, she
was simply not there. He had been so confident in his ability to easily
defeat her that it took him a fraction of a second to realize
that he had miscalculated. Unfortunately, that miscalculation cost him
dearly. As Kell was pulled off balance by his missed strike; Kesara, her
bat'telh once again strapped to her back, stepped back in and delivered a
punishing right to his jaw. Stunned, the big klingon stumbled backward;
shaking his head to clear it. Kesara waited. Angry now, Kell roared and
charged her, bat'telh held above his head like an axe.

Grinning, Kesara quickly moved forward to meet him. This time punching
him in the gut and sidestepping as he brought the bat'telh crashing down. The
force of his blow was such that the honor sword embedded itself in the floor
of the room. Before he could recover, she moved back in; first smashing her
knee into his face and then delivering a sharp blow to his neck with the edge
of her hand. He collapsed, semi-conscious and wretching, on the floor beside
his blade. She laughed at him, stepping back
from the mixture of blood and vomit that was pooling around his head, the
blood spurting from his broken nose. "Do you yield, Kell?" she inquired
sweetly.
Numbly, he nodded...yes, he yielded..."Good. I would hate to soil my
blade with the blood of such a one as you." So saying, she turned and made
her way toward the bridge, calling a maintenance crew to come and clean up
the mess in her quarters...and to fix the faulty door lock.

Computer begin log of 81696 from weapons officer Lagh Kadrea

Well we left orbit in one piece to search for the piece of Koromex. We found
it in Captain Roberts ready room, we managed to get the shields down with
Qlmpeq's help and board the ship to retrieve the piece. We stunned the bridge
crew so we could retrieve the piece. we returned in one piece, we cloaked
and fired upon them as we left in warp. The piece seems to be very
interesting, wonders what it does?

Today, we completed our first mission: the recovery of the Komerex Weapon
from Federation hands. It was an exhilurating mission. It began with our
orders: to recover the Komerex Weapon. We proceeded to intercept a
Federation vessel. I fixed the disruptors before we got there to get us
ready for optimal battle efficiency. When we arrived, we made our intentions
clear and the HoD (captain) asked for the "Object" from the captain of the
Fed. vessel (the USS Pulsar, a Nebula class ship). We could not
be certain that they had it without modifying the sensor array to penetrate
the shields of the opposing ship, so I completed this task with the
assisstance of Lagh (ensign) Khan. After we detected the weapon on their
ship, and they refused to give it up, I located a weakness in their sheilds
that we could fire on to allow us to beam over (lower their shields). Ra'wI
(commander) Kurn, Ra'wI Kesara, and I beamed over, secured their bridge, and
after I jammed their main battle systems, we got the Komerex
weapon and beamed home. Then, as two other Federation vessels (one Merinda
class, the other Constellation class) moved to intercept us, we left the
scene (just as they were firing at us). It was a glorious victory.

****Begin Log****

We began the glourious mission of the IKC Hegh'ta with a special order from
Emperor Kahless
himself.We were ordered to located and retrieve the Komerex device, an
ancient weapon of nearly
unlimited power.
We had been informed that the USS Pulsar, a neubula-class Federation
vessal, had recovered
it.We immediatly set an intercept course.It wasn't long before we had
arrived, and we decloaked
and hailed it.The Captain was very diplomatic, but was obiously lying when he
said he didn't have
the Komerex object;QImpeq and Kesara had come up with a way of scanning
through their shield
and had located it.
So, we used every iota of power on the ship and destroyed their
shields.QImpeq, Kadrea, and I
beamed over to their bridge.The scene there filled our hearts with pride;they
were at Red alert and
had lost main power.Several of their stations were blinking on and off, some
off them had explode
d, the bridge was in chaos, all because of our attack.
QImpeq and Kadrea took care of the surviving bridge crew whille I went to
the Captains Ready
Room.If the Captain hadn't lied to us, he would have lived....
We found the Komerex object and beamed back to the ship.Several other
starfleet ships had
set an intercept course.Normally we would've stayed and fought, but we needed
to report back
to the Emperor ASAP.We escaped with little damage...

Mission Briefing: The IKC Hegh'ta has just returned to Klingon Space after
retreiving a piece of the Komerex Weapon from 'ejyo' (Starfleet). We have
now been ordered to Klingon/Romulan Neutral Zone. A romuluSngan (Romulan)
Vessel was reported to be at drift... heading into Klingon Space. It is
unknown if the craft is carrying lifeforms at this time.

picked up while on shore leave. I really wanted to meet Qlmpeq and Pixy very
much, I know they will be homorable warriors as myself. I am now fine and
await our next mission.

IKC Hegh'ta duty log of weapons officer Lagh Kadrea
Stardate:09.07.96

Begin transmission:

We came out of warp when we came upon a romulan sngan ship was drifting in
space. Kurn,Pixy, Nirvana all beamed over to ship to scan for any lifeforms.
We waited patiently on the Hegh'ta for any info from them, when they came out
and started firing on the team who immedialtely beamed back. We fired upon
them and they hit us knocking out all power to engines and weapons and entire
ship, we started to drfit and make repairs. I managed to hit their starboard
side and do some minor damage. They went to warp
and headed to the empire. We managed to follow an ion trail the ship had
left and followed them, after uncloaking I fired the photon torpedos and
managed to completely destroy the ship. One crewman was dead, while two had
been brought on board on put in brige. Not as much a battle as I thought
their would be between us. We have won for now......

Operations Officer's Log, StarDate 9609.07
Today we went to investigete a romuluSngan (Romulan) ship which was addrift
in the romuluSngan/tlhIngan (Klingon) Neutral Zone. As we scanned it from
far away, it appeared to be a double-sized scout ship, but it had barely
enough power to sustain life support. It had twice as much fire power than a
normal romuluSngan scout ship too. When we reached it, Ra'wI Kurn took an
away team over to the romuluSngan ship consisting of himself, lagh (ensign)
Pixy, NiRvAnA, and Sogh (lieutenant) Salvo. They were
ambushed by the romuluSngan crew. We got them back just in time and raised
shields. The romuluSngan ship escaped after disabling our weapons and
engines. I assisted Sogh Salvo in getting engines back online. We chased
them, then cut our own engines and went addrift ourselves, when they borded
us we attacked them and took 2 prisoners and destroyed the romuluSngan ship.

****Begin Log****

The Klingon Defense Force detected a small Romulan vessal heading toward
our Empire, and
were sent to stop it from polluting our space withit's presence.On our way
the Captain went into
sickbay so our CMO, Pixy, could give him his physical.I kept everyone on the
bridge ready for
battle.
When we arrived, we found the Romulan vessal dead in space.I lead an away
team of Nirvana,
Salvo and Pixy to the Romulan vessal.I sent Nirvana to check the Romulan
ship's computer bank
for a flight record and told Salvo to begin repairs on the ship, as it looked
damaged.Pixy and I left
for engineering, where life forms had been detected.
We were quickly ambushed by the Romulan crewman, who had been cowering in
the shadows
like most Romulans do.We killed several before the ship beamed us back
up.They fired on the
Hegh'ta and damaged the weapons and engines.Then, instead of fighting like
warriors, they warp
-ed further into Klingon space.
QImpeq and Salvo repaired the engines and weapons, while Pixy was busy in
sickbay, treating
injured warrors.Bower got the communications working so the Captain could
warn Gowron.
Thanx to the fine our fine crew, we were able to get underway quickly and
chase the Romulan
ship.We tricked into uncloaking by playing dead.They then beamed over into
engineering.There
was a fierce battle, but they were subdued.Meanwhille, Kadrea destroyed their
ship.We captured
two of their boarding party...

Today our mission was to investigate a romuluSngan ship adrift on the border
of tlhIngan space. It was unknown whether the ship was carrying life forms.
I had recently learned that the romuluSngan were developing viral weapons for
use against the Empire, so I vaccinated the entire crew. I gave a full
report on the Hegh'ta's mediacl capabilities to the HoD, and then announced
that I would be beginning annula crew physicals. I would like to commend HoD
Kahless for reporting for his physical on time,
thus setting an example for the rest of the crew. Good health is vital to
success in battle. Every warrior must be in top physical condition.
When we reached the drifting vessel, a boarding party was dispatched
consisting of myself, RawI Kurn, Salvo, and Nirvana. We transported to the
bridge, which was devoid of life. However, I detected faint life signs
coming from the engineering section. While Salvo initiated repairs to
damaged bridge areas, and Nirvana accessed the flight logs, Kurn and I headed
to Engineering to investigate the life signs. When we arrived in
engineering, the romuluSngan came out of hiding and fired on us. We returned
fire, and I managed to kill one before the Hegh'ta beamed us out. Shortly
after we returned, the romuluSngan ship fired on us and then warped into
tlhIngan space. There was damage to several decks, and I was busy treating
casualties for quite a while. When communications were back on-line, HoD
Kahless communicated with Gowron on Qo'noS, and a portion of the tlhIngan
fleet was dispatched to aid us and to find the romuluSngan. In order to get
power to the engines, all crew members were evacuated to the
Bridge and engineering sections. When we caught up with the romuluSngan, we
pretended to be adrift without shields. When they decloaked and beamed over
a boarding party, we raised shields and took the boarding party prisoner.
Fortunately, we only sustained minor casualties in this final engagement.

Most of the crew was granted shore leave while the HoD and I met with the
ra'ghomquv <High Command> to turn over the recovered piece of the Komerex
weapon. It was a short ceremony and the HoD received but a small medal in
recognition of his brilliant victory over the lying DIvI' petaQ' <Federation
blankety-blank>. Apparently, the yejquv <High Council> has decided to try to
keep the rediscovery of the Komerex quiet until such time as the entire
weapon is once more in our possession. As a rule, I
cannot stand bureaucrats, but I suppose they have a point this time.
::dryly:: I shall endeavor not to let my surprise overwhelm me...
After the formal ceremony, the crew held its own celebration in a hall by
the space port. It was a much more festive occasion than that stuffy council
meeting and the warnog and bloodwine flowed freely.

The HoD extended our crew's shore leave while Kadrea and I met with the
scientists who were beginning the study of the Komerex. We gave them what
information we could, but we had not had it in our possession long enough to
make a truly in-depth study of it. While we were there, we were also given a
tour of the non-classified areas of the research facility. Quite impressive!

Kadrea and I left the facility confident that the Komerex was in good
hands...and more than slightly envious of the equipment available to those
assigned to the facility. Not that either of us would chose to join their
ranks...there is nothing to compare with the life of a klingon officer aboard
a space-going vessel!

I had been busy with official business the last two tours of duty and had
not really had any shore leave so I asked for and was granted a short leave
of absence. I used the time to attend my sister's son Tosk's nenghep <Age of
Ascension> ceremony. As he is the second son and did not inherit the family
bat'elth, I indulged myself and brought him a finely crafted blade of his
own. The look on his face when I gave it to him was, for me, beyond price.
I admit that I have always favored Tosk over his older brother Karn, and I
couldn't help but be proud of him when he bested his brother in an exhibition
of dueling during the feasting that took place after the ritual. If only
his father had survived Khitomer to see this day...

We received a new crew member at last minute Tage, we headed toward the rest
of the romulan ships after destroying one. Pixy had her hands full with
wounded which seemed to make her very happy.A few on board were injured when
the ship fired on us before destroying them.Hod always gets up and leaves
when things start to happen, kurn usually takes over, why i have not yet
figured out why. A captain should be with his crew, not in his room off the
bridge.Kesara and Qimpeq did an excellent job. QImpeq was
promoted which she richly deserved.Qapla'

...The romuluSngan vessal had just been destroyed by our disruptors.We
picked up minor damage from the shock wave.Pixy was handeling the casualties
in sickbay <better known as
Health bay!! >.The Captain had just received orders from Gowron to rendevous
with three other
tlhIngan ships near the neHmaH <neutral zone>.
We were on our way when QImpeq picked up several anomalies on the
sensors.He told us
they were most likely cloaked romuluSngan vessals.We moved to
investigate.Kesara picked up
a very disturbing reading on the sensors.Fifty plus romuluSngan vessals
decloaking.
We informed the High Council and moved out of range at warp one.It looks
like we have another war on our hands, and I know the Hegh'ta will be
ready....

Our mission began with the promotion of LaghQImpeq to BSgh. Qa'pla,
QImpeq!!!!
Immediately following the festivities, the romuluSngan ship exploded and made
a complete mess of my healthbay, not to mention the injuries caused by sudden
impact, flying debris, and explosive decompression on several of the lower
decks. Several crew members with severe injuries were placed in stasis until
I could have my full medical staff in attendance, and two of our honored
crewmates took their places in the Black Fleet.
Just as I was finishing up with surgery, we fired on an anomaly and
discovered that it was a cloaked Romulan Warbird. Suddenly the entire
Romulan invasion fleet decloaked in front of us. We quickly cloaked and went
to full reverse...I may never get to finish my bloodwine.

Qu'QonoS <duty log>

::tagh QonoS:: <begin log>

The romulan ship exploded causing minor damage to our secondary hull
and propelling the Hegh'ta away from the center of the blast. The HoD went
to his ready room to communicate this latest development to the High Command.
Rawl Kurn directed me to scan for other romulan vessels. The scans showed no
other ships in the area, but they did turn up three ion trails that matched
standard output for romulan battlecruisers. I advised rawl Kurn of this and
he immediately directed Lagh Kadrea to set course
and follow the ion trails.
Shortly after we had embarked on our pursuit of the other vessels, the
HoD returned to the bridge and ordered a course change. We were now to head
to the Klingon-Romulan border where we would rendezvous with the IKC Pagh,
IKC Burok and the IKC Fek'lhr. QImpeq detected two shadows just inside the
neutral zone that he believed were cloaked romulan ships. HoD Kahless gave
the order to alert the other three klingon ships and then cloak and fire upon
the shadows. The first ship sustained heavy damage
to the starboard side and decloaked. Before they had a chance to fire uponb
us; we destroyed them.
The HoD directed us to proceed to the other shadow and fire upon it.
As we closed on the vessel, my scans turned up 50+ similar anomalies in the
area. Apparently we were in the midst of a large part of the Star Empire's
fleet! I advised Kahless of this <after quickly double-checking my scans> and
ordered full reverse. He advised the other three klingon ships and directed
the helm officer to take us out of the area just as the romulans began
uncloaking. It was *not* a pretty sight...

Operations Officer's Log, StarDate 9610.05

Yesterday, we set off toward the romuluSngan (Romulan) fleet. On the way
there, though, we encountered an unidentified Klingon b'rel class bird of
pray. On it were four Klingons and an unkown lifeform. An away team
consisting of Sogh ra'wI (lieutenant commander) Kesara, wa'DIch Sogh (first
lieutenant) Tamara, and lagh (ensign) Pixy rescued the Klingons, but when
they neared the unknown lifeform's position, the tlhIngan Hubbeq Dev Qavatlh
(IKC Krovatleh) decloaked and armed it's disruptors. We left
the scene for the romuluSngan fleet's position at maximum warp. Half the
way there, we encountered the Qovatlh's debris...

At the end of the mission today, HoD (captain) Kahless promoted Pixy to bID
Sogh (lieutenant, junior grade).

We were schedueled to meet with the main battle group to engage the
Romulan
Fleet today, however we ran into a few problems along the way.First of all,
we found
a Klingon ship floating in space that didn't answer any of our hails.
Kesara lead an away team onboard.They found several injured Klingons and
beamed
them back to the ship.Meamwhile, another ship decloaked and began firing on
the
damaged one.We beamed back the away team and returned fire.
At this point, a certain officer who was new on the ship began to act in a
shall we
say, less then appropriate manner.I decided to have QImpeq escort her to the
brig
instead of killing her.After all, it was her first day on the job...

***Begin Log***

The sudden withdrawl of the Romulan fleet signaled the
end the latest Klingon-Romulan war.It was a little suprising
to all, considering that, if the war had continued, it is more
then likely that the Romulans could have won. At any rate,
negotiations are taking place at a neutral site.
Since the war is over, the crew of the Hegh'ta was given
a chance for some shore leave today on the planet that
station four is orbiting.The entire crew beamed down for some
much need R and R, when a serious earthquake struck the city.
The HoD and some of the crew were injured.We were beamed
back aboard to find that an unknown alien ship was attacking us.
We tried hailing it several times before opening fire.I sent QImpeq
and an away team over to find out who was operating the ship.
The away team was unsuccesfull and the alien ship began to fire
on us once more..

Today, we were given the opportunity to take some leave at the planet around
which Station 4 is orbiting because the romuluSngans (Romulans) have
withdrawn from DIvI' (Federation) space. When we got there and everyone was
on the planet, though, the HoD (Captain) was attacked. I was the first to
come near him. He had been jumped by three Ha'DIbaHmey (three animals) I
attacked them and slit one's throat. Then, the rest joined in the fight.
Eventually, three more appeared. I punched my fist through
one of their heads and stabbed another in the belly. Right after the last
attacker was killed, earthquakes started. Some rocks fell on the HoD and me
after everyone else (other than SmileyLady, the Doc.) had left. I,
fortunately, was not injured. I pushed the rocks off of my self as the Doc.
neared. I pulled the rocks off of the HoD and had us beamed back as the Doc.
tended to his wounds. Once we were on the ship again, I ran to the bridge
and assumed command until the ra'wI (Commander), who was
elsewhere on the planet, got there. We were reading cha' (two) alien ships
orbiting the planet firing at us. I put us in front of them and asked them
what their purpose was. There was no reply. Then the ra'wI arrived. After
many attempts to raise them on a comm. channel, we opened fire. We destroyed
one. Then, the ra'wI asked me to assemble an away team. I did so and we
went over to the alien ship which was left. There were 28 life signs on the
alien ship. We started our way up stairs which
lead to the enemy's bridge three stories up. We killed four aliens on our
way. Then, as we were half the way there, the Hegh'ta beamed us back. The
enemy ship had begun firing again...

I arrived aboard the Hegh'ta last among the away times. During the battle
with the unidentified aliens, I reported faithfully to the Captain and
prepared boarding parties. When the aliens shields had fallen I and three
security members board the ship. I sent one warrior with the engineering
chief to inspect the alien technology for our possible use. The other
members of the boarding party acted thoughtlessly, killing every alien
encoutered. At the Academy Grele' Tog had stated that the Klingon
policy of no prisoners works well if we wish to learn nothing, but the Art
of War teaches us to "know our enemy better than we know ourselves." At
least the wounded alien could have been recovered for interrogation but now
we have no idea (since their engines overload) who we fought, what their
plans are or what threat they pose to the Empire.

Operations Officer's Log, StarDate 9620.26

...One of the enemy ships beamed over a very large invasion party; 36 aliens.
They must have combined forces between their ships, because there were only
28 aliens on the ship the away team investigated. Before ship's security
could kill them all off, they kidnapped HoD Qey'lIS (Captain Kahless). We
targeted their shield generators and fired a few photons at them. This had
no effect on their shields. Lieutenant, Junior Grade Uhura opened hailing
frequencies to the alien ship. They responded and
told us that they wanted us to open our computers to them. They said that
if we didn't, they would kill the HoD. We prepared a virus to send over to
them via a comm. channel which would lower their shields. We did not send
them our technology, but a bunch of useless crap information. I lead an away
team consisting of lagh (ensign) Timelot, lagh CICAC, and myself to the alien
ship once their shields were lowered. When we got there, we made our way to
the enemy's bridge and I ran in, disruptor
blazing, and HoHta' chorgh (killed 8) aliens (everyone on the jagh meHchaj
(enemy's bridge) excepting only the HoD and myself). We took the HoD and
lagh CICAC, who had been shot, and beamed back to the Hegh'ta just after I
shot their computers. When we got back to the Hegh'ta, the alien ship blew
up and we quickly afterward destroyed the remaining alien ship. lagh CICAC
was taken to the Medical Bay.

We began this sim still in a stand-off with the mysterious aliens who
made an unprovoked attack on Station 5.The HoD was still in Health
bay with battle injures, so I was in command on the bridge.
I ordered serveral more attempts at communication with the alien
vessals, all of which were unsuccesfull.Then we opened fire and were
succesfull in causing moderate damage.They were able to destroy our
shields and beam over boarding parties.Although the crew defeated them
very easily, they were succesfull in abducting our HoD.
CICAC and QImpeq came up with a computer virus to disable the aliens
shields long enough to rescue the HoD.They ran the program and QImpeq
led an away team over to the alien ship and rescued the HoD, who had
already succeded in killing thier entire bridge crew....

Mission Briefing:

We have one of the 7 missing Komerex Weapon Items. We must locate the other
items to return the balance of power back to the Klingon Empire. We aren't
sure how we will locate the rest of the items... but, IT MUST BE DONE!

Backround:

Approx. 1300 years ago the first Klingon geographical states formed. Prior
to this time the civilization of Klinzhai was a group of loosely assembled
tribes held together by the strength of individual leaders. Some of these
early states were sea based, hugh fleets of interconnected sea platforms,
which eventually became submerged cities. Early on there began the rivalry
between the land based dwellers (Komerex Klingon) and the sea based
populations (Komerex dexiklingon). This rivalry continues today
between the Naval and Marine forces of the Empire. The final war united the
Klingon people when the Komerex dexiklingon set off it's single nuclear
device against the Komerex Klingon. This so enraged the Komerex Klingon that
they were able to rally and destroy the Komerex dexiklingon before it could
build another warhead. This led to a coalition of military leaders that held
power until approx. 300 years ago. At that time a science officer in the
newly formed space administration proposed the
development of a base station to orbit around Klinzai. All other military
leaders looked at each others planetary holdings for conquest, not into the
stars. The other leaders laughed and ignored the scientist. However, by
diverting his families funds, he was able to build the space station and
place it in orbit. Next he had everyone involved in it's construction killed
(over 2,000). Then he delivered his one demand to the military council. Make
him sole Emperor or suffer the consequences of a
matter/anti-explosion in close orbit. While the council members were willing
to risk it, their subordinates were not. The people put their leaders to the
sword and swore fealty to the new Emperor. What followed was one of the
bloodiest purges in Klingon history. The Komerex Weapon was split into 7
pieces. We can only hope one day it will fall back into Klingon Hands.

We have started our quest to bring honor and glory to the Empire!
The HoD has relayed orders to us straight from Gowron.We are to
locate all seven of the Komerex object and assemble them into the
most mightiest weapon since the time of Kahless!! We have also
heard rumors that a Federation startship, their flagsship, is also
looking for the Komerex pieces.We will have many glourious battles
in this quest...
We began our search on the secret Maqui outpost of Verdenz 3.It
was rumored that a they recovered a piece.We entered orbit and went
to the surface in a shuttle, posing as Maqui hopefulls and general
Cardassian haters.
The Maqui leader believed us and escorted us to a sleeping unit.I can
tell the crew is anxious for battle, and I have a feeling that battle is
excatly
what they will get in a few days...

Before the mission started today, I was honored by the HoD Qey'lIS (Captain
Kahless) by being promoted to the rank of Sogh.

We set course to Verendez 3 near the DS9 Federation Outpost. When we got
there, HoD Qey'lIS damaged a shuttle to bring us down to the surface so we
wouldn't draw suspition. We were to act as if our ship had been destroyed.
Once we got to the surface, we met Ro Laren, an ex-Starfleet personel, and
were escorted to our unit by guards...

This week we continued our mission on Verdenz 3.The HoD ordered us to
split into groups.I took QImpeq and mangHom (cadet) Aegeus with me and
we went to a small mine outside the colony.I had detected some tricorder
reading which might suggest the location of the Komerex object to be
somewhere
down there.I ordered QImpeq and Aegeus to stand guard outside and I went
in alone.
Unfortunatly, it turned out that the sensor readings were just a fake to
throw
off people like me.I left the mine and found out that QImpeq and Aegeus had
left to assist mangHom Joseph, who had apparently found the real location of
the artifact.
I quickly went to their position and entered a hole in the ground that they
believed
contained the artifact.Inside, Joseph had found a long corridor.I went down
the corridor
with him and Aegeus, whil QImpeq and our new CMO, Lucdaz, investigated
another
secondary corridor.
Aegeus and Joseph and I discovered the artifact at the end of the shaft and
began
to pull it out.However, the Maqui had discovered us and were now attempting
to seal
the entrance.We made it out, but were forced back inside by the Maqui's
constant
fire.Then they sealed us in.Luckily, the HoD had made contact with Cicac on
the ship
and beamed us all aboard..

Sogh QImpeq (Lieutenant K'mpec)

...Once we got there (our camp unit on Verendez 3), HoD Qey'lIS and ra'wI
qurn (Commander Kurn) began issuing orders. They commanded mangHom (Cadet)
Joseph to take some scans of the Maquis Colony. And for mangHom wIgh
(Aegeus) and I to go with him to scan some mines east of the colony in which
he reported some mysterious readings which he thought might be the piece of
the Komerex weapon. The HoD went to Ro's camp When we got there, the mangHom
and I stayed outside and guarded the mine while ra'wI qurn
went inside to investigate. While he was inside, 3 Maquis arrived and
attacked us. The mangHom killed one and, though I was stabbed in the leg, I
killed the other two. It turned out that the readings which led ra'wI qurn
to the mines were a decoy. Once the battle was over, I recieved a report
from mangHom Joseph that he had found the real artifact under the gound of
the camp. I took mangHom wIgh to magnHom Joseph's position. I had to help
Joseph remove th latch which closed the underground
corridor. ra'wI qurn arrived after the latch was off. Everyone was there
now except the HoD (lagh [Ensign] Lucindaz, mangHom wIgh, mangHom Joseph,
ra'wI qurn, and I). We all went down the latch and searched the corridor.
After a while, it split into two subcorridors and ra'wI qurn and the mangHoms
searched one while lagh Lucindaz and I searched the other. The other group
discovered the piece o the weapon and HoD Qey'lIS contacted lagh Cicac aboard
the Hegh'ta who beamed us all off the planet.

Assistant Engineer's Duty Log, StarDate 9611.16
Lagh Val (Ensign Vol)

We were at Verendez 3 to recover a piece of the Komerex weapon.
The HoD and the ra'wI Ordered mangnHom Joseph to scan the Maquis Colony.
While the ra'wI, the sogh, and I scouted some mines to the east where odd
readings were being received. These readings were thought to be a piece of
the weapon. The sogh and I stood guard outside while the ra'wI went in. We
were soon greeted by 3 maquis. I killed one of them and the sogh killed the
other two, in spite of his leg injury.
After the battle we received report that the signs from inside
the mine were fake and that mangnHom Joseph had found the real location of
the artifact. We went to his aid and the sogh blew off the latch. Soon we
were joined by the ra'wI and lagh Lucindaz. We all descended and split into
two groups, the ra'wI, mangHom Joseph, and I, and the sogh and lagh Lucindaz,
to search the split passage. Our group discovered the real artifact and the
Maquis tried to seal us in. By that time the HoD had
contacted the ship and we were beamed aboard.

Today we were sent on a routine patrol of the Federation neutral zone.We
sent the two pieces of the Komerex object back to Quo'noS for study.We will
continue our search as soon as the results of the study are in.
In the meantime, we received a message from the Federation.It was one of
their admirals telling the fleet that another Borg Cube had been sighted and
for all available ships to plot interecpt courses.
We moved to intercept as well.We dropped out of warp and decloaked just
out of weapons range.The battle wasn't going well for the Federation.We moved
in and began firing.The Borg locked a tractor beam on us and began drilling
through
our warp core with an energy weapon.We tried every trick in the book, but
couldn't
get anywhere.
Then the USS Enterprise dropped out of warp.Captain Picard came on the comm
line
and ordered us to concentrate our fire on a non-esstential part of the Borg
Vessal.
Lagh Kalor did so, and it worked.We managed to destroy the Borg Cube.However,
they launched some kind of sphere.It dissapeared into an energy vortex.The
Enterprise
chased it down and destroyed it.
Now, we are on a course for home.We recieved heavy damage in the
attack.BSgh
Cicac is busy repairing it.A number of warriors are in Healthbay healing
under the expert
care of Lagh Lucdaz.Overall though, we are still in one piece and I doubt the
Borg will
ever dare attack the Federation or Klingon Empire for some time...

We warped home from our battle with the Borg under cloak.We passed several

ships.The last of the resistance fighters.We all banded together for a last
attack on the
Borg.

the USS Enterprise. Picard informed us that the federation had engaged
the Borg. We proceeded to the Enterprise's location and were quickly
thrown into battle. As the Borg ship was destroyed, it released a
sphere into a temporal disruption, and the Enterprise went after it.
As we repair our damage, several warriors are in sickbay, but quickly
recovering.

Assistant Engineer's Duty Log, StarDate 9611.30
Lagh val (Ensign Vol)

Our mission today was to patrol the Neutral Zone. On our way
through we received a Priority One distress call from a Federation Admiral's
ship. It turned out that the Borg had initiated an assault on Earth. We
engaged the Borg but the one- sided fight quickly got the Warp Core drilled
by some Borg enegy weapon. Just when we were about to be destroyed, a
Federation Captain named Jean-Luc Picard arrived in the Enterprise and
commanded all ships to fire on a certain pair of coordinates on the Borg
ship. It was sonn destroyed. The Ship, upon its destruction, jettisoned a
sphere-like object. The object opened a temporal rift and went back into
time. The Enterprise followed it and destroyed it. We are now on our way
back. The Hegh'ta is quite damaged but as I record this log, the repair teams
are repairing the Hegh'ta.

The Hegh'ta is under attack by the Borg. As I look at the
Engineering section for what will be the last time I can only think what
would have been if the Enterprise would have defeated the Borg. We found a
scant few Ferengi and Romulan ships after returning from the original Borg
attack. Apparently, this is the firepower we would have against the
Earth/Borg ship that we are fighting now. We are now in a life and death
struggle against the Borg. I doubt we will survive. At least we won't be

Today, we recieved a distress call from a Federation admiral's ship. We went
to respond and found that they were in a heavy battle with a borg vessel.
The Admiral's ship was destroyed and Captain Picard of the U.S.S. Enterpise E
took command of the fleet. We lended a hand. Picard ordered us all to fire
on an unassential part of the cube. Then, about a minute later, the borg
cube launched a sphere as it was being destroyed. That sphere was some type
of temperal regulator and went back in time...the
Enterprise followed and destroyed it.

The Hegh'ta sustained heavy damage put was too tough do die. The repair
teams are working hard on 'er as I record this log. She'll be good-as-new in
no time flat.

Acting Chief Engineer's Log, Araiye (Lagh Ace) Stardate 9612.14 (?)

Our mission concerning the mysterious artifact continues. I returned to the
Hegh'ta after a leave of absense to find them in a state of general confusion
concerning a seven-piece artifact. Rawl Kurn ordered a complete analysis of
the two pieces of the artifact that were in our possesion, and after a
preliminary scan, we decided to connect them. The joined artifact pieces
emitted an energy blast that injured Rawl Kurn and knocked the remaining
crewmembers backwards. A scan of the artifact showed that the
composition was mainly rock, but complex crystal patterns allowed the rock
to create and focus extreme amounts of energy. Although the energy blast was
only strong enough to minorly injure Rawl Kurn, the artifact has great
potential. It is my professional theory that the full artifact will have
immense powers and will be nearly invincible. We still do not know how to
harness the artifact's powers, but some experiments concerning the engines
and the weapons should be pursued. We can hook the artifact up
to certain ship systems, and that may enable us to use the artifact's energy
more efficiently. This theory has yet to be tested. We used the artifact in
tandem with the weapons systems, but due to other problems at the time, no
descriptive readings were taken regarding the artifact and its power.
The mission turned ugly when a Romulan Warbird de-cloaked close to the
Hegh'ta. We had just taken engines off-line, and the Romulans caught us
completely unawares. We attempted to defend ourselves, but our weapons were
no match for those of the Romulan ship. Finally, we decided to hook the
artifact into the weapons systems. Before we had the chance to set everything
up properly, however, a coolant leak appeared in Main Engineering. On the
bridge, control panels began to blow out. In addition, a warp
core breach was in progress. I managed to dump the warp core, and the bridge
crew escaped to the battle bridge. We managed to fire one artifact-enhanced
shot at the Romulan ship, which struck home. Our warp core exploded near the
Romulan ship and severely disabled it, decimating over half of the Warbird
with the explosion.
While an away team surveyed the wreckage of the Romulan Warbird, I tried
to start repairs on the Hegh'ta. I vented off the coolant in Main Engineering
and informed Rawl Kurn of our need for a new warp core. We contacted a nearby
Klingon outpost and they agreed to tow us in. The away team discovered a
third piece of the artifact. They also found a Romulan survivor, but because
of our desperate need for repairs, we left him aboard his ship. When the away
team returned to the Hegh'ta, Rawl Kurn ordered
me to destroy the Warbird.
We now have 3 pieces of the artifact aboard our ship. Hopefully, furthur
scans and analysis will reveal more about how the artifact works.

We departed from the warzone in sector 001 and set a curse back to Quo'noS.
As repairs were underway, I asked QImpeq, Val, and Ace (a.k.a Lagh Acceria)
to join me in the Science Bay to analyze the two pieces of the ancient
Komerex
object which we had already recovered.
We made little progress untill I ordered QImpeq to join the two pieces.At
first, it
seemed that nothing was going to happen.However, Ace detected an energy
build-
up inside the object.It then proceeded to fire an energy burst in the Bay.We
were
all knocked to the ground, and I was injured.Lagh Lucdaz came in from
HealthBay
to tend to my injuries.QImpeq and the others detected another energy
build-up.This
one was stronger then the last.We evacuated the Science Bay and QImpeq put a
force field between us and the object before it fired again.The force field
held, but just
barely.The magnitude of the blasts were getting stronger.Fully recovered, I
ordered
the Komerex object dismanteled.
However, Ace believed that there was a way to harness this energy for our
engines.
She and Val began hooking the object into our warp core.We were ready to
begin the
trial runs when a Romulan warbird decloaked in front of us.We barely had time
to raise
the shields before it began an attack.Our weapons had little effect.
We took heavy damage.Somehow they had found a way to increase their shield
and
weapons power by 100%.Desperatly, I ordered Ace and Val to hook the object
into
the weapons array.They did so, but not before we had to evacuate the brudge
crew to
the secondary bridge.Lucdaz took tactical and I ordered her to fire as soon
as the weapon
was ready.She was able to disable the Romulan ship.But we had new problems.
A coolant leak in engineering had developed during the battle.Ace informed
me that
a warp core breach was in progress.She and Val began a manuel warp core
ejection.
QImpeq moved us away from the core before it exploded.
I was very curious as to how the Romulans had increased their weapons
power so
much, so I ordered QImpeq to begin an investigation.He beamed aborad the
Romulan
vessal with Val and Lucdaz.Whille onboard they discovered another piece of
the artifact
hooked into the Romulans warp core.They beamed it back onboard and we set a
course
back to Quo'noS at full impulse.

We were headed home to Qo'noS today when HoD vang qurn (acting Captain Kurn)
ordered lagh val, lagh Ace, and myself to the Science lab to have a look at
the pieces of the Komerex we had discovered. Everything was going fine until
HoD vang qurn ordered me to attach the two pieces. We found that they could
be pieced together but when we did, the faint energy readings from both of
them combined and exponetialized. A very large and unexpected energy burst
knocked us all to the floor. Then another came.
I told the computer to establish a level 1 force field around it. I did so
and it barely held. Once qurn was, again, conscious, I ordered everyone out
of the lab while I attempted to dismantle it. I had the computer lower the
force field and I approached the object(s). It got off one more shot which
hit my left shoulder before I was able to dismantle it but I'm fine. qurn
suggested that the Komerex may be able to be harnessed into our warp core.
Ace experimented with this. While he was doing so,
a D'deridex class Romulan Warbird decloaked outside weapons range. We went
to evasive maneuvers, then they opened fire without even stating their
business. Once we'd been hit and gone through a few volleys with them, it
was discovered by us that they had increased their shield and weapon output
by more than 100%. This boggled us. We were forced off the main bridge by a
minor hull fracture caused by the fight. We were on the secondary bridge
trying to stay alive when Ace finally figured it out.
This was no time for a "pre-launch" sequence so we dove in, eyes closed,
hoping for the best. Ace routed the energy to our weapons and we were able
to disable the Romulan vessel...but not quick enough --- Ace discovered after
the fight that a warp core breach was already in progress. We had to
manually eject the warp core. Using thrusters, I managed to get us far
enough away but the Romulans weren't so lucky. Having ALL their engines
disabled, the did not get so far. Half their ship was blown away.

HoD vang qurn ordered me to assemble an away team to investigate the increase
in the Warbird's power. I took lagh Lucindaz and lagh val with me over to
the alien vessel which, luckily, still had auxilury life support. After
roaming for a while, we happed upon their Science bay and discovered, other
than 3 Romulans, one more piece of the "puzzle." We beamed back to the
Hegh'ta and repairs began after the Empire's, now three, pieces of the
Komerex were stored in our Science Bay.

Unfortunately, we now have to install a new warp core or keep at impulse-only
for the rest of the Hegh'ta's commision.

Lagh Val (Ensign Vol)

Today, we were experimenting with the two pieces of the Komerex weapon.
When we joined them, a large amount of energy discharged and hit Acting
Captain Kurn. We had the pieces disassembled and Ace found a way to harness
the power into our engines. While we were putting the weapon into our
engines, a Romulan Bird-of-Prey decloaked ahead of us. We fired and fired but
to no avail. At last, with the Hegh'ta being pounded, we put the weapon into
our weapons, and disabled the Romulan ship. Another problem
then arose, a warp core breach was in progress. We ejected the core and the
blast blew away half of the Romulan ship. After inspecting the Romulan ship
with an away team, we found another piece of the weapon. We then started
heading back to the Homeworld at impulse power, with another piece of the
weapon and more knowledge of how to use them.

Duty Log of Lagh Ace, Stardate 9612.21, Acting Chief Engineer

Our mission was certainly quite interesting. We departed from dock with
a glistening new warp core that functioned beautifully. Since the outpost
aided the engineering staff with repairs, the Hegh'ta was in near-perfect
condition. We continued our search for pieces of the Komerex Object. We
learned that a nearby Romulan colony was rumored to be the home of the fourth
Komerex Object piece, and so we cloaked and entered Romulan space. We hoped
to take the colony by surprise and escape with the Komerex
Object and our lives.
The plan did not go as smoothly as planned. SoghQlmpeq and Lagh Val
transported to the surface of the planet disguised as Romulans. Ra'wl Kurn
ordered me to hook the Komerex Object to the weapons and shields, so that
they were enhanced by the artifact's power. I made the needed adjustments to
the systems and then joined Ra'wl Kurn on the bridge. We scanned for Romulan
ships and found none. On the surface, Qlmpeq and Val worked their way towards
the coordinates of the fourth Komerex Object component.
Things began to go awry when a Romulan Warbird de-cloaked off of our
bow. Although they couldn't detect us, we could no longer retrieve the away
team without becoming ebroiled in a firefight. For some unknown reason, the
Komerex Object began to create an energy surge. If I had not de-activated the
three pieces, the Object could have emitted a damaging power surge. We were
then left with our original weapons and shields, which were no match for a
Romulan Warbird.
The Warbird transported a security team to the surface, obviously to
retrieve the Komerex Object themselves. The away team hurried and reached the
Object first, but the Romulan security detachment was close behind. A battle
was inevitable. To make the situation even worse, our long-range transporters
failed. It was impossible to retrieve the away team without exposing
ourselves. Since we no longer had Komerex-enhanced systems, the Warbird would
have a great advantage. The only way to beam the away
team aboard would be to enter the planet's atmosphere, which would
counteract the cloak and make us vulnerable to attack.
On my suggestion, we hooked the Komerex Object back up to the weapons
systems... just the first two artifact pieces, not the third. This way, I
reasoned, the Komerex would work as it had previously. The third piece would
remain unattached and therefore would not overload our systems. With the
newly enhanced weapons grid online, we entered the atmosphere.
On the planet's surface, Qlmpeq and Val were embroiled in a terrible
firefight. They killed many Romulans, but more and more seemed to come. They
both reported that they wouldn't be able to repel their attackers for much
longer. In orbit, the Warbird detected us and began to fire. We sustained
significant damage but managed to beam the away team aboard. We returned fire
and severely crippled the Warbird.
However, despite the brilliance of our rescue, the Warbird's original
salvo caused the Hegh'ta to lose altitude control. We began to fall towards
the planet's surface. While Qlmpeq manned the helm, I worked furiously to
restore the controls. Finally, I managed to re-route enough power, and
altitude control was restored. Qlmpeq pulled up, but not before the lower
decks of the Hegh'ta scraped along the planet's surface. We barely escaped.
The Warbird, which had exploded after a few more shots from our
weapons, wasn't able to pursue.
We now have a fourth piece of the Komerex object, which should indeed
prove interesting to study. We will have to effect repairs on some of the
Hegh'ta's systems as well as rebuild portions of the lower decks. However,
due to the surprisingly small amount of casualties, the mission went
extremely well. We now have four pieces of the Komerex puzzle with which to
tinker.

Sogh wa'DIch QImpeq, son of QotaH

We had heard rumors of a piece of the Komerex weapon on a small, near NZ
border, Romulan world. We went to investigate this under cloak. lagh Ace
attempted to load our three pieces into the weapons and engines. He did so
successfully. lagh val and I went down to the planet to locate, if the
rumors were true, the piece. We generally localized (sort of a redundant
clause but you all know what I mean) some odd energy readings then beamed
down to that general location disguised as ::shudders:: Romulans.
We localized the piece even more and went toward there. Then, when we were
almost there, a few Romulan officers approached the location. It seemed we
had some competition. We headed on past it then came back around and slew
the officers. We picked up the Komerex piece then asked to be recieved to
the Hegh'ta. But it seemed the three pieces overloaded the system and the
Hegh'ta had no long range transport function available. So, we had to fight
off about 30 Romulans while we waited for them to
getinto the atmosphere far enough to pick us up. When they got in range,
they beamed us back and Ace removed one of the pieces of the Komerex from the
systems. We harnessed their energy successfully and killed the opposing
Romulan ship. Then, we cloaked and headed back home.

After we had been cloaked, the ra'wI rewarded my service with a promotion to
Sogh wa'DIch (First Lieutenant). He also promoted val to bID Sogh
(Lieutenant, Junior Grade).

Today we went to a Romulan World near the Neutral Zone to get another piece
of the Komerex weapon. Sogh wa'dIch and I were altered to look like Romulans
in an attempt to obtain the weapon from a village on the planet where the odd
energy power fluctuations were found. Once we had beamed down I was able to
trace the fluctuations more. We followed and fought Romulans also after the
piece. The Hegh'ta had to come down into the atmosphere to get us, but they
retrieved us, and the piece.

Operations Manager's Log, StarDate 9701.18
Sogh wa'DIch QImpeq, son of QotaH

We had orders today to go to Space Station K7 and submit to tests.
Unfortunately, when we got there, K7 was gone and there was something wrong
with the star. Suddenly, we got caught in something. I think it was the
collapse of a star or a nova. Anyway, we were caught in this strong
gravitational pull, I think, and we encountered some Romulans. I guess they
were caught in the pull too. They just...decloaked right there near us. We
tried firing at them, but they were "up stream." The torpedoes came
right back at us. The deflectors got scrabbled up in the "winds." But,
since we were "down stream," their torpedoes hit us. We sustained some
damage, but it was minor. Then, out of no where, the Romulans, somehow, got
out of the "well." ra'wI' qurn ordered an investigation on how they got out
and bID Sogh val determined that there were fluctuations in the gravity well.
He got the coordinates of the next decrease in strength and we moved there
with thrusters and got out. We are now en route to the
Romulan ship...

We had been sent to Station K-7 to undergo tests, but as we
reached the coordinates of K-7, we found nothing. Further tests yielded
nothing, until a star collapsed, creating a gravity well. Helm controls would
not repond and we were pulled toward the well. Reverse thrusters only slowed
us a fraction. A Romulan ship appeared, and to Romulans beamed onto the
bridge. Before we could contain them, they injected HoD Kahless with
something.Leaving the bridge crew to handle the Romulans and the
gravity well, I and the HoD went to Healthbay. In the Healthbay, I ran
tests and more tests on the HoD. Eventually I discovered that the Romulans
injected Hod Kahless with an experimental Tal Shiar drug designed to keep a
person aware of everything around him, but give the appearance of death.
Ra'wl Kurn, Sogh Qlmpeq, and BSgh val were able to free us from the gravity
well and Hod Kahless gradually recovered, though with some side affects.
After we were completly clear of the gravity well, and the HoD
had recovered, I was promoted to the rank of BSogh.

I came aboard and started at helm and operations. I began and set
course for our patrol area at warp3. The ship had susstained heavy damage in
a pervious battle. I was running everywhere is seemed.
I was called to enigneering where I worked on Gen's 3 and 4 also
working on the power flow tring to clear it up and make it work faster and
better. I was able to accomplish some of this. Gen 3 & 4 now are up and power
distrubution is higher than it was.
I went to the bridge and was shortly called to escort HoD Kahless to
the brig. I arrived and helped Lucdaz carry him into the cell. I left and ran
back to the bridge.
On the bridge we found a Romulan Vessel in front of us so we eased up
on it getting into Weapons range and then we were hailed. Kurn and a Romulan
were talking for awhile. Then they fired on us tring to destroy the Brig and
the HoD so we moved around and dodged what fire we could fortuantly the HoD
and Lucdaz got out before they penatrated the Shields and Blew it up. The
Romulan then Left in a hurry.
I then Suggested we go to Dock and get repairs we need badly.

Duty Log

***Begin Log***

Today the crew started extensive repairs on the ship and we recieved orders
to
head to the Romulan Border to begin our patol route. BSgh Cicac informed us
that
the ship couldn't take over warp 3, so that is how fast we headed out.
The HoD was still recovering in HealthBay from his disasterous encounter
with some
old Romulan friends, so I was in command on the bridge. BSgh Lucdaz was able
to
wake the HoD. He was mad about something and terrorized HealthBay until
Lucdaz
was able to give him a sedative.
I went down there immediatly before she woke him up again. As soon as she
did, the
HoD attacked me, thinking that I had challenged him. We fought for sometime
in HealthBay,
but finally the HoD collapsed. Lucdaz moved him into the brig under my orders
and I
returned to the Bridge to find a Romulan ship decloaking.
The Captain of this Romulan ship was the same who poisioned our HoD and he
scanned
the ship looking for him. He found him in the brig and attacked it. Lucdaz
and the HoD
were trapped in there but managed to escape. We took heavy damage until the
Romulan
had convinced himself that our HoD was dead. The cowards warped away from
us..
Several members of the crew have vowed revenge on the Romulan cowards, and
I have no
doubt that some day we will catch up with them and finish the battle from
where it stopped.
For now, though, we are headed for Station 6 for major repairs...

We resumed patrol of the border at Warp 3 on our standard route. HoD
Kahless, in sickbay, awakened in a rage over the Romulan who drugged him. I
gave him the limit of sedatives and he fell asleep again. Later Rawl Kurn had
me wake him again. Rawl Kurn tried to restrain the HoD from breaking anybody
or anything, and the HoD took it as a challenge. They fought, and then the
HoD relapsed. I cleared the drugs of his system and Lagh Zarek arrived to
help me move him to the brig, under orders from Rawl
Kurn. Zarek returned to the bridge and I stayed to monitor the HoD, who had
awakened in his cell. Soon a Romulan ship decloaked and scanned the ship.
They targeted their weapons on the brig and destroyed it. Fortunately the HoD
and I were able to escape. HoD Kahless went to the bridge in time to see the
Romulan cowards warp away. We are on our way to get assistance with repairs.

...we caught up with the HoD batlhbe' romuluSngan ghaH (Romulan captain
without honor) after performing major on-board repairs. On the way the
cloaking device was out, there were a great number of problems in
Engineering, and the HoD was on a health bed in the Health Bay suffering from
a poison extracted into him by the batlhbe' romuluSngan HoD ghaH. I got the
cloak up while Engineering worked hard on other things and the HoD and ra'wI'
battled in the Health Bay after which the HoD was put in a holding
cell because it seams that there was also a yab SoHwI' (mind control device)
beam receptor placed in the HoD porghDaj (captain's body) by the batlhbe'
romuluSngan HoD ghaH. Once it was up the cloak only partially worked; that
is, it worked but anyone could easily detect us at short range because of the
radiation leaks.

Once we caught up with him, a battle began. I ordered an alpha maneuvering
toward the underbelly of the Dev romuluSngan 'oH (Romulan ship). This was
accomplished and we damaged the Dev romuluSngan 'oH severely, but it
destroyed the brigg area and retreated quickly thereafter. I believe he left
right after destroying the brigg because that's where he thought the HoD was,
but he was not. He had left the brigg after bID Sogh (lieutenant, junior
grade) Lucindaz was able to cut the transmission of the yab
SeHwI'.

We are now en route to Station 6 for major repairs.

I entered the bridge and took the Ops station. We then procced in
trying to find a way to detect for these objects we are trying to get to make
some sort of Super weapon. Overall the mission went well. Qlmpeq and Cicac
figured out that Doppler Rad's were emiited from the Peices so we followed
the trail of them to a Romulan Base.
Also Lucadaz was trying to preform some Physicals... She came up with
a very good way to do it too.
Clark helped in the search for the Doppler particles. We followed
them to the Romulan base where we then landed. Me, Kurn, and Clark beamed off
the ship to get the object or peice. We encounted little resistance at first
them we were ambushed. Kurn asked if I could get over to the compound and get
it I said I could... So I went over and got into the compound ... Killed
another rommulan... broke his neck... then got the object... Clark and Kurn
were covering me when i went over to get into the
compound.
We then beamed back to the ship and headed to the bridge.

This duty log will be brief. We are trying to recover the rest of the
Komerex weapon. While an away team searches for it, I have had the honor of
being stuck on a ship full of Klingons who hate doctors. Of course, if I
wasn't a doctor, then I would probably hate them too. But I have a ship load
of Klingons who are due for physicals. Fortunately, most of the crew has
already been to Healthbay for theirs. I just have a few stubborn officers
left. And I won't mention names.

Sogh wa'DIch QImpeq (First Lieutenant K'mpec), son of QotaH

Today, we continued our quest to find all the pieces of the Komorex Weapon.
bID Sogh CICAC and I went to the science lab to figure out a way to detect
the Komorex pieces at great distances. CICAC, after scanning the object,
found that it emitted high levels of Doppler radiation. We reported this to
ra'wI' qurn and he had zareQ alter the sensors to detect this type of
radiation. This gave us an accuracy of within 6m of the object. We
proceeded to Romulan planet Maoonre where a piece had been detected.

Once we reached the planet, we landed the ship 100km away from the Romulan
camp where the piece was detected. ra'wI' qurn lead an away team consisting
of zareQ and Clark to the camp and searched for the weapon. They found it,
but not without resistance. They were in a battle before we could beam them
back. We got the piece and now we have three.

I entered the bridge and took the Ops station. I transfered Helm
controls to my station and we proceded to Head to an Orbit when a Rommie ship
entered oribt and the Planets Guns fired on us we remained cloaked and exited
the planets Atmosphere. Where we Decloaked and opened fire hitting the
WarBird. The Kurn orded to load the torps and fire while Cloaked... QImpeq
Refused to fire while cloaked it is dishonorable I agree but I took over
Tactical after he left and Fired... Why make a Weapon and not
use it is my thinking. We hit them and Blew them to little bits and
peices... But we were also Boarded QImpeq was already starting to clear the
ship of Rommie scum. I went down to help with val. We went deck by deck
killing Rommies on each deck it was truly Glorious not to meantion Fun!
We then modified the one of the weapons to fire with the Kermox
piece attached which made it even more effective on the Rommies. We Soon
Found ourselves heading away towards the Empire... We are heading to Station
4 for repairs.

Executive Officer's Duty Log
Stardate 9703.01

**Begin Log**

We started out on the surface of a Romulan planet, right next to one of
their
military bases. Since we were cloaked, they couldn't see us, but knew we were
somewhere because of the away team we sent to recover the Komerex object.
We quickly took off from the surface and entered orbit where we were
detected
immediatly by two Romulan warbirds in orbit. I ordered the ship cloaked to
use the
new weapon that enables us to fire while cloaked. QImpeq refused the order. I
normally would have killed him for challenging my command, but this was in
the
middle of an emergency, so I merely relieved him of duty.
Zarek took tactical and fired the weapon. Still, it wasn't working. We were
losing
badly to the Romulans. Our port shields had failed and we had Romulan
boarding
parties all over the ship. I re-instated QImpeq and ordered him to take
security teams
around the ship and kill any Romulans onboard.Then I had Cicac to connect the

pieces of the Komerex object we already had into the disruptors. He did so,
and
it increased the disruptors power by ten. We destroyed one of the warbirds
and the
other fled.
We set a course back to the Empire at full impulse as Cicac stablized the
warp core
and Lucdaz tended to the many casualties. Unfortunatly, several Romulans
managed
to slip past QImpeqs security teams. They went to engineering and threatened
the
badly damaged core with phasers.
I sent all available crewmen down there and we stopped the Romulans, but
not
before one of the largest disruptor battles I have ever seen. Practically
everyone on
the ship was injured.
We are now on course to Station 4 for major repairs and medical
assistance..

The Hegh'ta was down on the surface of the Romulan planet so we took off,
being detected and shot at by both orbiting warbirds and surface weaponry.
Rawl Kurn ordered Qlmpec to fire under cloak, who consumed with a great sense
of honor, refused and went to his quarters. Zarek followed orders and I had
to go manually load the torpedo bays for him. Not much helped and we were
being boarded. After killing as many Romulans as I could, CICAC and I,
ordered by Kurn, tried to hook up the Komerex object to
the Deflector and soon succeeded scaring off one and destroying the other
warbird. The core was badly damaged and after long attempts, Cicac and I
stabalized it for the moment. Then the Romulans attacked trying to take it
out. After the Disruptor battle that occured, we fixed the core and
proceeded to Station 4 for repairs.

... Once the away team was beamed aboard, we commensed with the launch
sequence. We were hit a couple of times by the planetary defense systems but
that was only moderate damage. Once we got out of the planet's atmosphere,
we were attacked by a couple of Warbirds. We were heavily damaged by this
battle... then the la' (commander) gave me an order. That order was to fire
at the Romulans while cloaked. I refused to commit this dishonorable act so
I was relieved from my post and duties and the la'
found an officer who would obey his orders without question... like a
mindless fool who simply and blindly obeyed orders without thinking about
their consequences. (To protect the inocent, the officer's name will not be
mentioned :::coughszareQ:::) Anyway, I was ordered to my quarters... but I
further disobeyed orders by going to engineer room and tried to convince
CICAC that firing while cloaked was dishonorable and to disarm the torpedo
but he wouldn't consent. I, thereafter, went to my quarters
and proceeded with the HoH'eghneS (honorable suicide) ritual. But, when I
was about to pierce my chest, I was interupted by the la' commanding me to
help in the shipwide on-board battle against the Romulans... so I attempted
to restore some honor by leading an attack team throughout the ship. This
ended in a major battle in the engine room where all the Romulans gathered
trying to destroy the warp core. I was shot in the leg in this battle but
that is of no consequence since I killed 11 romuluSngan
yaSpu' (Romulan officers) during the course of this battle. We regained
control of the ship and are now headed back home.

We are on our way to Station 4 for major repairs to the Hegh'ta, and to
get medical help. I am badly understaffed at the moment. As we lifted the
Hegh'ta into space, the Romulans opened ground fire on us, and sent ships
after us. Cicac and his assistants worked furiosly in engineering. I was down
in engineering tending to some wounds when the first wave of Romulans got
aboard. The crew fended them off whie I completed my work. As Cicac returned
to work another group of Romulans attacked. I was on
my way to the bridge when I got called back to engineering. I pulled the
injured from the line of fire (though some, no names here, didn't know when
to quit). I got a weapon and fired on the Romulans while calling for my few
assistants to get the injured out. The bridge and engineering crew contained
the Romulans and I was beamed to HealthBay. Once there I tended to the more
serious injuries, including Lagh Rogath and Sogh Cicac. I am dealing with
the rest now, while I wait for a medical response from
Station 4...

I entered the bridge and took the Ops station. I then looked over
sensors as we began our mission to stop what we would soon find out was the
crystaline entity. We were heading towards the Federation Neutral Zone which
was where we were to be sent and we found the entity it was eating the planet
already we fired blowing it up into smaller pieces. I was wondering if it
were entirely dead it seemed so but wasn't. Ra'w'I Kurn went down to the
planet with QImpeq and a small medical detachment.
I was monitoring a new object on LG Sensors which turned out to be a
BIGGER entity heading our way at Warp 9.5. If it went any faster it would
shatter for sure. Chuck was helping me get better sensor reception while I

Ra'w'I Kurn returned with QImpeq and the medical detachment and
wounded. Around that Time the smaller pieces began to reform and attack us.
Not to meantion in 5 mintues we'd have a Really big entity hitting us. We
Moved back to regroup ... THEN we Hit went back Ready to Die for our Fellow
Dead Friends.

Notes: Okay I am tring to learn Klingon but i doubt I'll be able to speak if
fluently ...I have a hard enough time with Spanish which I need to Pass my
School and I fail that and I might be on a LOA... which I don't want to
happen... then I have my Other Character Learning Bajoran... and a little
Vulcan... I'll do my best. I hope I got the Ia' right for Commander.

Tactical and Second Officer's Log, StarDate 9703.08
Sogh ra'wI' QImpeq (Lieutenant Commander K'mpec), son of QotaH
tlhIngan Hubbeq Duj Hegh'ta (I.K.C. Death)

Before the mission today, one of the officers aboard the ship challenged the
HoD je ra'wI' woQchaj (Captain and commander's authority) by remarking on
their command abilities. The HoD (captain) was forced to kill him because of
his remark.

Today, there was a surprise attack on an out-skirt world of the Empire. We
recieved a message from a planet near the Federation but it was cut off
during the middle so we were sent to investigate. When we got there, we
found a Crystaline Entity. We knew the nature of these things (feeding on
the energy of planets and their inhabitants) so we beamed to the surface to
check up on how the colonists were doing. We found that the ones that were
alive were near death. We beamed them all back the the
Hegh'ta and left the system so we could treat the colonists. We are now on
our way back to fight the Entity and avenge the deaths and injuries of the
planet's inhabitants...

I have recieved the honor of being promoted to Sogh ra'wI'. I am now,
officially, part of the command staff of the Hegh'ta. This is a GREAT honor
which was earned by myself and bestowed upon me by the HoD.

Chief Engineer's log stardate 9703.01...

...After capturing yet another weapon component, we took off and broke out of
the planet's atmoshere. My assistant engineer aided me immensly in holding
the ship together as we took moderate damage in the firefight in the
atmosphere. After regaining partial power and bringing the port shields back
on-line we prepared to fight. QImpeq refused to fire, thinking it was the
honorable thing to do, causing us to sustain major damage. He was relieved to
quarters and Zarek took tactical. Just as it seemed that
we might be able to get away from the many Romulan Warbirds are shields were
compromised and many intruders beamed into main engineering. Thinking
selflessly (as true klingons do) I pushed Rogath to safety, smartly raised a
force field around the warp core to protect it since destroying the ship was
their goal, summoned security, and killed most of the Romulans
single-handedly. Getting hit over 4 times I continued to fight. I also warned
the bridge when the Romulans, knowing they couldn't overrun me
beamed troops there. Nursing my many wounds I saved the ship from a warp
core breach with the aid of Rogath. After stablizing the warp field matrix
and keeping the antimatter's force fields up I brought the warp core back to
partial power and gave the ship enough power to hold cloak and sustain warp
4, though I could have given much more speed. After getting away from the
wimpering Romulans I recieved an honor I was not expecting. I was brought to
the rank of Sogh by my exective officer, Rawl Kurn.

Chief Engineers personal log Stardate 9703.08...
After my rank change I went back to work with a slight hangover from all the
partying. We were told to go to a planet which was being attacked by an
unknown ship. Setting course, we went. What we saw actually SCARED me (which
is not usual). The crystalline entity was destroying the planet. We torpedoed
it but it just shattered and later reformed to damage the ships lower decks.
QImpeq, Kurn, and Lucdaz beamed down but were only able to save about 15
klingons. My Uncle Wally was not among the survivors.
They beamed aboard and we were attacked by the newly reformed entities not
to mention the large one that was approaching at warp 9.5. We retreated then
returned to fight them and honorably avenge the dead. The outcome of the
mission unresolved. Until next week...
